It’s meant to be Jason & Tim but is Jason too old in this? I feel like this looks more like Dick. I dunno, maybe it’s the hair.

Also, apparently floaty airbrushy colouring style is just what I do now. I have mixed feelings about this but it’s the quickest way to block out flats for me. I didn’t even use the airbrush. XD

I was trying to colour it in quickly so it looks at least a little finished but that, obviously, did not work very well. At least I used a reference this time.

Really should stop expecting 'just to relax’ doodles to turn into amazing and completed works of art lol. I think this took me...40 minutes? 50 minutes? Maybe an hour? I can’t even remember anymore.

*sigh* So much to improve on.

I like the hands though.

I've put thought into it.#Speaking of putting thought into things...I have put two full asses of effort into this. So I'm gonna talk about it in the tags.#I mapped all the major sects to hallownest clans and drew *way* more than just the characters shown here #More pertinently not shown are the Nies - Who are beetles!#The mantis clan has a lot of crossover with the Nies given the lore but I Love Mantis Wangji and you cant take him away from me.#wwx was a moth solely for his ties to Baoshen sanren (nearly forgotten sect & nearly forgotten clan)#but (HOLLOW KNIGHT SPOILERS) the ties to her radiance and the infection made for some very fun parallels #YLLZ moth 100% is puppeting husks around #JGS is a pale king expy becuase...you know....lots of children...#it also gives me a great excuse to explain wwx's soul taking mxy's body.#Still have lots and lots to say but I'm already running late! More funny - less specific to a very small population - comics to morrow!#This was more or less a style study and I learned a lot!#Thank you all for an awesome 6 months B*) You guys have pushed my way more out of my shell (pun intented) than I would-#-have ever gone had I just hidden away like I usually do. Progress Update;

DEC 2023 - JAN 2024;

Happy New Year!! i hope you are happy and healthy this fine 2024 (scary thought, can't believe 2023 went by so quickly)

i'm going to try and keep consistent with monthly progress updates this year, not only to keep you all informed with how it's going, but also to keep myself motivated lol

so!

december was a slow one, because of the holidays, but i think i got an alright amount done all things considered :)

DONE;

all of the non-ro scenes (intro to your room, meeting your personal staff, etc.)

had a fiddle with the code to try and fix up some things (that is a work in progress)

not game related, really, but started working on some more in-depth character descriptions and possible portraits (starting with the ROs but i will be doing some prominent side characters as well)

TO DO;

meet the rest of the ROs (and your first impression on them)

take on your first advisory challenge for Aleron/Alize (this one doesn't effect anything Much, it's mostly to show you how those will work)

also! under the cut is a poll that i would appreciate if you all answered :)
