it’s always something at the pool party. one year he fell in the pool, one year he hurt his leg in the first five minutes, this year….he blew his pads. he is being suuuuper sad about it but luckily he is the king of cooperative care and actually enjoys me fussing over him. hopefully he’s (literally) back on his feet very soon!

I'm so sorry to hear that you're struggling and, if I could, I would definitely give you a big hug. But, since that's not possible, I'm glad that I can still offer some comfort through my fic.

I've said it before, but knowing that my writing can give people hope, stability, or even just a distraction is the reason why I post. I will always write, but I choose to post it online because, just maybe, it can brighten someone's day.

And so please remember that. Even if I might not be able to update as often as I used to (due to my own health problems) I will always keep posting as long as there are people like you. As long as people enjoy what I do, I'll continue to share it.

I do it for you 💜

And while I don't have any snippets and such that I can share to maybe help you along, here's a simple sketch I just finished of Yo Han, on the subject of "You want to fuck that old man so bad it makes you look stupid."

In November I ended up with 52,436 words. I wrote 13 chapters, which has allowed me to schedule out December and take a bit of a break, because I've gotten a lot of bad health news and am quite burnt out managing a lot of appointments which has made it very hard to write at all. I'm hoping to write to an adjusted schedule in 2023 that still allows me to deliver high quality chapters, but at a more realistic pace! (It will still always be around 5-10 chapters a month, don't worry).

December will bring more Underline the Black, and the next installment of Faber/Caleb for patrons is coming as well. We have more Nascent Diplomat, and another Stardew Valley fic chapter also!
