You don't understand how much it means to me that Joker Out is redefining what masculinity is for Balkan girls and boys. In Serbia, we still have this patriarchal upbringing that teaches boys to be aggressive and girls that "real men" are tough with nothing feminine about them.

And watching the Stožice livestream only to see how many girls said "Oh my GOD Kris' outfit slays" in my fucking language; these girls that were taught that those clothes and guys like that are feminine and gay, to see them being head over heels for this Princess Diana resurrect is so so important to me

Because I have a son, and I like to hope that if he in some 10 years wants to dress up like that he won't be ridiculed for it. And if I have a daughter I want her to see that there are so many gender expressions out there and that toxic masculinity is really just... boring.

And these guys are paving the way. With their painted nails and sexy clothes and homosexual behaviors and-

It's just so baffling to me in the best way possible, and I am so so grateful to them beyond words for doing that and being unapologetically themselves.
