Brown Eyes Looking Into Browner Eyes
Not to toot my own horn (lol I know that's the point of the tag game), but I consider this my magnum opus of 2022. It was the first time I fully incorporated lighting onto a full-piece and I was so proud of how it came out. Seeing all the wonderful comments of ppl loving it meant to much to me :') Also I continue to push my brown eyes supremacy propaganda lmao

Cullen and Immy's babies
Backgrounds are always a challenge for me, full illustrations are in general (sighs in wanting to be a portrait artist then changing my mind & deciding I wanna be an illustrator smh) especially when there's multiple characters in one and there's 5 in this. The whole process of thinking about every aspect - lighting, color palette, poses, dynamics, perspective jmfidi is SO MUCH. But I really wanted to do this because I wanted a full family illustration of Immy and Cullen w/ their bbs. I don't think it's perfect but me finishing it and actually DOING it helps in going forward.

Uh-oh, more Cullen x Immy baby content lol. Cullen and Immy's post-Trespasser's life (my hc of it) is my comfort place. I've never cared about giving OCs babies until I romanced Cullen w Immy and now it's all I can think about ;-; The two of them as mamae and papae just make me jmfidijf and baby Ilao is my absolute beloved even tho she's a menace <3 (Papae Cullen does things to my heart ;-;)

Sinag 2.0
I made Sinag when I was 22, and since I'm 28 now, I've changed quite a bit since then. I've revamped her recently because I've been feeling disconnected with her and I think this helped me find her voice again. So ofc, I had to draw a new proper art piece of her. I was so worried this was going to come out awful because Dragon Age armor in general IS A DOOZY to draw lmao. I'm pleasantly surprised this came out decently, Hawke's armor made me dizzy looking at it lol.
Something you want other people to see
Cullen x Immy as Jane and Bingley
I did a screencap redraw of Lizzie and Darcy as Amihan and Nate, so I decided why not do it with Cullen and Immy - cause I've always seen them as Jane and Bingley. It turned into a full study that took me three weeks (cryin) but I was really happy with how the environments turned out. I really SHOULD DO one again. I put blood sweat and tears into it so I kindly ask to Please Look lol ;-; <3

OC-tober day 10 prompt: colour palette
Pumpkin patch and Tisias with Mordei!Kye from the Dreams of Copper and Snow AU (CopperSMP)

CAN YOU BELIEVE I WENT 10 DAYS WITHOUT MENTIONING MY CSMP AU!?!!?!?!?!?? Anyways, a green colour palette? I have to use these two right? Otherwise I would be drawing Rena. Again. Without getting into the very complicated DoCaS lore (I mean for the Copper timeline I have a masterpost here), in both timelines Kye ends up having her heart replaced with that of Tisias, her mentor and closest friend in her early life. The funny thing about Mordei!Kye (Gold timeline) is that because of a horrible case of misunderstanding/miscommunication she ends up killing him herself and taking that heart for herself. I am sure this definitely won't have any bad ramifications. Worst part of it all? He'd willingly give them his heart in any timeline even when asked upfront. And in every timeline his love will always be a curse for her. The horror of love am i right?

Hey i really love your builds and stuff and i had to ask, How do you stay motivated to build? I’ve hit a real block recently and none of my stuff looks right or i can’t even start a build, any advice?
Hi dear!! Love your name btw, and thanks for such a deep question! I'm so sorry you've hit the builder's block- honestly that happens to me from time to time as well!
As a creator it can be really frustrating to hit a wall with builds and not know where to go. These tips are generally what I do and sometimes they help, sometimes I just gotta ride the block until it's over.
Keep a list of projects you want to complete. You can do this for survival OR creative. I find keeping lists really helps me to stay motivated though I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I've got an entire iPad's worth of notes for my worlds. Before my iPad I used Notion and handwritten notes to keep track of everything I wanted to do! If you wanna see my lists / inspo organization feel free to let me know and I'll post~
Build something from a reference. Instead of trying to imagine it if you normally do that, open up a cool Sims house, art concept, video game screenshot, photograph, etc., and just try to build the shapes you see there into a cohesive thing~!
Try a brand new style! Sometimes to keep ideas fresh and flowing, I need to take off my texture packs and get back to basics- and building in a gothic or medieval style with different blocks than I normally use generally really helps me get the creative ideas flowing! If you're not really sure how to build that style, go find (and follow!!) a tutorial or browse online (YouTube, Instagram, MinecraftBuilds subreddit, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc.,) for some inspo!! Even if it's something you won't ever build again, sometimes just building the way someone else does can spark so many ideas!
Play something else for a while. This can be super helpful if you are stuck. Sometimes I get stuck because I've Minecrafted too much, and I need to take a day or sometimes even a week away from the game and play something else. But usually I end up seeing some kind of inspo from another game and come racing back to build it 😂 The days where I opened the game, got nothing done, closed it and was frustrated with myself though were harmful to my overall mindset so now I will just see how I feel when I turn my PC on. Feel like building/playing? No-> Alright, let's do something else. Everything else can wait. Videos can be released a day later. Streams can be cancelled. I need to do /something else/.
Switch up the game! There are many times I get burned out from building in survival so switching to creative where I can feel more free has definitely helped! But the opposite is also true, sometimes forcing yourself to gather the resources and really envision the build as you're doing it helps me!
Don't force yourself if you're not feeling it. I burned out hard on Minecraft building a few times trying to keep up with daily build challenges or posting insta reels/tiktoks. Wait until you're feeling how you used to or motivated before you actually jump into the game again. The longest this "recovery" period has taken me is about 2 months, in summer of 2021 before I started streaming.
Honestly the biggest one that helps me is #1, I keep track of everything I want to do and I save lots of different inspo. pictures to give myself ideas while I build. Now, I don't block for block copy stuff-but sometimes seeing a roof shape I've never tried before or a block palette that looks cool can be enough to help me. Overall, I've found that keeping track of what builds and projects I'm working on and ✔ checking things off as they're done has really helped me be more intentional with my game(s) and my time, and the less time I spend frustrated or feeling lost, the more overall I've not been hitting the block as much.

Why Barrendale Mesa is my favorite planet right now!
SPOILER WARNING FOR THE GAME! BE WARNED! IF YOU WANT TO PLAY IT BLND, PLEASE LOOK AT THIS AFTER YOU COMPLETED THE GAME! IF YOU WANT TO STILL PROCEED READING THIS, YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED!!
Hello my fellow Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope enthusiasts and lovers, I want to proclaim my everlasting love to Barrendale Mesa as my favorite planet and I will explain why:
1.What is Barrendale Mesa?
Barrendale Mesa was one of the first places the Rabbds colonized. It was once a fertile and rich planet with verdant fields, until the Rabbids stripped it of its natural resources and left it barren as we can see here below:
It looks still beautiful, but you can easily make the case of how depressing it looks and therefore isn’t as great as other planets with more vegetation such as Palette Prime and Terraflora or are great places for vacation like Beacon Beach or Pristrine Peaks, who still have a rich enough biodiversity to be considered acceptable for most Rabbids and Humans. But I think it fits with this game being set in space, where a lot is barren out there and yet it is still beautiful or do you want me to tell that our other planets aren’t beautiful? Look at Venus, at Mars, at Saturn, at Uranus...these planets are Barren and yet beautiful, because they capture our imagination and represent something for us that is very crucial for the game, I’ll leave it at that for now. Let us go back to what this planet is! Barrendale Mesa represents a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by people who want to rebuild this place after many of the original inhabitants left it barren and decided to plunder other planets (such as Palette Prime, Pristine Peaks, Terraflora and Beacon Beach). You might think it’s impossible to make such a place bloom again, but as we see with Momma, the many other Rabbids here such as Victor and Gespard (an artist who made many works of art such as the frescoes of Beacon Beach or the murals here in Barrendale Mesa), it’s anything but impossible. Momma came here to help the Rabbids fix their tech problem with the Robo T-Rex by using its Battery Pack to adapt the WIndmill into a renewable energy reactor for the Ring Stabilizator:
It’s a machine that does this according to the memory, to fix the erosion problem that plagues this once verdant mesa. With it, Momma can allow vegetation to return and transform the planet back to its former state, before it became so barren. This Ring works sort of like a terraforming tool you see in many Sci fi worlds such as Star Trek or Spore, where with technology, empty planets can become fertile and green. It’s like an artificial tree and fertilizer in one that can undo desertification and thus restore the planet again. Momma is a genius really and there is something about her, I will keep for now, but maybe you got it and want to tell me it...Anyway Barrendale Mesa is also home to a few Rabbids isolated from society where they live in here in this desert to join Momma or explore its canyons. Also, small green places can be located where the Silly Chuckfish challenge takes place and even within the darkmess Dimension we see canals of Water creating lush green flora, showing us how there is Hope. So in short, It’s sort of like a small desert community you would find in the U.S., as the word Mesa is a reference to the city Mesa in Arizona, a city within a hot and barren land. For those who live there, Barrendale Mesa might remind them of their home, so for those who live there, what is your opinion on Barrendale Mesa? Does it represent really the more isolated communities there well or is it uncanny? What do you think? I ask, because now due to Barrendale Mesa, I wanna live in Mesa, if it weren’t for the fact that I am aversive to warm climates. Let us continue:
2. Barrendale Mesa incorporates ALL 4 seasons!
I make no secret that I love season theming in games and this is also why I love holiday themed events in games as they make me really feel good and show me the diversity of nature and human culture really well like the chinese new year, Christmas, Ramadan and you name it. All of the previous planets were themed after 1 season of the year. Beacon Beach is summer, Pristine Peaks is Winter, Palette Prime is Autumm/Fall and Terraflore is Spring. Barrendale Mesa would be all seasons in one, it represents the hotness and coldness(Deserts can be very cold, especially in the night) of both Summer and Winter. The withering and blooming of plant life of Autumm and Spring. Barrendale Mesa pretty much is the representation of life in the universe as a whole. It is small, simple and fragile and needs to be protected and cherished or we end up all in a dark mess...each part of the plant life, each living person is a Spark of Hope for something more, something bigger, something that fulfills all how needs and desires... The Sparks of Hope!
3.Barrendale Mesa is the planet of Hope!!!
Barrendale Mesa is where we encounter Daphne, the most cunning and devious of the Spark Hunters and after her defeat, Cursa comes in and wants to squash us, but at the final moment, Rosalina seemingly breaks free of Cursa’s grip and creates a portal for us to escape Cursa’s wrath in time, which we did. The Party is devastated of course and yet, at the same time, they feel something that makes them not give up. Rosalina’s final act of defiance awakens within Rabbid Rosalina and Jeanie the feeling of Hope, the Hope that if Rosalina can fight back against Cursa and saved them, that they can defeat her...Jeanie had trouble understanding this feeling, until Momma told her what she is feeling and points to a Darkmess Crystal that reveals Cursa’s Origin:
SHE IS A FRAGMENT OF THE MEGABUG FROM THE LAST GAME AND MUTATED WITH STELLAR DEBRIS INTO BECOMING CURSA, AN EVIL BEING THAT IS HELLBENT ON TAKING OVER THE GALAXY WITH IT’S DARKMESS...It attacked the Comet observatory to gain the power of the Lumas, but fought against Rosalina and possibly one, only for their clash to send the Lumas and some Rabbids to fly into space, fusing, and thus they became the Sparks, a new species with endless power. Rosalina merged with Cursa and was under her control, but not without resisting her at every turn. Now with this info, the heroes are armored with hope to defeat a being made of Fear and Hate, Cursa. Barrendale Mesa gave the heroes the best weapon in Space and one that can power through anything. Barrendale Mesa might be like the odds to win against Cursa or the chance to live long within this dangerous universe pretty harsh and unforgiving, and you would be right that it’s hard...but there is still hope, Hope to live in a universe without Cursa, without having to worry about heat death and hope to make our lives better and find what we really want.
I did not mention the superficial stuff like the music and boss battles, because they are irrelevant, and I think I made my case very well and I Hope we can all see eye into eye! Now tell me what you think of my post? Is it shit? Or is it hopeful and thought-provoking!
May the Sparks of Hope guide us to our dreams and hopes!

Shogun Steel Episode 8:
-whats that in the sky? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! Its misogyny!
-i do like the idea of the gang going around ti show off the cyclone stadium, but i do remember them going through it too quick
-side note i love how everyone is standing casually while tsubasa talks to them while shinobu is stiff as a board. Hes such a fucking disaster.
-the line readings are kinda stiff this scene im really wondering if it was just a problem with scene length

-summary: i dont know if i hate this episode or episode 6 more but both of them are awful. The blatant misogyny of this series in specific becomes apparent every time ren is on screen. Its awful. There are very little redeeming qualities this episode and ultimately i think it was a terrible mistake. Sakyo and takanosuke both deserve violence commited against them in the name of feminism.

Review: Love Ghost’s new emo single ‘Time Travel’ embraces a scattered sound dipped in pop-punk and trap, with an anime-esque narrative of fighting demons
The emo-based duo Love Ghost are widely known for their exceptional live shows across the globe, to their signature emo-styled music that’s shaped an entire genre. But now as they continue their collaborations with yet another Latin American artist, their work is sure to continue to grow more than ever before.
With a sound as one-of-a-kind as always, Love Ghost’s newest single ‘Time Travel’ delivers an experience that’s just as much of a whirlwind as you’d expect time-travelling to actually be. From distorted synth that eerily whirs things in, to a distant echoey speech that lingers on the words that fall front and centre of the journey you’re about to embark on, it’s hard not to feel the pumping adrenaline and unease all wrapped into one while the solitary question wraps its way around your mind: ‘when you wake up alone and have no one to answer to, what do you call that? Loneliness, or freedom?’ Continuing into the opening verse, things get that bit more tense as dark piano keys take hold of the dominant display, accompanied by louder synth and swiftly added scattered beats that build up a palette of genre-bending madness from alternative to pop-punk to emo and trap. The spoken styled vocals only tie together to the performance, delivering the perfect amount of emotion and attitude for a song filled with troubled thoughts and inner demons.
The choruses introduction sees things simmering down, caught up in whispering voices and low beats for an intermission that’ll fill with questions. The hushed vocals build upon that softness, everything feeling secretive as opposed to the in-your-face noise that soon returns once again. The rest of the chorus is similar to before, continuing the familiar instruments but with hoarsely screamed vocals haunting many of the poignant lines. The Mexican artist Yung Dupe takes over the second verse for an entire shift of his own, delivering Spanish lines with a flair and angst of his own that weaves perfectly into the sound Love Ghost have carved.
Of course with a sound so harsh and stripped-back it’s no surprise that Love Ghost have once again penned a narrative soaked in meaning, singing of a a friend or partner struggling with their trauma, and the wishes of a friend to time travel to absolve her from her experiences. Paired with anime-styled visuals, this narrative can’t help but feel perfectly suited for that kind of delivery, merging elements of real life with the escapism of another world and abilities entirely. From the opening’s hook ‘they just wanna see what happens when we tear the world apart’, there’s a sense of dominance in their union, that if they were to come together they could bring both power and destruction. Continuing that ‘if I could time travel, fight all of your battles, ‘cause I’m not gonna lose my second chance with you’ it’s made clear that their desire to time travel is selfless, wishing to heal someone of the wrongdoings they’ve experienced. Some lines shake up your expectations entirely, with moments like ‘you’re crawling out from the depths of my mind, finding reasons to break my spine’ perhaps alluding to our protagonist facing their own inner conflicts, but pushing them aside to offer assistance to those they love. It’s the perfect mix of relatable for those who may have been there, to a little more fictional in truly battling the demons within, challenging forces that don’t actually visually exist. Keep listening here to really understand the mix of epic sound, intimate meaning and fierce combat.
