I think Lexaeus and Zexion's relationship is mutually beneficial and they're both aware of it. Zexion reaps a lot more obvious benefits (protection, a listening ear, an extra set of hands), but in my mind the reason why Lexaeus protects Zexion in the first place is because of the immense guilt he feels for not being able to save anyone in his first life.
Zexion lets Lexaeus use him as a means of assuaging that guilt, and Lexaeus lets Zexion use him for... basically everything. And they do really care about each other but Nobodies are so fucking bad at recognizing that they're even capable of caring about anything so they both think they're just using each other like they're two separate kingdoms with a trade agreement or something and not close colleagues

Helloooo popping in to say I love your art! It’s cute and feels soft (reminds me of when you’ve got a really smooth pencil and it just ghosts across the paper) but your poses and anatomy also give it a good feeling of realism :D
classic question here; do you have anything you’d say is a big influence on your art? I love seeing what people answer and trying to connect it back to the kind of thing they currently make :]
!! thank u!!! i do wish i could get more creative with angles, but im happy knowing my art gives u that feeling ^_^
I really enjoy comics!! I like poking thru graphic novels and webcomics, so I've fallen into the habit of exposing myself to lots of different styles over time that I'm fairly explorative with my art. It gives me a lot to study, especially since different artists have different strengths and preferences
I also think of myself as a simple person, so I'm not strongly attached to anything in particular... I notice a lot of artists find their ground in certain interests or aesthetics. But since I'm not really like that, I try to put a bit of myself in whatever I draw to connect with my art better. Its probably why I like taking creative liberty when making fanart lol
im also drawn to indie creative work like games and animation! they tend to be extremely varied and unique from each other, which is great since I work from my own sense of curiosity. I also hate repetition, so having things that set themselves apart visually or otherwise is something I like to look for.

theres this moment in potd when theyre in the tardis and yaz is keeping a gun on the master and the tardis lights up with the message from that traitor dalek, right? and the master is like on the plane when the doctor realised there was no pilot being all "messages from daleks?? oh no what could that mean?? the doctor getting coordinates from daleks?? oh no yaz thats so worrying" but like he obviously knows whats going on right hes just trying to get under yazs skin
and theres this moment where he says that and yaz looks at him, and looks at the gun in her hands still aimed at him, and then back at him, and like shes not stupid right she knows hes up to Something it's just not entirely clear yet exactly How hes up to something and what this dalek thing has to do with it but she trusts the doctor right so shes like "im sure theres a good reason" even though shes Clearly Having Doubts and the master says "lets hope so"
i dont really have a point i just hadnt really idk Registered this moment where she looks at that gun like
is this what he wants? am i doing what he wants? how could this possibly be what he wants?
like idk, the doubt is fun. the way the last line before this moment is "im in your head dear" and like the master didnt GET anywhere with this, right? like he wasnt gonna make yaz shake at all she was never gonna like,,,,,defect or anything. he doesnt get anywhere with this, but it does make yaz force the doctor to tell her What The Fuck Shes Doing in the next scene
it might have been interesting to see in the next scene what it might have taken for yaz to stop the doctor from going to see that dalek. like clearly shes loyal enough, or trusts the doctor's judgement more than her own so much, that if the doctor says "it's a risk i have to take" that thats enough to make yaz follow
but what if yaz had been like no i think something is actually wrong here in a way we dont understand yet and if we act now we're gonna make mistakes bc we're Missing Stuff. bc like yaz at this point is pretty fucking familiar with trying to do stuff while Missing Necessary Information, right? what if she'd been like we have a time machine, we can afford to take 5 minutes to figure out what is actually going on here before just walking into something we both know is a fucking trap

i finished lightfall like two weeks ago and tbh i was expecting it to be waaaaay worse. bc its not bad.
like, speaking as a player who got into the game less than a month ago, who knows more or less what happened in d1 and in the vaulted content, it was... fine
know whats kinda bad?
shadowkeep.
shadowkeep is... rough. im dragging my brother through it rn and its a Time. the campaign quests are okay, i guess, but the whole ~forge an armor piece by piece~ is boring and the "do this bounty", "do events two dozen times", "kill things" between campaign missions are SO painful. especially because i have almost NO context re: who these nightmares are. i never met crota. i never met taniks. i only know who these people are bc i watched a 4 hour summary of destiny's story. none of this mattered or made much sense to me.
i love the atmosphere on the moon, tho. and eris is great.
but i distinctly remember finishing shadowkeep and going "thats it?" and "are all the campaigns going to be like this????" and feeling dread because ffxiv is my main game and i had a very different idea of what a campaign should be bc i had already bought beyond light. which im really glad i did bc i went on to play it out of spite and it was much better. witch queen was fantastic. and lightfall was good.
so for me, it's witch queen -> ligthfall -> beyond light -> shadowkeep.
lightfall does have "this couldve been an email" vibes and the final boss fight is a huge letdown if compared to witch queen's but i dont think the story/campaign is a bad as ppl make it out to be tbh
