#bg3 #tiefling #tw blood #c: Viivi #so I redid my bg3 character because I wasn't feeling durge that much. So now my sibling does durge and I regular tav Viivi #(changed her to tiefling for funs)#at least I meant to do regular tav but uhhhhh things have gone very unfortunately very fast #anyway. Viivi is an artist; she does painting sculpting poetry and some prose. Experimenting with this and that #unfortunately she is deaf which made making connections a bit hard in the fine arts world #fortunately she has a patreon with one very generous patron (she's fey warlock)✨ who has bestowed some gifts of charms for her #which have opened doors of many art galleries #She's not a fighter so although she is confident in her own lane she is also very aware of her mortality #so she avoided any fights she could #which might have saved her but also got her into the mess of her lifetime #you see she couldn't fight the entire goblin camp and their leaders. She would've just not survived that. So she convinced them #that she is a True Soul. She is good at convincing people. It worked. They thought she is on their side. Good #Halsin also though Viivi was on their side. Halsin attacked Viivi's party. Now Halsin is dead.#So Viivi and her group were still alone deep within enemy fort. Viivi made new plans. She frees the prisoner who says he will warn the grov #Good thinks Viivi now they know to flee. I will go to Minthara and tell we got the information from prisoner of the grove location #she will trust us and we walk off #when we get back to grove they have not fled and Minthara is at the gates #Minthara wants Viivi to sound the horn. Zevlor wants Viivi to sound the horn. Viivi asks Zevlor to please tell this plan in detail.#Zevlor says just blow the horn already. Viivi does that. Minthara thanks Viivi for leaving the gate open as planned #Zevlor does not thank Viivi for that. Viivi is confused as she did not leave the gate open. (for real the damn gate was left open)#So I did a Massacre.#now Karlach is gone Wyll is dead. Lae'zel is also dead #but apparently Minthara is ready to be very loving and sincere with Viivi. The most helpful person she has met in very long time.#Viivi might love her #so that is how she's doing.

#some of these are kind of out of context so I’ll explain a bit djshdhshs #Xīn Yá’s fruit are ‘oranges’ but this could also mean fruits like tangerines and clementines #their taste also changes depending on Xīn’s mood. it does taste like orange but it could be sweeter or sour. if you get them really mad it #could be spicy somehow.. however the fruits healing powers and taste only work if you’re within a certain range of Xīn Yá. if u try to leave #the island with a shit ton of her fruit you just have a bunch of regular oranges. so you can’t just grab a bunch and save em for later exp #expecting it to work. although crow told me Sailor would take some oranges with him fully knowing they would end up being regular oranges #once he leaves. the idea of him taking them as souvenirs makes me cry EVERYTIME #LIKE CMON.. XĪN IS SO USED TO BEING USED AS A TOOL TO HEAL PPL OR SERVE OTHERS SO JUST. ACCEPTING EVEN READILY TAKING THEM #WITH YOU KNOWING ITS NOT GONNA DO SHIT IT JUST REMINDS YOU OF HER.. OUGGHHFFFFHHHH #on that note since sailor is their first friend it’s very fun watching their interactions dhfhsh. I went to finish off that baby quilt, and the first step was trimming the edges to make them straight, which meant I suddenly had a lot of little triangles of fabric

So I got sidetracked by scrap management! In addition to these wonky block (they have not been trimmed yet), I have a whole bunch of tiny HSTs

liking romantasy as an ace person who is more sex-indifferent than sex-favorable is so exhausting. there are all these books that look cool but the authors mostly market them based on spicy levels and spicy scenes and it does nothing for me so i just sit here like :| thats nice i guess haha

i do think there's probably something suspicious about the way everyone loves Ca$h and Quinni and their depth while essentially reducing Darren to their shared supporting character and/or the sassy black woman(/person in this case) stereotype, but I feel somewhat hypocritical bringing it up

#shimmer's thoughts #heartbreak high #darren rivers #cash piggott #ca$h piggott #quinni gallagher jones #tbf i'm mainly a meta writer and i feel like they mentioned darren's issues so clearly in s1 that there's not much for me to say #but most people aren't meta writers. and/or people who know the show better might be able to find things to talk about #it could also be more of a problem with the show itself bc from what i can remember they don't get much else to do #like. it feels like the white characters they support just have more depth and more going on than them #and ik people have talked about the show being weird about missy and malakai #although if we're going to talk about how missy and malakai are mistreated by the show #why is no attention given to the fact that darren's like 90% a stereotype #and 9% is them being desperate enough to change integral parts of themself for a white boy #and 1% is them explaining the stereotype with parent issues where the white dad is focused on and the black mom just disappears #that's still suspicious #also i feel like everyone jumps to hate on them every time they get the chance #without looking at why they do things. but then again the show doesn't really explain their reasoning ever does it #either way i feel like i either see people stereotyping them or shitting on them and no one in between acting regular about things #like i just went into the tags to make sure i'm not losing it and there's like 3 posts cutting them slack for the s1 ca$h storyline #and that's it. everything else focuses on ca$h or quinni or hates on them or stereotypes them. i just think that's a bit odd #idk. i can't put my finger on it but something's not right. i don't trust it #i mean i kinda did put my finger on it. i kinda slapped it repeatedly with my finger. but i still don't see a coherent enough thread here #to be personally satisfied. if i can't write a summary of my thoughts my thoughts aren't clear enough

correct me if I'm wrong but I was just thinking about the roykeeley in season two of it all, and that fight where Keeley loses it at Roy for being clingy because she can't handle how close they are now that they work in the same building but like,,, Keeley and Roy would have been working in the same building while dating for a good chunk of season one as well.

She started working at Nelson Road before Jamie was even sent back to Manchester. They would of had months working in the same building, so either Roy has always been that clingy and Keeley just didn't mind at first, which I found doubtful given that it only takes her like a week to blow up at him for it in season two, or Roy being clingy is an out of character thing for him to be doing that should've raised some kind of red flag to friends and loved ones that I feel like from what we know about Keeley as a character would've been treated with more empathy than she actually had in the show.

#i'm going off of memory so this might not be anything #but wasn't one of her complaints that he sat quietly in her office reading when they were on break?#girl how is that being clingy and not just regular levels of wanting to spend time with your partner?#I stand by that Roy wasn't in the wrong for that #I actually stand by Roy not being in the wrong for MOST of his relationship with Keeley #I don't even think he was wrong for breaking up with her #I will not ever view breaking off a relationship you aren't happy in as selfish #and I don't care how much the show tries to make me view him as selfish for it or like he threw something good away #no he didn't #just because Keeley was hurt by being broken up with (understandable reaction) does not mean Roy did the wrong thing by breaking up with he #he looked at the way their relationship was going and saw that he wouldn't be happy if he stayed so he left #and the show tried to frame that as a bad thing #“maybe i should've just stuck around and enjoyed it”#no sir that's not how these things work #staying in a failing relationship just because you don't want to be alone isn't healthy you did the right thing #your career and your love life aren't metaphors for each other #and let me be clear Roy and Keeley were 100% a failing relationship right from the start of season 2 with the fight that inspired this post #keeley's feelings about the breakup aren't more valid then Roy's just because she's the hurt party #and they clearly broke up amicably if Keeley is willing to sit down and tell Phoebe about it with him #she wasn't jilted or wronged in any way and the show framing it like that grinds my fucking gears
