Dude, imagine something like: TADC x Mime! Reader. Reader usually stays quiet most of the time, but sometimes they suddenly talk startling everyone around them. At the same time, they are like, very expressive, using exaggerated gestures and facial expressions, and usually communicates solely through their miming skills. And if you wanna go extra crazy THEY COULD ALSO HAVE SOMETHING LIKE MR. MIME FROM POKEMON, where they like, do a mimic of a wall, and then a invisible wall appears out of nowhere or something like that

eueueu i totally understand what youre saying and i love the idea sm!! i love it when mime characters have mime physics, or when clown characters have clown physics!! love it so so so much!! sorry if this is a little short, ive been writing personal stuff all day and the back aches are starting to creep back in already </3

CAINE:

his jaw drops the first time you speak, he genuinely thought you were totally incapable of speech thanks to your whole theme going on... i think he would love your little mime tricks with the invisible walls and barriers and... did you just no clip through the floor while pretending to walk down some stairs...? where did you go?? where? was there another no clip glitch issue thing going on? he thought he fixed that...!

POMNI:

ah, a jester and her mime.... not the weirdest pairing... though granted pomni doesnt commit to the bit of being a jester and doesnt do tricks or jokes.. while you do commit... i think she would grow frustrated if you put a barrier up and made her slow down... calm down.. chill.. sure you understand the whole "finding the exit" thing going on with her, but rushing things probably wont help.... to time out she goes... probably gives you a side eye if she sees you just randomly walking on some invisible platform to just. leave in the middle of an IHA

JAX:

tries to coax you into using your powers for evil... i have a feeling jax doesnt like people who arent talkers... like being incapable of speak is one thing, i think at most is that he would make decisions for you (ie wrap an arm around your shoulder and be like "oh well me and (reader) were just thinking about......." yk? like in a joking way) but i dont think he likes quiet people... tries to coax you into speaking more... imagine you never spoke before in front of anyone and you finally reveal that you can talk, to jax, and he tries to tell everyone but no one believes him. psychological torment 101

RAGATHA:

i like to think she plays along with your mime antics, pretending to also be putting up invisible props and such... though her actions and movements are noticeably more sloppy and not as... fluid...? afterall, ragatha hasnt spent time practicing to be anywhere near your level! is a little surprised when she finds out your stuff is at least somewhat tangible within the digital world... thinks your emoting is cute..

KINGER:

so you know how he gets startled by gangle simply standing next to him? its like that with you, but he jumps when you randomly start talking next to him.. ponders... invisible safe square/cube/whatever... though i think part of the comfort of a pillow fort is that hes out of sight... but i think he would enjoy it at least a little if you created something like that for him

ZOOBLE:

enjoys that you dont talk much, zooble doesnt like chatty people i dont think... though they are willing to listen to you on days where you do feel like striking up a conversation... you actually get a laugh out of them when you banish jax to time out (aka putting up 4 see through walls around him for whatever length of time to atone for whatever crime he committed that day)

"he took my arm off.. give him an hour.."

GANGLE:

art kid meets art kid, you guys are both a little silly... okay sure your stuff is more performative, and while gangle does have a comedy and tragedy mask her thing is more so in drawing and painting imo, i love me artistic gangle... loves doing your makeup, if its not just a permanent part of your digital face, and can be customized... not much to be said here... theres comfortable silence between the two of you when you hang out since you dont talk often and gangle doesnt know what to talk about and may or may not fear ruining the dynamic between the two of you

what's tubbo's stance on noms/ does he have any bad history, or perhaps he's just wary of tommy in general/ (cause i remember you mentioned tubbo was skeptic on how tommy had found out about that cult)

also,,,,, on the topic of the cult, who was all in it/ does it matter to the story in any way/

and then back to benchtrio. what is ranboo's stance on noms/ does he have any kind of history with them/

on the human side of things, is there anything like that one cult/ like a group of humans thinking that they're better than giants/

Hello Brick !! Sorry this is late, and I feel like we’ve kind of talked a little bit since you’ve sent this ask, but I’m answering anyway ofospdodj (you can add me on discord if you want ,,,)

For the NAW questions though!

How tall are SBI/giants?

For the sake on answering this question, Tommy as a human (these are based on hc) is 6’1. In NAW, he is a giant, so he is 61’. Basically, take the number and times by 10 (let me know if my math doesn’t check out lol)

Tommy is 61’, Phil is 58’, Wilbur is 66’5”, Techno is 63’5”. Besides that, specific heights aren’t too important, just the scale.

How did Wilbur handle the guilt with Sally? How did people react (if even told)?

Here’s the fun thing, Wilbur didn’t tell a single person what happened with Sally. That day, when he realized she was gone, he went through such a powerful wave of grief, and rationalized that he shouldn’t tell anyone. With this, he became extremely against noms and started playing into beliefs of “Humans and Giants should stay apart”

Sally’s parents assumed Wilbur had something to do with their daughters disappearance (being the only giant that went to her school, and because they have anti-giant views) but had no proof or logic to connect him to it. Since Sally’s body was never found, she’s still a missing persons, though the police are sure she’s dead with how much time has passed.

With Wilbur handling his guilt and feelings after, he kind of didn’t. He fell into a deep depression that he still struggles with when the main story is taking place, he developed a deep hatred for giantkind being among humans, he took up smoking, and overall wasn’t coping. Techno noticed and being the more emotionally mature one, he offered out his support to Wilbur, who never seemed receptive of it.

Tubbo’s views?

Oh boy, I love this ask specifically. Because, I have thought about this more than other aspects of the au. Tubbo is very suspicious of Tommy. They get along sure! But he’s always looking for Tommy to say the wrong thing, to slip up, to get too close. He’s very protective of Ranboo, as they’ve been best friends longer, and the way Ranboo and Tommy so easily click and get right along together makes Tubbo nauseous. His dad wasn’t good. But he went missing. The cops assured Tubbo that giants had some part in the matter, and Tubbo is very untrusting of them for that reason. And especially because Tommy has insider knowledge of the cult. While everyone celebrates Tommy and, honestly, treats him like he’s worth so much more than he is, Tubbo is wary and not to keen on him. Like exactly, how did Tommy know about this…?

The Devourer Cult

At this point in time, between all the characters I’m using up, I don’t exactly have a full list of who’s in the cult. It will be a part of the story at some point, hopefully, but right now not too much thought into this aspect lol,

Ranboo’s Views!

another fun one to answer, Ranboo is very interested in noms. He didn’t previously know the concept of them with terms and everything, but he feels- what we can just call a human equivalent to giant instincts. Basically he clingy.

Ranboo wants to be nommed, and so when Tommy treats him like another person, and not lesser and smaller, and with how funny he is and great to talk to- he develops a vore crush realll fast. It’s all platonic feelings, tho

This goes heavily into the story and main plotline, so I won’t really discuss any further LOL

Is there a human version of the Devourers?

The general feeling in giantkind is that they want to be among humans. Since so many of them possess storages, many giants feel naturally positive towards humans! That’s why the Devourer Cults are a thing: “weird outcast giants who want to kill humans through cruel and unusual means” kinda weird

On the flip side, humans! The general feeling of humans towards giants is very negative. Most humans don’t like giants and don’t want a mixed society. Typical is all I’m saying.

So no there’s no cults of anti-giant and anti-integration on the human side, because it’s so common and normalized of a belief that it’s just assumed the average human agrees.

i wanted to write this, but my brain isn’t thoughting, so im just gonna tell you <3

tommy makes his english teacher, phil, chocolate chip cookies because he associates them with his childhood. whenever he felt down, he always made choc chip cookies because they were the easiest for him to bake. he’s had the homemade recipe memorised from the day he could read. it’s as if it’s ingrained into the palm of his hand, or a photograph in his brain. he knows the exact right way to make them, where they feel and taste like home—and that’s how phil makes him feel. like he’s home. he’s not had one that’s really “stuck” since he was a kid, long before the foster system, but phil is there for him when others aren’t.

techno gets biscottis. it seems weird at first, really, but it’s a bit of a funny and a personal thing. tommy had overheard techno mention in general conversation that one of his favourite desserts was, weirdly, biscottis—his mother used to make them. they were her favourites, too, and apparently whenever phil would make himself and wilbur dessert, she would make herself and techno their biscottis (phil and wilbur find them “blasphemous” /j). weirdly enough? one of tommy’s foster parents had a deep love for biscottis, so much so that he learned how to make a very specific kind at a young age. unfortunately it’s not the same kind that techno’s mum used to make, but it still tastes like love.

for wilbur, tommy makes a batch of chocolate peanut butter brownies. another staple of tommy’s childhood, really, the only new thing is the peanut butter. he’s always enjoyed it, even though he has a huge intolerance for it, and he’s noticed that wilbur likes it a lot as well. wilbur’s a bit of an enigma to him, so tommy decided to make him a dessert that he’s only made a few times beforehand. it was a complicated process (really, how hard is it to add peanut butter to a recipe one already knows by heart?) but he thinks that he did a decent job. wilbur seems to think so, too.

AKA: tommy’s love language is gift giving, and he cares about sbi very, very much :(

I had to pull up how many stars are there and yes! I have heard it before! but I never saved it to any playlists :( however I do love idealism with nagashi and controlla being two of my favorites of theirs. never heard of mum child though. just listened to clover breath and it's very pretty!

omg wren modelbuses in my inbox i'm winning at life........ thank you so so much for the sweet compliments!!! it means so much <3333 you're awesome and i'm so glad to be followed by you, it's a big honor!!!!

as for favorite bird, i have two favorite types of birds, and they're both types i've owned. first, i absolutely adore green cheek conures.

this is what they look like. i fucking adore them. they are angels. they're the most snuggly, sweetest little babies you've ever seen, and they DANCE!!!! they bob their little heads to music!!! they love music!!! they do bite and they are loud, as many conures and parrots in general are, but they're not nearly as bitey and loud as sun conures, my other favorite birds. these are sun conures!

this is a picture of a sun conure. but not just any sun conure though. this is my baby!!!!! this is luca!!!! he's the second bird my family has owned (definitely the one we've had the longest) and he is my perfect little baby snuggle bug i love him so much he could kill someone and i would think it's adorable. sun conures are, like i said, more bitey and louder than green cheeks, but are still just as snuggly and just as capable of being wonderful loving companions. i cuddle with him for at least an hour every day because he just falls asleep on me and wants to cuddle up and it makes me cry every time he's so good i would die for him. everyone say hi to him he's so precious
