Lilies represent pure love, the nobility of feelings, but also marital union. After the death of someone, they are used to represent the purification of their soul before they reach heaven.

So now that we established that... What about we take a look at two lovely pics ? <3

It's interesting to see that Mathias has a few lilies of his own. If Elisabetha's probably represent all of what i mentioned above, Mathias' lilies might only represent his feelings for her, how deeply he cared, his union with her. But it's interesting to interpret them as some sort of "mockery" of the "purification of the soul before reaching heaven" part, knowing how that man ends up. <3 Dead ? Yes (kinda). Pure ? No. Heaven ? LOL. LMAO. <3 His lilies are also clean. Just normal, pure white flowers...

Now if we look at Dracula's lily, not only is there only one, but... it's bloodied. And while Mathias' lilies were "attached" to him, Dracula is actually holding his... by the tip of it's rod. As if he could let go at any moment, as if it would slip from his hand from the slightest wrong movement. It's a very delicate situation. And the representation of his current state of mine. This man is broken. He loved Lisa so deeply he regained his humanity back while with her, but everything shattered when she died. If the lily represents his love for Lisa and what was left of his humanity, things part of him is still hanging onto... you can be sure it fell off his hand the moment Trevor killed him. Grief and rage took place in his heart, turning a love that was pure into something unholy. Into an obsession, a fuel for his madness. And while he lost the flower, the blood remained. He's forever tainted, unable to escape his sadness and anger.

This is my interpretation, though I'm sure there can be more. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

(thinking about the way he convinced her he was still himself. his smile when she said his name. the way he said hello. the way he simply looked at her. how he had to act like everything was normal because he was so scared she was gonna leave him. the hurt when she asked him to change back, just exacerbating that fear even more. him trying to play it off as if he's totally fine with sending her home even though it's absolutely and utterly the last thing he'd ever want to do. his pride at finally getting her to smile, only to be immediately dashed when she snapped at him. the way he made the worst impression after that and scared the life out of her.

We did a spiderhero variant design of the Starwake System for their Spiderverse, also known as the Silkwake Cluster or Spiderstar !!! :3 In this universe, a celestial entity named the Red Spider Nebula had the misfortunate of crashing into Earth, landing at a park where Micah considered special and was taking a walk there one night. Curious to know what entered the world's atmosphere, Micah followed the trail to investigate the crash, only to end up getting bitten by the Red Spider Nebula. Not only had the Starwake System gained these spider abilities and features, but they can also create and manipulate cosmic gas and dust. The Starwake System is an Antigod in this verse as well, being known as a mutated Antigod while they are the only mutated Antigod to exist.

Please know I am restraining soo hard from using entirely all caps both for accessibility and so I can at least pretend to be capable of being sedate about him. But first. Ahem. Also also also I just. You know those mirrored-composition shots with him and naruto when they face off at the end of the operation take over konoha arc? Fully sent me into tears. I think gaara is the first character that is truly reached by naruto's rhetoric about how all-consumingly important love and connections are to improving oneself and that makes him SO important to the narrative. He's a character who was failed by everyone around him and also he himself did deep and lasting harm to people around him. But he learned that his world doesn't have to be one of misery and he learned that he can choose to do better than he had. Oh my god. Everyone look at these fucking pages and cry with me
