y’all mind if i ramble abt jokak for a hot minute
i scroll the jokak tags relatively frequently because i love those 2 boys to death but y’all we’re boutta have a fuckin problem here
saw this funny tweet on the tl today
and guess fuckin who
i have a big issue with the community’s general portrayal of jotaro and kakyoin in the context of a relationship. rambling’s too hard so i’ll condense all my [complaints] into an easy to read format
everything concerning kakyoin is just wacky and ooc
like why. why would you do this
he’s not some ‘uwu yaoi uke boi’ for everyone and their dog to project themselves onto
kakyoin is just as mature as Jotaro and only slightly less beefy and anyone who draws my boy like this is a coward and a liar
he’s polite! smart! talented! he’s also a feral gamer boy for fuck’s sake
fellas, effeminate does not equal overtly feminine. just a fun fact 4 you
idk who needed to hear this but. kak tops and it’s not up for debate
jotaro is also allowed to be more expressive than just copy-paste punk asshole but somebody’s prob said it at this point
everything reeks of 2007 seme/uke dynamics and boy howdy!! i already have issues with that
i’m genuinely tilted that the general jokak portrayal is just trying to make the ship fit a hetero mold. jfc leave these fuckers alone, ur not doing these characters any justice by conveniently warping them to fit some heteronormative standard
