Future!Damian, very ominously: Take care of yourself, Timothy *vanishes with a flourish of the map and cackling echoey laughter, leaving the family cookie-less and in shock.*
Alfred: …Did he have to take the plate?

i'll never forget the experience i had when the mass effect trilogy remastered came out and i owned it on steam and i was playing only to get messages from someone i haven't spoken to in YEARS and didn't even remember that was still on my friend's list. they proceeded to ask me questions about the game, which was okay, but then they started commenting on how fast i was completing each game like i was a new player.
they kept telling me shit like "wow you finished me1 that fast?! you should take your time!"
and i explained to them that this is not my first time ever playing me1. i've played it several times. i just don't like me1 and i don't like taking my time playing the game because i cannot stand the way the game works, but i want the story events to tie in my entire experience. and you'd think it'd stop there, but it didn't. it kept going. like they were dictating how i should play the game.

Knowing exactly why I’m fat personally doesn’t mean that others do. I know, through the process of self-reflection, research, and experiment, that I’m fat because I don’t eat enough food, and I don’t exercise enough because I don’t have enough energy to, because I don’t eat enough. So my body stores any food I DO get, because I’ve been in Famine Mode for decades.
Poverty, baby!
When I move into my friend’s condo, I’ll be able to start to repair the damage that a lifetime of poor eating has wrought. I’m not expecting to be thin, I’m not expecting to be any level of Media-Approved Sexy.
But I will feel better, have energy, and hopefully avoid the poor health that older generations of my relatives are currently experiencing, because I’ll be in a better position to eat regular meals.

SUGGESTION: Let go of trying to have it all.
ME: "but I want to: get my bachelor's/masters in business, and learn finance/investing, meditate daily, exercise...work long hours in order to be successful (because everything takes me longer), practice yoga/Tai chi, spend quality time with my 🐕 and family, have fun w/friends, clean/organize my house and office, always have laundry done, read 3 books, attend that webinar...WAIT 🛑
