ok while i’m ignoring the fact that i have a 9am lecture in six hours does anyone want to listen to me rant about nanowrimo
#so. last year i decided to do it very last minute with zero planning#it was not a good story but i had a lot of fun writing it and!! i actually finished it!!#this year i have planned a story. i have a plot. i have characters that i like. i have themes and settings and all that jazz#but i kinda just want to abandon it and work on an older project!! which is very annoying#the older project is part of a whole damn universe i’ve been developing the past few years. i am Obsessed obsessed with everything abt it#it’s very close to my heart and i really want to make something of it! and i don’t think i’m a competent enough writer to do it justice atm#also if i abandon my current nano project i highly doubt i will ever actually write it#which would be a shame because i like it! it’s a story i would have liked to read when i was like fourteen fifteenish#and tbh would still like to read now#i think actually writing it would be good practice! and i know i would enjoy it#when have i ever not enjoyed anything featuring magic time travel and lesbians. like honestly#i don’t think it’d take long for me to start writing the older project after nanowrimo either#i have a tendency to get stuck in brainstorming hell but i know how it ends. which makes everything much easier to sort#also if i don’t write something featuring the love of my life maria soon i think she will physically claw her way out of my brain#so there’s that <3#morganposting#nano 2023#now thats a scary tag to be using

A towel trailing behind her, Nott hops up onto the bench in front of him and pushes her dark hair out of her eyes. “Caleb?”
“Ja.” He focuses on her face, familiar and grounding.
You don’t have to,” she says. “I have enough coin for a private bath.”
He shakes his head. No sense in wasting gold on a secret he had failed to keep. “I— I don’t know why I’m still… They know. There’s no point in…”
“There’s nothing wrong with a bit of privacy,” Nott insists.
He bites his cheek. “The bath salts— they sting.”
He dug the gouges into his body, tore flesh from his arms; he did this to himself, consequences be damned. And now, he couldn't face them. A little bit of soap was too much. Hurt too bad.
Her eyes widen, and he watches as the last few days slot into place.
"You relapsed."
“Ja.” His gaze darts away, nails pressing against his palms.
"Did you take care of them?"
He thinks of the puffy red skin meeting the scabs, the thin ghastly yellow puss starting to crust up over the worst of them. He thinks of the sickening split and the resulting sludge of blood when the inflamed skin burst.
His jaw works. "Nein." The word scrapes against the back of his throat.

Black Mambo - Glass Animals: I think going against the higher-ups is a big part of Toby's story and personality tbh. This man has many opinions and he is not afraid to say them. Or blow a whistle or two.

So Much Love - Depeche Mode: I remember this one uquiz calling Toby sooooo much. This guy has so much love to give and does that all the time, he wants people to feel good, feel loved. Something something, also Dave Gahan saying this about the song: "It's like we have so much love here, we really do, but we're afraid to use it and access it." Based on what we know abt tow universe, I doubt it's better there, so showing vulnerability or doing something nice might indeed look "weird"/"unusual"/"not productive" and thus may even be looked down upon?? idk man.
Dying to Live - Poets of the Fall: honestly no matter what i said above?? toby doesn't like showing his true self to other people and gets, well, ashamed? scared? when forced to talk about himself or explain why he did something and all. He also tends to overthink everything so much :/ Which then has kinda lead to also kinda missing out on many things in fear sjfkkfkgnfkfn
Shine - Dave Gahan & Soulsavers: honestly just toby vibed song. also somehow relates to toby's optimism <3

Fear of a Blank Planet - Porcupine Tree: i was listening to songs that were in control at some point and idk why but the moment this was on i suddenly got?? so many long hair toby thoughts??? very fitting for him honestly. Obviously only some parts of the lyrics are fitting (which seems to be the case for most songs) but um. yeah. thank my obsession with control soundtrack for accidentally creating long hair toby.
After leaving the family he kinda got into this very...unhealthy kind of behavior in which he basically either spent his time working A Lot (or doing some side gigs bc no matter how smart you are i doubt a junior chemist's salary in udl would let you pay for your rent and necessities properly) or spent in clubs or sitting all alone at his apartment doing something or having sex. Additionally I'd mention how his substance use got v high, specifically smoking and drugs. I'm pretty sure corporations actually encouraged their workers to use them to get better productivity and all even on Earth, and while Toby didn't really care abt the whole 'be profuctive' thing, boy did he enjoy getting rid of feelings and having more focus.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

3. What fandoms do you write for?
currently, just BG3. in the past I've written pieces relating to elder scrolls (mostly Morrowind), star wars, and avatar: the last airbender though.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

Where possible I do! If people leave comments on older works or fandoms I've moved on from, I sometimes don't always get around to it.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Probably Considering the Weekend. Which makes sense given it's a Disco Elysium fic about mostly-closeted gay/bi cops in love, who will not be able to break their chains until they realise the police is a violent force of capital.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
A lot of my ATLA pieces have lighter endings given the source material is a lot lighter. The Eyeliner Incident and Follow the Rhinestones are both fics which I think could have had worse endings - but didn't. I wanted to be optimistic in both circumstances.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Luckily, no.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Not really?
I wrote exactly one piece of smut for Elder Scrolls (The Sword that Lies Between Them), which was a fairly chaste piece of lesbian smut all about two rival queens/political leaders in the 1st era circling around each other while one is about to be married off, politically, to a man she has complex, not entirely romantic feelings for. It was my first attempt at it and I think it shows.
Since then, I've tried to write smut for BG3, but it hasn't really ever materialised.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I don't write these, but I do frequently think about the Elder Scrolls/BG3 crossover where my weird dwarven Elder Scrolls OC Bthemetz gets yeeted out of her universe by the nautiloid -- which, tbh, doesn't feel that out there, Mindflayers are Aberrations that originate from Far Away in at least one iteration of D&D lore.
She'd get on with them swimmingly. She's a highly traumatised 3,000 year old ex-priest + ex-revolutionary who got turned into an automaton after dying in a revolution who is 1. technically undead, 2. had her heart literally stolen for lore/plot reasons, so she is shaking hands very firmly with astarion and karlach for various reasons. She'd have the funniest rivalry with gale given she hides much of her bullshit under the appearance of being an eccentric professor, but also she hates wizards on principle.
It would be a hoot. Nobody would read it. I am not writing something no one would read <3
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
No, luckily enough.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I've had a request for this once on a popular ATLA oneshot I made - but I don't think this was ever realised. I also had one ATLA oneshot turned into a podfic for charity.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
I've attempted this, but it never materialised into anything.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
f!Kagrenac/Bthemetz from my Morrowind dwemer fanfiction. First loves whose codependent 500 year old lesbian relationship turns toxic after the discovery of a deity's remains. Breaks down with an academic feud, treason, attempts at apotheosis, and the revelation they killed each other in a past life. Despite the fact that one sends assassins after the other to kill them, they're still utterly obsessed with each other. Literally nobody else is doing it like them.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
The Tragedy of Lady Noriko. This was an Ursa-centric ATLA fic that explored her familial relationships & relationship with the Avatar, and wanted to provide an 'alternate universe' Ursa who would not abandon her children - for better or worse. A Covid-19 project that ran out of steam once work picked up.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I think I have a few! My current favourite thing about my writing is that I think I have a very strong sense of narrative voice. I'm able to capture how different characters sound very well. I have historically (though less nowadays) been very good at poetic prose too.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Plots! Particularly mysteries, or plots that require lots of pieces. My writing is mostly embellished character pieces and I would like to tackle something where more happens one of these days. I also think I have issues pacing and knowing when to start/finish scenes.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?
I think it depends on the audience, the language, the length of dialogue, and the intent. It can sometimes be very meaningful, especially if one is trying to make a point about the importance of languages, languages as a means of bridging divides, and lack of language as something alienating, potentially, or isolating.
However I will say in a large number of circumstances I find it deeply pretentious. I was reading... a well-loved literary fiction classic by a well-loved London novellist recently, and the fact that the French dialogue was not translated drove me up the fucking wall. There is no reason not to provide translation unless you want to show off how clever you are.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
When I was nine years old I wrote a diary from the perspective of Jack Spicer from Xiaolin Showdown. I definitely didn't know what fanfiction was at that age, I just had an urge to create things using fictional characters. I didn't even use the internet back then, I remember this was back on 'the family computer' in 2003 or whatever.
If we're talking about published pieces, I put some (sigh) Eragon fanfiction up on ff.net back in 2010. I was a teenager, obviously.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
it's the Eyeliner Incident. It's a combination of interesting worldbuilding + fun characterisation + formally interesting without being overly wanky. I also wrote it in about five days, in time for my birthday (<3), and because I wrote it in such a short time, I didn't have time to resent it.
A Thesis: On Twelve Tones is close to my heart as well but I have a MUCH more mixed relationship with that in terms of pure writing quality even if I think it's one of the most significant pieces I've written in terms of developing as a writer.

Here's how I see it: Anyone can write the most disgusting thing they can think of. Make it as fucked up and illegal as their heart's content. But KEEP IT TO YOURSELF. Don't post it on the fucking Internet.
Obviously I think people who write shit like this need serious help but if they really want to get off to their sick fantasies nobody is stopping them as long as they keep it private. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever why their nasty shit should ever be made public. If it's really a "coping mechanism for trauma" as some say it is (which I highly fucking doubt) you're still being able to vent your trauma without traumatising others.
I'm totally w you, tbh, I agree 100%.
I think a lot of what people tend to MISS is that, even if you're doing it TO COPE, there's not actually a genuine reason why it should ever see the light of day - you wouldn't post self harm injuries, or brag abt vomiting or something else. so why is this suddenly different?
and on that same wavelength, unhealthy coping mechanisms EXIST. and if a coping mechanism ISN'T healthy, then you are ONLY going to make yourself worse off. genuinely. I would know, I used to have some VERY unhealthy coping mechanisms and it did fuck me up in the long term, and I had to actually put in the work to BE better. and that's what these people AREN'T doing, if they're allegedly doing it to cope, they AREN'T putting in the footwork to BE better, they're only fucking themselves up further.
and on top of that, as you said, when you make it PUBLIC, you are exposing victims and survivors to that shit and you ARE going to retraumatise them, bc even KNOWING that accounts like that exist CAN be retraumatising for people. and it DOES trigger people, even if they never read it, just KNOWING that it exists in certain spaces (eg the "noncon" tag) can be triggering on its own. and it CAN cause people to relapse and to be worse off.
there is also the fact that by MAKING THESE THINGS sexualised on purpose (be it incest, pedophilia or rape), it's directly removing actual victims from the equation; it's removing their VERY REAL experiences and their very real triggers completely. bc these ghouls like to say "CARE ABOUT REAL VICTIMS!!!" until real victims actually come forward and speak about how retraumatising, triggering and disgusting these things are. it's "WELL WHAT ABOUT VICTIMS!!!" until victims say that making real abuse into pornography is disgusting and triggering.
bc the fact that they can't seem to grasp is that your victimhood is NOT an excuse for turning trauma into pornography. your victimhood does NOT negate you being a gross piece of shit. regardless.
and it's the fact that they DON'T actually care abt victims and survivors, either; I've had my experiences, my trauma, called into question by these cunts bc of the times I've spoken against rape porn - and it's the exact same rhetoric that was used to PREVENT me from speaking up in the first place when said trauma happened.
nobody gives a shit abt real victims until we're some "haha, gotcha!" for gross cunts who like to make porn.
and even THEN!!! EVEN THEN!!! if you told someone "oh, I get off to rape porn lol" irl, they'd punch your fucking lights out. 🤷🏻♂️
to wrap it up, we have the "coping mechanism" argument again, to which I say: if it's a coping mechanism for you, why are you making comments abt it like "omg this is SO hot!!", "I want him to rape me 😫", "I want to molest him SO BAD"? why are you making fucking disgusting comments like that if you're "coping"? 🤨🤨

yeah. i wrote aged up characters once and got called disgusting like ok thanks you're the one who took the time to click on it and leave a comment. but ok.
i also was told very rudely that sirius was ooc in a fic for not being fanon sirius. again: ok. read the books.

Not any more, but the craziest crossover with the most specific-ass audience was a British Comedy RPF crossed with FFX, where David Mitchell is a summoner and Charlie Brooker and Robert Webb are his guardians. It's called Spira Infinita, and I never did end up finishing it lmao. Oops. Either way, I had a blast writing it and I still think it was fucking good, all 9 kudos of it!! God... this just made me remember I also wrote a brooker/mitchell crossover with mgs. I was on some shit back then I tell you what

Yes!! I co-wrote one of my fave Ashe/Basch/Vossler fics with my friend when we got assigned each other for an ff_land exchange - Five Moments of Desire. It was really fun, we had a great time!

GOD this is hard!!! I think Nero/Credo tbh, I never get tired of thinking about them, even as sadly underrated as they are. Also Sartauvoir/Basch is highly up there, I've never been seized with such an insane streak of inspiration for a ship. They got me in their clutches and no mistake!!
15. what's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I don't actually have much in the way of wips, but I do have 5k of a Sart/Basch AU where Sart channels his fenex summoning to bring Basch back to life, but it stalled a little due to a combo of scheduling for other things, other ships taking over my brain for a bit, and honestly the general lack of fandom for them? I have a few close friends I met because of the ship, but getting such low response to things is really demoralising and makes it hard to continue. I DO want to finish it for sure, but atm I am too gripped by other ships so idk if it'll happen.
16. what are your writing strengths?
I think dialogue for sure, and characterisation.
17. what are your writing weaknesses?
Fight scenes x_x Which is annoying, because I love them and have a lot of sparring/fighting related kinks!!! I persevere, but I hate every moment of writing them lol
18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Uhh nothing I've ever done! I think it'd be fine if you're fluent in that language OR if you have a trusted friend who is, who can give you actual sense-making sentences, but otherwise, do not!
19. first fandom you wrote for?
Baby's first fandom was handwritten Redwall/Discworld crossover in reporter's notebooks as a very young child, but my first fandom-fandom was ffvii, where I wrote a frankly terrible Reno/Vincent fic! And idek why cos I don't ship it at all? I think I just had a boner for both of them and wanted to get it out. It is still on ffn alas, but eugh.

Honestly I think it's my SartBasch series, Body Politics. It caters directly to my own id, and I think it's really good! I actually planned it out as a cohesive series AND actually finished writing it! Proud of myself lol. And I just.... *clenches fist* love those old men.....

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
i think it’s the third entry of the tides series, ornery, scandalous & evil. ngl pretty much all i had in mind was that i wanted it to be angsty and cram together as much characters as possible. i think it worked lmao. it also helped to set background on said characters too — like helaena and her kids, daeron and daemon. and the arrival of the very expected lucemond baby which was kinda ruined by luke. oopsie
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
weirdly enough, i think the grace of a rotting corpse is the happiest one. of course circumstances aren’t looking good, but both luke and aemond are tucked away in their happy little moments (which are kind of gross), and as long as alicent doesn’t know, they’ll be fine.
Do you get hate on fics?
lol the first time i posted omega aemond i got flooded with weird comments that suggested i was somehow disrespecting omega luke (??? 💀) but after that, everything was fiiiiiine.
Do you write smut? If so what kind?
i do, the freaky kind— mostly because i like building up ‘intense’ scenes that end up in smut one way or another lol. the smut itself is just smut, but i enjoy the gymnastics around it.

What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
oof. born from delicate violence maybe? listen, that fic was my baby. i loved it and i loved writing it last year, but as weeks went by i got into some bad thoughts and realized that this fic was written at an specific time of my life that i didn’t necessarily want to remember, and between the things to remember, was the inspiration for this fic. i still like it and i do think i still have the original doc for the finale, so perhaps i’ll post it one day, but i feel like posting an ending that’s not even properly edited just for closure will not make me feel right. i also don’t want to post anything that i consider lackluster, since i know a lot of people followed the story last year.
besides that, i had this lucemond thingy in the docs that was very angsty, during the dance era and all. i wrote an entire summary and started the first chapter. i finished and then i just didn’t like the idea anymore, so i left it there.
What are your writing strengths?
not sure about this one. i’d like to think dialogue, or maybe to set a scene. i’m very passionate about setting scenes lmao
What are your writing weaknesses?
definitely typos. also, i finish writing something, i read it a couple of times more to ‘edit’ then post it, so i feel like i don’t spend much time actually editing it ?? hopefully that makes sense. i don’t know how to write fluff without making myself cringe either, so it’s a constant battle
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
in fics that are not mine? i love it. for example, in hotd fics we see a lot of high valyrian stuff and i love when other authors use it as a creative resource. if translations are not available on the fic itself, sometimes i look up the word, sometimes just go with the context of the fic instead. the same with other languages; i don’t have a problem with it. now, writing it for my own fic is a whole different story. i don’t have the patience to add high valyrian in my fics, i prefer to dodge it or just refer to it instead lol. besides english i speak spanish, and if i feel a fic needs dialogue in another language, i’d choose spanish right away instead of trying to use a translator and butchering the poor language.

so far, my absolute favorite is mean bad dog. i love aemond’s clinginess and instability. i love luke’s moral dilemmas and how he tries to fix it all in his head. yum

I used to respond to every comment I got. But not anymore. It's just too difficult. It's like texting, which is hard enough for me to have the mental bandwidth to do. I will often respond to a comment that's longer and very engaging or if someone is genuinely confused and asking a question. But I do read every comment I get.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Uhm... I've been told all my fics are angsty 🙃 But I personally think the saddest ending would be either The Great Escape or Season's Greetings (Hi, I'm Your Son). Both had a sort of bitter-sweet ending where you're so sad for the character(s) but also hopeful that things will be okay. Or I guess maybe Versions of the Truth is a good contender too.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Yikes... uhm, what is happiness?? Maybe The Life Giver or Yule Spirit??
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Yes. Of course. Mostly on As It Should Be. She gets slut shamed a lot because she had more than one boyfriend and she slept with them. It's a constant annoyance for me. I've wanted to take the whole story down multiple times because people will get so intense about it.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
For sure. It started pretty tame but we've definitely moved into explicit territory. I only really write smut for Harry Potter though. A lot of my stories for other fandoms are family-centric and don't really have romance in them.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
God, I love a crossover. The only one posted is a one-shot, Harry Potter and the Addams Family that I did on a joking whim. But I have so many others in the works. I have two "Harry Potter is Tony Stark's son" stories. A "Harry ends up in Gotham" story. I think my favourite right now is "Peter Parker is Lois Lane's nephew" story. I really want to finish that one and post it. But my craziest crossover I think would be by Peter Parker crossover with the tv show Chuck. Peter Parker is the intersect. It's fantastic.

Uhm, I have a million WIPs so I'm just going to stick with the ones I have posted. I'm not sure if I'll ever finish Prophecy Child. I'd like to, but I have no idea what I'm going to do. I had a plan and then changed direction so many times and now I'm just dead in the water with it.

I think it's my characterization, but I get most complimented for my worldbuilding, so probably that. I think I just highly value characterisation, especially for fanfic. It's extremely important imo
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Politics. Meaning, I sometimes choose plotlines that I don't actually want to write. I hate writing politics. I think a big weakness for me is also just follow through. I have a hard problem finishing fics. I post even less now because I don't want to keep posting things that I'll never finish.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I hate this. I'm sorry, but I really do. I don't know Russian or Spanish. When I'm reading a work, am I supposed to google translate as I go?? Sometimes the translation is at the bottom of the chapter so I'm supposed to scroll up and down? I'm sorry, but no. I hate it. When I'm writing, if the pov I'm writing in knows that language, I will write the words in English in italics and simply say after, "they said in French" or whatever. If the pov I'm writing doesn't speak that language and doesn't know what is being said, then neither does the reader. This is such a pet peeve of mine.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Doctor Who! It's under a different name, but I'm pretty sure the stories I wrote there and for a DW/Supernatural crossover are still popular on FFN.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
Without a doubt, Stealing Magic. I am still blown away by my own writing in that fic. The worldbuilding, the characters, the PLOT. I worked on that story for literally like three years. I love it so much. It's my baby and I'm so damn proud of it.

actually im relatively new to the fandom & i have found you to be one of the people who has occasionally reblogged from me despite def not knowing me beforehand. idk what that anon is talking about tbh
Yeah idk I reblog nearly all of the art on my dash and occasionally check tags and my for you page,, and I rb a lot of the stuff from there too. And I’ve really tried to make an effort to share newer people on Tumblr’s work ever since people starting evacuating Twitter,, So I don’t really feel insecure about what they’re accusing me of, but honestly I don’t think they believe what they’re saying either.
They’re just a very angry troll trying to pick on every post I make, presumably to make me feel bad or like I’m widely hated maybe??? but god, it’s so clearly been the same exact person behind this anon for months and they’re just one creepy person who’s got a hate boner for me and like… Yeah, there’s no point to even arguing or trying to point out what they’re saying is wrong bc they’re not making it with the belief that they’re right. At least, I really really highly doubt they are, because idk how someone can look through the constant stream of rbs on my Tumblr and accuse me of not sharing other people’s work.

What do you think about everything happening in season 5 so far? Rosalind is back to get her revenge in my opinion, The Rookie instagram account is now following Kanoa and I think I saw that Rachel is coming back to LA? Not a lot for chenford in my opinion.
hi! i am just going to say now: i'm not really in it for speculation this far out from a season, especially when we have no information to even look at. i'd be happy to chat in DMs if you have questions, but overall...there's nothing to spec about yet, and taking other people's speculation (aka, what you see in the tags/on twitter) as fact is going to ruin your hype for the new season. that's the last thing i want for any of us, so just...chill and enjoy the hiatus! there will be plenty of time to speculate leading up to september 25, i promise.
just to cover our bases quick tho:
rosalind could be coming back (signs point to yes on this one) but if she is i kinda highkey doubt it is going to be some revenge plot. i'm sure it will be calamitous, but like...she's in a maximum security prison isolated from the entire population and after doing what she did in season 2, i'm sure they keep her under a hell of a lot more restriction. the rookie has always been realistic about crime – i highly doubt we are going to see her go full cartoon villain (e.g., a full blown escape, using chris as a new protege, etc.). that being said i think opening up that storyline could be really interesting emotionally, and i'm excited to see where they go with it if that's the case!
...ok! i don't see why this is news or indicative of how long he'll be on the show tbh. as someone who has worked in social media...they followed him for ease of access 😂 kanoa posts about being on set when he is and the rookie social media team usually reposts it to their story. same with shawn, same with most of the actors. if they follow him, they don't have to go out of their way and find his posts. i would not take that to mean anything about chris, chris/lucy, or the show – as i said a lot last season: the social media team and the show's creative team are two completely separate entities, they do not make decisions together, and social is not a reflection of story.
i don't know why anyone has decided rachel is coming back...it's just speculation and tbh, unfounded speculation. i genuinely would not care if this happened, but just to really squash it: i just checked jasmine matthews' imdb and she is currently filming a movie in houston, so i highly doubt she's doing anything with the rookie right now. also: i believe this came up because alexi said a season 2 storyline would be coming back into play. rachel is a person who carried no real storyline, and if anything from season 2 is coming back, i'd put my money on rosalind and her very large storyline over tim's now ex-girlfriend.
anyway! last thing: please try to remember going in to the new season for your own peace of mind: other people's spec is speculation, not fact. spec can be fun, but when you base all your expectations around it and they inevitably are not met by the show...your disappointment is partially on you and you could've just been out here vibing, ready for whatever story the show wants to tell.

I include Spanish in fics with Serennedy. But in Dragon Age I would use Italian or Latin in place for things that the Tevinters didn't have words for in canon. So I am pretty comfortable writing in other languages when needed. I know just enough to get by.

Uhhh this is embarrassing, but Supernatural followed by Sherlock. I have lost basically all fics for those two fandoms. I'm not sure if it was on purpose or not.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written
I have put the majority of my heart into Caged. I highly recommend you read it. But so far, my favorite is my old man yaoi.

Hey regarding your poll which I voted on I wanted to say somethings if that's alright. The only reason I'm sending an ask vs saying this in my tags is bc I have ALOT of mutuals that don't feel the same.
Anyway, yeah I totally feel myself pulling away. I feel like lately she's been consistently cash grabbing and there's really no need. Release a normal version and a deluxe and be done. The whole eras tour movie being rented was kinda in distaste when she has to know that we wanted to own it. Girl you are a billionaire???
I get that she was excited at the Grammys but idk being in the music industry as long as she has been it was in very bad taste to announce TTPD. It took away from the night. She won at the VMAs and didn't get overly excited to announce til Midnight (which I get cause the promo and title but still). It's in poor taste to announce an album at a prestigious award show like the Grammys.
And I get this isn't fully her but I'm so tired of seeing her relationship all over the place. I don't care about her relationship, tbh I have thoughts on Travis and they're not good lol. Even if it was someone else I wouldn't care. If she's happy cool happy for her but I don't need every social platform oversaturated with Taylor and Travis and what's going on between them.
My last thing is this: We all had bad relationships, we all have relationships that we wanted to work so bad and then it doesn't. We heal and grieve. None of us will ever know the full story of what happened between her and Joe but they way she's acting it seems very much "HEY DO YOU SEE? DO YOU SEE ME JOE? IM GREAT!" He doesn't care.
This is all a winded way of saying that I am drifting away from her. I am excited for ttpd though
I agree with with you on pretty much everything. Except for the last part. I highly doubt she cares about what Joe thinks lol.
She is now a capitalist queen. The tour movie ticket prices, renting it, different versions of the tour movie, having each album version have a different song instead of having a deluxe option with all extra songs
Very poor taste to announce TTPD at the Grammys. Like why did she have to flaunt this in front of her peers? They all looked so confused and it felt awkward with the forced clapping. She wasn't at an event where her fans could clap and actually care.
I do not care for the Taylor and Travis relationship. I find that man to be so unattractive and he has an ugly, volatile personality. It is annoying that social media plastered them everywhere, but that is not entirely her fault. The media know she sells and that people will click on articles with her name on it.

First of all, these are how tags work. If someone wants to filter any word, phrase, ideation, image related to a topic they have certain tags to help them. I do this because I don't want to trigger someone accidentally.
Second, what you say is utter bs. These tags people kinda grow used to and they don't come at them as a jumpscare, like, for example this word would. And I highly doubt anyone actually minds me making rather sure I'm not triggering anyone and play safe with my posting, especially on a blog like this. I rather not actually type out what happened to me or how I'm feeling as that, in fact, would actually be a trigger. Still I wanted to express this, I couldn't keep it down. This blog is my safespace and venting here feels like I'm actually being understood while surrounded with things that make me feel safe and in the headspace.
But all I can really advise is come off anon and show other agere people who to block. And try to stand out and tell others they shouldn't be tagging their posts however they see fit and what they think is the best and safest.
I'm gonna turn off anons now. Guessed maybe someone wanted to request some pngs/banners/headcanons and would feel safer that way, but I won't let my safespace invaded by idiots like you.
