I am vibrating at such a normal speed over thinking about Eddie and Steve at a party and it's either winding down or it's so large their corner of it is being ignored, and they're playing one of those silly little party games - spin the bottle or truth or dare or 7 minutes in heaven, you know the type of game where someone's definitely going to have to kiss someone else because of the game - and one of them spins or gets dared and they're going to have to kiss the other one, and every instance of this I've seen so far they are waiting to POUNCE on this opportunity but what I want instead is the opportunity to knock and the moment to press down on them, only for one of them to back up and say no and say they can't-

"Not like this."

and I don't even know who I want to watch say it or whose POV I want to be in, but I know I want to watch the fallout, I want to see them NOT kiss and have to deal with a quiet, broken "not like this" lying between them because the other one hadn't even realized it would mean ANYthing, much less mean that much, and the WITNESSES to this because none of them realized it, either, and it's supposed to be a fun silly little game so you can secretly kiss your silly little crush or whatever. How does the one left standing handle knowing that no matter what they say now, it's going to seem like it's only being said because of that not like this?

something i love about niall lynch (a sentence rarely uttered) is that he is almost Always referred to as niall lynch, even by his sons because he is portrayed and viewed by his sons as this sort of mythical, folk hero. he doesn’t exist as niall. he exists as niall lynch. and it takes until greywaren, for niall lynch to turn back into niall, the man not the myth. because niall lynch was never just niall lynch, dreamer of dreams, keeper of secrets, he was niall lynch, father and son, a man who could not bear to keep his own happiness.

how i want the scene to go;

so kit and ty are knackered after the whole day of searching for livvy and ty is really starting to feel unwell as he hasn’t been with her for way too long.

they're exhausted and fall asleep together and ty has like the best sleep he’s ever had (they cuddle bc i know they do), and kit would too if he wasn’t so worried about ty. he spends all night tossing and turning and checking up on him, making sure his temperature is alright, that he’s not burning up or shivering. and although he promised ty that they would search for livvy the following morning, he begins to slowly and quietly get up. he decides that ty is too weak to continue searching and that it would be better for ty if he did this alone. he will bring livvy back and help ty. this time he will not screw up.

BUT as kit is leaving, ty wakes up. he realizes what’s happening and confronts kit. he tells him that this is what kit does when things get difficult, he just runs. and kit is so taken aback that he just stares but then ty starts rambling about how he’s “not going to let him leave again” and “i’m not leaving your side, kit” and "we're in this together" and suddenly they’re kissing and-
