Mifune is so funny like hes a guy probably in his late 20s or early 30s. he's got an adopted daughter, he just generally likes kids and wants to keep em safe and honestly shoulda just gone into teaching or somthin but decided on being a samurai. Btw, one day Keith off handedly makes a vine reference or something (he’s learned of a few through osmosis. It’s mostly Shiro’s fault) in front of Romelle. She has no clue what he’s talking about and Keith is not ready to open the can of worms that is Lance and Pidge inevitably getting involved to teach Romelle pop culture references.

He tries to distract her a few times (he’s literally pointing at random shit saying “look over there!”) before head in hands he has to explain what the Christian god and anime are. He’s very tired
