This is silly question, obviously and blah blah blah, I know Winchester is a gun, but given the fact that there's a whole 15 season show with two Winchester brothers, I have to ask: would they have been helpful to this story?

“Winchester,” says Dean. “Dean.”
“Nice to meet you,” she says, smiling slyly. “I guess I wouldn’t mind adding a Winchester to my armament.”
“We wouldn’t mind having you around either,” says Sam, sheathing his bloodied machete.
It was impressive; she was a whirlwind when it came to taking out vamps. Strong enough that a stake to the heart did it.
“We oughta team up.”
