He got comfortable before climbing into bed with you. He made a small pile of clothes on the floor as he just stripped down to his boxers. "EJ?" Your voice was muffled by his skin but with not much noise, he heard it loud and clear.

he never questioned it (if you had reasons, you would share them when you were ready: he sure as hell wasn’t going to force you anytime soon), he merely asked you what you needed for him to do. he kept a closer on the weather, carried a spare set of noise-canceling headphones on him to help drown things out if you had forgotten your own, and learned the ways you wanted to be distracted.

sometimes it meant lazy nights in your apartment where he just held you in his arms. he’d trace circles onto your skin, talking in a low voice if the rain wasn’t loud enough for you to need headphones--only speaking loud enough that his voice would drown it out, and low enough that it was still soothing. everyone knew how minghao would dote on you, but he’d only get this mushy when the two of you were alone.

he took care of you without an ounce of judgment to be found: just the way he always told you you deserved to be loved and cared for. even if he couldn’t physically be there with you sometimes, he sent you things you’d like. videos he knew you’d enjoy, or he’d update songs onto a playlist for you (things that reminded him of you and that he thought you’d enjoy). he’d call you, too, if that was what you needed.

minghao’s love was something quiet but burned bright, and he’d always be right there as soon as he could to hold you when you needed it and distract you, too.

Minor explanations for some things: I fucked up writing scrappy doo in pen and I have to live with that burden even though I could've corrected it with like white out or something. I'm lazy. I have a Pavlovian reaction to hearing jason griffith in English dubs where I point at the screen wojack style and say out loud "omg it's sonic the hedgehog??? in yugioh?!?!" Story time? About my dreams? It’s more likely than you think.

Anyways remember that Macet, Daro, and Telle dream I had?! My brain did a remix while I was awake (yay for daydreams) that added Boheeka. Which is fine but!!! I ended up married to Akellan 💜💜💜 but apparently he was friends with Madred and liked to be cuckholded sooooo there was an ‘interrogation’ that used him and a bunch of his glinns(?). But that was after the free use party at Macet’s which had some of my friends and the guests were: Daro, Telle, Boheeka, Tekheny Gamor, Dukat (obviously 🤣🤣 because I was rereading your whole lizard list), and Madred. Anyways one of my friends ended up going home with Tekheny (I can’t spell I’m sorry) after. And also banged Ari! So yay! And another ended up with Madred. I got to ‘interrogate’ her first as a way to see if I wanted to join. But anyways we apparently got so good at it there was a real one with an actual suspected traitor! Don’t worry, Akellan got in on all of the ‘interrogations’ he just had to wait his turn for a very long time.

And then as I was falling asleep I had a pon farr dream with Taurik? There was a center unmated or Vulcans who’s partners couldn’t help for health or travel reasons went to and I got paired up with him.

Apparently my brain somehow meshed these together while I was dead asleep into me being somewhere deep in Cardassian space with a gul who had absolutely broken me. I blame stayneurotic’s keevan and the spy part 4 (which popped on my feed, I’ve only read part 4) because I read that during lunch. I WOKE UP about this one! Legit woke up, went back to sleep and continued it. Idk how because that never happens but it was AMAZING. 11/10 would recommend insert Chef’s Kiss emoji here times 36.

I’m not gonna like I read the mirror fic with Dukat 3 times yesterday and Bird of Prey twice. Why do I feel like Dukat insinuates Damar would be down to participate again in activities involving the reader??? I think it was my horny brain😭😭😭😭

BOKUTO X READER VALENTINES DAY FLUFF

You’ve been with Bokuto long enough to have mildly convinced him that you don’t really care about the extravagance of Valentines day. You don’t want a huge box of chocolates, to which half of them you don’t even like, or a bunch of flowers that will be dead in a week.

It’s not that you don’t appreciate them, you absolutely do...but it doesn’t feel necessary anymore.

He makes you feel loved each and every single day.

You don’t need cheesy red and pink decorations hung up in the living room or an expensive dinner at a restaurant where you feel out of place.

It just feels like way too much when you’ve already got everything you want and need by simply having him in your life.

It’s more than enough already.

Bokuto looks down at the last page of his ‘special love coupon book’ and grins to himself.

He’s old enough now to know that it’s kind of ridiculous but he’s given one to you for every single holiday or special occasion you’ve spent together and though you sometimes roll your eyes at what he believes are quite frankly generous rates on the slips, you never fail to smile when you see it.

And..you’ve even cashed a few in, though after the first time he made you promise not to actually tear them out again, they were in fact, unlimited.

He’s satisfied with it when he’s done with the design, this year he’s beefing it up a bit and having it actually printed out so he wanted to make sure the colors weren’t overwhelming or anything.

Once that’s complete, and submitted to the print shop...he’s kind of at a loss.

He knows you don’t want anything big. You’ve more than made that clear, though he’s been given contradictory advice by a couple of his teammates.

Still...he knows that he knows you better than anyone and that you wouldn’t be secretly expecting more.

The issue then becomes that he still wants to celebrate the day with you, even if it’s a lowkey thing with just the two of you.

He makes up his mind that he’s going to get some of your favorite food and drinks and a hardback copy of that book you’ve been wanting and he can still feel like he’s celebrating the love he has for you, and that you feel it too...without overwhelming you.

Yeah, that sounds good…

He texts your best friend three days in advance, after setting many, many reminders on his phone and asks if they’ll take you out to coffee or a movie on him, a secret between the two of them. They of course love him and how affectionate he is with you so they agree quickly and he sends the money over before he forgets.

The morning of, you have a nice lazy morning in bed before you bring up the friend date, he makes a big act of begging you not to go but just before you change your mind and cancel, he gets flustered and says he should probably get his workout in early so the two of you can spend the evening together.

You find it a little suspicious given the fact that Bokuto is about as subtle as a sledge hammer and a terrible terrible liar, but you trust that he won’t ask for too much and you put it behind you and go on with your day.

As soon as you’re out of the house he grabs every pillow and comforter he can find and texts someone he knows isn’t busy today and grins when he answers on the first ring.

“It’s just a fort, man. What’s so hard about that. You tie a couple sheets to your ceiling fan and throw up some fairy lights and bam, you’re done and everyone is happy.” Kuroo answers after Bokuto explains why he wants him over.

Sure, building a for looks easy, but ‘ol Bo has learned his lesson and he doesn’t do any kind of large scale (or small scale) project without supervision anymore.

“Just get over here man. I don’t have a lot of time...and what are fairy lights? Y’know what just stop and get those or whatever you think we’re gonna need and I’ll pay you back.”

“No...no what’s the real reason you’re asking for help. Besides the fact that you’re decoratively challenged?”

“I AM NOT! SOMEONE TOLD ME I COULD BE A MODEL LAST WEEK!” he calls out before he realizes he does still need Kuroo’s help.

He ignores Kuroo’s response and continues on. “Anyway, uh,” he rubs his neck, not wanting to admit the truth but Kuroo is kind of like an evil genius sometimes. “I may or may not have sworn an oath that I wouldn’t do any umm projects without help.”

Kuroo immediately starts barking laughter against his ear.

“Stop being such a jerk and get over here dude, I’ve only got a couple hours!”

“Wh-what’s the-” Kuroo is still slightly wheezing from laughter. “What’s the penalty.”

‘Oh no, not telling. I’m hanging up. Be over here in less than 25 minutes or I’ll tell Kenma you broke his lucky switch, bought a used one on a street corner and then filed the edges down to make it look ‘authentic’.”

“Fuck. Ugh fine.”

“Yeah, that’s what I thought.”

Bokuto hangs up the phone with a smirk splayed on his lips.

He makes a resolute promise to himself to never let Kuroo find out the consequences of not keeping his promise is that he can’t have kisses or cuddles for a full twenty four hours.

What can he say, he’s weak..okay. He’s weak for you.

Kuroo gets there after he’s scheduled the takeout delivery and sloppily wrapped both your coupon book and the one you were itching to read.

He defends his blanket choices with his life but Kuroo insists on using these plain white ones he bought because it would ‘look more romantic’. He rolls his eyes but lets him do what he wants because if it’s one thing he does trust, it’s Kuroo’s eye for design.

“Ooh I forgot you had these ceilings...this is going to look awesome, dude.”

“Good, now what do you want me to do…”

“Nothing, I got this part.”

“Nooo, I want to do it myself,” he says, resisting the urge to stomp his foot. “It won’t mean as much if you just do it all for me.”

“Y’know you might not be the brightest but you’re a good man, Bokuto.”

“Eh?” he says, because Kuroo rarely ever compliments him sincerely.

“Nothin’ man, just get the clothespins.”

They work together and in less than an hour it looks, well...it looks fucking amazing he thinks.

He’ll give up just this once and say Kuroo was right, the white sheets look pretty cool and the little lights they strung up are pretty neat too.

It looks super romantic so he hopes you like it.

He kicks Kuroo out before he can invite himself over, Kenma has a special v-day stream going on and he wants to crash it from a different ip, whatever that means. Well either way he turns him down and swears the secrets he has will yet again, stay between the two of them.

Now he just needs to wait for you to get home.

When your friend texts that they’re about to drop you off, his heart starts beating out of his chest and he gets super excited.

He waits for you at the door, stepping outside when he sees their car pull in and softly closes it behind him.

“He yells out a greeting that could probably shake the ground if it was another decibel louder but you love how excited he gets so it doesn’t bother you.

You make your way over to him with a skeptical look on your face as he starts nervously rubbing at his neck.

“Why are you outside?” you ask and there’s a pink tinge to his cheeks that you’re pretty sure isn’t from the cool weather.

“Umm Happy Valentines Day?” he says, an awkward chuckle quickly following the words.

“Kotaro...what did you do? Why are you standing outside?” you ask, immediately concerned about the state of your home.

“I swear it’s not bad. I just wanted to surprise you so...please?” he asks, a hopefulness in his eyes that you can’t bring yourself to squelch no matter how worried you feel.

“I mean I said I didn’t want anything big but I guess if you want-” you stop mid sentence, breath stuck in your throat when you see your transformed living room.

He’s moved all the furniture except for the couch and the tv stand and it’s gorgeous. The lights twinkle a little in the darkness and you feel the irresistible urge to kiss his face.

So you do.

He never objects to kisses.

“This is really nice… I mean it. I’m sorry I almost ruined your plan or if I made you feel like you couldn’t do anything. I don’t ever want it to be that way. I just also don’t need you to make a big fuss,” you say, trying to be a little logical about it, but your heart is definitely thumping in that cheesy romantic way.

“How about a little fuss…”

“A little fuss feels nice.”

You lay back on the couch, you read to him from your book and share music playlists that quietly add to the ambiance of your conversation. He coaxes you into some weird verbal games that he’s played with Akaashi over the years, because it was something he needed to bring him out of his shell a little and you end up laughing until your belly hurts.

The takeout arrives on time and you enjoy the food and Bo loves to feed you small bites of your favorite stuff, so you let him.

He tells you to unwrap your gift and you feel fondness and warmth rush over you when you see the handmade coupons, this time even more beautifully drawn out.

It’s really easy to see why you’re so in love with him.

Even in the in between moments.

He’s always thinking of you and always wanting to be the best version of himself for you.

I wrote like an extra 600 words cause a lot of it was bokuto and kuroo interaction lol my bad but I hope you enjoyed it!

This is a tough question omg. I love to read older books mostly. classic literature, true crime, noir and southern gothic are my fav genres tho. Basically I like really dark books with creepy subject matter which shouldn't really be a shock lel

I'm too lazy to make a goodreads and I haven't had much time to read lately bc I've been travelling/doing tourist shit/spending most of my free time w my bf but recently I managed to find an English bookstore in Krakow and I picked up these:

I'm sorry at the pretentious selection lmao. currently I'm reading the Dostoevsky book and it's fucked up but rly good

Before I left home I read Severed: The True Story of the Black Dahlia Murder and it's probably the best true crime novel I've ever read (tho it does take some liberty w facts imo) but if you like the crime stuff I've been posting about it's a very haunting look into Elizabeth Short's life in 1940s Hollywood before she was murdered and cut in half

On the plane to Europe I read The Killer Inside Me by Jim Thompson and it's a v disturbing 1952 pulp noir that tells the story of a psychopathic cop murderer from his perspective I highly recommend it. But tbh I got weird looks from fellow passengers near me for reading it

He had never been more excited and wanted to puke more than he did as he waited in the church, the final preparations for this momentous day being made.

He wiped his hands on his suit as he turned his head back to look at his best man and twin brother, Saeran.

Saeran gave his brother a reassuring nod and a smile.

The music began to play, and Saeyoung snapped his head back towards the end of the church.

When he laid eyes on Mc, he had to wipe at his eyes immediately.

She was absolutely, breathtakingly stunning.

He felt like there was a real angel making her way towards him.

He was so focused on her, that he didn’t even realise the flash of V’s camera.

When she was finally in front of him, they joined their hands together as Saeyoung said, “You look incredible.”

As the ceremony went on, all he could do was look at the woman that woud soon be his wife.

It was time to say the vows, and Saeyoung had been planning what to say to her since the night she agreed to marry him.

“Mc, first off, I want to apologise about something. I’m sorry that we’re not at the space station.” The room erupted in laughter as he continued, “For most of my life, I believed that I wasn’t worthy of even a glance from someone like you. I believed that I would neve be able to love and that I would be forever apart from my brother. But then you showed up. You taught me how to love others and love myself. You united me with my brother. You are by far the most amazing and talented woman I have ever met and although I can be difficult, I want you to know that I love you with all that I am.” After a series of claps, Mc began her vows.

“Saeyoung, you have showed me an entirely different part of the world. I always dreamed of love as a child but I could never imagine how happy falling in love with you would make me. Everything about you makes me happy, your smile, your laugh, you hugs and kisses and most of all, I love your compassionate and funny personality. You helped me without noticing it, you did it by being around me. I love you, Saeyoung. Oh by the way, I’ll settle for our anniversary being in the space station.” Another round of laughter and applause permeated throughout the church.

It was finally time to seal the deal as the priest began to say, “Do you Mc vow to take Saeyoung as your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, for better and for worse until death do you part?”

“I do,” She replied, her eyes filling up with tears of joy.

“And do you, Saeyoung, vow to take Mc as your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for better and for worse until death do you part?”

“I do,” He said, his smile shining.

“Then, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, I now pronounce thee husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”

Saeyoung pulled Mc close to him and joined their lips in a gentle kiss.

Everyone in the church clapped and V captured the moment for them to cherish.

After the wedding ceremony, and the photo shoot, everyone headed to the venue.

However, it didn’t go the way most after parties went.

No love making ensued following the party, just Mc and Saeyoung half dressed and passed out on the bed after drinking too much alcohol.

But then again, only family and close friends were invited.

He took deep breaths as he felt Saeyoung’s grip on his shoulder.

When the music began to play, Saeran searched for Mc at the end of the aisle, needing her to help him stay calm.

Even if he wanted to, he couldn’t take his eyes off her.

She was stunning.

The way her dress fit her awoke desires in him that would have to wait until nightfall.

When she reached the altar, she took his hands. Mc knew how nervous he was.

As the time came, Saeran made his vows. “Mc, to start off, I’m sorry if this is short. You know how bad I am at this stuff. But, I will take this moment to say thank you. Thank you for saving me from myself and for sticking through even when times got hard. I love you, Mc, and nothing will never, ever, change that.” Everyone in the room was touched by Saeran’s short but heartfelt words.

“Saeran, I’m so proud of you and so proud to be with you. You have come so far and have made me the happiest woman alive thus far. I love you so much and I cannot wait for the years to come.”

After that, all Saeran could think about was being able to have her to himself.

“Do you, Mc, take Saeran as your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, for better and for worse until death do you part?”

“I do.”

“And do you Saeran, take Mc as your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for better and for worse until death do you part?”

“I do.”

Saeran and Mc were both quick to kiss, smiles on both their faces pulling them apart.

After all the photos and the venue, it was late and Saeran carried his bride to the bridal suite of the luxurious hotel Jumin and Jihyun had paid for.

When he closed the door with his foor, he lay Mc down on the bed and hovered over her body, taking in the sight of his wife.

“I’ve been waiting a very long time for this, Mc.”

Mc pushed him away and asked that he unbutton her dress.

Saeran was very happy with the result of helping her take off her dress. It revealed an amazing lingerie set that caused the fire within him to roar.

They were immediately back on the bed, as Saeran attacked her mouth.

He claimed every bit of her as his own. His hands were trailing down her body, resting on her ass and he squeezed.

Hard.

The moan that erupted from Mc had him pulling at her underwear and pushing her bra up, freeing her breasts.

He disconnected their lips and he began to kiss and bite down her neck.

He trailed his hand towards her lower regions and grinded into her, showing her his needs.

And she was well aware of what she was in for by the end of the night.

I am slightly envious of your zhongli lol I've had so many people say his shields are super useful + his character is just. so nice hhhhh, but I joined after his rerun haha. CONGRATS ON AYAKA also you sound very op even if artifact farming is unkind,,, everyone ive met who's got either ningguang, zhongli, or ayaka as dps do Huge damage in domains and I'm constantly in awe

you did not ask (and i'm sorry if this ticks you off hsdkl) but the lazy yanfei build strategy is to just slap some wanderer's troupe artifacts on her and she'll become a beast (or at least powerful enough to get the job done lmao). as a yanfei main i must promote her lollll she's the most grind-free of all my characters because i've never successfully completed the crimson witch domain and am dreading the day I finally have to (if hu tao comes home I will gladly suffer for her though)

HFGJDHFJDHF zhongli’s shield is definitely very useful! i’m not a genshin character builder expert by any means, but i find that he’s still able to do a good job of protecting all of my other characters even though i really haven’t spent any time building HP on him (which is what his shield scales off of). inazuma is a bit of a different story, but even then i typically am still able to hang on to life by my last 3k HP so i would say that zhongli still tried his best there and i’m proud of him!! you’re SO RIGHT about his character being super nice, even aside from basic components of his character like his personality and backstory etc etc, i love all of the cultural references that zhongli has!

thank you for the congrats!! i could go off on several tangents about how much i love ayaka, but in a briefer note she’s so sweet and she’s the love of my life. ALSO I’M SO FLATTERED THAT YOU THINK I’M OP (hopefully i will be one day)!! right now, ningguang is most likely my best damage dealer, and zhongli and ayaka are both getting there! funnily enough, i spent around a week or so during the summer this year depopulating the ponds of mondstadt and liyue of koi fish so that i could buy that fancy new polearm from inazuma for zhongli and boost his ult damage, and the entire ordeal made me so sick of fishing that i haven’t really fished at all since then and his polearm is like either R1 or R2 right now whdfjhdfjhsd (also it’s literally level 60 while zhongli himself is level 90……..i haven’t farmed ascension materials for it either……..childe lied to me when he said fishing was fun, every time i see a koi fish now i go into fight or flight mode)

Ohh yeahhh I always made it so my sims' get promoted very quickly (so they get more days off and better pay), which ultimately meanta lot of practice of like two-three necessary skills and ignorance of the all others. and when my sims did reach success I just. Began teaching them different stuff. Making collections, travelling, y'know. My favourites were always writing and guitar because it's what I want (and is currently not really capable of) master in real life.

God, now I want to play Sims....

I don't know much about terushima and astumu but I know that I always see them depicted that way. Oikawa is such a complicated character and it sucks seeing people reduce him to an annoying play boy. They're all hard workers who care about their friends and have admirable goals

atsumu and oikawa radiate the same energy to me. they’re both ridiculously dedicated to volleyball, have fan-girls, and probably couldn’t maintain relationships in HS because of their volleyball dedication. not to mention they’re both a tad immature sometimes and rely on their friends/team-mates to reel them in.

terushima is literally such a major nerd too like, this mans is in the highest class level. he’s smart and the way he plays volleyball? just a huge goofball. i may be slightly biased though bc i definitely thirst for terushima LMAO. he just matches kuroo’s energy to me and i live for that aesthetic

Honestly I haven't had a bad experience in a relationship (probs because I haven't been in one lol) but I've had bad experiences with guys in general so 🤷 I think mine come from the unhealthy relationships around me and a lot of self doubt/insecurity. We'll get there someday though. I'm glad you enjoy those scenes! I'm a sucker for angst but the gentle and genuine love between Kuroo and (name) is what really gets me :') It's hard to decide which scenes are my favorite tbh.

I was planning on getting a quarter-sleeve bicep tat centered around a Sag constellation. ugh i just love tattoos so much, i can literally talk about them for hours 🙃 i’m multi-racial, and i was gonna get an Asian dragon quarter-sleeve on my other bicep, a phoenix on my shoulder blade, and maybe even a tiger on my rib-cage but IDK it’s so expensive and just so much pain. the left side has all my Western tattoos atm 🤣
