i'm curious what's your deal breaker team when it comes to following sports blogs on here? like the person seems the coolest, funniest, sweetest, with correct opinions, supports another team you love, just someone you'd definitely wanna follow... but the thought of seeing so much of that team on your dash even if you can blacklist it and try to avoid it as much as possible is just too much?

i wish i could hide individual posts on twitter like sometimes people i like post my gifs (other than the ones i've posted here for everyone to use freely) and i have no more fight in me left to ask people to credit because people over there have been hostile about it (so like, even when the poster is nice about it, i've had "popular" accounts jumping in on conversations they weren't part of to try and claim that crediting other fans for their work was "unreasonable", and in the first place it's pretty 50/50 whether people respond reasonably and add credit or if they ignore and mute/block me so they can continue stealing my gifs without me being sooooo mean and unreasonable and linking to the source i guess) and it's someone i don't wanna unfollow or mute but it just drains my spirit to see that post you know. please let me know if there is a thing like xkit on tumblr that works for hiding individual twitter posts

I think the funny thing about my being a youth leader is that I basically just Hang Out with a bunch of middle schoolers. like I just pal around with them and play games and then sit down and ramble at the youth pastor when it's time to discuss the Biblical topic of the night and somehow this has charmed like half a dozen of them into considering me A Cool Person despite the fact that I'm actually Introverted And Awkward at all times

as someone who does Not like change and has been a user on this site for 13 goddamn years i am so annoyed at the rumblings that there might be an algorithm implemented on the dash / disrupting chronological viewing of posts. i like things the way they are !!! the vast majority of your long-time user base likes things the way they are !!!! i cannot stress enough how much i Do Not want to see stuff from people i do not follow !!!!! i follow people for a reason !!!

i think one of the girls in my graphics class may be trans NOT to assume anyones gender ever but like she is very clearly like obviously presenting as very feminine like almost anyone would assume she is a girl like i would say she "passes" or whatever as a girl yk? but my prof was talking to me and was pointing out stuff abt her work as an example and kept saying he and him and i didnt even realize until later what was going on like i thought maybe he was talking abt someone else or smth or that maybe I had assumed her pronouns wrong and he knew from canvas or smth bc i never had even considered that she was maybe trans and then later she talked in front of the class abt her project and it wasnt until i heard her voice that was a little lower i was like oh my god the professor was like. straight up purposefully misgendering her i think. like it could not have been an innocent mistake clearly she is presenting as a girl and looks like a girl. and he was misgendering her TO ME and i didnt even realize and just acted like it was normal and she was sitting nearby probably overhearing the whole thing....

reread all the vegas chapters from the goldfinch and listen…. ive always thought the movie was pretty good. just the sheer fact that they didnt straight up change any of the plot earns them a solid B, but man theres so many amazing scenes i wouldve loved to see.

"every time i ask myself why we're doin' this, every time -- somethin' happens to remind me." and, like. it's really giving 'chicken or the egg.' is this school necessary to protect these kids from incidents like this, or are these incidents simply happening to them because they're at the school and training underneath the x-men, thereby exposing them at a much higher level to all the crazy fucking shit the x-men get involved in, but then that makes it seem like they NEED to be at the school to be protected even though it's actually putting them at more risk than if they weren't there??? GEE I WONDER.

btw in my theoretical peculiar rewrite that Will not ever happen bc im not a writer anymore i left that life behind in 2017. but in my theoretical one its rly mostly just a rewrite of likee. maybe a bit of book 3 and then Completely rewriting books 4-6
