Man my heart really goes out for Billy...
I went back to watching Young Sheldon’s recent episode to see Missy and Mandy bond, but wound up appreciating and loving Billy and Sheldon’s friendship instead. I was afraid that it would have Sheldon bashing Billy and being a complete and utter ass as he tends to be when it comes to people with a lower IQ than him.
But instead in his role as teacher, he was patient and even nice to Billy, withholding any smart ass remarks and just working with how Billy thinks and it was fucking amazing to watch, while I was also amused by Billy’s silly remarks and connections he made when it came to math and his own life. That boy is just so silly.
It was a really great episode. The last remark about how Billy finally did pass the 6th grade but stayed in 7th for several years kind of ruined it for me...it implied that Billy never got the help he needed, and the biggest help he got was Sheldon which in some ways might make sense, I mean to me. Both of them seem to be coming from the autism spectrum though Sheldon is obviously from the higher end...what’s more it also showcased that Billy may not be all that dumb at all but rather he think very differently, literally. It’s likely the reason he fails is due to people around him not understanding him. While Sheldon does seem to think Billy is well stupid, he does take everything Billy say seriously whereas many others seem to dismiss everything Billy says. And what do you know, Billy actually outsmarts...in a way...Sheldon in this episode by posing the question of zero’s actual existence. I absolutely loved this show you have no idea!
For a moment, I thought the only reason I’d be watching Young Sheldon would be for the rest of the family, that Sheldon himself had come to be the worst thing about this show.
But this week’s episode proved me wrong. Sheldon truly is the best thing when the writers write him as endearing as he was in S1-3 of Big Bang and at times throughout the show... I think what makes Sheldon shine is when he is interacting with people who different to him and make him see things in different perspectives. This is probably why he was a whatdoyoucallit? Break-out character?
The main protagonist of Big Bang Theory was Leonard. I will always stand by that, but Sheldon ended up outshining him because of how quirky, odd and unique he was, and how that melded well with the rest of the cast. All of his interactions with the cast had chemistry and were entertaining to say the least because of how unique his personality was and how it clashed and battled, or melded and worked with the others.
That being said, this is probably why his interaction with Billy was the best. Billy is from the other side of the spectrum so seeing two people who are so different and yet alike interact along with the intellectual philosophy melded in was just wonderful. It was also great to see Linkletter and Sturgis being put in along the ride, how they took Sheldon’s word that zero didn’t exist and tried to disprove it only to wound up nauseous realizing he was right. I absolutely loved this episode!

Girl Meant For Him
Tumblr media
Hey @kaymudd it's been forever since I have gotten a request from you 🥰
Georgie Cooper request where they have been dating for a while and he never told his parents but they found out. His parents are surprised he is dating his opposite type of girl.
"Georgie stop panicking. They'll like this. You'll be fine." I reassured my boyfriend taking my hand in his feeling him shaking in his boots. We have been secretly dating for a couple months. Until his parents found out when I rushed over kissing him when he was excited he got an A on a test for the first time. Entering his living room we sat down on the couch seeing his mother making dinner. "Mrs. Cooper let me help with that." I offered taking the plates from her hands sitting them on the table. She was suprised at my offer not used to having her son's girlfriends wanting to help with dinner. Finally his father sat at the end of the table with his mother and sister sitting across from us. Sheldon was busy doing work for college tonight.
"So Y/n have you slept with my brother. Is that we didn't know about you until a week ago?" Missy asked which resulted in getting hit in the head by her mother scolding the young middle schooler. "Missy Cooper!" Georgie and I glanced to each other blushing like a tomato at her question. I reached under the table playing with the end of my pink shirt. "You don't have to worry about that. My parents and I have an agreement that I will wait till marriage." I explained calming his mother's nerves. His father took a bite of brisket nudging his sons shoulder with a smile. "I'm proud of you son. You actually found a girl with manners and didn't sleep with her." Reaching over I squeezed my boyfriend's hand seeing him fighting to drop his smile at his father's compliment.
Georgie had gotten a bad reputation since his brother had transferred to high school. So he started acting out and hooking up with girls that weren't exactly a good influence on him. We actually met when one of the joks was picking on me and he stepped in then a week later we were dating. "I know he's got a good heart. He stepped in when I needed saving." Georgie smiled kissing my forehead even though he wanted to kiss my lips but his parents were watching. Missy sticks her tongue out smiling at me. "Y/n, can I show you my room?" Nodding my head I followed her so she could show me her ponies. Georgie felt his mom hug him from behind watching us. "I'm so happy you found a girl that seems to be meant for you." He hugged his mother back happy they approved of the relationship.
Comments really appreciated 😊

| milf (man i love fish moms)
synopsis: kim minji who works at a cafe develops a crush on a girl who she saw in a pet store, that girl is her neighbor — minji doesn't know.
— nonidol!kminji × nonidol!femreader
くコ:彡くコ:彡くコ:彡くコ:彡くコ:彡
kim minji vividly remembers the memory of when she first saw you, it was in a pet store located near the apartment complex she lives in. it sat in the middle of two restaurants, one is a fast-food restaurant and another one is a cafe, where she works as a cashier. she remembers how you stared at the fishes with so much adoration, your eyes were wide — sparkling like you had the universe inside of them.
minji remembers standing there, wearing her uniform and having to slap herself back awake when she realized she's been staring at you for quite a long time. because why the fuck was she there staring down an innocent girl gawking over fishes in a tank instead of doing whatever job she had? she literally only went to the pet store to bring the owner a box.
minji felt like a weirdo, for a moment only.
then she started thinking of you more often, not realizing that you lived in the same apartment as she did, the same floor and all. it's not like minji liked making friends, yeah she's sociable and all but she hated dealing with landlords and annoying neighbors.
so the door next to her apartment was always ignored, she never really had gotten a chance to know who the person living inside was. minji only got to know pham hanni, the girl who lived on the lower floor. they were friends, they also took the same classes.
meanwhile, you were stuck inside your apartment, which turned out to be the apartment next to minji's. you lived quite a comfortable life, you were content with whatever you have today, there's no point in looking for more.
you work at home, study online — play video games, eat, walk around the house and then take care of your fish, sometimes stare at them with your mouth wide open, amazed.
there's nothing in this world that you love more than fish, you study about them, you watch videos about them — you are practically obsessed with fish and there's nothing changing you. you see these fishes as your own, you bought them all the things they need, spent money on corals and bigger tanks, oxygen and fillers.
whenever you can, you'd research about a new fish and you try to look for them around every pet store that exists near your place.
you also have a turtle in a separate tank, you named him sheldon — which your brother didn't quite like.
your life revolves around these things only, and you could never be thankful enough for it. you never see a space in your life for love life, it's always unavailable because you care about things that you have now more than what you wish for.
but sometimes, there are people who are not content with your life — like your mother!
she finds your fear of stepping out of your comfort zone a not-so-good thing, it may affect how you live for the next few years, your confidence and more, and one of the things she hates is a kid who is fearful.
"honey, when will you find a partner? i'm worried you're not able to take care of yourself alone there." your mother sighed, for a thousand times already. it gets tiring but you understand that she's just worried, i mean you have no other sources of happiness, you have no one to lean on when there are problems.
you never saw that as a problem, it gets hard yeah but it's all good, right?
"mom, thanks but look — i don't think it's the right time for that. i'm still young and i have a lot of things on my plate right now." you answered, the phone on your hand and the other is wiping the moss away from the tank, it's not necessary to do that but you want to see your kids better.
"but who will you talk to when we're not there? y/n, you need a shoulder to lean on. you need someone to share sentiments with, to care for. you need to create more relationships, it's good!" seriously, you love your mom but sometimes she can get a little pushy.
but she did have a point.
"I'll think about it." you replied, trying to fight the urge to sigh in defeat. you hear your mom hum, a sign that she's satisfied with your answer.
the next day, you find yourself inside a cafe, beside the pet shop you visit all the time. you sat at a table near the counter, scrolling away on your phone to a website showcasing various species of fishes.
to be quite frank, it is your first time visiting here — you never paid much attention to this place, you eat by ordering and making foods yourself at your place. you liked it that way, you hated engaging interaction the social anxiety just isn't good.
you found the strength to stand up and make an order to the counter and as you walk — a certain cashier has her eyes on you. minji felt a tension arising from her, as you got closer and closer, minji got more skittish. she doesn't understand why but when she made eye contact with you, her knees felt weak.
"good morning!" minji greeted you, with a gorgeous smile on her face. you blinked at her and tried to smile back, but you screamed mentally realizing it might have looked forced and awkward. "good morning." you greeted back.
"may i take your order?" your eyes shot at the menu on the screen above, darting at the selection of food and drinks. there's this familiar feeling in your stomach, the same feeling you get during a class presentation when you're about to present your work or when you know you fucked the exam up.
erm, what do i want again? you ask yourself.
finding it hard to choose and to speak, afraid you might make any mistake and forever embarrass yourself. you remembered this one technique your brother taught you.
he said: "if you ever find yourself stuck in front of a pretty cashier and suddenly forget the basics of how to order food, just say — hey what's your recommendation? it works!"
your brother knows damn well it doesn't, and you yourself knows that too. everyone knows your brother is an airhead, he probably thinks it does wonders to literally anyone, then again he managed to be in a relationship with someone.
but alas, you were desperate.
"hey miss, what do you recommend here?" you were quite surprised, it went out smoothly, you didn't stutter and was able to hold eye contact for more than five seconds. minji smiled and pushed strands of her hair behind her ear.
honestly, minji has her own favorites, she has a lot of recommendations in the menu — there is a lot of good stuff in here but… she looks at you and sees quite an expectant look on your face (in reality, it's just you looking constipated and wanting to cut this social interaction quickly).
"i guess kombucha and cinnamon rolls, i think you'll like them." minji stated, her gummy smile looked pleasant to your eyes and you loved her energy, weirdly enough you were able to calm yourself down. with a nod, you bowed your head. "thanks, i'll take them." after paying, you're first thought is to leave the counter but —
"what's your name?" the cashier asked. you raised your eyebrows, there's this awkward twitching on the corner of your lips — you let out an airy laugh. "uhm, y/n." you see minji writing it on a paper before giving the receipt to you.
god, that was hard.
minji smiled, she really cannot help it.
you went back to the seat you were at a few moments ago, then started contemplating about your life, wishing you were sitting in front of your fish tank so the thoughts go 'round your head faster. it's hard to concentrate here, there are too many people.
your phone vibrated in your pocket, you dug your hand in and pulled your phone out to a message from you mother.
mom (ノ`⌒´)ノ┫:・┻┻
y/nnnn my daughter
i still remember what you told me
so, do you plan on meeting someone?
i am excited to hear about your thoughts
seen.
ah of course, your mom again. you knew she's not gonna give up that easily — but there was no way you can convince her, you've already kind of… promised her a positive answer so it's hard to turn back. at this rate, you'd have to get on with it, get a date or something.
mom (ノ`⌒´)ノ┫:・┻┻
erm
hi mom
i need more time,
i promise!
i need to get to know people more
sent.
you clear your throat when you feel the waiter approach your table with your order. minji stood by the counter, watching over you with a smile on her face.
the easiest way to find the perfect match for you is either through an app (which you KNOW you would hate) or through a mutual friend, which would probably be a safer option rather than being abducted.
mom (ノ`⌒´)ノ┫:・┻┻
well, i am expecting a good news by the end of this month
i know my amazing daughter would never disappoint ;)))
and plus i want you to be happy with someone
i can't stand you being alone there
seen.
well you are quite miserable, you wouldn't deny that but hey — you are trying! at least, that's the second best thing you can do for yourself.
mom (ノ`⌒´)ノ┫:・┻┻
alright i know mom,
don't worry, you'll meet the perfect person by the end of the month
they'll love fish too
sent.
your mother's reply came soon after you sent your message and you can't help but sigh playfully.
mom (ノ`⌒´)ノ┫:・┻┻
they better love fish!
my daughter can't be with someone who isn't willing to be a fish parent
>:(((
seen.
you still love your mom even if she's annoying.
when minji came back to her apartment, she didn't expect a visitor — which turned out to be her best friend; pham hanni. "hi bff! did you miss me?" hanni grinned at her friend, walking her way to the dining table and taking a cookie from the bowl.
minji rolled her eyes and smiled. "i see you everyday, pham."
hanni laughed and stood with her arms crossed.
"hey, remember when you used to complain about being lonely and sad?" hanni spoke, making her way to the living as minji went ahead of her. minji sighed and nodded. "oh yeah, i was drunk that time pham, forget it." minji responded, getting a scoff from hanni.
"just as i found a solution!" minji looked at hanni as they stood in the middle of the living room, her brow rising at the bold claim from hanni. "and what about it?" hanni pushed her friend lightly by the shoulder. "oh, don't act stupid! look, i'm setting you up on a date." hanni shrugged when minji looked at her with a "are you serious?" face — not forgetting the pout on her lips.
"and with who?" minji snarked.
hanni shook her head, raising her index finger and shaking it. "nuh-uh! can't tell, jihye said it's a secret." she proceeded to giggle over the mention of her girlfriend, which made minji fake a gag to mask her jealousy.
yeah, i definitely DON'T want a girlfriend for sure.
"thanks to your girlfriend i guess." minji sighed. she really wanted to bite the offer, but the fact that she's currently into someone else (which happened to be you) remains, how is she supposed to be there and act all interested?
that's gonna be harsh.
but then, it's not like she's gonna lose something.
"so? deal or no deal?" hanni nudged her friend. minji rolled her eyes playfully and said: "deal, gremlin."
and you found yourself fiddling g your fingers as you sat at a different restaurant that your friend, jihye reserved for you and your supposedly blind date.
you hope whoever that is jihye decided to set you up with wouldn't be an asshole, that's too much to ask for but hey — that has to be at least someone jihye knows of.
you were nervous, to say that you felt confident would be an understatement — you lowkey wished the restaurant had a tank with fish for you to stare at, but all they have here is a tank of lobsters that are on their life sentences, to be served as a dish.
this isn't good. you told yourself, feeling the same bubbling feeling inside you.
"hey," your head turns and you see a familiar face.
minji?
minji!
or to you, is the cashier from the cafe.
"y/n?" she muttered, looking at you. your eyes twitched, but gave her a small and shy smile.
a part of you is thankful it was her, rather than anybody else it had to be that pretty cashier from the cafe.
minji was happy, rejoicing inside her head when you stretched a hand at her.
"l/n y/n." you cracked a smile, this time it felt natural. minji chuckled a little, feeling her face burning up with the sensation of your palms on hers, the soft skin rubbing on her calloused one.
"i'm kim minji."
then all your worries were washed away when minji helped you get through the conversation, you liked her caring personality. it seems like she finds it easy reading people's moods and is able to choose her words very well.
you liked that.
you like her enough to let this little date be more than just a one time thing.
"i study marine biology! i like the water and i used to live near a shore at busan. i have a lot of pet fish and a turtle named sheldon." you watched as she listened attentively, her eyes darting at your face and to your lips — you like that, her way of showing interest. you like it when people care about what you say.
minji doesn't really care about fish, but she cares about the ocean, hello? — she was the one who suggested the use of papers in their cafe.
but it wasn't as intense as your interest, you seemed deep in the ocean studies (no pun intended, really). it didn't bother minji, as long as a pretty girl gets to say what she wants, minji's fine with that.
"that's cool! you know marine and like bodies of water are interesting." minji sees the glimmer in your eyes, it's like the skies at night are nothing compared to the blinding light in your pupils. you nod at her. "i want to say more, but there's not much time left. if you want, here's my number. i can invite you to my place anytime you're free." you passed her a card, it's your phone number.
minji looked up at you with flushed cheeks, you looked down and laughed softly.
when you got back home, the first thing you did was get your phone and message your friend.
mo jihye U ´꓃ ` U
hey
it was great
it went soo well
thanks
sent.
then your mom, you think of minji with a smile — feeling the excitement rush inside of you.
mom (ノ`⌒´)ノ┫:・┻┻
moommmm
i think i will be able to introduce you to someone
don't get too excited but,
she's great!
she likes the ocean too
sent.
your phone vibrated to messages of your mom, jihye then an unknown number.
mo jihye U ´꓃ ` U
oh my god???
really??
you like minji???
that sauurrrr amazing!
seen.
you laughed, kicking your feet by the edge of your bed.
mo jihye U ´꓃ ` U
i get it now,
i'll invite her idk when but i will
sent.
you scroll through the messages.
mom (ノ`⌒´)ノ┫:・┻┻
oh that's amazing!
i can't wait to meet her!
is she pretty?
does she have a job?
what's her hobby?
seen.
you decided to check out the unknown number.
unknown number
hey,
this is minji
;))
what's up?
seen.
you couldn't help but giggle; it's such a weird feeling but it's nice and you don't mind it.
minji ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ
all good
thanks for earlier,
you're so fun
hehe
sent.
mom (ノ`⌒´)ノ┫:・┻┻
that's way too many questions
still getting to know her more!
but we'll get there
just wait :D
sent.
you keep thinking about minji, it's too fast you think? but she's got that vibes, as long as she doesn't plan on murdering you, you believe it's going to be well. she's interested, and so are you — it's not gonna be that bad, right?
there's still doubt but it's not that bad to indulge yourself for a while, you hate second guessing and you like going for what you want.
minji ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ
nah, thank you too
hey, can't wait to hear more from you ;))
let's see each other often :pp
nice to meet you.
seen.
oh how fast you two have been, but that doesn't matter. you were ready to invite her over to your place, and she was ready to accept it — making sure she guessed a date you'll give her an invite, making sure it's free.
you plan on giving her an invite today, though the both of you have no idea where each other lives — still, it's quite crazy right? you are starting to realize that it's not just liking, or interest, you are fond of her now and it's going to be hard to ignore the way she makes your mind go crazy.
the last time you felt this frenzy was when you first got your fish tank.
her smile, her eyes, her nose, her cheeks, her hands, and her lips. minji is a dream, the type of dream you get in a deep slumber. meanwhile, minji loves you — already, it's a foolish thing to say but she really couldn't get enough, the way her heart gets crazy when you're near. the circuit of electricity running inside her veins your hands touch, your lips look magnetic.
she's desperate for more.
"just finished your shift?" you asked her, your finger twirling on the strand of your hair, the other hand on your phone, pressed to your cheek— you laid on your back, your weight pressed on the soft mattress of your bed. you tried to fight a smile, but the sound of her breath takes you away. "yeah, about to go home actually." she responded. you can hear shuffling from the other line and figured it might be her packing up her stuff.
"can i tell you something?" you asked her, minji raised her brows and stopped from what she was doing. "yeah?"
"can you come over here to my place? whenever you're free." minji felt herself frozen, she looked around the room to see if anyone was there, took a peek behind the wall before smiling from ear to ear. "yes, i don't mind tomorrow." you smiled, practically trying your best to fight the urge not to roll over your bed and fall.
"o-oh, yes! i'll send you my address."
minji chuckled and nodded. "alright."
here's the thing, as minji was walking her way back to the apartment complex, you were inside your apartment — the door next to hers, she doesn't know it's you of course, and you don't know it's her next door. minji walked past your door and stopped in front of hers, then her eyes darted to the door of your apartment.
i wonder who lives here.
must be an old woman or something.
minji then entered her apartment and received a message from you.
minji ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ
hey,
this is my address
×××× bldg. 3rd floor - ××××
see you!
sent.
minji placed her bag on the couch and read your message, her eyes checked if she saw it correctly.
the same building, the same location, the same floor — minji rushed outside of her door and then to your door, there's a number plate, exactly like what you sent her.
minji took a deep breath, then she knocked.
you were staring at your fish tank, heard the door knocking and wondered who it might be, it's not like you had any conversations with the person living next door nor knew anyone in this apartment complex.
as you opened the door, you were greeted by a not-so-much taller girl, your eyes met hers and you were taken back. "minji?" you peek outside your door and back to minji who smiled. "why are you here already?" you asked, with actual confusion in your voice.
minji chuckled and pointed to the apartment next to yours. "i live there. i just found out you live here too." she spoke with that deep voice of hers, sending chills to your spine.
you laughed. "oh my god." you put a hand on your face and stared at minji, her eyes looked so… cute today? you don't know, but you really think it's a precious sight to look at and get yourself lost in, the same feeling you get when you stare at your pets. then you can't help but smile wider, a blush painting your cheeks pink.
your mom will love minji, you'll make sure of it.
minji laughed, her eyes turned crescents, her cheeks flaring red and the tip of her ears are a thousand shades of red. it's music to your ears, you've never felt this happy with a person ever before, you just realized. it's like everything momentarily stops, but you are hyper aware of your surroundings, minji's presence and all — even the loud thumping your heartbeat resonating with hers.
you want to touch her hand, feel her warmth on yours.
"i like you already." minji muttered, her smile never fading. you tried to contain a squeal, something you really never expected.
"me too, i think. i like you too minji."

I had a silly dream last night and in it I was watching TV. Apparently lost boys was turned into a funny family comedy show (perhaps I've been watching too much Young Sheldon rip). Anyways, I can't remember what happened in the episode but I do remember that at the end just as the credits were about to roll there was a silly goofy scene. But for context, the show was about if Max and Lucy married and they were one big family with a lot of funny shit happening. The scene played out as:
- David sitting in a lawn chair outside smoking a cigarette, looking out into the backyard.
- Lucy came marching out with Marko in tow, stepping right up to David. She placed a mug of coffee on the armrest of his chair. She put her hands on her hips like a disappointed mother.
- Marko stands off to the side, hands behind his back looking ashamed.
- David did his little smile and blinked a few times, looking between her and the coffee.
- "Seriously? What the hell is wrong with you," Lucy said with disappointment.
- David looks at the coffee and shrugs. "I don't see anything wrong with it."
- Lucy looks to Marko who tries to hide his smile. She reached over and pulls out a dead salamander from her coffee. She drops it onto David's lap, who does not react at all. She points angrily between the two boys. "I'm telling your father."
- David throws the salamander at Marko. "Oh no. Don't tell Max," he says with sarcasm.
- Lucy throws her hands in the air and walks away, exhausted with them.

Young Sheldon Series Finale: 7x14 Memoir
Tumblr media
THE SHAMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰
Okay, so I have a lot of mixed feelings about this episode. I do not think it was very elegant in its execution, firstly, and secondly WE SERIOUSLY NEEDED MORE SHAMY LIKE WHAT THE HELL YOU GUYS IS THIS ALL WE ARE GOING TO GET OF SHAMY FOR LIFE??? Ugh! I was hyping myself up so so much about seeing married old couple Shamy, and don't get me wrong, it was amazing, but also in other ways disappointing. It seemed very limited in its emotional scope, and while I loved that it was brought home regarding Sheldon's relationship with his own son, it didn't quite reach the emotional heights they were going for, or at least what they could have gone for.
LIKE WHY COULDN'T WE HAVE SEEN SHELDON ACTUALLY INTERACT WITH HIS CHILDREN YOU GUYS WE WERE ROBBED 😩😩😩
AND SHELDON HAS A BABY GIRL AND WE DIDN'T EVEN GET TO SEE GIRL DAD SHELDON OR EVEN KNOW HER NAME I AM DEVESTATED
I know there was a limited time to the episode with them having to conclude all the storylines and everything, but they could have made this last episode an hour, would it have really killed them? It was like we were given a peep-sized hole view into Shamy's family life, and that was it! I wanted THE WHOLE PICTURE, I wanted to see it sprawling and majestic in all its beauty!!! UUUUUUUUUUUUGH!
Although, when Amy stepped towards Sheldon threateningly to get his cute ass into the shower and get ready for their son's game, I about lost it! OMG. Momma Amy don't play! And Sheldon cowered/flinched like he just KNEW to his bones that he crossed the line and lost the battle! (The blood was draining from the boy's face big time!! 😂😂😂) That was kind of hot not gonna lie... 🥵 *fans self* *swoons* *faints* But why did Amy get rid of all his nerdy shirts?? 😭 LET THE BOY LIVE HIS LIFE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! But we did get to see him in his cute cuddly robe most of the episode and then sporting his hot Dad-polo shirt! So that was something! 😍
Tumblr media
Another aspect that I didn't like about this episode is how they handled the situation with Mary Cooper. I believe it is very truthful, unfortunately so, that those who are "adults" in our lives fail us at the times we need them the most, but I don't like how the episode tried to frame it in a good light. The fact that Mary Cooper essentially emotionally abandoned her children and was forcing them to get baptisms (spiritually abusive) was pretty messed up! The way that MeeMaw placed the burden of responsibility on Missy and Sheldon (children who the adults should be supporting during what is quite literally the worst time of their lives!!!) was also super messed up too! Yet none of this is called out for what it is, but instead the writers try to turn it into a special, warm fuzzy moment between mother and son! Nah, I'm not buying it. Especially since the relationship between Mary Cooper and Sheldon is so special to me. I really don't know what else they could done, but I don't believe they should have done any of that. It was a really weird and awkward note to end the series on, even if it was hilarious how Sheldon showed up to his baptism in his whole scuba outfit! (Made even more hilarious by the fact that we learn that despite all of that, he still got an ear infection! Oh son...)
Oh well. I guess it is what it is! I am still just trying to process it all. I will probably be watching the Shamy moments on repeat forever! And I guess go back to my headcanons...
Oh, final note: I was seriously thinking for a moment there that Sheldon Prime and young Sheldon were going to meet! I think that would have been kind of cool actually if we got Sheldon talking/interacting with Sheldon (particularly for the Iain and Jim interaction!), but maybe it would have been a bit too on the nose. Although, that is Sheldon's MO. Still, I really, really loved that final moment when Sheldon Prime walks through his house in his memory and then turns around and it flashes back to his younger self speaking to Missy. I actually think that "last" moment between Sheldon and Missy is achingly beautiful as he tells her that he has no choice but to remember her, and she just laughs at him smugly. *lays down cries cries a lot*

Autism movie/show deep dive and my very general thoughts on them!
(everyones different these are my own opinions as an autistic woman please watch for yourself and share any additional thoughts you have on them!)
Music (2021)
Tumblr media
Enough said.... had to get this one over with 0/10
Adam (2009)
Tumblr media
I found most of these movies to be outdated BUT I actually really appreciate Hugh Dancy's recreation of an autistic character (those who know him as Will in Hannibal would probably also agree). Even though originally I wasn't a fan of the ending I came to appreciate it that he wasn't 'saved' by romance and that it proved he was able to be independent and had great character growth while still respecting himself and his passions. I think it offered a decent insight to the different aspects of autistic joy, passion, while still including the difficult aspects with socializing, navigating relationships, grief, and meltdowns but now being overshadowed by them or 'becoming a problem'. However, I do love space so that could've also been responsible for my love for this movie. 8/10
Heartbreak High (2022)
Tumblr media
I absolutely love Chloé Hayden who is autistic herself so her character in the show feels real and more relatable. Pretty much what I said about 'Adam' but to an extreme I think the script and character interactions are such a fantastic and understandable demonstration of what being an autistic women is like (granted everyones experience is different). Cannot wait for the next season! This show is such a great modern day representation and not based in stereotypes like others are 10/10
Big Bang Theory (2007)
Tumblr media
I will never not defend this show - I know people tend to hate this because Sheldon is heavily stereotypical but I find him incredibly relatable as I do fall into a lot of these stereotypes myself. Once again everyones experiences are different so I don't understand why people write this show off completely. Love it 10/10
Atypical (2017)
Tumblr media
Unfortunately I don't have much to say about this show in regards to his autism because the constant inconsistencies during scenes deserve their own post and were too distracting to focus on anything else. Another thing that upset me about this is that the show is meant to take place in Connecticut yet they filmed in one of the most recognizable aquariums in the west coast. This show probably could've been good if it was just made better/had quality control. The only thing I remember liking was the pros and cons list because I also do that. 4/10
Mozart and the Whale (2005)
Tumblr media
I'm going to preface this one specifically that I know everyone's autism presents differently but I almost found her... offensive? I think this is because it was made in 2005 and is just outdated but I felt like a lot of the characters especially hers were more caricatures than characters. Sheldon being stereotypical is one thing but this felt kind of insulting? I'm having a hard time putting it into words. There were moments I liked though - it was a weird back and forth. 5/10
What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993)
Tumblr media
Other than the mistreatment/beating/abuse I actually am pretty fond of this movie. Once again, outdated. But almost... endearing in a way (minus the mistreatment once again). I hope anyone who has seen it will understand what I feel. I did find the love interest annoying but that is unrelated to this post yet I felt the need to warn you all, I don't like her. 7.5/10
My Name is Khan (2010)
Tumblr media
I watched this movie six years ago in school before my diagnosis and I didn't even remember or realize he was autistic but I do remember having generally positive thoughts on this movie ?/10 (someone let me know if its worth a rewatch.
A Brilliant Young Mind (2014) ((also called X+Y))
Tumblr media
There is a lot of downtime in this movie so it can be kind of boring but it is honestly one of my comfort/go to movies. Of course its the whole "autistics are math geniuses" thing but the movie itself I think is sweet. It shows his diagnosis, he loses his father, he has almost a fill in father who coaches his math, his mother is really supportive of him but not in a savior kind of way, he experiences going out of the country for a competition, struggles with socializing/overwhelm, romantic interests, and there is another character who is autistic and his struggles are also shown in a relatable way, nothings (in my opinion) is annoyingly over exaggerated like it sometimes can be in movies. 9/10
The Good Doctor (2017)
Tumblr media
I never actually finished the show because the person I was watching it with kept making fun of me by relating myself to him. Since then I also haven't seen much of a positive reaction from other people either but please let me know your thoughts on it! ?/10
The Imitation Game (2014)
Tumblr media
Alan Turing himself was autistic and so even though it's not a main focus of this movie I still wanted to include it because I love this movie! 9/10
Sherlock Holmes (timeless)
Tumblr media
I have to also through him in here, obviously some versions are more autistic coded than others but I'm going to generally say all of them are great autistic representation <3 10/10
Not Dead Yet (2023)
Tumblr media
Like in Heartbreak High, Rick Glassman an autistic actor plays an autistic character and I think its another great modern day representation. It obviously isn't the main focus but they honestly do a pretty good job being educational in regard to social situations/difficulties and explain it in a way that people can learn from. 10/10
Bones (2005)
Tumblr media
I honestly can't remember if they ever say it but Temperance is 100% autistic and I think this is a very endearing show. Since its not the main focus I don't have much to say other than sharing my recommendation 9/10
Criminal Minds (2005)
Tumblr media
I mean... enough said. I love Reid with my whole heart. He is very much the 'autistic genius' again but you can't not love Reid! 10/10
Community (2009)
Tumblr media
Abed. Another one that doesn't really need much to be said about it. Abed is great 10/10
Dr Who (timeless) ((quite literally and figuratively))
Tumblr media
Now this could be considered a reach or projection but Dr Who... autistic! simple as that 10/10
House (2004)
Tumblr media
I had to just throw this one in at the end because its really just another version of 'Holmes' and 'Watson' now as 'House' and 'Wilson'. Sherlock, previously said as autistic means House is also autistic 10/10

So, the brain worms ara at it again and I thought "haha Merlin AU where not only Arthur returns but also Gwaine bc the whole «courage, strenght and magic» thing"
Me inmediatly also thinking about "well then maybe Lancelot should come back too"
You know, to spice things up
And then somehow it evolved into all of them returning from the dead
Like, every other week some dude sprouts from the ground like a daisy and the authoroties are already dialing Merlin's number.
He obviusly has a house in the forest.
Merlin still has to work so imagine all 6 idiots being left alone in a closed space
Like imagine them getting hungry and then trying to figure out how an oven works so they can cook a chiken
Arthur: well Merlin always gets the food from the bridge-
Elyan: fridge
Arthur: that thing
Gwaine: I don't think this chiken is good, it's all frozen over
León: maybe we can use fire to heat it up?
Percival: I think we can use the oven to do that
Lancelot: I know where Merlin puts the matches
Gwaine: ok great, how do we turn it on
Dead silence
Fifty minutes and nearly three explosions after Merlin comes back from work to find them sitting in the forest floor with a small fire going on so they can eat
"Why is Elyan crying?"
After maybe a month or so they learn how tf the T.V. is supposed to work
No, it's not magic. Yes Percival I checked. No Arthur it isn't alive. Yes I'm a 100% sure of it
They decided not to watch the news anymore after Arthur almost had an Aneurysm
"At least the cat is doing his job"
Cue to more shenanigans since they happen to land on "Young Sheldon"
Merlin is starting to realise this may have been a mistake.
He is really starting to regret it when they discover "F.R.I.E.N.D.S"
He really hopes they don't find out about the other Sheldon.
They definetly freaked out about cars
Like an actual lot
Lancelot thought they were alive
He got bullied for that
Whoever introduced Gwaine and Percival to donuts, they don't realise the caos they ensured.
Let's not even talk about "Hawaian Pizza"
Arthur says that when he is king again he will ban it forever.
Lancelot doesn't mind it (almost gets bullied again)
Surprisingly Leon likes it
Actually gets bullied
"Guys don't be mean it's not so bad" "Percival not you too"
Merlin has no coments in the situation
Also, angst time ;)
They go to the zoo
Both Elyan and Gwaine hate the reptile house
Gwaine had a panic attack
They go to the museum
Lancelot discovered that he was supposed to be a french prince
Gwen's dress was in exibit
Percival wants to punch the guide in the face
They go to Merlin's work
It's a bookshop
Turns out he owns the bookshop
"Merlin I can't read this" "Sounds like a you problem" "MERLIN-"
I'll let the shenanigans up to you
When they finally learn enough to get a job
Lancelot and Arthur work at the same coffee shop
Somehow Arthur became the manager
"I want yo speak to your manager" "Ma'am please don't-" "What do you want bitch"
Karen vs. Karen
Elyan works with Merlin, he likes the quiet
Gwaine is a mascot for s fast food restaurant
Percival got a job at a restaurant as the delivery boy
And don't ask him how because he doesn't know the answer but Leon gets a job as a Taxi driver
He doesn't want to talk about it
Fun fact, Aithusa can speak now, barely
So when he was coming to visit one night he sees Leon chillin on the porch and decides to greet him
Now imagine a "I haven't drink water in 3 years" voice convined with a VERY HIG VOLUME and the utter darkness areound + Aithusa is very sneaky
"Greetings Sir León" "JESUS BLOODY FUCK"
He threw a few more colorfull insults he learned from his job
After (a lot) calming down and (also a lot) catching up the knights come to the realisation than Merlin saved their asses in múltiple occasions
Like, it's actually ridiculous
"I always knew"
Merlin: don't think too much about it
All the knights: No, I think I will
Now they want to AT LEAST do something nice for him
You know, for saving their literal lives, multiple times
So Elyan, Lancelot and Arthur are working to sneak out a lot of pastries form the coffe shop
"We were goin to throw them out anyways"
The thing is, tho, that they don't know that Leon, Gwaine and Percival are actually doing something similar
"Won't your boss suspect when a bunch of fruit is suddenly gone?" "Shut up and drive"
Cue to being too much food
"You guys realise that we don't need this much food right?" "It's for you" "Well actually I don't mind sharing"
It's the thought what matters
I'm gonna make a post when all of them discover what a phone is

I think Josh Sauchak is one of my favorite examples of Explicitly Autistic Characters In Media.
Obviously, he's not a *perfect* example, because at the end of the day there are still cliches he falls into (being white, cis, pretty young, etc etc etc) but IMHO he's not insufferable, or an offensive caricature (like Sheldon - even tho they have a lot of basic similarities- or Sia's Music ™).
All that being said, here are things i appreciate in the way Josh's character was made:
1. He's an actual adult.
A lot of people who are much smarter than me talked about how shitty it is to infantilize neurodivergent people. And they're right; it annoys me to no end when people who are close to The Autistic Character™ treat them like a child, with no agency of their own. WD2 doesn't do that!
(some could argue that Sitara does it. I'd disagree; It goes with how her character is set up - she cares deeply about her friends, and goes out of her way to make sure they're okay. She's protective. Not just towards Josh, but Marcus, the Unnamed Friend from the Moscow Gambit mission, off the top of my head.)
There's only one person i can think of who explicitly infantilized Josh and treated him less like a person, and more like a pet. And that's Lenny. Y'know, someone who game tried very hard to let us know we're NOT SUPPOSED TO LIKE.
and - SPOILER - it did bite her in the ass at the end, didn't it?
2. He's a full, well rounded character.
I'll try to keep it short and sweet- the difference between Josh and Sheldon - the unholy staple of autistic characters - is that Josh doesn't feel flat. At least to me.
He does admit in one of the side missions that autism does have a huge impact on his personality. Now i couldn't find an exact quote, but after Marcus asks him whether or not he'd take part in the "experiments" being held that could supposedly "cure autism", Josh's answer is something along the lines of "only if I could go back from that. I like who i am, and i don't know if I'd like myself without it (the autism)".
Side note- it's genuinely so uplifting to see an autistic character and people around them not treating neurodivergency like some fucking curse. It happens way too often.
But yeah, going back to the point- Josh has a full, fleshed out personality. He's passionate, self aware, can be absolutely hilarious, and doesn't let other people walk over him. But he also holds himself to very high standards, and can be really harsh on himself if he doesn't meet them.
3. How he's treated by others.
I touched on that briefly before, but i simply love every interaction Josh has with others.
They treat him so normally, that in media where neurodivergent people are more often than not treated like aliens this felt extremely refreshing.
Dedsec members don't baby him as mentioned above, but they also don't get mad when he doesn't understand something, or - in his head - fucks something up.
(And honestly, that applies to everyone in Dedsec. I was so scared that the writers are gonna go for the lowest hanging fruit- do something that will make the group temporarily fall apart. But they didn't. Not when Marcus had his big fuckup at !nvite, not when Ray showed up. They stuck together. And didn't dwell on each other's mistakes.)
TLDR; it fascinates me to no end how media that treat themselves so insanely seriously fail at being inclusive, but Watch Dogs 2 - the game that took a giant U-turn from being that, after seeing how first game was received - has had some of the most genuine, heartfelt, casual representation I've seen in a long time.
Again, it's not perfect. But it's honest and down to earth. It didn't treat marginalized communities it included instrumentally.
I just love this game so much.

11 - Changing the Game
Tumblr media
Part 12
It’s About Time
What other episodes do you want me to include?? I am wanting to write them at 17 years old already so I might do a time skip unless y’all have anymore episodes you’d like me to include when they aren’t 17.
Georgie and I hadn’t really talked in deep conversation about whatever our feelings were. We had been working in Dale's shop for a few weeks now. So only small talk when the other needed help with a customer.
Rounding the counter top I handed a person back their change before I eyed the clock seeing it was time for me to be off of work. “That’s my shift. Georgie I’ll see you tomorrow.” I headed towards the front door about to leave.
“Y/n, hang on a sec. Can I talk to you real quick?” He made me pause from pushing open the door to leave.
I clicked my tongue looking over my shoulder at him. “I guess so. But make it quick I have to meet your sister before she tries out.”
“Yeah I heard that was today. But I was thinking if you’re free afterwards that we could hang out.” Georgie shrugged his shoulders standing a few steps away from me.
I clicked my tongue feeling uneasy about talking with him right now. I wasn’t brave enough to tell him how I really felt and I wasn’t sure that I would ever get there. “I’ll see if I’m free, Georgie. But I - uh should go. I promised I wouldn’t be late.” Pushing the door opened the young Cooper watched his best friend leave the store and he dropped the half smile on his face knowing he needed to say something sooner rather than later.
George sr, Missy and I got out of his truck  before I watched Missy slam the backdoor behind her including her bedroom door in anger. Waiting outside her room i wasn't sure what to say listening to the parents talk about what happened in the kitchen. Memaw's shoes quickly stomped down the hallway pushing the door open. “You want to be on that baseball team?”
“Yes, but the coach said-” Missy sat up on her bed.
Connie cut her granddaughter's words. “I don't care what he said get your glove, let's go.”
She got up from the bed coming to meet me in the hallway until Sheldon spoke up. “Missy..”
She halted glaring at him. “What?”
He sent her a good boost of confidence rather than a snarky comment. “Do good baseball.”
Connie, Missy and I got in her car driving to the baseball field where the coach was.  I gasped in surprise seeing that the coach was in fact my boss at the sporting good’s store. Connie stomped up to him while he was packing the back of his truck. “You tell my granddaughter she can't play baseball?”
“Oh, well, I was just looking out for her, that's all.” My boss responded to her.
Connie snapped back. “Is that so? Well, we don't need you deciding what's best for her.”
“What do you need?” He asked.
Connie nodded her head poking her index finger into his chest. “I need you to give her the same chance you would a boy!”
“Or what?” He challenged her.
But she wasn’t going down without a fight. “Or you and me gonna have problems.”
“Well, we wouldn't want that, would we?” Dale picked up a ball and glove handing it to her.
“No, we wouldn't.” She takes the gear  coming over to the two of us. Handing it to Missy she stands beside me and behind the young girl. “Fire it in there, baby.”
“I'm scared.” Missy put the ball in one hand and slipped the glove on her opposite looking at my boss but didn't throw it immmedatly.
Connie faced her granddaughter looking her dead in the eye. “Meemaw has just made a scene. Now is not the time to be scared!”
“Come on, Missy just picture me down there. Throw the ball to me.” I encouraged the girl knowing that she had really impressive aim.
Missy takes a breath before launching the ball directly into his glove. I jumped up in the air cheering for her while Connie removed her sunglasses teasing the coach. “I'm just a girl. But I think that’s called a Strike.”
It had been a few days since she made the team and today was her first game. All of us were gathered together in the metal bleachers. Missy came out of the dug out with a red helmet on her head and a gray baseball bat in hand. She was in white pants, an orange shirt and her hair was braided down her back when she walked towards the mount. “Let's go, Missy!” Connie cheered standing beside me.
“Go get 'em, Missy!” Her dad hollered while I stood as close to the metal fence as possible to see the game.
The other team's pitcher threw a ball where she ducked underneath it and the umpire behind her caught the ball. “Ball.”
“Whoa.” Her mother gasped. “Oh! Dear Lord.”
Dale, who was the coach, remained calm as best he could. “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold it.”
“It happens. She's okay. Brush it off, Missy!” Missy’s dad touched his wife’s arm, not concerned about this.
The pitcher launched the ball again before Missy ducked a second time since the ball was directly heading for her face. “Ball.”
“What the hell?” Connie jumped up to stand.
George Sr raised his voice. “Son of a bitch.”
“Ballard, you gonna let them give her a black eye or am I gonna have to come out there and kick their asses!”
My boss raised his hands understanding the frustration. “Hey! Hey, hey, hey. Hold it. We talked about this. Cooper!” He called her name where we saw Missy run forward and tackled the pitcher into the dirt beginning to hit him with her fists.
“Hell yeah!” I throw my hands up in the air in victory that she was standing up for herself.
Coach Ballard shakes his head. “Ah, well, here we go.”
“Eat dirt. Eat it.” Missy said shoving his face in the dirt.
Connie cheered her on. “Kick his ass!”
“Does it taste good? Huh?” Missy teased.
Dale chimed in. “Yeah, listen to your meemaw. Kick his ass!”
“You gonna cry? Huh? Do it. Cry.” Missy noticed some tears coming down the boys face.
Her mom didn't want to watch the scene before her looking at her husband. “Do something. Break it up.”
“H-Hang on. She's winning.” But all he could feel was proud of his little girl.
“Missy! Missy Cooper, you stop beating up that boy!” Mary shouted not enjoying her see her daughter beating up a boy over a baseball game.
Connie shouted back. “Punch him in the nuts!”
After Missy was thrown out of the game I had to go home for dinner and everyone had to get ready for school and work the next morning. Laying on my bed with my bedroom door closed I was eating some Fritos and finishing up the math homework I had left until I heard someone knocking on my window in the middle of the night. “What the heck is going on?”
The knocking occurred a few more times where I could see someone out there so I got up and opened the window. Shifting my gaze around I could see someone hanging off the tree that was near my window. “Y/n!” I recognized Georgie’s voice coming through the night sky.
“Georgie, are you insane? Get in here.” I gasped holding out my hand for him to take as he crawled over on one of the limbs until I yanked him inside my window and we tumbled to the floor where I prayed we didn't wake up my parents.
He got up off the floor using his knees tugging me up to stand with him. “I need to talk with ya about something.”
“Hold up.” I moved around my bed flipping the lamp light on. “It’s the middle of the night. Did something really bad happen?”
He shakes his head no. “Nah nothing bad. But there's something I need to tell you.”
“Okay. What is it?” I asked, sitting down on the edge of the bed.
Georgie ran a hand through his hair and he slumped his shoulders heavily before the words I wasn’t expecting fell out of his mouth. “I have feelings for you.”
“What kind of feelings?” I questioned him not believing what he uttered next to me after all this time.
Georgie nervously responded with a blush on his face. “The more than best friends kind of feeling.” I hung my mouth opened so unclear of my next response to my best friend.
Comments really appreciated ❤️

I've started watching Young Sheldon and he's just-? So autistic??? Like, the way he percieves the world, he doesn't like to go outside because of how it's noisy, he likes his trains, and the way he was lining up his cars at the start of the first ep??? THATS AUTISM MY DUDES.
And when his dad took his bowtie. He was FREAKING OUT and it was in a way that I freak out when I can't find Hana, or my headphones. I can't sleep without Hana or my headphones, so if I can't find either of them before bed, I don't go to bed until I have both of them. Sheldon wouldn't have left his home that day until he had his bowtie, and his mom knew it. She doesn't know why Sheldon is like this (because it's the 1980's, autism wasn't well-known then and autistics were seen as weirdos which is how Sheldon's dad, brother and sister see him) but she loves him nevertheless. And Sheldon loves his mom, too. He went to church even though he didn't believe in that stuff, but because he knew that it would make his mom happy to have him there??? Like????
So yeah, I like Young Sheldon. Probably because certain behaviours of his are relatable.

You Sit In Class Next To A Red-Head Named Abigail And Soon Enough You're Best Friends
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing [s] : cherry valence x fem!reader
warning [s] : | im in love with her | she's my girl crush | kissing teehee | CHERRY LVRS UNITE PLEASE
a/n [s] : requests are open.
Tumblr media
Sherri Valence is your best friend. You've known her since elementary school. Whenever her hair was braided everyday with bows at the end. She played with you every single day, and she stayed with your best friend in middle school. You and her had grown up, her red-hair down to the middle of her back. You thought she was completely beautiful, when she walked down the football field on Bob Sheldon's arm with a pretty dress and her hair curled up.
Then, it hit high school and you begin to see her in a different light. Suddenly, it changed from daydreaming about what stores you would go to whenever you went to the mall with Cherry after school, to how the taste of her lips would be. It was confusing inside, wondering why you were thinking of your best friend in a way that was disgraced by the people in your neighborhood. Cherry was spending more time with you alone, taking your hand for a little longer than dragging you through the hallway.
Cherry invites you to the drive-in movie theater. It's late November evening, the trees are bare and cover the screen in some ways, but everything is perfect. You and Cherry are sharing chocolate chip cookies that she made just for this. As well as juicy and cold cherries you were sharing, watching her lips turn a soft red.
She had been much more different than usual; keeping her sentences short at all times or her eyes falling from yours to not look at you. That was the night she stopped her car at the local park that many teens and young adults chose to spend their nights there. It's a soft, moon lit night as you look over at her.
The radio is playing the Beatles as she looks over at you. Your name falls from her lips as she captures your attention. “Yes, Cherry?” Her dark-brown eyes look into yours as she messes with the rings on her fingers. “Can I— can I tell you something? You have to promise not to tell anyone else about it.” She whispers softly, hands running down her skirt. You nod and set your hand on hers, rubbing softly across her knuckles.
“I haven't been able to find the words to tell you,” You swear you can feel your heart beating out of your chest. Cherry takes shallow and shaky breaths in as she stares deeper in your eyes. “I think I'm in love with you. You make me feel so.. amazing. Better than anything Bob could've given me at all.” Your eyes widen as her words touch your ears. She's giving you an uncomfortable smile, waiting for the news to hit you.
“I understand if you don't feel the same.” Her words are a dangerous mix of hopefulness and are anxiety ridden. Her eyes well up with tears, them becoming glossy with feelings. Then, she continued pushing out her feelings. “Every time I need anything, you're there for me. More than I've ever been for you. I cherish every day we've had together, and the days we've missed because all I did was think about you.” It's vulnerable for Cherry to let herself in this position. She's held up a wall, only letting a few certain people through.
It's a weird silence. You can't find the correct words to say to her. The grip you have on her hand connects your souls through everything. “You mean everything to me. Please say something. Please.” She begs as she blinks a tear from her eye and it falls from her face. “Cherry.” You say her name to capture her attention this time, putting your other hand into hers. Your lips fall to her knuckles and you give a soft kiss to them.
“You mean the world to me too. I think if I lost you, I would chase you for everything. You're my partner in crime, my rock, my salvation. I love you too.” The words weren't crazy for you. You and Cherry were close enough to bring out the four letter words with each other. You lean further in, closer to her.
Cherry’s eyes are closer to your vision and you can successfully see the globs of honey-brown in her dark eyes. Her hair blows in the cold wind where it hasn't been clipped down. Your hand goes to lie on the back of her neck, and she leans in closer as well. You weren't one for hesitation but whatever was happening was causing you to freeze where you were.
Then, it begins. You lean in at the same time as her, and kiss her gently. She tastes like cherries and coke as you envelope her lips in between yours again. You hold her hand before you pull her closer and your hand runs through her soft hair. You and her pull away and she looks absolutely gorgeous. Her mascara is slightly messed up after crying, but her lipstick is messed up for a different reason. “You look gorgeous.” You tell her and her cheeks turn a light pink color.
“Thank you. I love you.” Cherry says and kisses you once more. You fall into the comfortable hold on her arms, her perfume wafting into senses. It's relaxing now that you feel as if a weight has been taken off of your heart and shoulders that now you've confessed.

Have you watched the big bang theory and/or young Sheldon?
I've seen parts of Big Bang Theory, mostly just seems like a show playing up the comedy of misogynistic and unkempt nerds, and it turns out I didn't find them endearing when I was in classes with them and I don't find them endearing on tv

any childhood memories that stuck with you?
I don't remember a lot from my childhood. I spent most of my time playing video games on my GameBoy and watching Sailor Moon dubs. My parents said I shouldn't watch a 'girl' show but I never listened.
Getting my braces set in in 9th grade sucked since I didn't get them off until senior year.Having a big ass pair of glasses thanks to all that time in front of the TV and getting a random growth spurt didn't help matters either- Gideon
((When I think of young gideon I literally just think of young sheldon-El))

My Thoughts: Young Sheldon 7x02 A Roulette Wheel and a Piano Playing Dog
Tumblr media
Look how cute he is! Cute as a button! 😙 Awwww! Baby! It is so difficult for me to watch Sheldon struggling. Imagine being a fish out of water your entire life where your one socially acceptable trait is your intellect, which surpasses everyone’s, only to be thrown into A WHOLE OTHER COUNTRY, taking the fish metaphor to a whole other level, only to discover THE one quiver in your arsenal is utterly moot.
Damn. My poor baby string bean! But he handled it so well. He pushed through! I am proud of my Shelly! It is the aspect of why YS is better than TBBT because they allow for Sheldon to be a more complex individual and don’t treat him like a child, even though he is literally a child. The show allows circumstances to push against him, to make him stronger, and the narrative isn’t constantly belittling him as if he can’t handle life at all. It is actually quite a big deal that Sheldon was able to keep his mouth shut and humbled himself under an authority in order to learn what he needed to. And he did this by HIS choice! He listened to what those around him where telling him, and chose the wiser path. He didn’t have to be coerced, manipulated, or browbeaten into it, which was often the route TBBT took.
Well, his tutor DID use physical reinforcement, but a wrap on the hand is good for the boy. 😁
Which brings me into my next thought, I don’t think this moving back and forth from Texas and Germany is going to work really well for the storytelling. I want to see how the whole Cooper family is doing, of course, but I am primarily watching this show for Sheldon! I don’t feel like they are able to spend the amount of time necessary to really explore this experience he is having. It feels so rushed. I don’t like it. I want more time to process Sheldon’s life lessons here and how he is feeling about it. It is the same old story! This is literally one of the biggest problems with American media.
They. never. give. enough. time. to. the. story. EVER. !!!!!
🤦‍♀️ Why are you the way that you are, American Media. I hate so much everything that you choose to be.

Anyway, I did love the heart to heart chat between Missy and Georgie this episode! That was so sweet! They are learning what it means to have responsibilities and that growing up requires so much thankless sacrifice. I love the bond that Missy and Georgie have, and I am glad we got to see them process this experience together. And way to go Missy for not only stepping up, growing up, and being so mature and on top of things, but she also is learning about boundaries! Damn girl! 🔥 I know Mary Cooper loves serving her family so I love that aspect about her, but the boys definitely shouldn’t leave all the house stuff to the women folk, as if they have to be served and waited on. Missy is killing it! 💪

Missy and Sheldon, two sides of the same coin! I hope to talk more about that later! 😉 Now it’s time for...
My Favorite Sheldon Cooper Quotes: Sheldon: "And they laughed at me for not knowing something they knew! Who does that?!" Mary: ". . . you do." Sheldon: "This is no time for a teachable moment! Your child is hurting." Mary: "Sorry." *pats him on the arm* "There there." Sheldon: "I guess that'll do. Now how about a hot beverage?" Mary: 😑
Sheldon: “Oh! I see the problem! This is stupid! You can’t just invent dimensions. There is this one, this one, and this one.” Mei-Tung: “You forgot the dimension of time.” Sheldon: . . . Sheldon: *holds out his hand* Mei-Tung: *slaps it with a pencil* Sheldon: “Ow! . . . Thank you." Sheldon Prime: "I wanted to give up and runaway. But I had read enough comic books to know that heroes don't quit. Instead of running I decided to stay and face the biggest challenge I've ever had: keeping my mouth shut. This turned out to be a pivotal moment in my life. By being open to people smarter than me, I grew as both a man and a scientist. Humble. Brilliant. I really am the whole package!"
