Let’s Talk: The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion

I finished all 40 eps about two weeks ago, actually. I enjoyed it for the most part, the 1st half especially, but there were several things near the end that took me out.

But first some of the good bits...

The cast chemistry was immaculate. Our four main lead actors were a lot of fun together. Not just Zhang Zhehan and Ju Jing Yi, but also Wang You Shuo and Xu Jiaqi (Loved them!). The four of them have such obvious ease with each other after their previous work together in Legend of Yun Xi and it made scenes with any combination of the main four really pop.

I was especially drawn to the sisters’ relationship and the Prince-Vassal bond going on between Prince Su and Little Marquis. (Y’all know I’m a sucker for both sibling stories and stories about fictional royals and their loyal vassals.)

Most of the ancillary characters were interesting, actually. As y’all know from my last post about this one, I was crack shipping like crazy all the side characters. 😂 This cast made it easy for me.

Except for Prince An. (Sorry to hit the bad so early.) Good god, I hated that man. His character was poorly drawn in pretty much every way, which is unfortunate cuz he’s the main antagonist. Any story with a main antagonist that just doesn’t work is always gonna be weaker.

Also, no offense to people who like that actor but he was the only cast member who did absolutely nothing for me in terms of performance. So much of the story was focused on his weaksauce motivation and dry acting like, my god, put me out of my misery I do not care.

Anyway, the set design and costuming was top notch and I even enjoyed the broader story ideas the show was trying to put forth. The sitcom vibe of the first 20 eps or so was SOOO good. Our four mains’ comedic timings were pitch perfect.

Unfortunately, the writing took a sharp nosedive in the back 3rd or so and it had a rough ending. (The lightning strike on the tower scene, the fight in the underground temple, the return of Prince An’s mom...all of that was trash. let’s be real.)

I mostly blame this on three things: the missteps with the Prince An character, the lack of development of Rong’s prophetic dreams even though that was the main premise of the show, and the jump-the-shark moment that was the wedding night and its subsequently underwritten fallout.

Now to clarify, I don’t mean to say the wedding night event shouldn’t have happened at all but rather the execution of it within the story was poor and it negatively impacted 90% of the other character motivations/progressions and the overall pacing.

You know, it felt like that thing you do as a writer where you wake up and have a specific scene in your mind. It’s evocative, impactful, fun, or otherwise intense. But you just have that scene and it’s something that would have to happen in the middle of your story. So you work your way backwards to try to get to that scene and you do your best to get the characters to make decisions to get there but when you sit down to write nothing works out. It’s clunky or OOC for the scene to still happen so you end up having to either scrap the evocative scene or keep the clunky lead up and hope no one notices. That’s what that wedding scene and everything that happened after felt like. They wrote themselves into a corner and just struggled to recover until the bitter end.

The main pairing suffered the most because of the poor writing choices. No matter how much chemistry ZZH and JJY have together, even they could not completely salvage Rong’s yo-yoing behavior with Prince Su. They started off so wholesome and then dove into such toxicity and miscommunication for no reason.

Don’t get me wrong. I can very easily enjoy angst. But Fu Rong consistently broke this man down. After ep 25-26, it stopped being good angst and became so awful to watch all the emotional manipulation and turmoil. There’s something broken in the writing if 9 out of 10 times Prince Su cried or fell into depression it was because of something Rong did or said to him after jumping to a conclusion with only part of the puzzle pieces gathered.

I could forgive some stuff because Prince An was manipulating things but some stuff was just all Rong not giving Prince Su the benefit of the doubt or plain old not doing her due diligence in investigating. She is supposed to have inherited the most prolific and successful spy organization in the show and she still got 90% of her conclusions wrong. It was like she was determined to always think the worst of Prince Su no matter what despite how often he went above and beyond to help her. Despite the fact that he literally had a reputation as a general for being a harsh taskmaster but fair and just.

I think what broke me was when she did the bare minimum investigation into her own father’s death and just fully blamed Prince Su without confronting him honestly or even considering his personality or their relationship up until that point. She really believed a single street seller’s entire testimony over the man she lived with and supposedly loved for months. Girl...

And this is after she’d previously mistakenly accused him of killing her mentor with very few facts to the point where she stabbed him on their wedding night.

There came a point where I actually wanted Prince Su to finally, truly divorce Rong and settle down with someone who could love him right. Maybe give him time to heal from the repeated heartbreaks, betrayals, and the literal stab wound in his chest but he was so fucking in love with Rong, he just couldn’t escape.

(If there were behind the scenes production reasons for the clunky-ness of the back half, I would not be surprised at all but ultimately they don’t matter cuz the story we got was the story we got.)

Imagine if we had gotten a Rong who used her prophetic dreams to navigate the cut throat world of royal politics. Or imagine if we’d gotten Rong as a true apprentice to Ruyi who learned both metalsmithing and spycraft in the first half and took over the pavilion as a competent leader in the second half. As it stands, it just felt like wasted potential.

I’m glad they had the modern day special AU eps tho cuz those were great. Zhang Zhehan and Ju Jing Yi had the opportunity to really showcase their incredible chemistry but in a modern setting and with better writing than the back 3rd of BRYP.

Now let’s talk Zhang Zhehan since he was the reason I started this in the first place. I loved him in this. I truly did. He was stern and serious but also playful and sweet. He was romantic but awkward, badass but vulnerable. He really delivered a nuanced and charming performance. I loved every second.

I think my favorite moment wasn’t some badass fight or even a super romantic moment. No, it was when he got drunk and started crying like a little baby cuz Rong was constantly doubting him no matter what he did. It was simultaneously sad and hilarious. Like gut busting funny. I laughed so fucking hard at this. Oh my god, guys! This shit was too much.

Random Thoughts:

The romance between the 2nd leads was A+. Truly an adorable affair. Though I think they should’ve gotten together officially earlier around ep 25 or so and we should’ve seen the rest with them as a couple.

The costuming was so good y’all. For all the main four characters but I was especially drawn to Prince Su’s outfits.

The ghostly pale look with the bright red lips and eyeshadow makeup for Rong did not bother me at all. I actually liked it for her though I think it would’ve worked better if she’d had more explicit prophetic abilities.

I could’ve used more actual war scenes with Prince Su and Little Marquis.

The OST for the show SLAPPED!

That one kid spy in Ruyi Pavilion was voiced by the same actor as Chengling from WOH and I have never double-taked harder. lmao

Even though there were things I didn’t like in this show, I appreciated how gay I could make it in my last post. Truly it was a bisexual’s dream aesthetically.

Anonymous asked: Hey, Liza! How did you like the ep? I still get chills when watching the diary x video scene and the final one.. Finally the truth is out to both Serkan and Kiraz! And that fragman! 😍 but It seems like Aydan filing for custody will be the new drama, do you think it will last long? Because I highly doubt that they will give solely happy edser and Kiraz in remaining episodes..

My full episode thoughts are here, but I agree the diary and video scene was spectacular. It makes me teary every time.

I’m also psyched that the truth is out. Truthfully, I was one that wanted Serkan to find out at the end of the first episode, but now I concede that it was better to draw it out a bit to really build everything up to this episode and his journey to letting go of his fears. What a character arc they gave him. They really explored Serkan and what drives him this episode and it was a treat-- a painful treat-- to watch it all unfold and for him to finally admit what had driven him to push her away all those years ago and what was still holding him back in the present.

As for what’s next, that’s a great question. I agree that it’s unlikely we’re going to get happy Edser family from here on out, there has to be some obstacles and drama before we get to the end. The Aydan custody drama will clearly be the conflict in episode 5, but I don’t see it as any real barrier for Eda and Serkan. We see in the second fragman that Eda is already confronting Serkan about it, so if Aydan is doing something underhanded they can’t draw it out too long.

I assume that while the custody thing may cause a wee bit of miscommunication between Eda and Serkan, I think it mostly will serve as fodder for Aydan and Ayfer’s relationship dynamic and give the supporting characters something to run around and chase after while Eda, Serkan and Kiraz actually start forming their new family unit. If anything it might serve as a catalyst for Serkan. Picture it, Eda confronts Serkan about it and Serkan is like “I don’t know anything about that, I wouldn’t do something that would hurt you or Kiraz, but I do want her, I want us.” You know, serve to clarify things.

There are probably a few episodes of family drama in store for us as everyone, including Eda, Serkan and Kiraz adjust to this new reality. I assume once the euphoria of having her Baba back wears off for Kiraz, she might ask some questions that are hard for Eda and Serkan to answer. We shall see.

Anonymous asked: i don't think i've cried THIS much at an sck episode... in like ever lmao. i was full on silent sobbing at serkan watching kiraz's baby videos.. but the scene i really loved the most was the one where they have it out after that fancy dinner. it was EVERYTHING we needed to hear serkan's POV and i almost can't believe a lot of us got the "can't have kids" theory right. i have loved so much this season how edser have communicated, even when it's painful and hard.. it was sorely missing for them.

I know! The communication! I don’t think they’ve ever communicated like this. Of course their issues were not as deep and nuanced back in the first batch of episodes so going this in-depth wasn��t necessary, but they didn’t communicate like this when dealing with Babaanne or when it was really needed after the amnesia era.

Honestly, so pleased the “can’t have kids” theory was correct. It goes so far in explaining his actions and thought process when pushing her away, as distorted as that thought process was. It truly was selfless, because I’m sure all he wanted was to hold her tight and never let go, but it was also so unnecessary. Their love story has just been so tragic, but if you think about how many things were stacked against them, it’s also stunning that their love has persevered. They were so opposite and unlikely to fall in love to begin with and then you add in all the things that stood in their way, meddling mothers, family secrets, Serkan’s father being responsible for her parents death, evil, rich, powerful grandmother using everything in her considerable arsenal to keep them apart, psycho stalkers, kidnapping princes, crashing planes, amnesia, brainwashing and abusive exes, plotting “friends,” tumor, cancer, separation!

To come out of all of that and to see they are clearly still in love with one another... well they really don’t have any other choice. They should get married immediately with no pomp and circumstance just so they are legally tied together. So when the next tragic, catastrophic thing comes along it will be that much harder to pull them apart.

Anonymous asked: deniz and burak are the most harmless "3rd party" characters we've ever had in the show that it almost makes me laugh when ppl get so insecure about them.. especially with burak, knowing that he's gonna be melo's love interest, even if i don't want it. like, sure serkan is naturally gonna be jealous, maybe possessive, because of "buba" but it's all being shown right now as light comedic relief.. i've seen some people REALLY take it to heart when it really doesn't seem like it's that deep lol.

I know, it’s all so mild. They also aren’t actually even third party love interests, because there is absolutely zero interest from either side of the main pair. Both are there to a) serve plot purposes and b) show that neither Eda or Serkan is interested in anybody else. It’s nice, we get to see that while they both have had options, neither has been able to move on and both have chosen to remain alone.

As for driving the plot, Burak’s presence was necessary because they needed someone who Serkan thought was Kiraz’s father, and Deniz was necessary because they needed someone who would do whatever Serkan wanted when Serkan wanted to force proximity with Eda.

Looking at the fragman, the real “triangle” might be Buba - Kiraz - Baba but I also think that will mostly be played for laughs. A way to give us some “Drain the pool” and “Burn the flowers” type jealousy moments from Serkan, since that was a hallmark of Ayse’s early writing.

However, I can see why some folks were put-off by that vibe. Because, yes, if you’ve been standing in as a male-figure for the 5-year-old daughter of the woman you’re tying to woo (let’s not pretend that’s not why Burak takes such an interest in Kiraz) and the father that the 5-year-old has been wanting and pining for actually re-enters the picture, maybe you don’t need to force your way in and have “Buba day” the day after he returns. I’m not saying you can’t have it ever again, I’m saying you let the family have some alone time and figure things out. Anyone with any emotional intelligence would postpone such an outing. However, it looks like Serkan is not put off so easily and we know he doesn’t lose, so it will probably lead to humorous scenes.

The good thing about this is that it shows that Serkan won’t sit passively by. Here Burak is giving him an out, Serkan can have his day back, go to work, he can slide into fatherhood slowly, but looks like Serkan is going to have none of that and is going to crash their fishing outing. How’s that for someone who said he wasn’t ready for fatherhood a mere 24-48 hours earlier?

Also it’s worth noting that Kiraz doesn’t see Burak as a father-figure, if she did she probably would have joined Ayfer and tried to get her mom to marry him. Instead she’s been almost obsessed with her father, talking about him, dreaming about him, wanting him and was very quick to correct when someone mistook Baba and Buba. Also she wanted Buba to meet her father. So Kiraz wanting to spend time with him isn’t a slight, in her mind he’s a friend, an uncle and with all the upheaval keeping their plans might feel safe to her. We’ll see.

Ahh... this post that was pinned. Thank you for the kind words, I also love that scene. I just love it because it’s such an EXTRA thing to do, putting on the astronaut costume and making an entrance like that, but both Serkan and Eda have always been so extra that it works for their little family.

I love that he made Kiraz’s dream come true in the most dramatic way possible. But beyond being dramatic, it was the perfect way to signal that no matter what fears or hang-ups Serkan had, he’s committed to getting over them and he’s ready to go all in on fatherhood. A perfect way to show not only Eda that he’s serious, but to show all their friends and family he’s serious. DO YOU HEAR THAT, AYFER? He’s back and he’s going to be her daddy, and there is nothing you can do about it!

Anonymous asked: do you think the writers goal is to make us hate Ayfer and Aydan? because its just a deeper and deeper hole for these two and I don't understand if they're supposed to be a happy family at the end. I actually realized going back that Ayfer never really developed into liking Serkan/Edser, she just accepted him one day and that was that but with Aydan, her character development was top tier up until episode 29 came along and she never recovered. Now I just want them gone.

LOL, I think this is a pretty popular sentiment among fans.

Personally, I need to see how badly Aydan is meddling in the next episode. If it’s fairly inept meddling that just causes some mild misunderstandings but also serves as a catalyst for an Edser conversation about the future, I probably won’t get too upset with her. However, if her meddling is more competent this time and she gets them into real trouble or causes real problems, then I’ll get annoyed with her. Although, I have to say if we need a few episodes of drama, I would rather this sort of controlled, family drama (meddling mamas causing a misunderstanding about custody) then, you know, other melodramatic things that certain other writing teams used to do... like kidnappings and obsessed stalkers.

As for Aydan, I can’t help it, even though I can never forgive her transgression in 29, I feel sorry that she lost out on so much of her granddaughter’s life. So if she wants to come in and cause headaches and drama for Ayfer (not Eda, Kiraz and Serkan... but Ayfer) then I have no problem with that. As far as I’m concerned those two can run around for the next few episodes playing cat and mouse while Eda/Serkan/Kiraz quietly form a family.

Honestly, I don’t think they want us to hate Aydan, because they give Aydan funny scenes and relationships outside of Serkan with Kemal and Seyfi and even Engin and Piril, but I have wondered if they want us to hate Ayfer. Because Ayfer doesn’t get any redeeming scenes. I mean we’re talking about a woman who managed to raise her orphaned niece and her niece never wanted for love and turned out to be a strong, smart, confidence, successful woman... sooooo she must be awesome, right!?! NOPE. I mean to take a character like that, who had to have been so instrumental in Eda not feeling lonely like Serkan did, but then make her so unlikeable... it has to be on purpose.

This happens in every fandom where the show keeps going and takes turns that some fans don’t like. My best advice is to not expect others to change or to stop watching or stop hate tweeting/posting, but to take steps to change your own experience so they don’t ruin it for you. I can’t tell you how many people I currently have muted on twitter. Lots. I don’t want to see the cynical, nasty tweets day in and day out about this show, the writers etc. Twitter has always been hard to take because so many people post their knee-jerk responses there and often choose to word vomit their first emotional response which for some people is mostly negative. That is true for every fandom, and has been true for this fandom since I started looking at responses there.

So to protect yourself, seek out people who are enjoying the show and post content that you want to see and mute, unfollow or even block those who make your experience worse.

You’ll never regret curating your experience.

Also I don’t really consider this fandom toxic. Sure there’s negativity about the storyline and internal drama about a variety of things, but after you’ve been though shipwars that get hella toxic and include fans trying to destroy actor’s careers and who attempt to use social justice issues to bully their fanon ships into existence on a constant day-after-day basis for years, this is nothing. This fandom is a daisy-lined, sunlight walk in the park in comparison.

I get why she thought he was bad for Eda but often her anger has been unwarranted. Ironic how mad she was at him for keeping a secret from Eda for 2 weeks. I also prefer Aydan over Ayfer, here’s my recent post on it.

The problem is not that Ayfer never liked Serkan, the problem is that Ayfer never care that Eda did like him. Ayfer can dislike him all she wants as long as she doesn’t interfere, but oh wait, she has interfered, time and time again. She’s used guilt and manipulation in attempts to control Eda at every turn, to the point, at times, of not caring that she was forcing Eda to sacrifice her career as well as her love.

It will be interesting to see Ayfer’s response when she realizes Eda is going to let Serkan into their lives. Will she double down on badmouthing Serkan and pressuring Eda not to get involved with him, or will she smarten up and back off? I think we know the answer to that.

You know, as I said above, I’m very curious about this. To be honest I didn’t really expect Eda and Serkan to be at this emotional place by the 4th episode. I mean they’re not totally ready to get back together, but they’ve both made it obvious that they still love one another, and that is kind of a big milestone in a romantic story.

Seriously, my assumption prior to the season was that we’d have these initial finding out episodes, and then Eda and Serkan would still be sort of outwardly pretending that they didn’t want to get back together, or still angry at one another, but then they’d be forced together by Kiraz. You know there’d be some parent trapping, and a handcuff episodes and then Kiraz would manipulate them into living together and we’d get all sorts of domestic sexual tension scenes. Now these things may still happen to some degree, but Edser is starting from a very different outward emotional place than I thought they would be. I assumed we’d get another 4-5 episodes of slow burn, forced proximity before they admitted things and got engaged. But now it feels like their feelings are out in the open and they could decide to get married at any moment.

So we’ll have to see how the writer’s decide to chart their emotional journey over the remaining episodes. One thing I’m sure of, there are some wonderful scenes coming our way.

Oh, yes, as I said here in my episode thoughts, the Engin/Serkan scene is the one that really started me crying on first watch. Anil was really fantastic in that scene and it made me realize how sorely I had missed Serkan/Engin as male best friends who actually talk about their emotions. Where was that guy when Serkan was being brainwashed and manipulated by Selin!?! Oh yeah he was in the hands of inept writers.

Glad the real Engin is back!

Yes, I absolutely think that was part of it. He dealt with the fact that he couldn't have children by outwardly adopting the attitude that he never wanted it, even though he still knew deep down that it’s all he wanted with Eda.

Heartbreaking indeed.

While anything is possible, I don’t see a reoccurrence of his tumor happening because they had a scene where the doctor said he was in perfect health and that since it had been five years he now had the same chance of occurrence as an ordinary person. However, I suppose it’s not impossible that they give him some sort of scare so that he can prove he’s changed and that they won’t abandon his family if that sort of adversity comes again.

Honestly, if I was Eda, I would make him go to therapy as a condition of them getting back together. Make sure he develops some coping skills for the long haul.

Anonymous asked: the ending of the last episode was equivalent to ep 11 but kiraz version for me.. the whole build-up of serkan initially thinking he can't be her father - a good father - and his fears about leaving them both halfway culminating in him saying kiraz is a miracle, that she's perfect.. watching her home videos to showing up WHEN IT MATTERED!! for his daughter.. ugh i'm so glad there was that build-up, but also that it wasn't stretched out over multiple episodes.

Yes, I agree it was all really well done. It did feel like we had all the build up we needed to truly appreciate the moment and to appreciate Serkan’s extraordinary character arc.

He truly rose to the occasion at the right moment, and I love that his grand gesture not only made Kiraz’s dream come true, but it showed everyone his growth and acceptance of his role as her father.

Yes, please! He really liked her! Though she never really liked him, lmao. She could have gotten there with time. Though, I guess if she really likes Burak I can get behind it. And by that I mean I won’t bitch about it too much. No promises. We shall see.

Supernatural S15 | E20

*SPOILERS*

Ok where to fucking start!! FIRST I JUST WANT TO SAY FUCK THE WRITES AND FUCK U ANDREW DABB I FUCKING TRUSTED U THIS HURTS MORE THAN GAME OF THRONES FINAL.

I am not really mad dean died, i guess it was a good choice. I just don't like the way he did. With some boring vampires and a screw...

Then sam who was devastated when eileen disappeared with the snap, never mentioned her again. When they had built a really cute and romantic relationship. He just finish his life sad bc he lost his brother and end up with some woman we don't even know/see. Then we have dean. So out of character, every damn season he did EVERYTHING to bring cas back, everything. But this time he seems like he doesn't even care. And when he gets to his heaven, we see bobby. But no cas, just a little mention (not what he deserved after 12 years, becoming the 3rd lead, being in every photoshoot and poster. And after sacrificing himself FOR DEAN).

For cas we get this declaration of love that misha himself said was "an homosexual declaration” and several cast members said “we all knew cas was in love with dean” but we get no answer from dean. That a little fucking harsh, don't u think!? And I watched the 2 final hoping for something more. We are in 2020 and the way they confessed cas's love and KILLED HIM RIGHT AFTER is very very... ughhh! THAT'S JUST FUCKED UP, MAN.

I am sad bc i really loved the show but this ending is ruined it for me. I could never watch it again (as i wanted) knowing dean's gonna die young, cas will die for nothing (bc he sacrifice for dean to live), sam will be sad growing old without his brother and the family they had built along the years. The sentence "family doesn't end with blood” then getting the ending to show that it's not true bc their heaven is just the 2 together. No cas, no jack, (i can understand for jack, must be busy being god) BUT NO CAS I CAN'T ACCEPT THAT!!

Sorry for the long ass text, i needed to get this out of my chest. Bc that show meant a lot to me and they just broke my heart with the 2 last ep by forgetting every character's development, and just focusing on sam and dean when we know that cas had become a main character too. I feel like all these years meant nothing. But i'd like to point that Jensen, Misha and Jared did an awesome job! (the others too of course) And i don't blame them for the very BAD writing, i now understand why jensen didn't like the ending bc...well neither do I jensen, neither do I...

The only reason i cried was because they had the chance to write 2 beautiful love stories with seileen and destiel and THEY DIDN'T TOOK THAT CHANCE! And especially with deancas (destiel) since they were actually told to "eye fucked” in every scene together, and we all know they both loved each other. I'd like to remind everyone that cas is an angel and don't have any gender. We see dean fuck with hanna but "can't reciprocate cas's love” JUST BECAUSE HE HAS A MAN VESSEL. If cas would have been in a woman vessel they would have been together since season 5... Spn is HOMOPHOBIC for doing this. I'm just so disappointed, and I actually wish they had ended it with episode 18 or 19 that woud've been better than THIS.

I just can't believe my favorite show ended like this... I can't believe it.

Jimin and Jungkook talk a lot about how they “click”. Even in the early days you could tell they had a lot of fun together when Jungkook let himself relax and Jimin wasn’t pushing too hard. As a result of how well they get along, they spend a lot of time together both in a work environment and outside it. Here are just a few of the Jikook dates/hangs that we know about.

Since both boys are from Busan, they have been making the trip home for the holidays together for years now. Here are just a few of the documented instances of them travelling to Busan or back to Seoul from Busan together.

October 28 2017 Jungkook and Jimin went on a trip to Japan together during their time off from BTS. According to a fan that spotted them at the airport, Jimin’s dad, Jungkook’s dad, and Jungkook’s brother dropped them off. You can find more details about this trip in the Big Moments section.

February 15 2018 -Jungkook and Jimin went to an escape room with Jimin’s friend Sungwoon. Jimin and J-Hope had been doing promo in Japan prior to this. Jimin returned to Seoul on 2/13/18 without J-Hope. Jungkook was at Jeju Island with his family until 2/12/18 and returned to Seoul alone. Who knows what they did for Valentine’s Day. I just hope everyone had fun.

July 2018 during filming of S3 Bon Voyage, Jimin and Jungkook used an airport layover to have a breakfast date. Not a super huge STATEMENT but they are cuddly through the entire 11 minute behind the scenes cut and the breakfast itself feels domestic as hell.

October 4, 2018 Jimin posted this to Twitter after Episode 2 of Bon Voyage aired. BTS went on a boat ride together. At the end of the night, Hoseok, Namjoon, Yoongi, and Jin (Taehyung hadn’t arrived yet) got off the boat and Jimin and Jungkook went back out to watch the red moon together. During the episode, the Big Hit editors put [Star, Wind, and Romance Mood] as the caption for this date. (Filming was in summer of 2018)

November 25 2018 BTS returned from their Osaka, Japan concerts to Seoul. Jungkook and Jimin immediately went skating at the famous Lotte World Ice Rink together. The video was filmed by a person who claims to have seen them in casual passing and recorded them, but many people believe they are a sasaeng (stalker fan). We’ve decided to include it here. It’s been spread around so much at this point that it’s easily googleable.

June 5 2019 Jimin’s friends came to London to watch BTS perform at Wembley Stadium. Jimin and Jungkook went out with them for a day of eating and sightseeing. Especially meaningful when you consider that Jimin has said in the past he doesn’t really like sharing his friends group with anyone.

May 29 2019 went to see Avengers Endgame together. Jungkook loves Iron Man. Jimin said he cried at the end.

Late August/Early September 2019, Jimin decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Paris with a friend at the end of August. On August 31st at about 9:15 pm Paris time (5:15 am on September 1st in Korea, aka Jungkook’s birthday), Jimin posted a video to Twitter wishing Jungkook a happy birthday.

Meanwhile, actual Jimin was on an 11 hour flight back to Seoul to surprise Jungkook for his birthday. We learn from a vlive Jimin posted on his own birthday in October, that he got in late that evening, went straight to Jungkook, then got up the next day to get on another flight to Hawaii for a pre planned trip with a different friend. The things we do for love.

Speaking of literally no one would take an 11+ hour flight to spend a couple of hours with their co-worker on their birthday, let’s move on to Boyfriend Privileges!

Gintama live action 2 movie review Part 3 of 3...SPOILERS!

Again, you should probably read Parts 1 & 2 first cuz now it’s like you’re starting a movie when it’s already 2/3rds over...which you literally are....

That image looks good whether it’s in black and white, animated color or live action.

I ship GinHiji no matter what form they are in, so this moment, where they’re like THISCLOSETOGETHER, of course made me happy.

Ok, I don’t think I’m crazy but this ass pounding scene went on longer than it did in the anime. It was unbelievable, especially how into it Tosshi was. They didn’t include a few of the other abusive moments between Gintoki and Hijikata, but this prolonged scene made up for it.

This happened. I don’t know why cuz I didn’t understand what they were saying, but bless Director Fukuda for finding creative ways to include Zura into the Shinsengumi Crisis Arc. I hope he continues to do that in future movies.

This happened too. Actually in addition to the Evangelion parody, there was another reference to another famous anime when they were in Gengai’s warehouse, but I just didn’t include it. I’ll leave at least one surprise for those of you still planning to watch the movie (you should. Seriously watch it. Totally worth your time and honestly, why are you even spoiling yourself by reading all this? Of course I appreciate that you’re doing that, but please don’t think this is enough so that you don’t have to watch the movie anymore. WATCH IT DAMMIT)

Kagura the Queen saving everyone’s ass. She is really so awesome in the movie, Hashimoto Kanna did her proud.

Baby Itou was adorbs in the manga, anime AND in the movie.

The movie proving Shinsengumi drinking parties are the bacchanalian feasts that we all assumed them to be.

I wanted to take a moment to just say how freaking amazing Nakamura Kankurou was as Kondou. He really was a perfect Kondou. Man went all out in the dramatic moments, totally brought tears to my eyes. I pretty much cried every time Kondou cried. My only lament is that he didn’t have any scenes with Otae. There was a point during the Snack Smile Host portion where he was on a tank screaming about Otae, which I’m sure was him confessing his love all over again, but I would’ve really liked it if they actually interacted cuz the short scenes they had in the first movie were so adorable.

Obviously I loved the movie, but if I really had to point out a flaw, I would say the Bansai fight scenes could have been better scored and his fight with Gintoki could have been better. First, the music in his fight scenes...it was pretty bad. Like, weird, generic 80′s electrical guitar shit. I think they were trying to go for rock and roll, but it ended up putting a damper on what were otherwise really well-choreographed fight sequences. I wish they would’ve just used Otsuu’s music. They didn’t need to explain why, we fans would’ve known immediately. And then his showdown with Gintoki was kind of weird because they inserted a lot of bad CG because of his strings...which were ridiculously thick, as you can see. There were some Matrix slo mo too which...I’m just not a fan of after the first Matrix. I also thought they should have kept the fight near the train instead of bringing it back to Edo since it lacked the heightened sense of urgency in the original scenes where Gintoki was trying to save everyone on the train. But on the bright side, Edo looked freaking amazing....reminded me Xandar in Guardians of the Galaxy.

I cried. I cry every time we get to this moment, but this time, I felt especially sad because I kinda wanted this Itou to stick around for the next movie.

I am so damn glad live action Yamazaki got his opportunity to shine on the big screen because Tozuka Junki was so delightful in Mitsuba-hen. Btw, one big bummer of the bluray set is even though it had a second special features disc, it DIDN’T include the special episodes that were shown on dTV. I was hoping they would be nice enough to include them since the had a whole extra disc, but nope. It was like cast appearance and character profile stuff. Nice of course, but still wasn’t what I was really wishing for. I wish someone would sub those and put them online like they did with the Mitsuba-hen eps.

They were sitting back to back in the manga/anime...I can’t decide if this is better, the same, or worse. It’d be nice if they were at least sitting closer cuz they were closer when they were sitting back to back. I know, I’m insane. Whatever, I loved this movie. I want a third one. And a fourth and a fifth. With this cast and Director/Screenwriter Fukuda.

So, please, Gintama gods, give it to us. And let it cover either the Yagyuu Arc, Vacation Arc or the Baragaki Arc. Or basically any arc that can build upon these last two movies and yet be self-contained AND most importantly, include the Shinsengumi boys and Zura. I would love the Popularity Poll arc to be brought to life, since then Tsukuyo can be involved, lest anyone think I’m purposely excluding her, I’m not, it’s just the Yoshiwara arcs don’t include the Shinsengumi or Zura at all, and I don’t know how they can reasonably add all of them in, even though I would LOVE to see live action Kamui and Abuto too. And the Courtesan of a Nation arc is too involved. Maybe we can do that for the fourth movie. Gods I wish the live action can be an entire series. I could watch this cast act out every chapter of the manga. It’ll be costly, no doubt, but it’d be nice. Omg, except for one dude, wow I almost completely forgot about him because I kind of want to. Live action Takasugi is NO GOOD. I know Domoto Tsuyoshi was (is?) popular, I know he has lots of fans, Sorachi-sama is probably one of them, but holy crap is he miscast as Takasugi. It was actually physically HURTING me to see his scenes with live action Bansai (Kubota Masataka) because Bansai was so perfect in comparison. I mean, everything was just wrong with LA Takasugi...down to the fact that when he first appears in this movie, we see his ugly bare feet and legs first. It was such an off-putting entrance and yet, somehow fitting. I wish they would just recast him since, from what I heard, he didn’t even want to be Takasugi to begin with. But otherwise, everyone’s wonderful. I really hope we’ll get an American release, if not theatrically (though I wish it would be) then at least VOD or BD/DVD so that I can finally understand what everyone is saying through subs.

Anyway, that’s my long-ass review of the second live action movie, Gintama 2: Rules are made to be broken. Thank you for reading, please see it legally when you are able to so that Fukuda-san and his team can make enough money to make another one.

Not sure what ep they're filming right now but there's only so many people Daisy would be crying for and I'm just worried one of the mains is gonna die. Tv, especially agents of shield and Fitzsimmons are honestly one of the things that gives me a little feeling back into my life. It’s as if watching their relationship and friendship makes me feel human for a little and it’s honestly what I count down to each week. I just saw Chloe’s instagram story where she was insanely swollen in the eyes from crying and said sadness is seriously coming this season. I’m terrified this is about fitz or Simmons. Especially with the promo pic of Lil looking sad and Iain never seeming entirely interested sometimes. I’m really deeply worried about their death as they r my fave characters in existence n I think one of them dying would cause a serious break on my part: I know that sounds insane n I’m slightly embarrassed to admit it but I really wanted your opinion on the possibility

So I woke up from my nap and there was a bit of a kerfuffle. Before I forget, IMDB has been updating for 14, so I think that is where they are at right now. I’m starting to suspect that 11-15 could be a smaller pod with the 3rd pod of the season being 15-22.

I totally know and understand that show related anxiety is a real thing, I saw that in full force when they ran the “Fallen Agent” campaign at the end of Season 3. I’m going to do my best to make everyone feel better.

Chloe wouldn’t laugh like that if it was a big cast member being killed off. She said she’d been crying on set all day and she wasn’t upset as she posted that video (so it was Daisy crying not Chloe). She was joking around and laughing. Not something someone would do if one of her good friends/people she sees as family was being let go.

Best example I can give for you here is in Season 3. Chloe knew that Lincoln was getting killed off and Luke was going to be leaving. She was very very sad about it and it showed on her social media interactions.

AOS keeps its spoilers locked down tight, no way Chloe would blow something like a major character dying on a instagram story.

The writers are well aware of how important FItzsimmons are to the fandom and are the heart of the show. Either one of them dying is deal breaker for me, that is my line in the sand and I walk away. Fitzsimmons are referred to the heart of the show so killing off either one of them would be a massive mistake. But in that FItzsimmons are two of their absolute favorite red herrings to use.

I felt both of their absences very strongly in 3 and 4 of this season with Jemma silenced and FItz not there yet.

There are lots of other things that could have meant she had to cry for. Death isn’t the only option here. Someone could get injured, sick, or kidnapped. My current theory is Coulson’s secret and the deal with the Rider come out and what those consequences are going to entail. Daisy losing Coulson, her mentor and father figure, would be a difficult blow for her. It could also have something to do with Inhumans or something about the prophecy we the audience don’t know about yet and it weights heavily on Daisy.

Chloe, Clark, Ming, and Jeff were all at TCA’s last night and were in great moods, again that doesn’t jive with someone major being killed off.

Deke is one I worry about, Radcliffe was killed in 15 last season.

It could also not be story related at all, rather someone on the crew is moving away/got another job.

I know everyone is worried and upset right now and I really hope that Chloe might post a follow up or clarification. Even though she meant it to be a cute/funny video it has upset a lot of fans.

I would be absolutely and utterly shocked if they killed off any regulars 2 episodes after the 100th. It makes no sense to me. And I would have hoped they learned their lesson with the whole Fallen Agent thing where they lost viewers for those closing eps until they knew their favorite was safe.

I just watch ep 6 of Sweet Vicious. I HAVE SOOO MANY FUCKING FEELINGS RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

******Warning spoiler about Sweet vicious if you have not seen this show or caught up to the 6th episode and don’t want spoilers don’t read this*****

*** Also warning to anyone that might be trigger does contain mention of rape and sexual harassment if you feel you might can be trigger by this please don’t read this*****

1st feeling: KILL FUCKING NATE! He just needs to die right now but first have his hands and dick cut off please.This guy makes me sick and feel sorry for the actor that plays him because i will forever see his face as Nate and forever not like the dude. which in way is a compliment since he is play the role that well. I totally just want him to get so fucking fuck up. if they don’t do this im going to pisssssssssssssss like fucking pisss.

2nd feeling: i want to beat up Kennedy right now. Now i know, since Jules didn’t tell her right away and been lying to her about were she has been up to and such, that its hard for Kennedy to do this. But when she said “all i been doing is trying to get you to open up” i was screaming “THE FUCK YOU WERE ARE FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?” it seems like only the past couple episodes she even address she knew something happen to jule that made her change and she ready to listen when she ready but didn’t seem she did before especially at first sign of the change in Jules (right after the fucking fucker did what he fucking did). And now because you finely caught her in lie, which im pretty sure knew but just could admit it, now you not willing to listen????? What the fuck Kennedy WHAT THE FUCKKKKKK!

3rd feeling: To kick Kennedy ass again because not only she kick her so call best friend out after jules said she was rape by her boyfriend did she even think about where the hell she would go? Look i know you are in love with that fucker and thats hard to hear especially since that fucker try to tell you that he had sex with your best friend and feeling betray about that already. so yeah there definitely need time to think thats a lot to handle but holy fucking cow to just fucking do that said you no more friend kick her out, like did you even care if she had a place to stay at? WHAT THE FUCK KENNEDY!!!!!!!!! Look i know emotion are high and there is a lot to process but could at least make sure she had a place to stay. Like “said i call the weed chick and she said she had a place to.

4th feeling: Kick NATES FUCKING ASS again then kill him to only to bring him back to life to fucking kick his ass again to only kill him again because you know he is a FUCKING IS A DISGRACE TO HUMANITY AND SHOULD NEVER BE BORN YOU FUCKING FUCKER!!!!!!!!!

*DEEP BREATHS* now that i got that off my chest it time for the next feeling shall we.

5th feeling : I FUCKING LOVE OPHELIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay there is not enough words on how much i love this girl okay *cries* * grabs tissues* * trumpet sounds echos room* * grabs clean tissue* *wipe eyes* im okay i swear. but seriously this GIRL IS AMAZING!!!!!! she just met Jules not tooo long ago and already is a better friend than so call best friend Kennedy! now i get it she met jule by saw her kick a rapist ass and now helping her with it but she didn’t know right away that for sure that happen to. and once Jules told her she didn’t question it and she didn’t force her to tell her about it or anything. and once fucking asshole rapist came in the store during the lock down she did not hesitate trying get that asshole out or at least give Jules space from him.

And ask Jules what to do about him!!!! this is key because feel so many people are saying its not in her character to not beat up Nate for her and its totally in her character but she doing all this for Jules and Nate getting his punishment needs to be on Jules terms right now. Ophelia knows this she such that good of friend that even though you know in her heart all she wants to do in that moment is kick that boys living ass for doing what he did to her friend she knows it wont help Jules and this whole episode she was caring more about Jules than she was about her maybe getting caught. Before she left to clear her and Jules name she made sure Jules was alright. There is just so much i love i have for this girl. I just hope she gets to have a chance to kick Nate motherfucking ass even if it is just one kick....and a stab..... in the heart, okay maybe not in the heart that for Jules to do.

6th feeling: I want to give Tylor a hug right now. Poor baby not knowing what is actually going on with Jules and all he wants to do is help and understand what is going on. He didn’t yell at her he didn’t get aggressive when Jules said it was done, also he didn’t do it when Jules couldn’t have sex with him even though she gave consent in the beginning but after she push him away all he was worry about is if he did something wrong to make that reaction and that Ladies and Gentlemen is how should react when someone change their minds or realizes they don’t or can have sex with someone.

Tylor is a great man and i feels so bad all i want for this guy is happiness. And for the love god if the writer some how make him a bad guy or change him into a bad guy im gooing to be piss!!! finally a leading male love interest that is not fucking bastard who think their shit don’t stick. That the this male love interest is not into this girl because of what she can do for him. he didn’t go out of his way to try to get this girl to like him. he didn’t follow her around and annoy her to death until she say yes. So many hetero couples on tv have done all of these things and been so tonic for girls and boys to see time and time again that this is the way relationships are when they are not. Not healthy ones at least. FOR THE GOD IF THAT IS RIP AWAY FROM ME IM GOING TO BE PISSS!!!!! Even if him and Jules never date again i hope that they still keep him a good guy and that he will reach out for a friendship with Jules just so he could at least still be close to her if she lets him.

7th feeling: I cant believe there is a show that for the most part i love the men. (not the rapist of course) feeling 8: KILL NATE now a back to feeling 7. Really the main men on this show i have no bad feelings about them. they all seem like really good guys.

Harris being a really good friend to Ophelia though she is not so good him, at time like throwing to high girls at him while he had a paper to write (though if she didn’t he wouldn’t met his girlfriend so good friends she is). Also he brings up the racial bias between the minority on campus how they write and care about people being jump when they are white rich men but not when its a minority regular person that’s not a sport star for the school. I love this guy ( for the life of me i feel like i heard his voice before but i can place where but damn i love his voice he could read me a phone book and would think it was a love story sorry tmi my bad). I really hope when he figures out its Jules and Ophelia that he helps them out i think that would be fun to watch.

Tylor I already said i feel about this guy but can’t help to emphasis this finally a lead male love interest that is noting but good!

Heck the police campus guy i even love now. in the beginning i wasn’t sure about him but after seeing him and Harris teaming up is just a fun site to see. Though now he is let go i hope we still see more of him and Harris together trying to find out who is the vigilante is. He seem like a sweet guy that all he wants to do is be a good cop and when in proves that fuck asshole that run the school gets rid of him because the possibility of uncovering the cover ups of all of these sexual assaults on campus is just wrong. And i really want to give him a hug.

Feeling 8: I REALLY LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! FINALLY A SHOW THAT ADDRESS RAPE AND RAPE CULTURE WITHOUT MAKING LIKE A JOKE. They show that rape victim don’t just get over it just like that. I a lot of shows when they but a character through this they just get over it and never discuss it ever again like it never happen. They don’t do that here. The leads are women kicking ass but not to be sexy but because they feel like its the right thing to do and someone needs to do something. Finally a vigilante show that isn’t a rich white man feeling like he is the only hope to his city has. This show from episode to episode just gets better and better. I love the characters and love the writing it can be funny at times when needed but never trying to be funny or forcing to be funny like some comedy show have done. I really hope this show gets multiple seasons and would be a shame if doesn’t.

Sorry rambling so much about this. I typically don’t do this but i couldn’t keep this inside and when a show doesn’t that you just have to let it out.
