Identify the causes, signs, and symptoms of hypertension
Hypertension is a common clinical condition characterized by elevated blood pressure levels. It is also known as hypertensive heart disease or high blood pressure. Have you ever wondered what the blood pressure (BP) exactly is?
Blood pressure is the pressure exerted on the lateral wells of the blood vessels, precisely arteries, while the blood flows through them. To better understand blood pressure measurements, you must know about systolic and diastolic pressure. Systolic blood pressure denotes the pressure exerted when the heart beats. On the other hand, diastolic pressure is the pressure exerted on the resting state of the heart between the beats. The normal blood pressure of a healthy adult is 120/80 mmHg. Depending on your activity, your blood pressure changes throughout the day. Therefore, the diagnosis of high blood pressure may be made if blood pressure readings are frequently higher than normal. According to the American heart association, systolic blood pressure of 130-139 or diastolic blood pressure of 80-89 is considered stage 1 hypertension. The condition can be managed effectively with early diagnosis, timely treatment, and lifestyle modification.
Causes of hypertension
The major causes of high blood pressure include increasing age, too high salt intake, family history, obesity, lack of exercise, stress, alcohol consumption, smoking, pregnancy, and chronic metabolic diseases. However, the exact pathophysiology of the developing condition is poorly understood.
High blood pressure symptoms
It is challenging to identify hypertension symptoms, especially in the early stages of the condition. However, in the more advanced stages, the patient complains of recurrent morning headaches, nausea, blurred vision, nose blood, shortness of breath, cardiac arrhythmia, ringing in the ears, exhaustion, chest pain, anxiety, and trembling muscles, along with elevated blood pressure.

Hey y’all! Weird question time!
Can getting an injection that includes something you have a food allergy to* make you more sensitized/reactive to that thing, or to your allergies in general, for a while afterwards?
I’m allergic to acetic acid, and there’s acetic acid in the Moderna vaccine (and booster). I still got the vaccine (and boosters), even though I had an allergic reaction every time**, but some things with tiny amounts of acetic acid I used to be able to eat were an issue for a while after each shot***
Oh wait side note: same question but for taking the thing you are allergic to as in inactive ingredient in pill form (found out the hard way that some inactive ingredients in pills are made from acetic acid! still trying to figure out if that’s the thing I was allergic to in that pill, or if I’m just separately allergic to one of the inactive ingredients in it)
*like, not those desensitization shot things allergists can do, but as an inactive ingredient in a different thing
**it was kind of a “better the devil you know” situation. The allergic reaction I had to the Moderna one was unpleasant but handleable. I have no idea if I’m allergic to the Pfizer one, or how bad the reaction would be
***generally not a good idea to eat a food you know you’re allergic to, but I’m on a lot of antihistamines and sometimes you just want refried beans in your burritos even though you know vinegar is on the ingredients list. It’s the last ingredient on the list, and vinegar is only like less than 10% acetic acid, so I can usually tolerate it just fine

NaClYoHo Days 23 & 24
Day 23
usual daily dishes
second doctors appointment this week
sent trial return to work forms to doctor for signing/review
called sister to check in
put in an order to take advantage of the ordinary's slowvember sale
updated Christmas shopping/budget list
Today (day 24)
usual daily dishes, laundry
threw away some expired food
threw away dead table flowers
wiped bathroom counter
moved meat from freezer to fridge so I can try to cook dinner tomorrow
I haven't felt too much more sucky than normal the last couple days, but in addition to thyroid problems and whatever undiagnosed dysautonomic problem I'm having, I also have you-feel-shitty-disease (ME/CFS), so my normal "feeling normal" is already pretty sucky.
If you feel 100% normally and drop to 30%, you feel it! But if you feel 35% normally and drop to 30%, maybe it doesn't impact you as much? idk
Did lots of sleeping and resting yesterday and today, and will hopefully perk up back to normal next week to finish the month strong.

"Yoga for High blood pressure. A Natural Path to Lower Blood Pressure"
Hypertension, often known as high blood pressure, is a chronic medical disease that affects millions of people throughout the globe. It may lead to significant health problems such as heart disease and stroke. Yoga, a centuries-old discipline, has emerged as a comprehensive method to hypertension management. Yoga reduces stress, which is a major factor to high blood pressure, via deep breathing, meditation, and mild physical postures. Yoga's relaxation and mindfulness practices may help to calm the nervous system, reduce cortisol levels, and improve blood flow. Yoga practice on a regular basis may help to maintain healthy blood pressure and improve overall cardiovascular health.
