Sleepless In Free Town

Cobb got home late from a long shift at the local precinct. All he really wanted was to relax and fall asleep. He turned on the small radio in his living room as he set about throwing some food into the microwave, only half paying attention to the noise of the radio until.
"Well folks, looks like we have a caller. Do you have some story about love you want to share good listener?"
"Is this the radio station?"
"Why yes it is. We were having a discussion about love tonight, with valentines so close, so tell me young man, do you have a story for us?
"It's my dad, he's lonely."
Cobb took his food out of the microwave, looking towards his radio now, his interest piqued. The boy on the phone sounded young, maybe around 6 or 7, and it's not often you hear one phoning in to talk about their dad being lonely.
"He's lonely? How come?" The radio announcer asked, sounding interested in the boy's story as well.
"Well my dad spends a lot of his time looking after me and whenever we pass by people being lovey he looks at them. I think my dad needs somebody to love and I think it would be cool to have another parent."
"Well then it sounds like your dad needs to be set up on a date, tell me kiddo is he nearby?"
"No, he's busy right now. I just want my dad to be happy because he always makes sure I am. And sometimes at night I know he lies awake from bad dreams, he pretends he's okay but I think it's adult stuff and he needs someone to help him feel better and happier."
Cobb was deeply intrigued by the sounds of the boy's father. There was just something about the sounds of the lonely man that resonated with him, sparked his own lonely feelings along with other ones that he intended to shove deep down inside of himself. And something about the boy's voice just seemed so familiar to Cobb, almost like the son of his neighbour across the street, Grogu. However it couldn't possibly be Grogu, the kid didn't talk much and even then only talked to people he really liked, and that would also mean that his neighbour, Din, who Cobb had been hopelessly pining over ever since he moved into Free Town, was in need of someone to love and Cobb wasn't sure he could handle the hope that would bring him. He supposed it just came down to the kid being young and he honestly found that a lot of kids sounded similar when they were young, no, it couldn't possibly be Grogu.
"Well tell you what son, put your dad on the phone and we'll see if this is something he wants." The radio announcer said.
"Oh uh my dad is coming back now, I gotta go. I'm supposed to be in bed, bye." The boy said before hanging up. Cobb blinked as he realized he'd been so focused on the radio that his food had gone untouched and was now cold again. He sighed and set it aside, he'd been deeply intrigued by the idea of a little kid being so concerned for his dad being alone that he'd called in trying to find his father someone. Clearly he wasn't the only one intrigued, as dozens of other people were calling into the radio station now, men and women, claiming that they would happily be with the boy's father and to find a way to contact him. He listened to a few more people call in, asking if the station had any way of calling the boy back before he turned off the radio and headed off to bed. He couldn't help but imagine what it would be like if Grogu was the little boy who phoned in and Din was in need of someone. He would happily agree to helping Din be happier, but he knew deep down there wasn't a chance in the world that someone like him was single, or that he would want someone like Cobb.
____________________________________________________
A few days later and Cobb, as well as the town were still abuzz with intrigue about the father of the boy on the radio. Free Town was a small town, and the station was a local one that wouldn't play in other towns, so obviously it was somebody who lived in town. There were even some people going around posting flyers on posts and window fronts asking for the father to call them.
"Lot of interest over this mystery man huh'?" Cobb asked, looking over one such flyer as he followed his neighbour into the store.
"Yeah I suppose." Din mumbled, watching as Grogu grabbed one of the kid carts and started to push it around. Cobb had bumped into Din as he was leaving his house that morning, and since it was a rare day off for the marshal he decided to just go to the store with Din to both get himself groceries and help the man look after his son, who was a pure bundle of energy.
"Gotta admit I am curious who it is. I mean who couldn't resist a man like that." Cobb said as he steered Grogu away from running his cart into a stack of cans on the outside of an aisle. He'd decided to try and see if it was Grogu who called, just to see. Even as his heart already ached knowing that it couldn't possibly be. Afterall, he'd seen how close Din could be with his friend, Fett. Din blinked a bit and looked at him curiously.
"You're into...that?" Din asked awkwardly. Cobb laughed a bit, grinning over at him.
"Men or people who are good with kids? Because yes to both." He replied, missing the way Din's face turned red as he got distracted by Grogu. "Hey kiddo don't touch those." Din snapped his head over to look at his son and moved quickly, pulling him away from the lobster tank.
"But dad-" Grogu whined quietly up at Din who shook his head.
"No buddy, Cobb's right. Don't touch them." He said, setting the boy back down. Grogu pouted and looked ready to whine again when Cobb stepped in.
"Tell you what, if you behave I'll buy you a chocolate bar. As long as that's okay?" He added, looking over at Din who smiled softly and nodded. Grogu instantly started to smile and squealed softly in excitement.
"Thank you." Din whispered, smiling at Cobb who smiled back at him and winked.
"Anytime partner." He started to follow after Grogu who'd run off again but stopped when he felt a hand on his arm. He turned to look up at Din who was looking at him strangely. "You alright partner?"
"Cobb....what you said...if, if you knew who the person was, would you actually date him?"
"Well I mean, while he does sound just like my type, there is someone who's got my heart." Cobb said lowly, studying Din's face for any kind of clue, and give away at all that maybe his hopes could be answered. Din looked down for a moment, a look of disappointment crossing his features for a brief moment before it was gone. He looked ready to say something, but then Grogu was back carrying some things that definitely weren't on Din's shopping list and whatever moment they were having was gone.
__
"Thank you again for your help." Din said, watching as Cobb set down the last of his groceries onto the kitchen counter inside Din's home. Grogu sat nearby eating the chocolate bar that Cobb had bought for him. Cobb nodded and turned to leave.
"Ain't no problem neighbour. I'll see you two later." He said, waving a goodbye to Grogu before leaving the house. He got just outside when he heard footsteps behind him and turned to look at Din who'd followed him, that odd look on his face again that Cobb just couldn't read.
"Before, when you...when you said someone has your heart...can I ask who?" Din asked, looking at him with those soft brown eyes that had captured Cobb's attention from the first moment he'd looked into them. Cobb licked his lips and looked down, it was now or never he supposed. Best to just rip off the bandage, let his heart get broken so he could maybe finally move on.
"You" He whispered softly, and he was sure Din hadn't heard him at first, then suddenly hands were on his face, then lips were on his. He blinked in shock before quickly reciprocating the kiss, going until they were both left breathless. "I take it this means you like me too?" Cobb half joked. Din huffed out a laugh and nodded.
"Yes. I just didn't think you were..."
"Into men? Or into you?" Cobb offered when Din trailed off.
"Both."
"Well I thought you and Fett were possibly a thing."
"No, he's just a friend. It's always been you." Din said before Cobb kissed him again. When they broke apart again they were both smiling brightly.
"You know, I had hoped it was you being talked about on that radio show." Cobb said softly.
"You did?"
"I did, because it meant that just maybe I'd have a chance with ya."
"Well now you have your chance."
"That I do, and I don't plan on letting it go." Cobb said, leaning in and capturing Din's lips with his again, pouring every ounce of adoration he felt for the man into it. And finally, he felt happy, and so grateful that Grogu had gone behind Din's back to make that call because it had lead to this. And Cobb never wanted this moment to end.

headcanons din djarin jado courted by a yautja female
Tumblr media Tumblr media
• You were companions since Grogu arrived.
• At first he saw them as a strong and important companion, which he liked.
• He saw that he didn't have to rescue you like a damsel in distress, you were a tough warrior to break.
• despite your intimidating appearance you were very gentle and delicate with grogu
• That child saw you as his mother and you saw the poor guy who said otherwise.
• Over time I developed feelings for you but I thought you would never notice a human.
• Compared to your species he was not tall or as strong as them, even you were taller than him.
• What he didn't know was that he had you eating in the palm of his hand.
• One day while he was walking through the market buying groceries he saw a flower with thorns, it reminded him of you.
• When he arrived at the ship he gave it to you.
- Hey din, did you swallow the meat I asked for?
- yes *handing you the bag*
-thank you
- I also brought you this* taking out the flower*
- *taking the plant in your hands*
- it reminded me of you
- *purring as he goes to his cabin to put it away*
• He thought you were upset by your purring, he thought it was growling.
•but you only went to leave the flower in a container so that it wouldn't wither
• From that day you started courting him.
• When you had farms I gave you bones from your prey
• you even made bracelets together with grogu
- What do you think, Grogu, this one or this one?
- uhh * pointing to a fang*
- what a good style you have, darling
• Poor boy, he didn't understand why you gave him such a thing but he accepted it.
-*handing him the bracelet*
- Eeh thanks * heading to the cabin *
- *looking at Grogu with happy purrs* he liked me
• Until you noticed that he never wore it, you thought he didn't like it.
• but he always had it in his pocket
•He began to notice how you tried hard in the hunts to impress him.
• also how you became more jealous and possessive when a woman approached him
- *din buying ammunition* how much does this cost
- 100 credits *looking flirtatiously* and tell me, Mandalorian, do you have a partner?
- sorry *looking at the woman*
- You know, are you alone?
- He already has a partner * you answer him while you pay him, growling at him * he's not alone, he has me
- Are you a woman?
-Hey, don't talk to him *defending yourself*
- ell-osde'pauk cjit ooman
• With that I began to suspect that maybe you had feelings for him.
• You didn't say a word to him all day long, you were upset about that woman.
• you were indifferent for a few days
• Din Avese asked Grogu what was wrong with you.
• until one day walking through Tatooine he saw another yautja
• had to find the courage to talk to you since he learned from you that they don't have to be bothered
• At first the male yautja ignored him until he told him that he had a friend of the same species.
• Had caught his attention, he asked Din about your behavior. He started to pay attention until he asked him.
- Does she try to impress you in battles?
-yes he even gave me a bone bracelet
- *suffered laughter* pff
- what is so funny?
- oh ooman *laughing*she is courting you
- she what?
- those are courtship rituals in our species
• after the yauja advised him he went straight to see you
• You had put Grogu to sleep when Din came in.
•you could notice how he tensed
- what's the matter?
- I have a gift for you
- a gift?
• He took out a necklace of fangs and bones
- I didn't know you were courting me so I returned the favor.
- *purring* are you courting me?
- Yes Cyar'ika I love you* showing you that she is wearing the bracelet that I made for her*
- *purring with happiness*
• He took off his helmet, he didn't care about breaking his creed, he wanted you to see it.
• You did it too, he wasn't afraid of you but administration.
• resting his forehead against yours while you purred.
• Now I understood that they were purrs and not growls.
-you are beautiful
- I adore you so much setg'in
• He knew that you would not allow yourself to be courted by any other ooman or yautja.
• only with him
• In the shadows you could see a little boy happy that his parents love each other.

I probably won’t write it, because it seems like so much work, but any modern au fics for the Mandalorian that change Grogu to be a human baby are missing out on the hilarious potential of some tough-as-shit biker/bounty hunter stumbling across a crashed UAP with a little green alien inside and going “I guess I have a baby now?”

Not including humans bc that’s boring. Also not including Twi’leks or Pantorans bc those are too close to human imo and they would be too popular. This is rigged according to my bias. If you really want to be a twi’lek or pantoran (or, goodness forbid, a human), vote other and say that in the tags.

Good Dad Paz pt 3
one | two
whew, this one fought me a bit at the end there. definitely doesn’t have anything to do with the fact i haven’t slept yet tho
considering adding ‘vod’ to the list of untranslatable Mando’a, it has a level of camaraderie/brothers-in-arms feel that just brother/sister doesn’t really convey well enough. maybe in the edit, if i ever edit
---
Paz didn't like seeing Din wounded.
It was unnatural, their covert's best Hunter laying so silent and still. Din was quiet, but he was also a man of action: he never seemed to stay in one place long enough to rest, for good or for ill. He was always in motion, coming and going on his bounties, talking quietly with the foundlings, helping out around the covert.
But Din had barely stirred when Paz pulled him out of the weird creature's cage, limp and insensate from whatever he'd been injected with. Paz did his best to make him comfortable, using his ratty old cloak as a pillow and placing him gently near the fire, but there wasn't much he could do other than wait.
Wait, and stand guard, as he always had.
"He'll be fine, little one," Paz rumbled, sitting with his back to the wall in view of the entrance, Din laying next to him. The foundling cooed unhappily and tucked his head against his father's neck; as soon as Paz had placed him there, Din had curled around the child, protective even in sleep.
"Patoo."
"I've seen him get through worse than this," Paz replied mildly, "And I'm guessing you have, too."
"...leh."
"That's what I thought."
Most of Paz's supplies were topside with his ship, but he did keep emergency rations on him at all times - even if the emergencies tended to just be 'a foundling is hungry'. He set aside one of the ration bars for Din; for the child, he mixed some of his canteen water and a packet of nutrient paste together in the cup from his field kit, setting it near the edge of the fire to warm.
He didn't actually know what the kid ate - or even what species he was - but going with something hard to choke on was generally a safe bet with babies.
Din started waking up by the time the broth was finished; Paz tested the temperature with an un-gloved finger before handing it to the little one. He reached over to place his hand flat on Din's chest at the sound of a muffled groan.
"Easy," he said. "You're safe."
"Wha-- Paz?"
"Your child is also safe," he added, as if said foundling wasn't slurping noisily right next to Din's head.
"Grogu..?"
Aha, finally, a name for the kid. It sounded familiar, so Din had probably said it at some point before, but Din said lots of things that Paz tended to ignore.
Din tilted his helmet toward him.
"Paz?"
Paz frowned.
"Do you have a concussion?"
"...no?"
Reassuring.
Din struggled against the hand on his chest, and Paz reluctantly helped him sit up. He dropped the canteen and a ration bar in Din's lap and shuffled around so they were back-to-back, Din propped against him in a heavy weight that Paz didn't mind bearing.
"Drink something. And eat, if you can stomach it. You need to replace whatever that thing took out of you."
Mostly blood, from what Paz could tell, but he admittedly didn't look too closely.
Din grunted in assent; Paz heard the cap of his canteen unscrew, and the soft hiss of a helmet seal disengaging. He kept his gaze straight ahead, idly scanning the room.
"Found your kid topside," he said. "He led me down here to you. Smart little thing."
"He is," Din agreed softly. His voice sounded even worse without the vocoder modulating it, rough and tired and strained: vulnerable, in a way that their armor was designed to conceal.
Paz stood guard while Din ate, a hand on the assault cannon at his side, his body blocking the view from the entryway. But the sewers stayed calm, just the crackling of the fire and the child's happy coos interrupting the companionable quiet. He waited until he heard Din pull his helmet back on, and the soft sizzle of a wrapper being disposed of in the fire.
Then he waited some more.
"Paz," Din said, eventually, "What are you doing here?"
"Saving your sorry ass, obviously."
Din snorted, uncontrolled and undignified, and thunked his helmet ungently against the back of Paz's.
"Paz."
Paz sighed, tapping his fingers one-two-three against the barrels of his cannon.
"The foulding you saved," he said. "The one who was swearing the Creed."
Din hummed in inquiry.
"He is mine."
"Oh," Din breathed. "Oh, Paz, that's wonderful. Congratulations."
Paz grinned widely beneath his helmet, ducking his head a little. The fierce pride he felt whenever he looked at Ragnar, when he remembered that he'd been gifted with a child of his own to cherish - it still surprised him, sometimes, the depth of the emotion. He'd always loved the foundlings in their covert, would have happily died to protect them - but something about having Ragnar as his son made him want to live.
"I came in second, as usual," he groused good-naturedly. "You'd already gone and found yourself a child first."
"Ah, that's...not quite correct."
Paz blinked.
"What?"
"I mean I haven't, yet," Din said. "He's not mine, not really. I haven't sworn the words to him."
Paz blinked again.
Then he twisted around to stare incredulously at his utter idiot of a brother.
"You what?"

"Pedro Pascal is making me want to write edgy Mario fic"
Now i am very, very curious of what you would write because you usually write such fluffy Mario fics 👀
Oh you mean from this? 🤭
I do love writing sweet fluffy stuff more than anything else, but I can't deny there has always been at least a little bit of an animal inside that wants to explore some darker concepts 😳
I actually have a couple of ideas that go in a darker direction, but none of them have been fully fleshed out exactly. Sometimes I'll get started writing on something only for my muse to abandon it in favor of something else. So I'll just write down as much of the idea as it comes to me in the hopes that my darting, buzzing fly of a brain will come back to it sometime. It's worked before with stories like with Love Story, What They Don't See (which I have more plans for 👀) or Fresh Air particularly. But what I have published is not even half of the ideas I want to write 😭 So sometime maybe I'll end up having the inspiration (and nerve) to fully commit to a darker storyline, maybe even one with a bad ending.
For the Pedro Pascal (😩💘) thing in particular, a post-apocalyptic Mushroom Kingdom setting would be so fun to explore. I automatically think of the Mushroomy Kingdom stage from Super Smash Bros Brawl where everything was bleak and uninhabitable. Assuming it's a sort of "bad ending" premise where Bowser successfully takes over the Mushroom Kingdom in a disastrous war and Princess Peach was forced into hiding, that kind of leads me to try to fill in the hole of who Mario is in this story and why he doesn't know of her already since he apparently has notoriety himself, albeit at a possibly more illicit angle. Maybe he's a stranger to the Mushroom Kingdom (whether he's from our Earth or not) and the MK was sort of a mysterious/mythical state to the rest of the world before it was taken over by Bowser. How he wound up there might have to do with being stuck or trapped or even an attempt at retiring from the life he had before. (smuggling? bounty hunting? etc)
Maybe Peach is trying to get to the legendary Rainbow Road because it would allow her to access her magic power that has been severed due to Bowser's destruction? So she needs a reliable transport there since she can't navigate the dangerous overworld on her own. If she were able to access her power again, she would easily be able to oust Bowser and return the Mushroom Kingdom to its former lush, peaceful state. And Mario, perhaps a hardened and initially cold person due to rough experiences/loss, is called upon to assist this vulnerable character (just like Mando or Joel 🥺)
I'm so weak for an initial "refusal of the call" trope where the calloused character ends up changing his mind *of his own accord* (even if he pretends its a nuisance) just by virtue of experiencing the warmth and life of the innocent character. It accesses something soft inside him that he maybe believed was dead, or that he was never allowed/able to have before in the first place. In this case, Mario would see Peach's gentle kindness toward her suffering citizens and even towards himself, and it would open up a new world of possibilities in his heart 🤧💖
Along the way, they get assistance from old friends with Toad and Yoshi, and maybe even a bittersweet reunion with Luigi who has holed himself up for survival in an abandoned mansion. And as they get closer and closer to being able to travel down Rainbow Road, it becomes clear that a grand battle with Bowser is inevitable 🔥 And Mario, with newly accessed warmth and love in his heart, doesn't hesitate to march into battle for a Princess who believes in him 🌟

Look. That episode Mando episode.
Man, i´m not even angry, i´m just disappointed , cause I KNOW how good this show can be. Specially this season that´s, supposedly, gonna revolve around what it means to be a Mandalorian and Mandalore's history
Din is such an interesting, compeling and complex character and he could be so much more if only THEY- JUST. LET. HIM.
They are completely misunderstanding what´s what drove people to Mando at first. Yes, it´s cute to see this bounty hunter begrudgingly take care of a jedi baby BUT the show is SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT! It was about dissecting this misterious and closed off character who´s being through so much, it was seeing how all that trauma that he has - that made him separate himself from everything and everyone - was what ultimately helped him connect with Grogu. It´s lovely to see him open up little by little knowing he shouldn't, knowing that a goodbye is imminent. It was complex, it had layers.
And Grogu. I know everyone jokes about how he was just made to sell toys and i thought so as well before starting the show a few years back. I used to really hate him and all the fuss everyone was making around him being a cute baby, but when i finally watched the show, i sat captivated and saw it was so much more. He´s more than just cute baby, he is a survivor ,just like Din, and has lived through so many things. His story is so interesting and he could be much more than a “marketable sw mascot”, but again, THEY ARE NOT ALLOWING THEM THAT!
It´s so frustrating watching this first episode and see both our main characters being reduced to “cute baby” and “dad”. They feel as they have no agency. And damn my brain for making me think this, but i felt, watching this episode, as i felt watching the last Jurassic World movie. Everyone is a diluted version of their character, everyone moves and does whatever the plot and script needs them to do without any explanation or reason to why or HOW they did it and everything just moves SO FUCKING FAST for no reason.
The first 3 episodes of the 1st season were such bangers cause they were the total opposite of this one. They were paced so well, letting viewers experience events along the characters, they made an amazing use of Show not tell (cof cof what do you mean Grogu was away from Din for around a year, Favreau cof cof), they introduced a conflict in a natural and organic way, and most importantly, they trusted the audience to understand what was happening without having a character explain it as we were a bunch of idiots or smth.
Think about that scene in the 3rd episode when Din decides to take Grogu back from the imperials. We, as an audience, understand (without seeing the guy´s face) what´s going on in his mind in that moment; the doubt, the regret, the decision, everything just through body language, well done cinematography and music. We didn´t need Din or someone else going “you felt bad so you went back for him”, no, we just understood, and the show trusted us to understand that, to come to our own conclussions and understanding of the scene and motivations of the characters. AND WE HAD JUST MET THE GUY.
The difference here from last episode is that they gave us something to work with and, watching the episodes, you understand Din´s final decision.
Now we just don´t know what the hell Din´s thinking, and not because of a mystery or to build tension, it just feels as if Din is a weird NPC that moves the story forward and is there only to show us cool action scenes, cameos and Mandalore lore, without relating to anything. He feels as if he´s just not thinking at all, not as being stupid, but just as if he literally had no mind of his own, no opinions,no feelings, no nothing. And Grogu is just..there, i guess. Being cute and that´s all.
Also, not as important as the narrative and script issues i had with the episode but, when i first watched The Mandalorian - begrudgingly, i must add, as i actually hated star wars but a friend of mine kept insisting that i gave it a try - i was amazed at how detailed the effects were, how everything felt alive and lived in. I remember rewatching again and again the scene where Din lands the Razor Crest in Arvala 7 and just admire the detail of the dust and water moving with the ship´s power, the way everything felt so real. Everything in the 1st and 2nd season ( i have my issues with the effects in season 2 as well but they´re still okay, imo) felt alive, real. And wow, what a downgrade this episode was.
For a show with a ridiculous budget it´s not showing at all. The kid helmet at the start looked like a toy (i can let it slide cause it´s literally brand new so you could argue there´s no reason for it to not look all shiny and clean), the alligator was okay, i guess, but didn´t feel nearly as real as the  Krayt Dragon from S2, and the rest...to be honest, not surprised at all. I kept getting thrown off by the straight up green screen feel of the Greef vs Random Pirates scene (Also an unnecessary scene, tbh, felt like an escuse for a “cool star wars space battle ™” ). The Mandalorian castle was cool, tho, i guess.
I´m not dissing the people who worked in the show´s Visual Effects at all, btw. I know they can do amazing things, cause they have, i´m sure it was more of a direction and studio issue.
It surprised me how Mando´s episode in TBOBF felt much more interesting, well paced, compelling and true to Din´s character than this episode.
I know it might be way too early to judge the season as we only have this 1st episode but it´s not looking too good, Mando nation.
I want to be clear, I´m not saying everything sucked, either. I´m just frustrated cause this is my favourite show, it means a lot to me and i just want it to be as good as i know it can be.

din dijarin with a yautja female s/o jealous of bo katan
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Din had spent more time with Bo Katan than with you. It didn't bother you that he spent time with other people, but the feeling that they were the same species bothered you.
You were never worried about your appearance, you were always proud of your body but when she arrived you began to compare yourself with her. You didn't have hair but dreadlocks, almost the same as the Nautolan. She had delicate skin. Your skin was more muscular with scales, some of which were rough and full of scars. She had lips and you had jaws that stuck out.
you hated feeling insecure you didn't want to feel that way but you couldn't help it and just thinking that she could kiss and you could never do that hurt you.
You were sitting outside your ship when you saw Din return with Bo Katan. They were laughing as they walked towards you. You could feel your blood boiling.Bo Katan: Hello Y/N.
y/n: hello s'yuit-de
She frowned without understanding what what you said meant, looking at Din.
din: means friend
he said looking at you
Bo Katan: Ohh well I have to go bye bye burc'ya
She said dismissing you, you nodded your head as she left.
Din: That was rude.
y/n: well for me it was funny
you said getting up heading inside followed by din
Din: And Grogu?
y/n: sleeping
din: in my cot or yours?
y/n: if you had been here you would know where he sleeps
Din: What's wrong with you? what is your problem
y/n: she is my problem
You said as you walked to the cabin leaving Din confused.
din left you alone for a moment before going to see you
you were in the cabin looking into space until you noticed his presence
y/n: what do you want?
din: I want to talk
y/n: why don't you go with her?
Din: What do you have against her?
y/n:* growling* all of her
din: what
y/n: look at me, I'm a creature with scaly skin, big jaws and claws and she's...
din: is it?
y/n: *slight growl* grr forget it
Din stayed thinking until he realized he started walking until he stood in front of you while he took off his helmet showing a smile of amusement you looked at him poking his hands on yours
y/n: what's so funny?
Din: Cyar'ika, are you jealous? He said, letting out some giggles, you looked away from Asia to the other side.
Y/N: Why would I be? I'm a respectable warrior, I'm not intimidated by a weak ooman.
din: ok whatever you say my powerful warrior
He said, kissing the back of your hand. He got up to leave but you stopped him and sat him on your lap, hugging him while you purred.
y/n: your warrior? *releasing purrs*
din: I only have eyes for you ad'ika
Kissing your cheek, you began to rub your cheek on his head without him realizing that you were leaving your scent on him so that other species would know that he is yours.
y/n: I also have eyes on you my sweet ooman
