the long ass hallway din has to walk down to talk to bo katan is objectively so funny. can you imagine being bo katan and all your dreams and plans are shattered by this pathetic loser dad ON ACCIDENT and now you've lost your fleet and everything and you're sulking in your giant palace and who do you see but the same pathetic loser dad who shattered your dreams walking towards you with his son. and you have to sit there and watch them walk towards you because its a long long hallway

“the armorer is evil and is working with moff gideon”

the armorer watched the empire slaughter the original covert on nevarro and absolutely refused to abandon her forge out of respect for the dead. she then had to build an entirely new covert from the fucking dust (and paz vizsla, i guess) which probably took her YEARS to do. not to mention, she has had to relocate her entire. fucking. forge. THREE TIMES in the process. she’s also ruthlessly decked imps and pirates (who were hired by the empire) several times as we’ve seen. yes, she’s strict with din, but who wouldn’t be? she witnessed the entirety of the covert lay down their lives for him and grogu. and even after all was said and done, she welcomed din, grogu, AND bo with open arms once they were reedeemed. i think it would be so incredibly out of character for her to be this scheming mastermind working for the empire. she’s someone who embodies such strong heart and discipline; she’s an amazing representation of their strain of mandalorian culture. tldr: don’t EVERR talk about my WIFE that way.

The Armorer really said “Bo-Katan Kryze, I’ve deemed you so fucking hot I’m willing to rethink my entire way of existence and the religion I’ve adhered to my whole life for you.” And honestly, I respect it.

This is the way...

The amorer is such a fascinating character to me! With the little bits we’ve gotten through the series she’s been shaped into an interesting part of Mandalore and a fun counterpart to Bo Katan. I wanted to draw how I imagine her journey in little important bits. I like to think she was amongst the Mandalorians exiled to Concordia when Satine’s new Mandalorians won the civil war. (I definitely think the tribes exist from before the clone wars, because Din had to end up in one of these to never see a Mandalorian taking their helmet off through his life as a foundling).

I know it sucks that she has banished Din, but it was their adherence to the creed what kept them alive so far, I find reasonable that she’s so harsh when it comes to it. And she still let him keep the dark saber despite not considering him a Mandalorian anymore, which I find super interesting. Emily Swallow, the actress who plays her, once said in an interview that the Armorer sees the potential that Din doesn’t see in himself.

I can only pray there’s a lot of nuance in the way they write her next xD I really don’t see her as a villain at all.

Anyway I had so much fun with this!! and it took me like...half a year to finish it cuz I’ve been so busy kajshdkaj finally it’s done!!!!!
