I just got to the whole Fogbound Lake part of the story where Team Skull is about to gang up on you and your partner and like. Idk if this is a common headcanon or just smth I’ve personally believed for years but. When Wigglytuff comes charging out of the woods chasing his Perfect Apple at the EXACT moment Team Skull was about to attack you…that cannot be a coincidence. I bet you he was probably standing by the entire time, probably even before Team Skull came out of hiding, watching his apprentices solve the mystery of the Groudon Statue…and then when Team Skull revealed what absolute assholes they were, and even hinted at what took place in Apple Woods…he was probably like oh NO they don’t. Not MY apprentices. Not MY guild. So he chose to come running in at that exact moment. And played the oblivious buffoon card right up until the very end, and promptly served Team Skull’s asses to them on a platter.

I mean we get lots of little hints within the game (especially his special episode) that Wigglytuff is way smarter and way more resourceful than he lets on. I just love the idea of him jumping in to protect his apprentices and thrashing Team Skull to hell for not only being bullies but also for lying to the guild? And playing Chatot for a fool? NOT gonna stand. Nothing but respect for MY Guildmaster

i've been in the uk for a month as an exchange student and so far none of my house mates went missing, i haven't been given an ancient amulet that unlocks secret rooms in the house that i live in and there isn't an ancient egyptian spirit on the loose. i can't believe house of anubis would lie to me like that

Nah man because what the hell was this?

First of all, I love how these panels establish a clear difference between Hawks looking at Dabi and Hawks looking at Dabi. In the scene from 240, Hawks is looking at Dabi as he's thinking about completing his mission and contacting Endeavor for backup. Like dude? You're literally staring into Dabi's eyes and thinking about Endeavor and it never crossed your mind that they have the same eyes? Chapter 267 drives this point even further by putting a close-up of Dabi's eye after he reveals his identity to Hawks. You can clearly see Hawks having an "oh shit" moment after the reveal as he truly looks at Dabi and realizes that this one piece of crucial information has been right in his face the whole time.

And second of all, this just highlights how Dabi truly is Hawks' downfall during the raid.

The whole point of Hawks' mission was to gain intel on the League so that the heroes don't make any hasty decisions and have the upper hand in apprehending the villains for good. The fact that the HPSC president specifically told Hawks "we severely underestimated the enemy" and yet he did the same exact thing is, quite frankly, hilarious.

And in retrospect, given the knowledge that we have on Dabi's past from chapter 350, Hawks could have figured out who was behind the nomu, where they were kept, and so many other things about AFO's plan for a successor if he had paid more attention to Dabi.

Anyways here’s my take on the Mystery Inc Gang’s personalities-

Fred: the spokesman of the group, emotionally intelligent, has the mind of an engineer and a gift for puzzles. He is a great friend, gives the best hugs, and keeps the group together.

Daphne: comes from money but isn’t attached to it anymore, clumsy / unlucky, can come across as airheaded / ditzy but has a mind for numbers so she’s in charge of money. She’s a people person and very empathetic which makes her great at client relations; the heart of the group.

Velma: generally very sweet but among friends she reveals her manic pixie tendencies, fiercely loyal to her friends, science(TM), she’ll be the reason they create a Nobel in mystery solving, chaotic when she gets going. She’s the driving force, the passion for seeking the unknown that Mystery Inc is known for.

Shaggy: a string bean jock which is why he’s always eating. He is the comedian of the group, loaded with common sense, and very genuine, what you see is what you get. Dumb luck. He keeps things light hearted and buoys the group’s spirits.

Scooby: he’s the gang’s gut check; they mostly have a handle life but when things go off the rails, when they’re missing the obvious, when they’re too distracted to see what’s right in front of them - Scooby.

TLDR: Fred is the glue, Daphne is the heart, Velma is the passion, Shaggy is the soul, Scooby is the instinct. They are all the brain.

Do they have any competition with other bands? Will some familiar faces be joining this Au? Are any of the band members interest in a relationship? And who is Bendy and Boris caretaker? Hi! I’m so glad you enjoy their designs! I’ve been working on that drawing for so freaking long lol.

Their favorite music genres would be mostly punk rock or just in general rock.

Bendy and Boris preferring some of the older rock music dating back to Elvis Presley to current. They appreciates some of the grunge from the 90s too. Bendy also listens to a lot of more modern techno and pop music. Especially ones that are strong with the more computer created sound effects, heavy beat drops, and bass. I’m not sure how to describe it but songs that aren’t only instruments but also includes computer created sound effects, that sort of thing.

Cuphead listens to a wide variety of music depending on his mood. He listens to general rock genres but he also appreciates songs about things he relates to on a personal level. It doesn’t always matter the vibe, but if the lyrics strike a chord with him he’ll add it to his listen playlist (this is also in my Cyberpunk AU lol, Cup just has the same music taste throughout my AUs) He also loves indie and alternative rock.

Mugman seems like the kind of guy to listen to musicals. He’s a romantic, so of course he’d listen to a lot of Hamilton, Justin Paul and Benj Pasek; Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Disney songs. And I guess in general any songs about love, romance, and that have a good vibe.

No competition so far that I can think of. Idk… maybe the butcher gang??!?!? I dunno!?!? There’s not a whole lot of groups that aren’t taken in IM that I can turn into a band.

You will see a lot of faces! The Circus gang, Black Hat, Felix, the girls, Fanny, Sarah, etc etc…

Bendy, Mugman, and Cuphead are all in relationships tho they usually keep it on the down-low. Boris is Aro/ace. I think you guys can kinda guess who is shipped with who… tho bendy keeps his relationship secret from the public.

And Bendy and Boris’ Caretaker?

WHO’S THAT PARENTAL FIGURE???? IT’S GRANNYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! XDDDDDD

#tsats spoilers #AALV TSATS liveblogging #everybody say it with me: there were 12 campers at camp in TTC when Nico joined. none of them were from cabin 7 #cabin 7 was explicitly empty #and Nico was only at camp for a week #the earliest Will could have met Nico was BoTL #and even then it's unlikely Will could have joined any earlier than just prior to TLO #given his age and TLO being when he's introduced #''but how would he be cabin counselor then?'' well you see: there were only 3 kids left in his cabin by the end of TLO #and he was the oldest of those three. there's a reason why he was ''hastily appointed'' there was NOBODY LEFT #tbh its way cuter imo for Will to have seen Nico from across the battlefield at one of Nico's most shining moments #when he is purposefully showing off #and going ''WOW <3 well that made my shitty day slightly better''#and then proceeding to pine about the mysterious cool emo boy for the next year #and Nico is like. only dimly aware Will exists which drives Will up a wall #ergo Will's whole ''HOLD MY HANDS. i think twelve and clara are starting to make sense to me but i don't think it's what moffat intended or how the ppl that like them see their dynamic

#they are so obsessed with each other but not as people but the ideas of each other.#twelve's whole character to me feels like the grieving immortal that no longer has anything as a buffer #between him and the weight of the universe. so he sees clara as this culmination of every one of the companions he's lost before #and that adds up. what w/ eleven meeting versions of clara and seeing them die. that adds up w/ clara's presence in heaven sent #faceless and just telling him what to do. she is the companion he cannot fail this time (but he also #cannot reconcile how one of the reasons he keeps someone like her around is /because/ she's mortal)#meanwhile clara bc of her time in the tardis and how she was treated by eleven. thinks herself to be more than she is #she thinks she's owed so much in her life and she thinks she can handle all of it. like ten in waters of mars #so she views twelve and the life in the tardis as an affirmation of what's so extraordinary about her #which is also how she sees danny. i think her character really sings if this is the main idea w/ her relationships with others #bc it's how the doctor acted around her when he first met her. not seeing her as a person but as an idea a mystery a means to an end #so of course as someone who becomes more and more like the doctor as time goes on it makes so much sense that this would be so central #just like how w martha's doctorfication arc it was about self-sacrifice and violence and death. bc that's how ten acted around her #twelve and clara still have the standard traits of doctor and companion of course. the doctor saves the companion when they're in trouble.#the companion remembers to care when the doctor forgets. but they're going through familiar motions as they #start to lose more and more of themselves by being around each other. bc they don't really see the other person #and that's why their dynamic is so obsessive and toxic #dr who #12 era #now this reading has made both characters make a lot of sense to me but also this has tanked my enjoyment of hell bent #in how clara's arc resolves. i won't elaborate more on that until i actually get to it on the rewatch though

Chapter One: Hope Dies Last

This story is very unserious (until it isn't), some portrayals of canon characters might be exaggerated. Sorry not sorry. This is purely for fun.

The whole school was buzzing with excitement and rumours about the friendly visit from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang schools. It was announced a few days before that Hogwarts, once again, will be hosting representatives from both schools. The students were divided into the ones that couldn't wait for the visit and the ones that couldn't care less. Andy Adler represented the former, Hayden Jenkins - the latter. The breakfasts were starting to get really tough to get through with their different amounts of enthusiasm.

"You don't even know if she's going to be there." Hayden said, annoyed at his best friend.

"She is, I can feel it."

"You only saw her, like one time! She probably doesn't even remember you. You didn't even speak to her, I bet."

"Who doesn't remember him?"

Reid Van de Lune joined them, confused about what his friends were squabbling over this time.

"Some random french girl, Andy fantasies about since the last Beauxbatons visit. Three. Years. Ago."

"Her name was Manon!"

Haden brows furrowed. "How do you even know that?"

Andy's whole face melted into an adoring expression, and Hayden quickly regretted his question.

"The wind knocked off her hat in the Clock Tower Courtyard. I picked it up, and the name was embroidered on the inside."

"Don't tell me you kept the hat…"

"Of course not! I gave it back to her immediately. I looked into her eyes… Man, I wish her friends didn't start giggling and dragging her away with them."

"Woah," concluded Reid, "it's like, a scene from, like… a movie."

"Sure, if you're into psychological horror," Hayden scoffed.

Andy sighed, not giving up.

"Come on, don’t be like that! Help me out, I only need a few French lessons, and if she won't be there, it still couldn't hurt, right? Don't any of your fancy slytherin housemates know french?"

Hayden laughed almost honestly. "Maybe in the last century, they were fancy. Have you seen my roommates? Barnaby can barely handle English."

"Hayden."

"I mean, I guess Mina Pendleton, maybe?" He pointed at a blonde girl at the slytherin table, "But I'm not going to be the one talking to her."

"Why not?"

Hayden shuddered. "She intimidates me."

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’RE ALL OUT?!”

Virginia Scott’s angry voice carried through the Great Hall.

"Speaking of girls that are unapproachable…" Andy mumbled as their attention turned towards the end of their table.

“Exactly what I just said.” Jae Kim, the person her anger was directed at, didn't seem worried. “I’m out of all the firewhiskey, elder wine, in all honesty I don’t even have butterbeer at the moment.”

Gigi bit her tongue to avoid screaming at him again.

“And you’re only telling me this now?”

“You didn’t ask about anything specific when we talked last week. You know how fast these things sell around here.”

“I-“ she started but was immediately interrupted by the boy sitting next to her.

“So, how long would it take to execute our order?” asked Diego Caplan, pouring coffee into Gigi's cup in an attempt to calm her down.

“Depends.” he answered, looking suspiciously at the list laying on the table before him. “It’s a big order.”

Gigi sighed heavily and reached for her schoolbag in order to find her purse.

“Ever since you ripped me off on that divination chart you’ve become unbearable, Kim,” she said, handing him a couple of galleons.

Jae shrugged and shoved them into his pocket.

“I’ll talk to you soon.”

And with that he was gone.

"Dude, even since her and the hippie broke up she's been a walking nightmare."

"You mean more than usual?" Hayden chuckled. "No, you're right though, she's unbearable in normal circumstances, but this year is like if someone slipped the essence of insanity into her morning coffee."

"Duuude–" Reid almost choked on air, "what if there was like, a potion that would make you totally speak another language?"

"That would be… perfect actually!" Andy jumped up in his seat. "Is there one?"

Reid suddenly became very serious.

"Do I have an obsession with potions and a head full of blond hair?"

"No…?"

"Then how should I know, I'm not Penny Haywood."

Hayden tuned out their conversation as someone tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around to see two girls he vaguely recognised as fifth year slytherin students. They both were awfully giddy for a Monday morning.

"Sorry, you're Hayden Jenkins, right?"

"The one and only, how can I help you?"

"Well, we just wanted to say that we can't wait to see your band play at the party this Saturday."

"My… band?"

They nodded their heads energetically, and before he could ask more questions, they sprinted out of the Great Hall giggling.

He turned back to his friends completely dumbfounded.

"Snails," Reid said as if he just discovered a new spell.

"Reid that's… I mean it won't hurt to try, we should go anyway if we want to hit the greenhouse before the lessons start."

They gathered their things and stood up.

"Mate, you coming?"

"No, go ahead, I have to take care of something first."

"Suit yourself," Andy shrugged and they were already out of the door.

Hayden also didn't stay at his spot. He had business to take care of at the end of the table. He passed Diego Caplan on his way to the evil witch, and Hayden could swear the Hufflepuff mouthed "good luck" to him.

Virginia Scott was fixing her nails, seemingly unbothered, but Hayden knew her well enough to know that she was still angry about the encounter from before. Her feelings were the least of his concerns at the moment, though.

"Hayden, this is not the best time, darling," she said before he even spoke.

"Don't worry, I just have one little question for you."

She put down the nail file and looked up at him, raising her eyebrows as if she really wanted to hear it.

“Why am I finding out from some random fifth year that not only I have a band but also that I'm going to play with it at your party?”

“Oh, I actually wanted to talk to you about this. I need you to play at my party.”

“Gigi."

“Yes Hayden?”

“I don’t have a band.”

“I’m sure you can figure something out, darling.”

Hayden sighed, immediately regretting not going to the greenhouse with his friends. He could use a smoke right now, after all.

To find out that all of the people who accused Michael Jackson of being a c***d m****ter and harassed him about him for decades are finally getting exposed for being exactly what they accused him of is oddly satisfying for the fact that this vindicates Michael even more than before, but it's also infuriating for the trauma and pain they severely inflicted upon that innocent man for years and years and how that led to his self-destruction. All of this because they wanted to cover their own predatory behinds.

#michael jackson #hollyweird #txt #mj was and still is their damn scapegoat!#they figured that due to michael's already mysterious and private nature and his “quirkies” they could shed ALL the light on him to cover #their own nefarious crimes #and no michael was never friends with that man and he never once visited his island for any reason #michael met him once in 2002 at one of his house's for financial advice but that didn't work out in the end anyway #the woman in the documents specified that she never offered michael a “massage”#michael was never implicated in that crap. michael was never that type of man #michael was never the type of man to abuse his position of power and exploit those under his authority #he never took advantage of the naivety of others for his own selfish gain. michael was not that type of person!!!!!#he did not have it in him to do that to people. if anything people did that to michael ALL the time #people took advantage of his kindness and naivety all the time #michael was not a perpetrator but a VICTIM. a constant one at that #michael knew how that crap felt like and did not want to inflict upon everybody else #and he specially did not want to hurt children in ANY capacity. that was not his character at goddamn all #he fought for children's rights and safety. michael was very probably a safe haven for A LOT child actors as well #he helped disadvantaged and disfranchised people. people need to stop the damn lies #i'm so sick of people lying on that man's name. it's been nearly 15 years FIFTEEN YEARS!!!!!!#LET HIM REST IN PEACE
