"pink sweater Theo😻" no no, but what about the sweaters symbolism?
Theo spends that entire episode training and convincing the chimeras to be on his side of the fight rather than Scott's. He convinces Corey he's going to keep him safe and he won't hurt Mason, he only wants what's 'best' for Corey. He wasn't wearing the sweater in this scene, it was still the same episode: he shows Josh that he doesn't need to find a way to continue taking human drugs because using his electric powers will give him the same (if not a better) high. He takes Tracy to see her father in the hospital and barely has to say anything because Tracy had been with him from the start. She kills her dad without a second thought because she knows it'll make Theo proud. He talks to Hayden at the police station to make sure she doesn't tell anyone about The Beast and the painting. He convinces her she'll be safer if she stays with the group rather than branching off with Liam. And when she seems skeptical, he physically restrains her from leaving and makes sure she truly *knows* how serious he is.
And while most to all of the chimeras know how absolutely fucked Theo's moral standards are, they still feel inclined to trust him. He knows more about The Beast than anyone in McCall's pack, he makes promises to keep them safe as long as they work with him, he brought them back to life. He is their Alpha.
Theo, throughout all of season 5, is seen wearing dark clothes. So why would he suddenly just be wearing this bright shirt? Because it makes him seem friendlier, more trustworthy. When you think of the color pink, you think of love and other sweet things. Things that Theo is not. He's wearing pink because he knows if he tries to look better, they'll have more of a chance of listening to him and following his orders.
He didn't need to wear the sweater for Tracy or Josh because Tracy would kill herself if Theo asked and Josh felt no impulses to follow Scott instead. Where as Corey and Hayden had Mason and Liam on the opposite teams. If their partners were on the other team, why shouldn't they *also* be on that team? What can Theo do for them that Scott can't? This is why Theo makes himself seem more open and gentle. So their brains will chose him solely based on the fact that pink is a softer color.
