#hobby’s

Do any of the ROs do any crafts (knitting, cross-stitch etc)?
Watson has the most of that type of hobby I would say—
They whittle, and I could see them knitting. They bake/cook (though badly). They write a bit, obviously (because they write the Sherlock stories).
Adler and Watson would talk sewing. (Both picked up the hobby being poor as young + Adler likes to mend and adjust clothes + and Watson likes to keep their fingers nimble and practice sutures.) Female W and H can do needlepoint.
This is gonna sound weird, but I haven’t decided yet which RO is gonna be a good cook. I’m keeping it as a trait to give to the least popular RO as a triumph card 😅 (being a good cook is hot, okay?). I’m thinking L is at least not a terrible cook.
H have some business and book related hobbies. They are also a fan of music and artistic talent (tho they don’t perform much themselves). Maybe they should collect fossils, that was a big hobby at the time.
A have many artistic talents. Painting, dancing, singing, acting, playing piano, and more.
L can play the guitar…
I feel like W would play the harmonica 🤔
They all know how to play chess. (But I barely do… which might become a problem 😬)
L likes fiction novels.
They all read actually 🤔
W and A could probably discuss wine and liquor. L doesn’t care much what they drink, and H rarely drinks.
L and H could discuss local politics and management… probably not a hobby. Okay I’m running out of things to say—
I remember I gave one of them a collector type hobby, but right now I can’t remember or find anything about it at all… any ideas for fun (hopefully time appropriate) collecting hobbies?

the way people online talk about autism is getting really weird, like do they know that neurotypicals still have interests? that someone being passionate about a hobby doesn't mean they're autistic? you guys know that right

ngl I keep forgetting that Hobby Lobby is a real store that people go to. That people actually think of it as a craft store and not as a crazy Christian mass artifact smuggler. I google "Hobby Lobby" and get a page full of results that make me go "wtf is this craft supplies and operating hours shit, I thought we all knew this place for smuggling looted cuneiform tablets out of Iraq"
