YOU RIGHT?? LMFAOO sorry I haven't updated all day today's just been kinda a shitshow this whole week has been during study hall in the library the childhood development class came in they have kids with them once a month and they were there that day and I h a t e the sounds of babies/kids crying because it's sorta a trigger response so that was great half of our understudies won't be here for the understudy run and our director refuses to move it I sing pretty loud naturally bc yep and after the song I star in one of the girls I work with go "you're singing over shakespeare and he has a mic." and I apologized and she went "either sing quiet or don't sing at all." so yep I had a breakdown over that one of our featured dancers (the self-destructive one who refuses to admit that she's hurt) fell backstage and landed on her NOSE SHE SOMEHOW ONLY GOT A NOSE BLEED??? but reese updates for the day hmmm Earlier we were taking quizzes for fun and he asked if he was creepy or disarming and I said like 85% disarming and he asked why and I said "Well I used to be scared shitless of you. you have a very... intimidating figure" and he got all puppy eyed and stared and went "really?" and I nodded but hey it was hilarious seeing him sprint out the door 15 minutes late after rehearsal for guitar lessons

ur day was so hectic ???? i hope you have some unwind time planned make sure you do. even 5-10 minutes of some meditation can help ! plus im sorry about the crying babies :(((( ALSO THE PERSON MAKING U FEEL BAD ???? PLZ DON'T LISTEN TO THEM !!

ik its easy for me to sit here comfortable in my own skin and tell you "don't let them get to you" but srsly, do not let them get to you. sure, you can learn a thing or do as people always can in life, but do not let someone who obviously has their own things going on, hence why they're being unnecessarily rude, dampen your attitude or rain on ur parade (DONT TELL ME NOT TO LIVE)

“anddddd 18, this fly is named Jisung. I officially named each fly I killed after a member of NCT.” You said, a smile on your face. Jungwoo watched, completely mortified. Everyone thought that you were insanely gentle, and wouldn’t harm a fly. However, being in the wilderness seemed to bring a completely different side out of you.

“Yaaa y/n stop playing serial killer” Taeyong scolded.

“you guys know how I feel about bugs, I have no idea how you guys even managed to drag me out camping with all 18 of you” you groaned, plopping next to Lucas. A smile formed on his lips as he handed you the speaker.

“Put some music on so we can listen to something while we set the tents up” he said. You nodded, taking it upon yourself to play dj. Your clicked your shuffle button and watched as the dream unit’s eyes lit up at the sound of go, immediately running into formation and leaving Mark to fend for himself with WinWin on a tent.

“y/n take his spot hurry!” Haechan yelled. You hopped out of your seat, running into his spot and easily going with the choreography. Gratefully, due to working as a paid intern for SM’s styling team, you got to watch the performances so often, you knew them by heart.

“yaaa y/n you should become an idol!” Lucas cheered, watching you do Mark’s part perfectly.

“Ahhh I’m no good, I’m better with clothes” you said, continuing to dance with them as DDU-DU DDU-DU came on.

“Let y/n be rose!” Chenle encouraged. Lucas and Taeyong watched, admiring as you entertained the younger members, and slightly impressed with how you were able to sing and dance like an idol.

“I think she’d be a good idol” Taeyong said. “yeahhh me too.” Lucas agreed.

“I also think you should grow some balls and make a move” he teased. The younger member’s face turned a dark shade of crimson.

“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about hyung” he said.

“mhmmmmmm. Well riddle me this, Lucas, or NCT is the biggest flirt and most confident member of NCT, but turns color at the mention of flirting with y/n? A girl who is clearllyyyyy into him? Waaaaaaa, that’s something else” He teased. Lucas sighed, looking at you interact with the boys. He chuckled as you performed Boss, trying to act as masculine as possible. Somehow you ended up with his part, and you tried acting like he did in the video, flexing faux muscles causing him to smile, only making him realize that there was way more to lose.

“She isn’t into me.. plus it’ll ruin our friendship.. and she works with us. Can you imagine? She’ll style me horrendous.” he groaned.

“She sees me as her older brother, would I ever steer you in the wrong direction?” Taeyong asked. Lucas pondered, looking over at you. You took a sip of water, trying to catch your breath.

“Seriously y/n you should consider auditioning for a group in SM, you’re like the complete package” Jisung said, making you smile.

“thank you.. I’ll think about it”

“nooo what you should think about is making a move on Lucas tonight” Jaemin teased

“Nana shut upppp” you groaned.

“Seriously! You should think about ittt” he teased

“Okay the last tent is up! Now for assignments” Johnny yelled. He yelled off each members name, assigning them a tent.

“and y/n.. your tent is... Jaemin.. why are there only 9 tents.” he asked. Jaemin sent you a playful look. He knew about your crush on Lucas, and more than likely was trying to set you up.

“Crap. I thought I packed 10.. I’m sorry y/n” he said. You glared at him, knowing in that very moment why fans called him evil.

“So we’ll switch around. Kun is an early bird like me and Johnny, and our tent is the biggest so he’ll fit. You can room with Lucas since you both live at night, and you guys do sleepovers all the time anyway” Taeyong said, patting Lucas on the back, Lucas sent you a shy smile, and you tried avoiding all eighteen pairs of eyes on you.

“okay..” you whispered.

you sat by the fire, taking a sip of your hot chocolate as you watched Yuta walk towards his tent.

“behaveeee” he teased before entering. You sighed, throwing your hair into a bun. Your heart rate seemed to increase at the thought of everyone having set you up. You looked up, giving Lucas a kind smile as he sat next to you, snatching your mug from your hand and taking a sip.

“Lucassss” you whined, trying to reach for it.

“Hey sharing is caringgg.” he teased, causing you to pout. The simple sight of this turned him soft, as he handed you the mug.

“How cold do you think it’ll get tonight?” you asked.

“Pretty cold, were surrounded by trees.. and it’ll what 12 and it’s already chilly?” he replied. You groaned, slipping your hands into your sleeves.

“At least we have this fire to keep us warm.” he replied, gesturing towards it.

On edge seemed to be a simple explanation for what you currently felt. Every single noise caused you to jump, making the air mattress move every time you did. Lucas remained silent next to you, even though he was awake, he simply closed his eyes to make himself calm down. This bed was smaller than the one he had in the dorms, so there was limited space between the two of you. However Lucas insisted on using separate blankets so you would feel comfortable, but that left you with your teeth chattering.

“Lucas” you whispered, softly tapping his back. He remained still, trying to see how long it would take for you to be a whiny mess.

“Lucassssss.. wake up” you whispered. A smile grew onto his lips, and he tried to continue facing the other way. You sat up, and saw his hoodie lying on the floor next to your mattress. You tried as silently as you could to climb over him, a squeal escaping your lips as his hands grabbed you, pulling you close to his chest and covering you with the quilts.

“You scared me!” you hissed. He chuckled, tangling his legs with yours and giving you the warmth you wanted. In all honestly, you just wanted to be close to him, the cold was the perfect excuse.

“hmmm” he replied, lying his chin on your head. He could hear the pout in your voice, causing him to smile. The both of you fell silent, the words of the members playing in your heads. Lucas carefully took your face in his hands, making you look up at him.

“What?” you asked.

“Can I try something” He asked. Your breath hitched, as you nodded. He carefully leaned in, placing his lips against yours swiftly, before pulling back.

“i’m sorry-” he started, only to be cut off by you placing your lips back on his. A small smile formed on his lips as he kissed you back, causing you to smile. He pulled away, softly running his thumb across your bottom lip.

“I’ve wanted to do that for a while” you both said, erupting into a fit of laughter. He softly kissed your nose, before kissing you again.

“Sooo dinner? As soon as we get back home?” he asked.

“Are you asking me on a date Lucas?” you asked, pretending to be shocked.

“mmhmmm” he replied, softly rubbing his nose against yours.You smiled, softly kissing his chin.

“Sounds great to me” you replied.

*meanwhile, 15 members were crowded inside of Taeyong’s tent, waiting to hear back from Jisung and renjun.

The two members ran inside of the tent, breathless.

“well? Did you two scare her into his arms?” Johnny asked. Jisung held a finger up, trying to catch his breath.

“Let’s just say.. they’re going to dinner as soon as we get back home” Renjun said, causing all of the members to silently cheer.

My first bias: Siyeon ! the comma hair. ohhhhh the comma hair. Plus the pre-debut vocal practices??? my god.

Your current bias and why: Siyeon still, she’s an embarrassment??? and that’s honestly how to get me to fall in love with you. The girl has such brilliant facial expression, and as someone with very limited ability in that department, I sometimes look at her and swell with pride.

Favourite song: Sleepwalking or Full Moon. with Wake Up, Goodnight and Lullaby chasing. DON’T ASK ME TO SINGLE OUT ONE.

Favourite MV:hmmm, I think from the official MVs it’s Chase Me??? The memories of seeing the MV (their debut) and falling in love with ‘em from get go just always come back to me.

OTP:Honestly???They all have such brilliant dynamics? I’ll say Dami and Yoohyeon because I just rewatched their recent vlive and Yoohyeon sticks her cold hands in Dami’s pockets.

Member you think has the best smile:oh gosh… okay so I adore Siyeon’s chipmunk cheeks when she smiles. But Gahyeon’s smile????? is the most precious smile?????? my heart implodes on itself???

Favourite choreography:okay so it was Chase Me but Full Moon’s choreo sneaked up and stole me. The whole we’re-a-sisterhood coven of white wicca motifs makes me phenomenally happy. Also the goodnight kiss coming up from parallel squat second?? mhmmmmmm

Favourite era:Okay so for styling it’s Goodnight. I adored the leatherette coat dressed and the hand jewellery. But just in general, we have so much quality content from Fly Highs era.

Have you seen them live:Yes I have! And they were phenomenal.

Favourite voice/singer:I’m biased but Siyeon! She’s so bloody powerful like she really just, projects so so easily. and the notes she can hit???? glass breaks.
