Lovely patrons photographed at the Zenda Ballroom Cafe in Los Angeles, CA (circa 1939). Their names were (left to right) Donna, Marge, and Edward. Loving Marge's hair and dress!

Here’s Addy with her new accessories that I picked up at AG Place LA.
This Addy was in the large PC Molly lot I brought home a few weeks ago. I fell in love as sometimes happens and decided I had to keep her.
She had her boots but no meet dress. I remembered I had this lovely dress someone made with great care. Kirsten had an extra apron and kindly passed it along.
I was very excited to set up her Sweet Dreams set which I’ve been holding onto for years!
I rarely come across Addy items on my adventures so I’m cobbling things together until either I get lucky or AG expands their retired doll lines. 🤞🏻

I like what this real estate says: “ In a real estate market full of grey paint and cheap materials, The Rothenburg Residence 1929″ is nothing short of a once in a lifetime restoration. It’s a combination of Los Angeles Spanish & Art Deco in Los Angeles, California. $1.495M
Beautiful living room. This home is full of lovely details.
Details in the corners of the living room ceiling.
The vision for the resurrection of this home was to be a “love letter to original Los Angeles Spanish and Art Deco architecture.”
The Spanish Colonial Revival home perfectly combines the memorable with the modern.
Bonus- that sideboard totally looks like a built-in.
It’s a separate dining area for the kitchen, AKA a breakfast room. Very nice feature.
Completely remodeled, period correct kitchen.
How cute is this little niche?
The 3 bathrooms were carefully redone in collaboration with a renowned 3rd generation historic tile maker to replicate the original Spanish and Deco flavors of the past, including original sinks that were carefully chosen to match each room.
All of the timeless wooden windows and floors restored the soul of the property.
Beautiful tile stairs.
And, check out the doors.
The baths are the best features of this home.
Lovely bright bd with an original ceiling fixture.
Unbelievably beautiful architectural details.
These bathrooms. One is better than the next.
The main bd has a special vanity area.
Al the bds are beautifully bright.
Behind the home is a patio and a good sized yard.

Venice Beach in the 1980s was overwhelmed by "drug dealers and squatters." One author determined that its "fundamental raunchiness" would never be eliminated unless bulldozers did away with Venice altogether.
