And as a result of this, it has angered not just dionysus but zeus and apollo and aphrodite that’s a sharp one, towards me, and others who wish to provide salvation and comings and literature of other worlds. It will be a test run a world like ours with super powers and heroes and mutliveress, and then we’ll all wake up and this book will suffice like it was all one bad dream. 

That’s all there is too it. That’s all I foresee. A world where we learn of magick the gods make their big deubeu and while videos and evidance surfaces it all disappears or is disproven by the likes of captain dissolution and other skeptics who are admamanet about ti. I don’t actually know if this film needed to be created. I think we maybe could’ve done without it. Do I regret watching it? Yeah a little. I’m kinda wishing I could get my time back. It was an interesting experience, one that I don’t think people should really have to go through. The cinematography was actually really great, it was just the story that was so unfortunate. I can’t stop you so if you want to watch it you can I just....don’t think you should waste your time.

honestly seeing people’s reactions to witcher and game of thrones and the general concept of “fantasy for people who don’t like fantasy” has made me realise something: adults need a genre for period dramas set in fictional countries without feeling the need to make it high fantasy.

people like watching pirate movies about fictional pirates. people like watching dramas about historical people that have so many historical inaccuracies it barely counts as historical fiction anymore, for the plot. people liked watching fictional nations and families and would tolerate dragons and prophecies to see how the politics and relationships would end up. people like watching modern-day shows about these themes with an entirely made up cast of characters.

like there’s clearly interest in just watching buck-wild politics with a historcal setting or aesthetic even if it’s not based on any real events, so it feels a bit strange that “this piece of media is about these two fictional countries with fake people and wildly complex power games” isn’t seen as a legitimate way to go about these stories, authors and showrunners instead opting for either disappointing history fans or fantasy fans by adding the bare minimum elements of the genre to excuse its existence

ig what i’m saying is “game of thrones sans the dragons”/“reign without real people names” should be a genre since clearly that’s something people want and it’s strange that those kinds of stories are not really allowed to exist without needing to be labelled as something it’s clearly not trying to be

I just finished reading These Is My Words by Nancy Turner. I haven't cried with a book very many times. The overall story isn't sad although there are several sad incidents within. I was moved because I could relate to Sarah and felt a sense of relief to know I am not alone.
