And then the crows meet sturmhond because of a heist and he takes interest in the reader form the first moment he sae her and makes her fall in love with him. And then whatever you want lol. Maybe kaz being jealous idk.

Exhaustion. That's what she felt, and to be honest, it was even more frustrating when Y/N knew she was doing it to herself. Those persistent yet futile attempts at reading Kaz's silence or gaze as something else; a love message, a confession of his sins, any sign of vulnerability reserved for her. However, these attempts, though fervent, ultimately proved fruitless.

How could she confirm what she thought she saw if, after, say, he appeared distressed at her being in danger or fumed when some dick was being extra disgusting at the bar that night; he went back to being his usual cold self?

When she finally obtained concrete evidence that disproved her misconceptions ("Jesper, she prefers black coffee" or "Y/N, could you join me in my office for a moment?" simply to spend time together in quietude), he strategically distanced himself throughout the week, transforming those precious moments of tranquility and companionship into ordinary occurrences, leading her to, somehow, misunderstand them.

Another shot of vodka and the pain her thoughts evoked was replaced by the burning, bitter sensation in her tongue and throat. "A hangover won't make Kaz let you stay behind tomorrow, you know that?" Matthias smiled next to her.

Since he joined the crows, the Fjerdan had taken a special liking to his girlfriend's best friend; she was funny, kind hearted and could keep up his pace in drinking games. Nina couldn't be happier to see her loves get along so well, saying it's her dream come true. "Oh don't even start, Matthias" Y/N answered, feigning annoyance as she poured more of the burning liquid into her glass and pulled out another for her friend.

They silently toasted to nothing in particular and chatted about their books as they usually did. Matthias' romance novel had an interesting love triangle Y/N was eager to read when he was finished. From how he talked about it, the girl knew it was just her type of story. They were in the middle of a playful argument about a plot-hole Y/N thought she found when Kaz approached them.

His usual demeanor seemed a bit... shaken. If you asked the blonde, he'd say he only looked more agitated, but Y/N/N knew better; his hair was covering his forehead slightly, but he wasn't brushing it back. The limp was prominent still, yet he wasn't using his cane. Kaz was in a rush to get to her, maybe?.

"One of your fellow countrymen is starting a turmoil outside, doesn't speak Kerch. Will you please, for the tree's sake, go and talk some sense into his thick blonde skull?" Saints, why did she like him so much? Even like that, Y/N thought he looked rather divine. Matthias stood up from his seat and directed himself to the entrance.

"Since when do you care for what happens outside that door?" She asked with a grin, genuinely curious. "I wouldn't if he wasn't scaring off the pigeons. No wealthy tourist will endure the trouble that some drunk Fjerdan means just to get inside a place full of people that'll take his money" the boy explained, looking down at her.

Kaz's complexion, kissed by the soft glow of the candles, is pale yet flawless, as if untouched by the harshness of the world he inhabits. His sharp, well-defined features give him an air of enigmatic sophistication, further heightened by the way the light dances upon his cheekbones, emphasizing their elegant structure.

Y/N realizes she's staring. She looks away.

The bastard smirks. "Finding something intriguing, are we?" And oh, she wanted to stab him to see if that would wipe the stupid grin he carried. "Oh, please, Kaz. You give yourself too much credit. I was merely lost in thought, contemplating the mysteries of the world. Your face happened to be in the line of sight, that's all."

Quick, sarcastic answer, as if the seconds between her silence confirmed even further what he was saying. He scoffed, drinking the remains of alcohol on Matthias' glass and fixed his hair in the process. "Stop drinking, a hangover won't spare you from our meeting tomorrow".

She should've listened. The crashing waves outside only intensified the discomfort, while the salty breeze seemed to carry a tinge of regret. Even the beauty of the sea she was now too used to felt distant and inaccessible, overshadowed by the haze of her post-indulgence remorse.

Nina, taunting Matthias with a mature Ravkan song and Jesper shooting bottles in the warehouse, created an uneasy atmosphere for hungover Y/N. This unsettling environment made it difficult for her to focus on evaluating any potential deals they were to discuss with the privateer Kaz said they were meeting that day. Also, they had been waiting for over an fifteen minutes now! She was surprised Kaz was waiting still.

He checked his pocket watch subtly, sighing at the tardiness of their Ravkan guests. Then, he looked over at Y/N. Even with those deep baggy eyes and with her head on her hands in exasperation, she managed to awaken that odd feeling in his chest. He hated it. No, he despised it.

If he ever accepted that he was down hard for the girl, he could also get over the fact that she, too, liked him. Well, he wasn't dumb! There was no denying that Y/N's actions warmed his heart. He just knew loving was a dangerous thing to do, a weakness he couldn't afford after spending years building a reputation in Ketterdam.

Then came a loud bang on the heave wooden doors of the warehouse. "Fucking finally" Y/N sighed, going to open the door herself before anyone would, wanting nothing but to end this as soon as possible so she could go back home to sleep. She grabbed the handle and pulled, the bright light outside blinding her momentarily before seeing the privateer and his crew.

"Hello gorgeous! Here to see Mr. Brekker. I'm guessing you're one of his associates?" A sharp, slightly deep voice greeted. The girl shielded her eyes from the light and found captain smily offering his hand out. In Ketterdam, rumours ran as quick as blood on pavement; Sturmhond knew that. He needed no introduction. Every person involved in not so legal activities who didn't live under a rock had heard at least once about the dog of the sea.

She took it, shaking gently. "Y/N Y/L/N, but if you prefer nicknames, call me Haepha". Then she stepped aside, pretending not to notice the smirk on Sturmhond's face so his partners could come in. The rumors hadn't done justice to his captivating presence.

The charismatic privateer stood tall, his dark hair falling in unruly waves that added to his allure. His piercing blue eyes seemed to hold a world of secrets, and a mischievous smile played across his lips. Dressed in opulent garments that exuded confidence and flair, Sturmhond commanded attention with every step as his crew and he approached the rest of the crows.

"I'll stick to your name for now doll, too pretty not to use," And the bastard winked at Y/N, making a Shu girl who was walking behind him with the same confidence giggle. The worst thing about pretty men is they know they're pretty, and knew damn well how to get away with being cocky. She knew his type, so she brushed the wink off and walked towards her friends.

Kaz and Sturmhond shook hands. Everyone who was fast enough grabbed a seat in old boxes or even on the floor. Jesper offered Y/N his seat, knowing that the vodka she drank last night was no merciful rival, and stood behind her alongside his boyfriend. Inej lingered sitting in a window near them as Matthias and Nina remained standing, contrary to all the privateers' team.

Kaz started making introductions, all a mere formality, Y/N knew. "You've met Y/N, our inferni. Behind him are Jesper, sharp-shooter, and Wylan, our demo-man. The blonde wall-resembling man over there is Matthias, and Nina is a heartrender. Inej in the window, our Wraith" he pointed, everyone nodding or waving at the dark-haired man.

"A Wraith alright, didn't notice you were there sweetheart!" He pointed out and then introduced the twins; Tolya and Tamar. As well as Anya and Andrei, who were two members of his ship's company who wanted to come by and see who they were working with. When that was taken care of, plans were strategized by both leaders and positions were given to each member.

Y/N knew Kaz was characterized by having plans from A to Z for very elaborate heists, but even this one seemed out of his reach, almost too ambitious. But if Sturmhond's name lived up to the myth, nothing was quite impossible for him and Kaz's love for money could get him to plot even the tiniest detail.

Their objective this time was to steal some kind of jewel called "the moon's tears". It was a gem said to be worth four million kruge, to be bargained for even more; the crows' biggest heist yet. The vault it was in was widely known for its impenetrable security measures, including seemingly impenetrable barriers, intricate lock mechanisms, and a team of highly skilled guards.

Those two were absolutely insane! Even before one considered the noble who owned the vault and therefore the gem they were trying to steal, knew Kaz from the past. It was an extremely peculiar coincidence that a masquerade ball was taking place some distance away from the location of the vault, which represented the perfect opportunity for the work.

This would allow them to exploit the lack of security and sweep the gem away. Nina would ideally take care of the distraction, to keep the nobleman from returning home too quick, but her heartrending abilities would be helpful to make a quick work to make the few officers guarding the vault doze off.

So it became Y/N's job. A job she was to complete with Sturmhond.

After the meeting ended and Y/N's headache had worsened, a deep voice was heard from behind her. She turned to find the charming privateer flashing a smile at her. "Looking forward to working with you, darling" He commented, offering his hand out and all. She took it and shook half-heartedly, eager to just go home and sleep for the rest of the evening.

"Me too, handsome" Irony laced in her tone. "Doesn't seem like it, you alright? You look like a ghost. Lovely, yes, but still ghostly" The comment made her smile, tightening the grasp on his hand but not shaking anymore "Just hungover s'all" "Told you so!" Jesper proclaimed from their side as everyone directed themselves to the door.

The privateer smiled sweetly. "Got any plans this evening?" "Other than rotting in my room until my body stops hurting? Not really. Why?" Y/N looked down briefly, realizing she still hadn't let go of his hand and then released her grasp "Well, if my days at sea have thought me anything other than how to read the stars..." he started, tapping the necklace with a star charm the girl sported.

A "gift" from Kaz (some jewelry that wasn't redeemed from a heist he let her keep). "...is how to cure a hangover. Mind coming with me to a bar? You can decide which". Going to a bar with a complete stranger who had a reputation of being in trouble most of the time and who she were to work with? Sure thing.

"Promise youll make it go away?" "Promise".

And what a plot twist he was. Jesper had jokingly said to the girl that she shouldn't take a privateer's word but he did termiante her hangover with some strange, black-ish liquid she didn't dare to ask the composition of. Then they drank more.

As the drinks arrived, they raised their glasses, the clink of crystal breaking the spell of their silent connection. Sturmhond smiled, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "To new adventures and unexpected encounters," he proposed, his voice smooth and velvety.

Y/N couldn't help but return the smile, feeling the warmth of excitement spread through her veins. "To embracing the unknown," she replied, raising her glass in agreement. They took a sip, the flavors dancing on their tongues. A comfortable silence settled between them, allowing the sounds of the bar to envelop them. After a moment, Sturmhond leaned in, his voice low and captivating.

"So, Y/N, what brings you to this lawless corner of the world?". He asked, genuine curiosity lacing his words. Y/N's eyes sparkled as she recounted her journey, the challenges she faced, and the dreams that fueled her determination. Sturmhond listened intently, his attention unwavering, as if she held the secrets of a hidden treasure.

As she spoke, Y/N couldn't help but notice the genuine interest in Sturmhond's eyes. He asked thoughtful questions and shared stories of his own adventures, effortlessly weaving tales of daring escapades that left Y/N hanging on his every word.

The conversation flowed effortlessly, a seamless exchange of ideas, dreams, and aspirations. Time seemed to melt away as they delved into deeper discussions, finding solace in the connection they were building. Laughter intertwined with their words, a symphony of shared amusement and understanding.

They became lost in each other's company, entranced by the way their thoughts aligned and their hearts danced to the same rhythm. And as the night wore on, their conversation continued, their new found connection growing stronger with every passing moment.

She couldn't help but think of Kaz, when exiting the bar, and on the way back to The Slat. When would he ever, in a million years, make her feel so seen? How could he? He seemed to be nothing but cold and a bad type of confusing to the girl.

Y/N was not blind, either. Sturmhond was known for his endless romantic encounters with women across the sea, and he was interested in her. Now, she could not deny the guy was a charming boy too pretty for this Earth, sharp as a knife and, as she found out that evening, shared a lot of ideals and interests with her.

Could he maybe work as a rebound? Maybe. Would she shamelessly use him as that? Could be. Having his eyes on her that whole meeting was no coincidence, and she liked his attention. Maybe what mends a broken heart was a handsome privateer.

They agreed to meet up the next day, his treat.

Back at the Slat, Kaz was fuming. No, not fuming; seething. A bar outing? She just met him! He could not believe his eyes when they were talking hand in hand like they had known each other from a previous lifetime.

In the little time that had passed since (most of) the crows had returned from the meeting, Kaz had already gotten four drunks kicked out, death-stared a group of dregs twice so they'd shorten their break time to get them to work and downed four vodka shots.

Why was he this mad? She wasn't even his and as far as she knew; he had no intentions of being hers either. The boy couldn't be mad at her, but he was, and Kaz knew very well he was being a big selfish shit. He could not blame Y/N either; the bastard she had been crushing on gives no signs of interest but a privateer handsome as the devil shows up with his attention completely focused on her? Of course she'd fall.

He just hated that feeling.

It's presence looms, heavy and suffocating, wrapping its tendrils around the heart, constricting with an iron grip. It whispers sweet poison into the mind, distorting reality and fueling irrational fears. Like a tempestuous storm, it rages within, lightning crackling with envy, thunder rumbling with resentment. It paints the world in hues of green, tarnishing every joyous moment with a bitter aftertaste.

And then his heart sunk into the depths of his dark soul when he saw them walk in hand in hand. That was the first time Y/N had walked into a room and not looked for him, he noticed. She was laughing at something Sturmhond had said as they walked up the stairs until they reached the door of Y/N's room. He kissed her hand and she kissed his cheek.

The privateer then walked down the stairs, noticing Kaz staring.

"She's one of a kind, that one... Might stay a bit more after the job's done. See you tomorrow, Brekker"

The feeling was now leaving an empty, bottomless void in his soul. He bottomed his shot glass then poured another one.

Time kept ticking and the void intensified, but Kaz learnt how to deal with it.

He learnt how to deal with it when he kissed her after the job was done.

He learnt how to deal with it when Y/N took a break from the crows to leave with him for six months.

He learnt how to deal with it when she returned from her trip, beautiful tan skin and a diamond on her finger.

He learnt how to deal with it when he saw her crying herself to sleep because she missed him.

He learnt how to deal with it when she left for good.

He learnt how to deal with it when she was named queen of Ravka.

Kaz just learnt how to live with the shame and regret of not recognizing that the one thing he needed was right in front of him, hoping she'd have a place next to him.

Honestly, the man loves that you're so short. Considering the fact that he's literally 8 ft tall. Dude is an absolute giant monster and he adores that you're his cute little partner.

Also the way you dress? Perfect for him. It's just the right amount of whimsical and dark, which matches him right to the T.

He's not really up to date on all of the shows and cutesy stuff you like... But he'll make a conscious effort to learn about it and honestly gets addicted in the process.

Honestly, he doesn't mind the trauma you carry with you. If anything, he's seen so much of it, that he would understand why it's with you. Would he understand why it effects you so much? Probably not. But he would certainly take time to learn why and what happened.

This would all probably happen over coloring sessions. Which he also LOVES to do btw. So y'all will go through so many damn coloring books. Honestly Sally will get jealous you took her coloring partner away from her. Soooo maybe invite her to join sometime? Not in the trauma dump sessions of course.

You know Jeff loves to take stabs at people (literally and metaphorically). But LJ will be there by your side in an instant when he hears a single pointed comment come out of Jeff's mouth toward you. I honestly think the only reason Jeff would stay alive after his remarks would be because Slender truly needs him and the punishment towards LJ would be just as severe as death.

So don't worry about anyone fucking with you since LJ will be looming over you with the look of warning in his eyes. For how sweet he can be, no one forgets what he's truly capable of.

And last but certainly not least, he doesn't mind your dominant nature. Just as long as you let him protect you and you give him mutual respect in the end, he'd probably let anything slide.

hiii uh. dunno if this will make any sense, im kinda just throwing my thoughts at you

OKAY. so. been thinking about kuron(again) and the thing im just realising how ALONE he is, at least at the beggining. the people he thought of as his family fucking KILLED him, stole his body, and then basically forgot about him for YEARS. and after being ressurected- like, in the first few days, weeks, months- did kuron had ANY support? anyone to lean on?? to help him adjust to being alive again?

i know he starts to meet new people and make friends, and thats great! but. at the beggining....... lance was in a coma 'n shit, team voltron propably wasnt too enthusistic about helping kuron, and it just hit me that, at least the way i understand it(i might be wrong), he had to figure EVERYTHING out by himself

Oh god yes!!! To be honest i dont really have like a detailed idea for this part of the story like at best i have this one idea where Veronica is the first one to find him. Like in my head Veronica has been trying to track down Lance cause he ran away/didnt give the address once he moved out, isnt picking up his goddamn phone and literally dropped from the face of the earth and she cant find a trace of him. That was until apparently Lance?? 'Attacked' Shiro?? Like Shiro's fine just fainted and on bedrest and according to Curtis, Lance was saying something about "he is still in there" before apparently using Magic?? Somehow?? And taking something? From Shiro?? Yeah Veronica has no fucking clue. But a lead is a lead and she was able to track down Lance's new home only to find 1) a guy butt fuck naked coming out of a quintessence filled tub like the girl from Shining and who looks a bit like her boss. 2) her brother unconscious. She instinctly about to pull a gun on him except Kuron just slips and hits the floor, so now Veronica has two men she needs to drag to a hospital. Joy.

So like yeah Kuron's first stranger-to-acquintance-to-friend is Veronica. She neither has the history of All That™ the others have with Kuron, knows a bit about the clone situation to not be weirded out by it, but also doesnt really care about the whole Evil Clone thing™, cause i am so sorry but she has seen this man fall on his face first 5 times and counting, cry over a fridge ad that had kittens in it, and try to name himself Frank Shelley, even if he somehow becomes Evil~ Veronica is sure she can just Take him down easily, and like what is she supposed to do? Just leave him? He clearly has even less of an idea what is going on and she cant in good conscience leave him like this.

And thing is that Veronica does want to support Kuron, because he deserves that! It's the right thing to do and he deserves that! But at the start he really is a stranger to her and Lance is more of a priority to her than he is, and he is like one of the only leads that explains what is going on with Lance. And while she wont admit this but Kuron can tell and like logically He Gets That™!! He Gets That™!!! And he wants to help Lance too!! But he's also someone who is used and thrown away by everyone around him and this shit hurts like hell. Like this is a recipe of disaester for both of them and will result in a shouting match but right now Kuron is too high on pain meds and pain of being alive again to truly get into it so.

So like physically he isnt really alone in figuring this out, Veronica is trying to help him as much as she can help him, and the hospital staff she dragged him to are really nice to him as well. Emotionally......well there is effort. Vero is trying! Heck she even defended him when Shiro suggested they should lock him up cause he was a danger to everyone and is evil. She is trying but she also has her own trauma, whatever is going on with Lance, her family having separation anxiety, her job, etc etc and she can only do so much, and like Kuron is also trying but he is also dealing with so much and pushing it into the back burner and my guy is just not having great time at all. So like yeah he did had to figure out so much himself

#Kuron uses what scrapes of emotional intelligence he has to be understanding of Veronica so he can be unapologetic Shiro-Keith-Allura hater #It's like you try to find your lost brother only to come across his freaky necromancy science project and him in coma what do you do?#obviously not abandon him! its been a hot minute now since ive actually played canto 5 bc life got.. crazy busy for a while since i finished (which is when i originally intended to answer this ask thank u for ur patience OTL) so i might misremember some things + im gonna put this under a readmore since it got a little long BUT

overall i think it was really good!! i really REALLY loved the parallels between ahabs obsession w the whale and ishmaels obsession w ahab herself and like. those two being narrative foils for each other and showing what happens when choosing obsession and hatred over everything else... and how ishmael got through it w support from the other sinners and w her love for queequeg and everything and AUGH

i think my two main gripes are like... i do wish queequeg hadnt died, BUT i also know that like. they did have to keep ishmael on the bus Somehow. if queequeg had lived then ishmael wouldve left with her and not stayed on the bus, which just. cant happen for the sake of the narrative. so like. i get it!! but it did feel a little :(.

my other main gripe is that it... actually didnt feel quite hard enough?? this time?? like i know the proj moon difficulty curve is outright vertical so thats what i was expecting (note: i was playing this post-nerf so idk how it was originally and also got tips from a friend who had already beaten her) so when i beat ahab on the first go it was like. oh. Oh! I Guess I Did It! which was nice but it didnt feel Quite as satisfying as it would have if i had tried and failed a few times before working out how to do it correctly

that said tho i really did like the canto as a whole!!! there were a lot of setups for later payoffs that im excited for too (like ahab joining hermanns crew and SAUDE BEING ALIVE. I MISS HER) + there were some heathcliff moments that had me like Hi Mr. Next-Canto Why Are You Saying That. but overall i really love the screentime that ishmael got and that she got to be ANGRY AND VIOLENT AND FUCKED UP and still get through it okay. i love her

I am DEEPLY into dummybaby still even tho its been a while since i played cyberpunk 2077.. the tech stuff is cool in a lot of places but the only ppl who rllly wet my appetite for scifi humanity r the maelstrom and the little hints we get about how they function.. Im not like. adept w any technology i can barely keep my comp 2gether so i dont quite understand it, but the part about Maelstrom bodies or brains somehow amplifying music in Totentanz? Made me d r o o l

ANYWAYS im not gonna talk abt te canonical stuff i barely remember it i need 2 refreshen my brain abt it but ill give. u a quick reminder of how i visualize/characterize Dum dum mostly but ill also give some royce stuff and then ill just go ham w some headcanons abt their basic life.

2 me as like, one of the CHillest maelstrom, which, isnt saying a lot, but 2 me (maybe as an adhd person who experiences the same and mayyy be reflecting a bit teehee) hes someone whos experiencing some level of understimulation who gets over it w extremity.

I usually imagine ngl that its caused by being so overstimulated by an extreme enviroment for his whole life (i mean. night city yk?) that he needs constant punching to get through life. this makes for a vERY hollow feeling life for him but 2 me.

Royces chaos kinda enhances it for him 2 some kinda point of like. purpose? Almost? which is why he seems 2 have at least. like some mild genuine respect & dedication to him. yipee yk.

Royce is just batshit and he loves his music and is the exact opposite he seems 2 be full of energy and so on. Royce is hyped Dum dum is exhausted but seeking smth that feels real and alive and exeptional.

2 me. we get so little abt their personalities in game PLEASE leave me alone this is ENTIRELY speculation and reflective.

anyways yeah just some random stuff!!!!

bc of that i kinda like to think that they r both. unwell sleepers if that makes sense? Dont sleep enough. Royce sleeps naturally very little and dum dum keeps up w him. We doo see dum dum usually just hanging about, lounging, I can totally imagine him taking mininaps constantly, eyes flickering from time to time, head nodding. Snapping 2 awakenness suddenly when Royce starts speaking again.

ive looked at some rotations of dum dums model and some of his bodymods are DEFINETLY more just aesthetic than functional.. at LEAST his upper lip rings. Those r trditional piercings. Probably also is chin metal n much of the stuff around his mouth. Again im not technically adept and Idk what the designers were going for, but I'd love to think that also the cored part around his neck, where they've just taken a part around his spine and replaced it w a dent of metal, is fully appearences, just bc its so extreme and interesting. He likes his bodymods he enjoys the process!!!! Perhaps he even enjoys the care that goes into them, bodymods that heavy must require a lot of care.

I dont. think he has tattoos in his final design right? og dumdum had the tats? Though i do love to think that he got tattoos when he was younger but most of them have just gone through being torn apart by his later bodymodifications. Maybe he has some shitty stick & pokes somewhere thatd be cute. bonding w the boys.

he mentions he likes classic rock music- tbh i kinda love 2 imagine that hed also enjoy old movies/shows? classics enjoyer. i knoww they have like those brainfilms n shit but its rly hard for me to imagine film going out of style fully, just like books havent fully gone out of style bc movies exist. i dont remember if movies r much mentioned in the game though. STILL yeah I bet hed like some horror movies... He would 1000% watch texas chainsaw massacre etc, and movies from our day as classics. Midsommar w / dum dum sounds like a nightmare.

Secretly dumdums a lil interested in philosophy. He kinda dismisses stuff like that but he does have a secret admiration for the world and thoughts. This comes out particularly bc Royce has some weird ideas.

I think he must be running warm most of the time.... My friend asked me if i think his metal parts get cold enough for your tongue to get stuck and yeah thatd be funny he prolly hates cold weather and needs 2 wear a balaklava when its wintery outside so his metal parts dont freeze his face.

seeks purpose but u might not realize it bc hes made chaos his purpose

Litcherally never prolly thinks about cyberpsychosis. if e does, maybe he even wishes for it in some way? in a self destructive sense. Royce is more likely to experience it faster, though which i imagine would be a big blow 2 dumdum

Has a lot of CASUAL friends in the maelstrom but it never gets fully to the level of found family/genuine friends. Yes they have a lot in common, yes he spends all his time w them, but it often feels surface level to him, and "unreal". Hes found a more profound connection in Royce, but i feel like his admiration is a little one sided, and that he realizes it? But is like. whatever this is still nice.

dehydrated, forgets to eat and eats like shit when he does eat. Loves carbs and sugars. Possibly caues some of his exhaustion.

He kinda plays up his emotional outbursts!!!! He isnt that angry. He does it to assert dominance in a very outbursty enviroment. If he was in a chiller enviroment you could actually mess w him quite a lot and hed just laugh and mess back w you.

BOTTHH of their eyes can flicker 2 the beat of music like those old computer apps that played music and had some kinda visual indicator of the rythm. fuck w them

Dum dum prolly drives some kinda rly shitty van most of the time, just bc hes usually hanging out w so many people. Big driver in general!!! Not like a car/bike person but enjoys sitting at the wheel and feeling out how the car runs. usually a p good driver but sometimes he gets too focused on getting some adrenaline and becomes a bit of a mess of a driver.

hiii! if you're still take my time at sandrock requests, i would love some owen angst! or justice or qi! they're some of my favorites right now. i've been meaning to write some myself but am drowning in a backlog for other fandoms lol

I had no idea what to write about but since the update came out, I finally got some good content so I'm going with Justice since I haven't seen anything written for him yet and dw im kinda on the same boat i am currently ignoring 3 other fandoms lol

Also I'm putting this under a cut because of spoilers for the new update

There is nothing that Justice loves more than the builder. They're quite literally his rock. Justice even promised to protect them as much as he could, despite knowing that they could keep themselves safe. Justice could never bear the fact of losing his builder, especially on the line of duty. In fact, he sometimes wondered if making them part of the Civil Corps was a good idea to begin with.

But now as the missions became increasingly dangerous, Justice had been considering not to send in the builder for further missions for their well being, but despite his worries he still needed their help. And now, they were so close to reaching Logan's hideout. They had been following his goat for a while until it they reached a cliff. What happened next was a blur for Justice. It all happened so quickly one moment they were chasing the goat down and on the next he watched helplessly as they plummeted to what he assumed was their demise. After all, that wasn't a survivable fall.

Justice was absolutely destroyed, screaming and yelling out for the builder in hopes that somehow they could hear him. But despite his efforts, the builder couldn't hear his pleas now that they were deep into Logan's hideout.

Back at the top of the cliff, Justice was on his knees crying and blaming himself for what happened. It was uncharacteristic of him to breakdown this way, but Unsuur knew that his friend had just lost the love of his life, and he himself had lost his best friend. Unsuur isn't the best with words, so he sat down next to Justice, rubbing his back as an attempt to comfort him. After a few minutes, Justice decided that it was time to face the facts and break the news to the mayor and the whole town.

Both of them rode on their horses in silence as they escorted the builder's horse back to town in silence. In Justice's mind, the scene played over and over again, and he couldn't help it and began sobbing quietly the rest of the way back.

As Matilda rallied everyone to the outdoor stage of the Blue Moon, Justice locked himself in his house, not being able to hear the eulogy for his beloved, after all how could he go face everyone if he was the one to blame for this. He simply sat on his bed, his head between his hands crying. Justice absolutely hated himself and was considering to leave the Civil Corps and leave Unsuur as the Sheriff.

But what Justice missed out on was that builder was alive and kicking. But now they were being interrogated by the whole town on how they managed to survive. It was so overwhelming that Matilda had to tell everyone to back off the builder since they had just come back. But the only thing on the builder's mind was finding Justice, since they knew he'd be the most devastated. After everyone gave the builder some space, Unsuur told them that Justice was locked up on his house. The builder then immediately ran off to Justice's house and as soon as they got there they began knocking on the door frantically, begging for Justice to open up.

They could hear him run over to the door, tripping along the way and as soon as he swung the door open, he felt a wave of relief wash over him as he saw the builder standing there, a bit roughed up but alive. Now Justice had been given a second chance, he didn't say anything at first, simply enveloping the builder in a hug and breaking down in tears again. Between the sobs he apologized for crying because he was happy to see them again. Then he took them inside, and the builder made up a lie since they didn't want him to know what really happened and simply told him that they had fallen onto another ledge and had passed out for a good while, and then they had to climb all the way up again.

Luckily Justice believed it, and couldn't help but holding the builder close as they kept reassuring him that this would never happen again. Finally, they kept chatting and joking on how Justice was about to quit the Civil Corps out of impulse. And then him insisting that they would sit out on the dangerous missions form now on, earning him a barrage of protests from the builder.

ok i will make my post about legends of tomorrow 5.09 “zari not zari” now. i liked this episode :) introduces charlie’s scary sister and reveals that the other lady is also her sister! the main storyline is a lot more of plot stuff than character stuff which is less interesting to me but it’s engaging enough to watch so that’s fine. of course i adored the zari b-plot as well. zari meets zari! and the ending of this episode....oh boy what a gut punch.

first off i thought it was soooo funny how they referenced supernatural and the legends went to where supernatural was filming. absurdly funny to me that sara is a spn fan and wants to fuck dean. it makes me wonder what tv or movie character ava wants to fuck, my guess would be carol from the movie carol but idk. also funny that neither charlie nor constantine are spn fans. i guess because their lives are already supernatural enough. the spn music cues in the score made me laugh. thanks blake neely and daniel james chan. when sara saw the dead spn production people and was like “if theyre dead then whos filming season 15???” it inevitably made me think of covid. though im sure that wasnt the intention at the time.

charlie’s character has always felt like it was about queerness in textual and metaphorical ways and that is especially present here. even her choice to change her name to charlie and her sisters’ insistence on calling her clotho feels very trans. and charlie’s fear that she is just like her family, and sara’s reassurance that she is a legend because she chose to be one. and this idea of found family. very queer themes. i did find them a little on the cliche side but honestly i didnt really mind. its a good theme and its especially nice to see with a character who is textually bisexual. when sara is trying to strand the bone knife sister in the temporal zone and the bone knife sister is trying to drag sara along with her and charlie shows up and saves sara and cuts her sisters hand off....oh that was wonderful. and the look on sara’s face afterward is great as well. yay for found family and choosing your own destiny :)

finally the zari reveal! love that it’s video games that does it LOL. i think it’s so fun how the scene where zari 2 meets zari 1 really shows the difference in how tala ashe plays both characters. truly girls who say hiii vs girls who say bruh. it’s so nice to see how zari 1 is so overjoyed and relieved to hear that her brother and parents are alive and they have a good life. and i like that zari 2 is made a bit insecure by discovering this past version of her, and worries that she’s somehow lesser. i just really like the identity discovery stuff with zari and i think the show is executing it well.

what a bold and heartbreaking choice to have behrad killed while zari is on her totem trip. i thought the scene where we see zari crying and mourning was so moving. and i loved that she marched up to constantine and said this is YOUR fault and YOU have to help me fix this. it wasnt really said yet in this episode but i suspect that zari is going to be blaming herself for behrad’s death bc she would think about how she could have protected him if she had just not gone on her totem journey. and that might lead to her rejecting the idea of self-exploration altogether. right now she’s lashing out at constantine but i bet she’s gonna lash out at herself next. another thing i found interesting was how atropos (thats her name right?) was saying to behrad about how hes not supposed to be there and he had evaded fate and she was correcting the mistake. i guess thats about zari changing the timeline huh. will be interesting to see how that shakes out.

oh i totally forgot about the mick & ava storyline lol. it was fine i guess. really funny that mick would take family relationship advice from ava who is a clone and did not have a family. not his smartest moment. but i like how ava is so supportive of him and just wants to help. i love that she volunteered to help him, the two of them are so different but she feels a kinship toward him. maybe because, just like her, he is a lot more complex than he first lets on. and also since ava never had a family of course she would want to help mick make amends with his. mick’s daughter seems fun and i will be interested in seeing how the relationship between the two of them progresses. when he was with her for halloween and she dressed up as captain cold.......ohhhhhhhh
