Just finished Grian’s episode 60 of his Season 6 POV and..

OH BOY

There was:

-A full on Prank War that later evolved on the Civil War (Which was just. Such a mess)

-The heist of the Market Stock (NOW I UNDERSTAND THE “No one touches my bush” VERSE ON HERMITGANG!)

-The initial battle

-The flag war

-The Star-Team Base being an Escher nightmare

-The G-Team being absolute fuck-ups through the whole thing and somehow WINNING ANYWAY.

-Iskall generating the whole conflict just because.

-Poultry-Man retiring and chilling in a beach

-The Hidden Diorite Shop

-The creation of the Poultry-Cave

-The birth of Sahara

-Grian pretending to be a secretary “dO yOu WaNt SoMe SaNd??!”

-Him creating a parrot dancing room while the others do redstone

-The “did you die?” boxes

-Sherlock Grian v.s The Jangler (which was like, the funniest thing ever)

-Sherlock Grian seeing Ren and Doc and inmediately thinking “Middle age crisis” and “Mentaly unstable” lmaooooo

-Grian calling Ren Scooby Doo for the rest of the case and reenacting the unmasking scene with Scar

-Scar creating the Jangler personality by accident.

-The Mistery of the Salmon Man

-The first appearance of Ariana Griande on Sahara News.

-Grian starting the Elytra Course

-Grian having an infinity room of a wardrobe. Like, the man has 7000 skins.

I love this weird and psychotic man.

guys, i think the hermits are going to accidentally start a prank war again. because just like last time, a game of telephone has begun. first, false made iskall's build into ''false beans,'' her shop from the previous season. however, to give herself plausible deniability, she signs it with "love, Joel. x" due to his username, smallishbeans.

next, iskall sees this, and completely believes it. he thinks it was joel who pranked him, and as he says to pearl while showing off the sign, which he kept even after tearing the prank down, "joel gave me a kiss." in his most recent video, he pranks joel by sending him loads of anonymous messages in order to completely spam and fill his inbox, preventing him from getting any more mail, with notes such as "thinking about you. x"

of course, joel is going to have absolutely no context for this, because he didn't make the initial prank. so who is joel going to assume sent him all those messages while he was away on holiday? well, i have a guess.

i have to say the entire thing with blowing up mumbo's door was just. flawlessly executed in both concept and result. grian's like number one personality trait on the hermitcraft server, aside from being a troublemaker, is how much hes obsessed with mumbo. this man is completely deranged about mumbo. he's made it ABUNDANTLY clear he wants that crown just for the sake of having an object that proves he's mumbo's best friend. everyone knows this and has known this since he joined the server.

so to then take this desire, and trick/force grian into setting off a tnt trap that destroys mumbo's FANCY REDSTONE DOOR? oooh. ooohohohoh. it's so good. it immediately lands grian in a position that looks terrible, where he has to justify and explain what actually happened. it's redstone so he obviously can't fix it, unlike if just a portion of the build was blown up. he can't pretend it didn't happen and fix it before mumbo sees, because the tnt was placed where it actually hurts: the redstone design. it interplays perfectly back into the original sin of breaking doc's machine.

it also plays the psychological card--mumbo's only got one best friend, and it's not you. how could it be you? look how you just blew up something he worked so hard on! you can have the crown, but it's your actions that matter, and your greed to prove your friendship to mumbo with the crown has forced you to hurt him instead. it uses grian's desperation (insecurity?) against him to (potentially) drive them further apart. OUCH.

10/10 flawless torture. i'm incredibly pleased.

Covering the Perimeter (Season 9)

Prankster(s): Grian, GoodTimesWithScar, and Mumbo Jumbo; with assistance from Etho, FalseSymmetry, GeminiTay, ImpulseSV, Iskall85, Joe Hills, and Xisuma

Victim(s): DocM77

While Doc was on holiday, the Buttercups took on the enormous task of fully covering over his 500 by 500 block perimeter with solid land. After the prank idea was pitched at the weekly Hermitcraft meeting, many other Hermits joined in on the effort. The result was a huge expanse of fully terraformed plains, complete with scattered trees and flowers.

Free Glass (Season 7)

Prankster(s): Etho

Victim(s): Everyone

As part of his business venture Shade E-E's, Etho launched a raffle for a lifetime subscription service of free glass. However, the free glass came in the form of light gray stained glass panes, which are completely invisible in the normal inventory UI, spread across the empty slots of storage chests all over the server. Etho then launched an unsubscription service, where Hermits could pay to stop deliveries of free glass.

In celebration of Grian starting another war (I love buttercup trio so much they mean everything to me I'm so glad they are allies in this war) I want to make a list of all the wars (that I remember) that he has started or be really involve:

Hermitcraft season 6: The original prank war "It all started when Grian touched my redstone"

Hermitcraft season 7: Mycelium war, self explicatory and gave us Mother Spore.

Third life: Desert duo and flower husbands vs the rest of the server (I do not remember how it was called or if it even had a name, but I'm counting it has a war)

Hermitcraft season 8: Not technically a war but Grian leading Pearl and Impulse into a laggy and glitchy marketing strategy with boats in others peoples bases after finding the publicity in their zone (If the answer of the Big Eye crew wouldn't have been that good I'm sure this could have lead to another prank war)

Double life: Not technically a war also but Scar and he managed to get all the server against they

Hermitcraft 9: The rebellion, because he basically gave Impulse the task of generate content in Grumbot and put "Remove" "King" "Claim" there (even if he was referring to the shopping thing) + help the rebellion + help the thing to betray him at the end with the armor for everyone.

Limited life: The yellow peace, try to kill every green name on the server until there were just yellows.

Hermitcraft 9: Prank war part 2 Electric Boogalo, "It all started when Grian and Scar touched my redstone".

History doesn't repeat itself but sure it rhymes.

I love how the way the Perimeter War ended was by the Buttercups and friends doing something so insane that Doc physically could not counter it. Like this was half the server coordinating a massive coordinated rebel operation against The GOAT that resulted in the banishment underground of almost his entire season’s work… He’s already bombed their base, tried to ruin friendships, spread dragon eggs everywhere, and spread propagoata, how in the world do you escalate this?

Simple, you can’t.
