this is my 5th rewatch of rwrb now (a round of applause for mental illness everybody!) and I still start howling with laughter when alex orders henry around being all “I’m going to do some very bad things to you” and pretending to shut the door on him when henry’s late, and then it’s like…. hm, so are these “bad things” in the room with us right now?

Something very different for me, but like so many, I was hooked on the iconic Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. Then, when the hardcover version of the book was released, Henry's bonus chapter made the already wonderful story even more perfect.
Thennnnnn...they released the Movie Trailer and now 11th August can't come quickly enough!
Soooo..me being me, I decided to create a piece that was inspired by the bonus chapter and shows Henry and Alex newly engaged and getting ready to attend a ball together.

Oh, S**t || Henlex (December 2nd)
Usually, whenever Henry had to attend to an event, he would already be calculating the hour in which he would have Shaan picking him up to take him home, that's how much he would always look forward to those things. But this time, on this night, he was actually excited about this particular fundraiser, the one when not only he was determined to get enough money from the people attending the party for the Children's Hospital, but because Alex would be attending to the party, or at least he was hoping he would. And that was giving him huge butterflies in the stomach.
He was still surprised about how well things were going with the American man. They weren't 'besties' by any means, but things had developed into a good, nice status where they could be friendly, even playful with one another, all of aimed by an almost constant texting and phone calls at any time of night, and day. Not to mention it had made their own study environment much more calm, which in return made their assignment to move forward much more easily.
And tonight, they had a chance to hang out at a much more relaxed place than school, even if it wasn't the wildest of parties, they could still have fun, right? His train of thoughts came to a stop when the limo stopped and his door was opened for him to step out. Flashes came at it from every angle, and he waved a little at them before he turned around and headed inside, the yelling of 'Your Highness' being thrown at his back.
