I love the idea of the Luke & Leia time travel and are angry cats to Qui-gon. I can just imagine the scene where Qui-gon is like "I will train Luke he is (one of) the chosen ones" even tho he's an adult because Luke looks baby and Leia would gut Qui-gon if he tried to recruit her and Leia just looks at poor Obi-wan and is like: wow have you ever thought of caring about the child you're in charge of raising or is that just a completely foreign concept here?
Qui-Gon ‘Pathetic Lifeforms are My Hobby’ Jinn looks at Luke and makes the same mistake as everyone else who’s ever looked at him— he sees a beautiful cherubic babie, full of light and compassion and innocence. And, well— he’s not entirely wrong, but “innocent” hasn’t been an apt description in, oh, somewhere between five years and a decade. ‘Wow,’ Qui-Gon thinks, ‘he’s like a blinding sun of goodness. Training him is my life’s purpose.’ ‘Wow,’ everyone else thinks, ‘you’re really bad at caring for the child you’ve already taken on, haven’t you?’
The first time Qui-Gon tries to convince Luke to let Qui-Gon train him, both Luke and Leia stand there in shocked horror, both because training under Qui-Gon sounds like a nightmare, and because Obi-Wan is right there.
The second time Qui-Gon tries to convince Luke, they’re in the middle of a huge fight, and Leia only has time to punch Qui-Gon square in the face (inadvertently saving him from a blaster shot) when he suggests it.
The third time, the Skywalkers are prepared. When Leia sees where it’s headed, she gets up, grabs Obi-Wan with no tact whatsoever, and leaves Luke in the room with Qui-Gon. She’s not worried. Luke can be a stubborn bastard when he thinks he’s in the right.
Then she takes Obi-Wan to a spa and tries to make him talk about his feelings. She doesn’t get very far, and when they get back, she rips into Qui-Gon for abandoning Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan is horrified, Qui-Gon is furious, and no one is changing their opinion.
But the Skywalkers are stubborn. They can do this for as long as it takes.

thorn comes home and he’s Fine and he talks to fox and it’s Fine and there are Hugs and everything is absolutely Fine and there’s a whole corusant guard sleepover and everyone gets hot cocoa (it’s FiNe 🥲)
Yes of course, Thorn gets better and the first thing he does when he can leave his bed is to check on Fox because he is worried about his reckless brother!
And then he forces Fox to Jedi temple to see mind healers, tells Jedi what is happening and later they help Jedi take down Palpatine and everything is good and everyone is alive, even Fives <3

I have never been so happy to read about a man getting beat to death by a chair. I know you just posted you were worried but it was 1000/10 very satisfying will read at least ten more times before the day is over a++++

UhhhhhHhhHhhHHhhHhhhh oh! I recently learned that I have scar tissue on my lip. I’ve had it since I was a toddler, from when I ran into a piano bench, which also resulted in a tiny scar next to my right eye.
I obviously knew about the scar next to my eye, but I had no idea about my lip? And my mom was saying that there was the option for me to get surgery for it, but my parents opted out, so now I just. have a bump on my bottom lip.
Anyways, I just found it funny that I only just found this out a few weeks ago, so xD

5) honestly this is a hard one. I wanna say We Meet In Shadows because it’s the first fic I’ve ever managed to get over about 20,000 words for (I’m just past 75000 and have a way to go yet). Honestly though any story where I wanted it to be sad and people commented it made them cry were successes which might be a little mean but oh well lmao.
16) hmmmm, guilty pleasure tropes. I love character who takes all the responsibilities on themselves gets love and support. I love family fluff and supportive families. Mega angst with comfort at the end. I don’t know I’m kind of blanking.
Anything with angst.
22) I answered this but I’ll say it again, I find it hard to write without something in the background, music, movies, TV. My current thing is David Attenborough documentaries.
34) Sticking with the angst, I’m choosing something from Victims of Corruption, the innocent are the damned. Fun fact in my files this story is titled Mangos win Galidraan.

“I am so sorry.”
“Another Senate side track?”
It was a weak joke, but the undertone was deadly serious. The Jetii, Dooku, looked on the verge of tears.
“Indeed, we’ve lost the supplies and I do not think we’re going to be able to make it to you. You're going to need to hold on a little longer.”
The boy huffed a laugh.
“I’ll pass on the message.”
“No, Obi-Wan, you have to hold on. Just a little longer, please.”
“I’ve been holding on for three weeks Master, I... there’s shrapnel in my lungs, my insides are shredded my leg’s badly infected. We have no medical supplies and barely any food, Master, I need a bacta tank and surgery and right now I'm holding my insides together with the Force, string and 50-year-old medical sutures. I'm exhausted and nothing’s helping drive that away anymore, hasn’t for days now. The others will keep surviving. Please, when I die, don’t let them stop trying to send help.
“One week more, Obi-Wan, please. That's all it will take.
“For what, the Senate to divert another mission away from us. They want the planets resources; they need the people here dead to make their claim. Help isn’t going to make it in time for me, please save them. Promise me you'll keep trying.”
“The Council won’t stop; the Jedi will get to you. I promise, dear one, help will come. I am so sorry it has not managed to find you sooner.”
“It’s not your fault, grandmaster. You've tried so hard to get here, please never blame yourself.”
The camera view shook on the boy’s end, though he barely flinched at it, and the view was static for a second before refocusing.
“The bombing’s starting again, the signal won’t last.”
“Help will come, padawan. Remember, luminous beings, we are...”
“Not this crude matter. I know. May the Force be with you, Grandmaster.
“And with you, Obi-Wan.”
The comm cut out from his end, and the Jetii’s face crumbled.

I did the original sketch for the AU day of @commandercodyweek but didn’t have time to finish it until today! I hope you enjoy some jedi!Cody because I sure had fun drawing him and playing with coloring. I put a lot of time into the shading but I’m still not sure it’s right... oh well! Though now that I’m looking at this I see about five different things I want to change in regards to the armor...

Yes! I'm perfectly okay with people reblogging my snippets. If you reblog with comments (in the tags or not) you'd make my day.
I started posting snippets mostly as an obligation to myself to write weekly and now biweekly cause.... I don't write fast. 😂 At all. And at least this motivates me to make some progress, you know? And when I see a snippet getting a lot of attention it really cheers me up to know people are interested in my writing.

4. "Oh god... What did they do to you?"
Cody should have known something was going to go wrong as soon as the locals spirited General Kenobi away for some sort of ceremony.
Of course, he really should have known something was going to go wrong regardless, because this was General Kenobi and things always seemed to go wrong around him, but the man had assured him that everything would be fine, and who was he to argue with his general?
Cody did, on occasion, find it quite funny when his general got into trouble with the local inhabitants of whatever planet they'd found themselves on. How could it not be amusing when he was dyed orange to match his hair, or forced to participate in a ceremonial dance that involved walking exclusively on his hands?
This was not one of those times. This was not amusing at all.
When the woman who'd led General Kenobi away returned without him, alarm bells started ringing in Cody's head, but he kept his calm.
"Where is General Kenobi?"
"He is deep in communion with The Other," the woman, Leader Yanji, answered. "Not to be disturbed."
"Might we be able to see him?" Cody forced himself to remain even-toned. He was having one of his general's bad feelings, but he couldn't let Leader Yanji become suspicious. "We would like to commune with The Other too." He gestured to Waxer and Gregor beside him, who dutifully looked earnest and eager.
Leader Yanji burst into laughter. "You? You, who are not real people?" She looked amused. "No, you could not hope to commune with The Other."
Cody tamped down on the flare of anger-hurt that arose from that. It was not the first time he'd heard anti-clone sentiments and certainly would not be the last.
"Could we at least try?" he pressed. "We... aspire to be as good as you."
Leader Yanji mulled that over, then nodded her agreement. "Fine. It couldn't do any harm. You will find General Kenobi down that path." She pointed into the forest she'd emerged from.
"Thank you," Cody said, bowing as his general always did. With a quick hand signal, Gregor and Waxer were following him into the trees.
It was dark and cold and silent but for the slight wind rustling the trees and the soft thump of armored footsteps as they walked. Cody's apprehension grew as they went further and further down the trail.
Soon they saw a light up ahead, beckoning in the distance. Cody picked up the pace. It was still eerily silent as they approached, but Cody didn't let that disturb him. His general could be meditating, or something.
His general was not meditating. His general was hanging from his wrists in the center of a clearing, half naked and bleeding from over a dozen wounds.
"General!" Cody cried, rushing towards him.
General Kenobi lifted his head groggily, and Cody could now see there was some sort of collar around his neck. He didn't seem to have the energy to speak.
"Oh god, what did they do to you?" Cody mumbled, half to himself, as he, Waxer, and Gregor worked on untying the restraints and gently helping the general to the ground. They did not touch the collar. Experience told them that messing with a Jedi's connection to the Force (or current lack thereof) while severely injured could sometimes have adverse effects. Best to leave that one to the medics. Speaking of...
"We have to get him back to the ship," Cody ordered the two other troopers. "See if Tambourine can send down a shuttle with a medic to our location. Discretely."
Waxor and Gregor saluted and turned to their comms.
"Cody?"
He turned back to see that General Kenobi had directed his gaze towards him and was now attempting to sit up.
"No, sir, you have to stay down," he said, gently but firmly putting his hand on the general's shoulder and pushing him back down.
"Wha' happen'd?"
Cody huffed a laugh. "I was rather hoping you'd be able to tell me that, sir."
General Kenobi hummed, visibly struggling to remember. "I... There was... chanting? And... said I had too much? To talk with the...?" He waved his hand weakly.
"Too much what?"
"Force," Kenobi replied. "Tried bleeding out the... Force." Then he gestured to the collar around his neck with a wince. "Tried this when tha' didn't work."
Later, Cody would let himself have a private freakout about someone trying to bleed the Force out of his general, but not now. Now, he had to focus on care.
General Kenobi's eyes started to slip close, tired as he was from the small conversation.
"Don't go to sleep, sir," Cody said. He had to keep him talking... "Where did they put your robes?"
"Didn't lose them!" The general was wide awake now. "Tell... Tell Anakin... didn't lose them. Took them."
Cody had heard enough of the ribbing that Skywalker gave General Kenobi to know that his general was apparently rather infamous for losing his robes across the galaxy. Delirious, the point that his robes had been taken and not lost seemed to be very important to the general.
"I'll let them know," Cody assured him, and gave up on the robes query.
After that, the general began to lose more of his grip on his surroundings. He became increasingly anxious, muttering about how "they" were going to turn on him, about blood-filled hallways and children dying, about hot, endless sand. Cody tried to get him to drink something, but he refused and kept turning his head away when Cody tried to force the issue. By the time half an hour had gone by, General Kenobi was barely conscious and had turned feverish.
Cody stared at the sky fervently, hoping beyond all measure that the sound he heard was repulsors from the shuttle and not anything else. Please, he thought. He needs help.
