Horse girl Franziska is such a funny headcanon to me bc, as someone who spent my childhood volunteering at a riding school, I've never seen anyone who dresses like Franziska near the horses (unless it's a dressage competition). Some kids would show up dressed to the nines on their first riding lesson but they dropped that shit real quick for a pair of riding pants and some riding boots/chaps + cap. Like if you wear white around horses for a prolonged period of time it's gonna stain. It's part of the reason ppl who do dressage competitions take someone to help them with their horse to the competition. If you're mucking stables or brushing a horse you wear casual clothes. Most of the ppl working for the riding school didn't even wear make-up while there.

So basically there's a few options:

Franziska owns her own horses and has grooms to take care of them (boooo, fake horse girl)

Franziska has some casual clothes she wears when taking care of the horses

Everyone at her stables thinks she's a goddamn idiot and she needs to replace her white dress shirts every month

Getting paid to watch some cute idiot try to murder little skrunkly sounding objects

so the abc has that article about the no dams campaign and it’s bloody brilliant but I do think that it should’ve mentioned that even if the project had gone ahead despite being based off of poorly done mathematical predictions... the west coast would’ve still been fucked over by the government. it had been seen as a waste of time since before then due to the mining bust. even ignoring that likely the only boost to the regional economy would’ve been during construction, and they likely wouldn’t hired locals for that, the hydro doesn’t employ as many people as it did then. there’d have quickly been the same amount of jobs as there had been and they’d have lost a major tourist attraction when tourism currently keeps the area afloat.
