i like doing the orin duel last in yves’ playthrough bc it’s like theee climax of her story and also so she doesn’t get time to process her trauma bc I fight the brain right after hehe 🤭. but anyway throughout act 3 yves doesn’t just get her memories back as the bhaalspawn, she also gets the slow revelation of how she became one.
bc yves used to live in the lower city and she was one of the kelemvorite mortarch working in the graveyards before she got turned, id imagine current yves came across people she knew before, as well as visited the mortuary (where she spent the most time in) and found her old journal detailing her life - or lack of- after she got turned. yves managing to slowly piece together her past ; she was a kelemvorite cleric - at least that part of herself is true - but she tried to look into the ritualistic killings by the bhaalists and got killed bc of it. and then, to spite kelemvor, bhaal took that dead cleric’s flesh and face and moulded it with his to make his very own bride -> durge yves. she’s made for the sole purpose of worshipping him instead of her death god and killing for him. and when she’s killed enough in his name, he’ll consider that dowry sufficient and claim her, fully making her his.
anyway, yves’ revelation that she died and was remade against her will, and she’s essentially just wearing a dead girl’s face, and she defiled her own god and twisted his teachings in the worst way possible likeeeeee … the spiraling..!! and the meltdown …!!!! the NEED to claw at her own skin bc existing in it disgusts her. and now she’s seeing small fragments of the horrible things she has done for bhaal, and the killings she performed, and perhaps the worst thing was she remembered that she liked it. and the ecstasy that came through her whenever she did it. and when she tries to pray to kelemvor again now that she has her own mind back bhaal literally stops her heart from beating as a reminder that he holds her leash.
so when the time comes and she has decided that she’ll rid of all the bhaalspawns (and then herself), and when she’s duelling orin, I always make yves cast divine intervention to finish orin off bc it’s like her calling out to kelemvor and offering herself to him again. and when he answers her call and she denies bhaal, she’s finally granted the death she was denied of, and finally finally she can return back to her death god.
until withers is like lol no you’re not done yet
after the revival I think yves is like 🧍‍♀️ a bit shell shocked and lost. but she doesn’t have time to reevaluate herself when there is a nether brain to fight and she’s helping dismantle the very thing she crafted with gortash. and in the end she lets wyll go with karlach to avernus because she thinks he’s better off without someone like her, and after the little party they’ll have I imagine yves quietly leaves. she joins the other clerics who are helping clean up the aftermath. she doesn’t say that she was part of the group who helped saved the city, only claimed that they helped her in one point, and she doesn’t keep contact with anyone and generally tries to avoid them - out of her own shame and her own guilt.
she keeps the memories with her though - even the most disgusting and horrible ones, and with time she wrangles through them and learns to reconcile. she accepts this strange life of hers now, and she tries to help and do good just so when she finally finally reunites with the god of death again, the scales are at least tipped to her favor.

I promise I can write something that’s pure fluff. See?!
In the newly renovated Fright Zone, the gang is having a party. Catra and Glimmer duet Shaggy. Catra has a surprise. --- AJ Michalka has a phenomenal voice and covers "Warriors" on the SheRa soundtrack. She does this in character as Catra and even says "Hey Adora," at the end, what else did you expect me to do with that except come up with an excuse for Catra to sing this for Adora? I'm sure this has been done before this is just my take. Also whenever I hear "Wasn't Me," or "Angel," by Shaggy I imagine Glimmer and Catra getting drunk and singing it.
Adora brought a hand to her nose, trying to cover her snorting laughter. Besider her Bow swayed in time to the music. Light flashed from above blue and pink.
“HA!!”
Adora couldn’t stop herself, exploding into a fit of giggles, nearly toppling the cocktail in her hand. Nearly sending pink liquid all over her white pants and halter top.
On the stage, her girlfriend and her best friend sang like they hadn’t a care in the world.
“How could I forget that I had given her an extra key? All this time she was standing there she never took her eyes off me!”
Glimmer sang into the mic, her purple leather skirt sparkling in the stage lights.
“Wooow! Yeah Glimmer!” Bow cheered, he took another sip of his beer. More delicately then anyone else around them and probably the only one with a modicum of sobriety left. All around them people sang along, swaying and trying to dance.
“To be a true player you have to know how to play!” Catra sang, winking at Adora from her place on the stage. Her hair had grown out again in the year after the war. Already falling just beyond her shoulders. Adora took a sip of her drink to conceal the blush rising in her cheeks.
“ To be a true player you have to know how to play, if she stay a night, convince her stay a day, Never admit to a word when she say. And if she claim, ah, you tell her, "Baby, no way"
“But she caught me on the counter!” Glimmer’s voice cracked but she kept going,
“It wasn’t me!” Catra leaned forward into the mic.
“Saw me banging on the sofa!” Glimmer laughed, leaning in to meet Catra halfway.
“It wasn’t me!”
“I even had her in the shower!”
“They’re not bad,” Bow admitted whispering in Adora’s ear. The blonde nodded, pulling a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. Catra had convinced her to wear it down for once.
“Saw the marks on my shoulder!” Glimmer and Catra sang in unison. Catra unsheathed her claws in flash, winking again, this time a little more suggestively at her girlfriend in the audience. Cheers erupted throughout the bar, an eager welcome Adora thought, her chest warming. To have Catra greeted with rounds of applause rather than boos and hisses and threats.
“ Honey came in and she caught me red-handed, creeping with the girl next door, picture this, we were both butt-naked, banging on the bathroom floor. I had tried to keep her from what she was about to see, why should she believe me when I told her it wasn't me.”
Glimmer and Catra belted through the mic. It was all Adora could do not to transform into Shera. Just the sight of seeing Catra in the limelight, black pants held up by suspenders, her white shirt open just a tad too loose. She took a swig of her whisky mid chorus and continued to sing.
“I have to hand it to Scorpia and Perfuma; they've really done wonders with the Fright Zone,” Bow mused. He clapped along to the music and finished his drink.
“They sure have!” Adora answered, finally turning her attention from the stage. “Glad they were able to renovate the place into a karaoke bar. Somewhere in the distance Mermista’s groan could be heard, Adora turned. Seahawk and the water princess sat at one of the tables, the pirate’s eyes wide with amazement at the flaming martini set down before him.
“Should I….?” Adora made a b-line towards their table. Mermista flunk out her hand, a spray of water dousing the flames.
“Just drink it,” she groaned to Seahawk’s evident dismay. Adora bit back a grin. It had been awhile since they’d been able to just kickback and relax, indulge even. Post-war meant bringing magic to all the galaxy. Which meant traveling around, squashing the last of Prime’s brotherhood. Plus meetings after meetings and much needed reconciliation between Catra, Entrapta, Wrong Hordak, Scorpia and everyone else. It had been trying and difficult and the work was far from finished. But tonight, tonight was a chance to simply let loose.
“Honey came in and she caught me red-handed, creeping with the girl next door, picture this, we were both butt-naked, banging on the bathroom floor. How could I forget that I had, given her an extra key, All this time she was standing there, she never took her eyes off me!!” Glimmer and Catra finished in unison. Again cheers lifted from the crowd. Glimmer bowed, losing her balance until Catra caught her by the arm to steady her and they made their way down the stage.
“Wow, that was...wow,” Scorpia’s face nearly matched the color of her claws. “That was..I don’t think I understood half those words! But uhh next, next...we have...Perfuma! Who I’ve been told is going to do an...an interpretive dance called Ode to Rain, so that will be….uhh….fantastic.” Scorpia laughed nervously but clapped all the same while Perfuma seemingly floated up the stage.
“Hey!” Glimmer greeted Adora with a hug and Bow with a kiss.
“You were great!” Bow put his arm around her waist. “Who knew you and Catra could duet so well together!”
Glimmer laughed, full and hearty, accepting a glass of sparkling wine from Bow.
“Where is Catra?” Adora looked around the crowd. “I thought she came down with you?”
“She said she had to get ready for something,” Glimmer shrugged.
Adora nodded, trying to quell the bubble of anxiety that threatened to rise.
Catra would be fine, she can be left alone. She’s not a child. She’s perfectly capable.
Bodies pressed against Adora in the maylay of the crowd. Talking and drinking and laughing. The lights flashed all around them. Dizzying.
There’s so many people here….what if...there could be….threats. Some clone we forgot?
Someone wanting to take Catra down?
Adora forced herself to breathe, gripping her glass tight.
“Adora, you alright?” Glimmer touched her arm.
“Yes!” She smiled automatically, “I’m great!” She took a breath, eyes flicking upward as Perfuma left the stage.
Still no sign of Catra.
“It’s just...I worry sometimes...I worry about leaving Catra alone sometimes...what if there’s…”
Glimmer opened her mouth to respond when a cool light drifted across the crowd from above to the stage.
“Adora….you might want to…” Glimmer pointed. Adora followed her gaze, jaw nearly dropping to the floor. Silhouetted against the limelight a lone figure stood before the mic. The outline of someone wearing a tight fitting black dress that fanned out toward the bottom. Catra’s tail swished nervously behind her, ears flicking. She stepped forward, the high slit of her dress revealing one leg as she moved. The light illuminating her freckled face, mismatched eyes gleaming.
“Oh my….” Adora took the last sip of her drink. Beside her bow gasped. Even Glimmer’s eyes stared wide with shock. The hub-bub of the crowd died instantly, everyone holding their breath. Even Emily and Entrapta, who were observing in the corner, fell silent.
Catra’s shaky inhale of breath sounded through the mic throughout the bar. Adora waited, stunned. Taking in her girlfriend, the deep V of her dress, the way she shifted her weight. Then finally, after a mini-eternity, Catra’s eyes slipped close and her voice drifted out:
“We're warriors, unstoppable. We feel the evil coming, and shadows all around.”
She sang low and haunting, each word a melodic whisper. Goosebumps rose on Adora’s skin.
“Danger surrounds us, but won't bring us down. We're on the edge of greatness, turning darkness to liiightt,”
Her voice undulated and moved like the waves, the crowd beginning to hum. She opened her eyes, gold and blue sparkling in the light. Catra’s gaze looked through the throngs of people finally meeting Adora’s. The blonde felt her knees shake, she passed her glass to Glimmer without looking away. Catra smiled,
“We're right beside you, ready to fight. We must be strong! And we must be brave! We gotta find every bit of strength that we have and never let it go!”
“Wooo!! Yaaaah!!!” People exclaimed, clapping. Catra’s smile widened, she took the mic from it’s stand, now walking across the stage, tall and proud and brimming with pride. Adora’s cheeks ached, beaming with a smile. She too clapped along.
“We're bound to this struggle, with mighty sword and flame, we'll never fail you, when you call our name.”
She turned, again meeting Adora’s radiant face across the audience. Their eyes met, though Adora could hardly see her through a fog of tears pressing against her eyes. Her heart expanded so fast and full she thought it would explode. Catra too grinned with confidence, revealing pointed fangs. Her eyes dazzled, shoulders lifting as she sang, not once looking away from Adora.
“Together we'll be heroes, joining forces as one. Strong as the steel we carry, we rise like a su...uu...uu...un!”
She hit the note perfectly, the whole bar erupting into ecstatic joy.
“Yeah Horde Scum!” Glimmer fist pumped at the air, jumping up and down. Off to the side of the stage, Perfuma pat Scorpia on the shoulder through her tears.
“That’s my wildcat!”
Catra sang through another round of the chorus, parading back and forth. People reached out from below towards her, laughing and whooping.
“Cause we're warriors, we are unstoppable, nothing's gonna get in our way. We're gonna win in the end….”
Catra sang through the last chorus, coming to stand gracefully before the microphone stand once more.
“We're gonna reach inside, still together and fight and never let it go. We must be strong…” She finished with a flourishing whisper. Looking at Adora from her poised position stage, she blinked, slowly, her own voice cracking with emotion.
“Hey Adora.”
Tears streamed down Adora’s face, her heart hammering in her chest. She could feel herself glowing, transforming, this time brought on by pride and admiration for Catra. Catra who only sang in secret, in dark places, until now. Catra who had always deserved every bit of attention and affection and praise but never got it, until now. Catra who was so guarded who never let herself betray emotion or vulnerability, until now.
There was a white flash, people gasped, and Adora didn’t need to look down at herself to know she’d become Shera.
Catra climbed down from the stage with Scorpia’s assistance and made her way Adora, people parting for her instantly, cheering and clapping.
“Catra! Y...you! You’re…”
Catra’s lips cut off the rest of her sentence, pressing in a full deep kiss, nearly melting against Adora, well, Shera’s chest. Adora put her arms around her girlfriend holding her close, one hand to the small of her back. She had to control herself in public after all, though it was hard to do with her girlfriend looking so...so ravishingly gorgeous, so happy and exuberant. A new round of tears spilled down her cheeks.
“I knew you could sing,” she breathed, breaking the kiss only to press her forehead against Catra’s which required her to lean down a little more in this form. “But not...l...like that.”
Catra laughed, holding Adora’s hand to her face and leaning into her touch. The ruckus of people seemingly disappearing. The only thing that mattered, the center of her universe was already right in front of her.
“I love you,” Catra whispered.
“I love you too, so much.” Adora pulled her in for another kiss, the cheers escalating around them.
Catra rolled her eyes only to be shoved by Glimmer’s arms around her waist.
“Catra, where was that voice when we were singing?! I need to up my game!”
“That...that was beautiful Catra!” Bow wiped his eyes with his yellow jacket. “Absolutely beautiful.”
“Alright, alright Sparkles,” she pulled away from Adora’s hold. “Next time we do Angel by Shaggy I’ll be sure to really sing it with pathos, yeah? And take it easy Arrow Boy your gonna get snot all over your jacket.”
Glimmer only rolled her eyes but gave Catra a kiss on the cheek.
“Well next rounds on me Wildcat!” Scorpia announced happily clapping Catra across the back gently. This time Catra didn’t stiffen or bristle at the touch but smirked. A testament to how far she’d come in such a short time. Adora could hardly contain her emotion.
“You may regret that Scorp.”
The night continued on, Catra changed back into more comfortable pants and dress-shirt. Rogeilo sang...well..grunt roared some prolonged ballad that no one but Lonnie understood. Mermista and Seahawk performed no less than seven shanties. A curtin was set on fire by the third one. Frosta entertained with a series of impressive ice sculptures and Double Trouble, dramatic as they were, impressions that left everyone’s sides sore from laughter. Scorpia closed out the evening, singing a rendition of “Beautiful,”  by Christina Aguilera that had everyone, even Catra in tears by the end. Though Catra swore her eyes were she only  irritated by the bright lights.
Adora put her arms around Catra from behind, still having advantage of being in her Shera form. Muscular arms holding her girlfriend close in the dark of the crowd while Scorpia, sang her last few notes. Catra swayed in tandem, tail going around her girlfriend’s leg, she leaned her back against Shera’s broad torso and hummed. Adora planted a kiss on the crown of Catra’s head. The mark of the Heart of Etheria glowing against her chest. In the mass of folks and the company of friends, lights glowing and Catra content in her arms, sniffled happily through tears of joy.
They had indeed won in the end.

Unfortunate Soul Chapter 5
Tumblr media
Hello my lovelies, I'm back again. I'm sorry for the wait but it is what it is. Works got me busy and to make things worse they have me working on Thanksgiving, but even with everything that is going on I still find some time to write. Again, thanks to everyone that has commented and given me kudos. I do read all my comments and respond to them. It might take me a while but I will write back. I hope you enjoy this new chapter and I will see you all soon.

Arriving at our home Tenga came running out. As soon as I stepped foot outside, he bombarded me with a million questions. "Are you ok? Is the baby alright? Do you need anything?" He looked out of sorts. His well-groomed hair was disheveled, his clothes all wrinkled, and he had heavy bags under his eyes.
"I'm ok; Ten, so is the baby. It was just a slight scare. But the better question is if your feeling well. I'm sorry to say this, bro, but you look like shit." I caressed his face trying to put him at ease. I worry that the stress of my situation was too much for my kind-hearted brother.
"I'm fine, I promise. I'm more concerned with what the doctors had to say." He looked at my parents expectantly, then turn his gaze back at me, expecting an answer. I just stared at him, realizing that I had no idea what had happened.
"I'm not sure." I was at a loss.
My dad got out of the car, approaching us both.  "It was due to high blood pressure caused by stress. He needs to get plenty of rest and follow the doctor's instructions. Damn, Katsuki almost killed them both! I swear that kid will not get away with the trouble he has caused to our family." Blue lighting was coursing through his arm, the anger in his eyes evident.
"Toshi, come down. This anger is not suitable for your heart. Please, baby, let's take a deep breath and calm down." Mom embraced him and kept speaking in soft tones. My mom's scent clearly washed away the stress and anger that my dad was feeling. "Tenya, please bring Izuku's thing in the house where we continue this conversation." With that, he led my dad inside our home, caressing his back and saying comforting words.
"Are you sure your ok?" Tenya asked one more time to make sure that I wasn't hiding anything from him.
"Yes, TenTen. I promise to let you know if anything has changed."
We followed my parents into our home, where I continued to my room. I wanted to get settled before having this conversation. My nerves were still a bit shaken up after my ordeal. Laying down on my bed, I closed my eyes, letting the silents of the room calm me. I still couldn't wrap my head around the thought that I needed to decide soon which of my three potential mates I should meet first. I wanted to make a well-informed decision by getting to know each of them, but my heart was still torn. I felt like I was cheating on Kacchan just by having their profiles, let alone going out on dates with them. I was so scared of what Katsuki would do if he found out I was even considering meeting them, but a part of me knew that he wouldn't care.
I reached into my bag and pulled out the folders wanting to give them one more read before deciding. A knock on my door let me know that I had a visitor, but with the destressing scent coming through the door, I know it was Tenya. "Come in, Tenya."
"Hey, I just wanted to see if you needed anything."  He replays as he walks into my room, closing the door behind him. "Nope, just about to go through these files one more time before telling mom which guy I want to meet first." My voice was low and tired. I just wanted everything to go back to normal. I didn't want to have to go through this pregnancy alone, and the fact that Katsuki didn't give a crap about me made the whole situation worse.
The scent of fear and sadness was unmistakable in the air. Tenya put his arm around me, pulling me to his side, scenting me in the process. "Hey, honey, don't worry about it. I'm sure everything will turn out ok. I know that this is all overwhelming, but it will all turn out fine in the end. "How do you even know that, Tenya. I'm an 18 yr old Uke, unwed and pregnant. My child's father wants nothing to do with us, and now I have to go out and meet this Seme that God only knows why they would even waste their time with a used Uke, like me.  I hate all of this. I just want my life back. I just wish that this had never happened to me in the first place."
I could feel new tears at the corner of my eyes, but I would not let them fall. I was tired of all this crying. I had to try and get through this.
"I know, Zuku. But the truth of the matter is that this is the right thing to do. I don't want you to go through hardship, and we both know that being a single mom in this new society is the worst-case scenario. Back before the pandemic, being a single mom was empowering, but now it just means that you were not good enough as a Uke. Society would treat you like a stain in our newfound utopia. They would see you and your kid as the scum of the Earth. We don't want that for you, honey." He says as he rubs my shoulders and released his calming scent.
"Can I look over the profile?" Tenya asked, pointing at the files that were on my lap. "Sure, they all seem like nice guys. I just wish I know why they would even want to settle with someone like me." I frown as I pass him the files.
"Don't say that, Izuku. There is nothing wrong with you. You are a wonderful person. Any of these guys would be lucky to have you as his mate." His smile was genuine and sweet.
"Well, he looks like a great guy and handsome too." He points at Todoroki's photo, and I smile. I have to admit that Todoroki was extremely handsome. His exotic features were captivating, and the fact that he was so close to his mother was a plus in my books.
"Yeah, I think he might be a nice guy too. Do you think I should tell mom to set up a meeting with him? I'm really nervous about meeting any of them." My hands were shaking, and  I'm sure that Tenya notices.
Placing my hands in his own, Tenya gave them a small squeeze to reassure me that this was the right thing to do. "I promise everything is going to be okay. If it doesn't work out with him, you still have two more guys to check out." He smiled, lifting all my doubts. "Now that that is settled, let's go and talk to mom and find out what the doctors had to say." Patting my knee, we left my room in search of our parents.
Entering the living room, we heard my dad talking very animatedly on the phone. I sat next to mom and asked who he was talking to. He informed me that my dad was on the phone with Katsuki's parents.
"Why would he do that?" I couldn't believe that he would call them. I was done with all of this bullshit. There is no point in getting them involved anymore. Katsuki has made it perfectly clear that he wants nothing to do with me. Why can't dad just let it be?
"Honey, he is only looking out for you." He pats my knee with a look of concern. "I understand, ma, but can't we just let it go. I just want to go on with my life. One of the reasons why I came downstairs was to ask you to get the matchmaker to set up a meeting with Shoto Todorokoi." I was so tired of all of this. My anxiety was through the roof.
"Sweetheart, I'm glad to hear that you have chosen to meet with him. But you have to understand that Katsuki's irresponsibility has affected this family. He needs to be made aware. We almost lost you." He hugged me, trying to calm his nerves. "I was so scared, Zuku. I truly believed that you weren't going to make it. If he would just accept the situation and stop acting like a child, we could have avoided all of this." I stayed in his warm embrace for a couple more minutes until my dad came to sit in front of us.
"Mitsuki is heartbroken. She feels so helpless in this situation. Of course, she demanded that Katsuki takes responsibility, but that boy is as stubborn as she is. He is adamant that he is not the father, and no matter what she says, he will not budge." He placed his head between his hands and sighed.
"Toshi, honey. Izuku has decided to meet with Shoto Todororoki. Why don't we just leave this situation alone with Katsuki and just move forward? Who knows, maybe one of these suitors can make our son happy. This whole situation has been such a tiring ordeal that I'm sure we all just want to leave it behind us." He says with a small smile.
"If that is the case, call Madama Midnight to set up the meeting. I hope you are considering giving each one of these gentlemen a chance to get to know you. I know that we are running out of time, and I would hate for people to start speaking unfavorably about you. But you can not take this decision lightly; the choice is essentially yours to make willingly and wisely."
"I understand, dad; I promise I will give this my all." I know that no matter what decision I make or who I choose in the end, it will be someone who will genuinely want me, and I can't ask for anything more.
A week had gone by, and things were pretty much the same. Katsuki once again had a new guy by his side, and poor Yuga was a shell of his formal self. The poor guy no longer wears his fabulous fashion nor his radiant smile. Now he just walked around like a zombie. I feel for the poor kid. He's such a nice guy to have around, and everyone in our school honestly seems to like him. It infuriates me to see him this way. Sure, we don't hang around the same friend group, but that doesn't mean that he deserved what Katsuki put him through.
My friends and Tenya have genuinely been my rock. Eijiro and Denki have been nothing but supportive and understanding. I've even have caught Eijiro giving me some extra helping of food during lunch unconsciously. I'm sure that his actions were driven by his "Seme's"  need to care for a Uke in distress, and Denki seemed to understand that it's just in his nature to help and not that Eijiro was trying to court me. As all four of us were making our way to the front gate, I happened to see a tall guy in uniform waiting by the entrance. At first, I didn't think anything of it until we came closer, and I realize that I had seen his face before.
"Oh my God, Tenya. Is that Mirio Togata? What in the world is he doing here?" I was shocked to see him here; I was not mentally prepared to meet him yet. I had every intention of meeting him, but I wasn't expecting this. After I got home from the hospital, my mom had called Madama Midnight the following morning to set up a meeting with Shoto. We were to meet in a couple of days.
"Izuku; you don't have to go, say hello. It seems as he hasn't seen you yet. We can just go back to school and wait for him to leave." I could see that Tenya was anxious, and he would prefer for us to leave.
"Listen, Zuku. Why don't Denki and I go and ask why he is here. Neither one of us knows each other, so it won't seem out of place to ask. That way, you don't have to interact with him until you are ready.”
I appreciate the concern Eijiro was showing for my situation, but I know that I couldn't keep relying on my friends to solve my problems. Besides, it's not like I wasn't curious to see what he wanted.
"I'm ok, guys. I'm just going to go and see what he wants. Besides, I would have to meet the guy eventually, and why not by saying hello." I smiled at my friends and started making my way to Mirio.
"Zuku, wait." I turned around to see Tenya running towards me. "Hey, I'm gonna stay close by just in case you need me, ok. I don't like the idea of leaving you alone with his guy." He seems determined to make sure that nothing happens to me. My brother is so caring and loving any Uke will be so lucky to have him.
"Ok, but really Ten. Don't worry so much. I'm gonna be ok."
As I made my way to the entrance, I could see that Mirio look nervous. He kept looking around as if he had lost something. I made my way to him; my anxiety was making me feel out of breath. "Um, excuse me. Is there anything I can help you with?" My voice was so small; it's a miracle that he even heard me."
He turned around, and his eyes became wild. "I can't believe that it's really you. Hi, my name is Togata Mirio. I'm sorry if I scared you by coming to your school unannounced. But I was on my way home from school, and I realized that your school was very close to mine. I know that you might not be interested in meeting me, but I just had to get to know you. Is there any way that I can walk you home?" His smile as he said his last word was so unbelievably genuine that I found my head bobbing up and down.
"Um, hi. I guess you already know my name. I'm Midoriya Izuku. I'm sorry if I gave off the impression that I was not interested in meeting you. I've just have had a couple of things pop up recently." I lowered my head and started fidgeting with the bottom of my shirt. I was so nervous. Here in front of me was one of my potential mates. Just standing next to him, smelling his intoxicating scent of morning dew and sunshine, was really doing a number on me.
"It's okay. I understand. I'm sorry I just showed up unannounced." He smiled again, and it just made me weak at the knee. Somehow this guy was doing things to me that I just couldn't understand.
"It's alright. Um, let me let my brother know that I will be walking home with you before leaving." I gave him a genuine smile and made my way to Tenya.
"Hey, he just wanted to know if he could walk me home to get to know me. I told him that I would. He seems like a nice guy. If anything happens, I will make sure to call you, ok."
Tenya looked upset, but he agreed with my decision.
"Listen, Zuku. You call me right away if you feel unsafe. You got it!" He was not taking no for an answer.
"I understand, please don't worry. I'll be ok." And with that, I started to make my way to Mirio.
Unbeknownst to me, Katsuki was watching our interaction. His white knocks were visible as he held his car door open, smoke coming out of his hands in small clouds. His eyes inflamed. He gets into his car, slamming the door, and drive away like the devil was chasing after him.

The Witch and the Tambourine, Part 5
The Part 5 and climax of the Caravaneer’s journey all over Vitaria.
After camping out near the Capital for the night, the Luminous stars find themselves face to face with of Vitaria’s deadliest creatures...The Chimera! Akimoto and his friends have faced this fearsome creature once before...But this one seems to be a bit stronger then there previous opponent. Akimoto and Vayle do not hesitate to fight back, but Fiona seems to be haunted by some memories of her childhood, and is hesitant to fight back herself...
*The Camp is illuminated with the flames of the forest as the Chimera roars!*
Tulio: It’s....IT’S A CHIMERA!!!
*The Caravaneers panic as they all flee in terror and hide away from the Chimera and the fire!*
Akimoto: Hrk! *Dodges out of the way of its paw!* What are you guys doing? This things trying to destroy your Caravan!
Tulio: I Told you, We’re not Fighters! We’ve never had to face beasts such as this! Kaseem and Valmiro are the only ones who know swordplay, but even they don’t use there skill for violence!
Akimoto: Grrr...Dammit...Fine! Then stay back and leave this thing to the ones who DO know how to fight! *Raises Scimitar, assuming a fighting stance!* HrrraaaaAAAAAGH!!!
*Akimoto raises his sword, cutting down on the chimera’s side as the beast roars furiously , the snake spitting acid at him as he rolls out of the way!*
Vayle: FIRE! *Casts fire magic on its wings so it won’t be able to take flight!*
*The Beast roars in agony, swiping its paws across the ground as the snake continues to rain acid!*
Vayle: Grrrr! *Jumps away!* We won’t get close with that snake spitting at us!
Akimoto: We fought this thing before! We already burned the wings, We just gotta cut off the snake, and it’ll be nothing more than a Glorified Manticore!
Valmiro: *Watching in awe, glaring at the beast!* Uuugh...I can’t just sit here and do nothing! I’m going out there!
Tulio: Absolutely not! I will not have you risk your life fighting a MONSTER like that!
Kaseem: Would you rather we were eaten alive by that beast while our little sister and those adventurers died in Vain trying to help us?! I’m going out there, too!
Tulio: NO! I will not let any of you become food for a Chimera! They’ve handled creatures like that before! Let THEM take care of it!
Valmiro: Father! Those strangers have done more for us than anyone ever has in our travels! They have helped us countless times...Now, it is OUR turn to HELP THEM! *Rushes out with Kaseem, the two charging for the Chimera, Scimitars in hand!*
Tulio: *!!!* VALMIRO!!! KASEEM!!!
*The Chimera roars furiously, suddenly getting a scimitar thrown into his side as it rives in pain!*
Valmiro:  HEY!! OVER HERE, YOU MONSTER! You want Dinner?! COME AND CATCH IT!
Akimoto: *!* Huh?! What the hell are you guys doing?!
Vayle: They’re clearly distracting it! This is our chance, Akimoto! Aim for the Snake!
Akimoto: Got it! *Shouts to them!* HEY! One of you keep the snake busy! The other distract the lion!
Kaseem: I got the snake! *Begins distracting the snake as it attempt to snap and spit at him!*
Akimoto: Now’s my chance...SWORD-BREAKER! *Unleashes a red energy wave from his sword as it cuts through the snake, completely severing it from the body as it wiggles and slithers in agony! It’s glowing eyes finally darkening!*
*Fiona freezes in front of the caravan in terror, watching as the beast attempts to bite as the brothers, then turning its attention to Akimoto and Vayle*
Fiona:...*Completely frozen in fear, her eyes shaking with hesitation and panic!*...
Arcana: (What are standing here for? Aren’t you going to fight it?!)
Fiona: ...N-...No...I can’t...I-I...I don’t think I can...
Arcana: (Standing here doing nothing won’t get us anywhere! Your friends clearly need help, you insolent girl!)
Fiona: B-but that monster! It’s like the same one that killed Esmeralda years ago, I...I-I don’t think I can fight something like that!
Akimoto: Hrk! *Slice!* HIYAH! *Slash!*
*The Chimera Roars in Fury, Nothing more then a giant feathered Lion without its wings or Snake Tail as it begins to rampage, breaking down trees and swiping at the party in a blind fury!*
Vayle: Giyah! *Barely dodges the creatures paw, leaving a small tear in her skirt!* *!!!* Grrrr...That does it! LEVIN!!! *Releases several lightning bolts onto the beast!*
*The beast slams its paws down on the ground, sending the party flying in different directions!*
Arcana: (Listen to me! If you don’t do something, those idiots will die! I know full well how devastated you would be if anything happened to the Infernus boy and that Seeress! Now GET UP AND FIGHT!)
Fiona: I-I...I can’t...I just...I just can’t...
Arcana: (Dammit, child! Then release the restraints and I WILL do something about it! Are you really going to be so cowardice as to just sit here and watch those who care for you DIE ONCE AGAIN?!)
Fiona: N-NO! It’s not like that! I-
Akimoto: GIYAAARGH! *is sent flying, skidding and landing six feet away from Fiona, the vest and bandanna of his costume completely ripped off into chunks of fabric!* Grrrrrr....Dammit....This one’s...a lot stronger then the one before it...
Fiona: *!* AKIMOTO!
Akimoto: Grrrr...F-Fiona...it’s alright...*Turns to her smiling!* It’s gonna be okay!
Fiona: *!!!* *Freezes in horror! suddenly catching glimpses of her past, the day the Manticore killed Esmeralda*
*Esmeralda looks back at Fiona with a smile, injured with a Scimitar in her hand*
Esmeralda: It’s going to be okay, Child...
*The Manticore pounces at Esmeralda, the memories flashing back to the present day, as the Chimera charges its way toward Akimoto, its mouth open wide!*
Fiona: *!!!*...*Her heart pounds, as a serge of anger suddenly gets her to her feet, rushing out in front of Akimoto, readying a spell to repell the beast!*  NO!!!
*The Spell hits the beast, completely freezing it in a radiant aura as it struggles to break free!*
Akimoto: *!!!* *Stumbles back to his feet!* Woah...
Vayle: FIONA!
Fiona: I won’t let it happen again...I WON’T LET ANY OF YOU HURT MY FAMILY EVER AGAIN!!! *Her hands flash with magic!* COSMIC SPARK!!!
*the aura breaks around the Chimera as it begins to disintegrate into glowing yellow dust, completely vanishing into nothingness...The flames then begin to die down around them!*
Fiona: *Huff*...*Huff*...*Huff*...*Falls to her knees, her skirt neatly planted into the ground around her as she begins to sob!*
Vayle: *Stares at Fiona, walking toward her as she also kneels before her!*  Fiona...You did it! You defeated it!  *gives her a big hug!* You were so brave!
Fiona: I-I...I...*Sniff!* I didn’t want to lose you guys...I Didn’t want to lose you guys like I lost the White sparrows! I...*Sniff!* I Don’t know what I’d do without you or Akimoto! OR ANYONE BACK HOME! *Sobs, Hugging Vayle Tightly!*
Vayle: Ssssh...It’s okay, darling...Everything’s okay now...*Stroking her hair gently, comforting Fiona tightly in her arms!*
Akimoto: *Smiles, sword weighing on his shoulder* Heh...You two weren’t half bad out there...Thanks for the help!
Valmiro: Of course! You guys saved us a lot on this trip! We thought it was only fair to return the favor!
Tulio: Hahaha...Hahaha! HAHAHAHAAAAA! WE LIVE! WE ARE UNHARMED! HAHAHAAAAA!!!
Gerardo: YEEEESSS!!! GERARDO LIVES!
Rosalita: You were all so brave! Well done! WELL! DONE!
*Severus watches from binoculars on a hill-top as the Caravaneers celebrate and hug one another!*
Severus: I...I-I Can’t believe this! They defeated it?! THOSE BLASTED DANCERS ACTUALLY DEFEATED THE CHIMERA?! *Throws the Binoculars against a rock!* DAMN IT ALL!!! DAMN THAT HALF-DEMON SCUM!!! *Kicks his foot in the grass angrily!* Grrrr...If they are this strong...Then maybe they REALLY ARE attempting to cause an uprising! Why else would they be camped near the capital...?
Despoire Soldier: What should we do, my lord?
Severus: Since the Chimera failed, We’ll take them down ourselves! *Point!* get the archery unit into position and pick them off one by o-*CRACK!* HRK!...Grr...Uuuugh...*Passes out, falling to ground, a figure behind him knocking him out cold with a hard chop!*
Mika: *her wings still sprouted, she lowers her hand, picking Severus up while he’s unconscious!* ...
*The Two soldiers stare at her in terror*
Mika: Hmph...*Glares at them*...The High Chancellor WILL be hearing about this...*Spreads her wings, flying off toward the castle with unconscious Severus*
Fiona: *wipes away her tears* I...I was so scared...I’m glad everyone’s okay!
Tulio: All thanks to you, Little sister! had it not been for your brave act, none of us would be standing here right now!
Hilde: *Putting out the last of the flames with buckets of water* Uuugh...*Phew* I coulda easily wrestled that beast myself, but I had to make sure my Sons didn’t wet themselves in terror!
Miguel: Thankfully, none of us were hurt, and that magic you did actually put out most of the flames, so no forest fires tonight! Thank the heavens...
Rosalita: and you boys were so brave! It was very sweet of you to defend the caravan from that monster...But...*Smacks them both on the head with a fan!* Don’t YOU EVER DO SOMETHING RECKLESS LIKE THAT AGAIN! You had us worried!
Valmiro: Ow! But mother, I simply wanted to repay my depth to these adventurers...
Kaseem: We weren’t just going to sit by and let this thing ravage our Caravan!
Tulio: And that was great, and we’re very proud of you boys, but PLEASE...PLEASE do not charge out like that again! At least not without proper equipment...
Valmiro: Y-Yes, Father!
Tulio: But none the less! We all live another day! And our little sister and her friends have turned the beast to ashes! This calls for a celebration, my family...And you all know the best kind of Celebration for something like this!
Rosalita: yes! Let us celebrate! *Pulls out her tambourine!*
*the Caravaneers all begin to grab instruments, set up a fire, and once again begin to dance, play music and drink around the fire!*
Akimoto: Hehe...You guys never miss a chance to perform, huh?
Tulio: Hahahahaha! You should know this by now, Sir Akimoto! This is how we always celebrate!
Akimoto: Right! Of Course! *Takes a swig from his water Canteen!*
*Fiona wipes away the last of the tears, immediately jumping to her feet with her tambourine, happily joining the Sisters and the boys around the bonfire with a smile!*
Sarisa: Ehehehe! *Pulls on Akimoto’s left arm!* come and dance with me, Sir Akimoto!
Akimoto: *!* W-What?! No! I-
Fareeha: No! No! Dance with me! *Pulling his right arm!* Come celebrate with us!
Akimoto: Argh! Let go of me, Dammit! I told you both i’m not interested!
Tulio: Girls! Girls! Enough! Sir Akimoto is fine where he is! Just go enjoy yourselves.
Sarisa: Aaaw! Arlight, father...
Vayle: Hm...*Finishes repairing the tear in her skirt, stands up with a smile!* Well, then...*Raises out her hand!* Would you consider dancing with me, instead?
Akimoto: *!* Dance with you?
Vayle: I know a few moves myself, you know! I performed with a group to show off my caravaneer line once...Come on...*wink!* just give it a try, Akimoto...
Akimoto: *Sigh*....*Looks up with a grin* Alright...Why not? *Takes her hand, following her out to the bonfire!*
Sarisa: aw man, I’m so jealous. Lady Vayle’s so charismatic...
Fareeha: Hehe...Oh well! At least he’s actually out dancing with someone...
Tulio: Hahahaha! Sorry girls! Looks like you’ll need to flirt with another young knight in our travels...*Takes a drink!* *Phew*...It is clear Sir Akimoto has his sights already set on somebody...*Stares at him and Vayle with a smile!*
*Akimoto Dances with Vayle, a visible smile on his face as Vayle twirls and takes his hand multiple times as they dance around the fire. Fiona dancing with the sisters and the brothers as they all take eachothers hands, twirl around the fire and occasionally show off with a few tricks! The celebration continues for about an hour or two before the Caravaneers tire down and get some sleep...As morning rises, another ill omen approaches the caravan*
Akimoto: *Phew*...You got some good pancakes, Hilde! You might even compete with my Grandfather’s recipe!
Hilde: Ha! Whoever this Grandpa of yours is, I’ll gladly beat whatever recipe he’s got in the kitchen!
Tulio: Now, Now! Settle down, Mother. Save that energy for the journey to Port Blackheart...We’ve got sailors and fishermen waiting to hear our song!
Akimoto: Trust me, Lady...My Gramps isn’t exactly someone you want to challenge...
Hilde: Ha! There ain’t no one in this land who cooks a better breakfast than I do! I don’t care if he is a war Veteran! I’ll still beat em in the kitchen!
Akimoto: Huh...Alright. But trust me! You guys are gonna regret it.Your not gonna like challenging him.
Miguel: Hmmmm...I Think that’d be the least of our worries right now...*Points as two Despoire Soldiers approach the Caravan*
Akimoto: *!* Oh Great...what now?
Despoire Soldier: *Despoire Salute!* Luminous Stars Caravan and the party of Akimoto Infernus! You have both been summoned by the Republic council and are asked to present yourselves to them at your earliest convenience!
Fiona: The Council wants to see us? What’s this about?
Despoire Soldier 2: It is a matter regarding the Chimera that attacked your group yesterday! It was an attacked provoked by the high chancellor’s son, Lord Severus Braxton. The council would like to hear your side of this situation...The privilege of entering the Capital is something we usually do not grant caravaneers...However, the Council is willing to make an exception for the Luminous Stars for the time being...
Vayle: *!!!* SEVERUS SENT THAT BEAST?!
Akimoto: Uuuugh...of COURSE he did...
Fiona: *Grits teeth, fists clenched* Ooooh...That...That JERK!
Despoire Soldier: Please make your way to the Capital at your earliest convenience! the Soldiers have been ordered to allow you all through! *Gives one more salute, then the two soldiers begin marching back on the trail!*
Vayle: Grrrr...That little BASTARD! I knew something wasn’t right about that attack...
Tulio: To think that beast was sent by a member of the Braxton Family...UNFORGIVABLE! Come! We shall go to the capital immediately! We WILL have justice for this!
Akimoto: we ALL will! and that brat’s gonna answer for this! don’t you worry!
Fiona: Let’s go to the capital! I want to deal with him personally...
Arcana: (Oooooh, I like the sound of that...Hmhmhmhmhm...)
To be continued in part 6!

1.8 信仰
The east dawn, the sun flooded the square in front of the ziggurat, the Will was holding a grand new king enthroned. The square was full of people and spread to the surrounding streets. They looked solemn and stared at the ziggurat. The high-ranking slaves around all looked down at their toes. If anyone dared to look up or steal a glance, they would be beheaded for blasphemy.
High priest Flam was leading them to pray to God Willier. The scene was extremely quiet, but Flam felt a little nervous. He hasn’t received the oracle for many days, and he hasn’t had it since Gilgamesh’s departure. This kind of disconnection has happened before, but the difference was that this time the statue has undergone a subtle change. He could no longer feel the “light” on the statue, “Is my cultivation regressing?” He suspected.
According to the previous plan, the candidate crown should have long been appointed as the new king, but Willier God did not reply for a long time. The country cannot be without a king, he thought. Act as planned for the time being, if God Willler is dissatisfied with the new king, he can issue an oracle to abolish him.
After the prayer, Flam stood on a high platform and said loudly to everyone, “The old king Gilgamesh is dead, today the new king will succeed him and continue to take over the will of Willier God.”
A man in a robe knelt towards the statue, and Flam stood between him and it. Flam held his staff and hit the man’s left shoulder hard and said loudly, “Don't be afraid of hardships and dangers, have the courage to make dedication, can you sustain it?” The sound was spread to everyone’s ears by mana.
“I can!” The man said loudly.
Flam slammed staff on his right shoulder again, “Diligence and love for the people, fairness and justice, can you sustain it?”
“I can!” The sound was almost roaring from the high platform.
Flam hit the man on the head with staff, then turned sideways to let the statue behind him, crossed his hands on his chest and knelt down towards the statue, “ Serve the lord loyally, unswervingly till death, can you sustain it?”
“Noway!” before the new king could answer, a voice came from the crowd on the street. Although the tone was not high, it was crisp and neat, and it was very ear-piercing in such a quiet environment.
Everyone was shocked, and at the same time focused on the source of the sound, even the slave who bowed his head couldn’t help but want to take a peek.
A man dressed in leather and a battle axe on his back, strutted towards the ziggurat——It’s Gilgamesh.
The city people around him were surprised and happy, puzzled in their hearts, and subconsciously gave up a way.
“Willier is despicable and shameless. He avenged his benefactor, deceive the people and steal fame, a beast in human clothing, and still being a god?” Gilgamesh said as he went up the steps, his eyes fixed on the Flam.
The soldiers around didn’t stop him, after all, his prestige in the army was very high.
The crowd began to whisper.
Flam squinted his eyes and saw that it was Gilgamesh, and he was also suspicious. But he looked calm, looked down proudly and said, “How dare you blaspheme!”
“I didn’t blaspheme him, I‘m going to kill him.” Gilgamesh said coldly.
Everyone was horrified, with incredible expressions on their faces.
Gilgamesh took the scroll from his arms and threw it at Flam. “The map back to you!”
Flam’s expression changed suddenly and he ordered the new king beside him, “Kill him quickly, I‘ll enchant you!”
The new king drew the sword from the guard next to him and ran towards Gilgamesh. Under Flam’s enchantment, he felt as light as a swallow, his speed and strength were several times higher than before. He jumped up full of confidence and swung his sword towards Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh stared at Flam intently. When the new king came close to him, he dodged the blade slightly on his side. Before the new king landed, he exerted force with his right foot and hit with his left shoulder, knocking the new king off the stage.
All this happened extremely fast. It seemed to everyone in the square that the new king quickly rushed down the steps and then jumped down from the side, just landed his head first.
“wimp!” Flam thought. Even with the magic, Flam can’t let him fly back to the stage.
Just listen to Gilgamesh’s vicious words, “You really know the truth, more than 1,200 blood debts, let’s take your life to pay it.” He rushed to the stage, raised the battle axe, and slashed towards Flam.
Flam’s eyes were full of contempt, and his figure disappeared when the axe blade was about to touch the top of his head.
“Stupid, how could you hurt me, you and I are not on the same level at all, you have not understood what space is.” The voice came from behind Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh didn’t answer, didn’t turn his head, hit the ground on his toes, and bounced back.
Flam teleported to the side like a matador playing with a bull. Always unable to reach Flam’s body.
Gilgamesh suddenly turned around and threw a vine with his left hand and put it on Flam’s wrist.
The vine was not thick but extremely tough. The point was that Flam suddenly found that he could not perform any magical skills!
Although Flam realm is high, compared with Gilgamesh in physical skills, it’s like the difference between cloud and mud.
Gilgamesh exerted force under his feet and shook his left arm forcefully. Flam was swung onto the stone statue.
Flam had a sharp pain in his back that shook him out of breath, but the feeling did not last long. With a flash of silver light, his neck and the statue behind him were cut off.
Under the gaze of everyone’s eyes, the statue was broken in two, and accompanied by the blood spurted from the body that lost its head, it crashed down.
Flam’s head rolled down onto the square, with an expression of unbelievable horror on his face.
Gilgamesh stood on the high platform, looked around and shouted at the people, “Anyone who believes in Willier or prays to him will end up with such a scum.”
The people was solitary, only the loss of God was out of the wits. Although everyone was shining in the sun, they felt bitterly cold, as if their bodies had fallen along with the statue, and the scene was silent, lest they would be punished by Willier God.
Then, the golden light in the ziggurat flickered, dazzling brilliance, and a woman floated out from it, like a blue cloud covering the sun, falling on the platform and walking towards Gilgamesh.
She was dressed in a light blue dress, has a graceful figure, with rippling shirts, her black hair scattered on her white shoulders, a gold armband on her right arm and a lapis lazuli bracelet on her wrist, peaceful and mild steps. She was so beautiful and radiant. Everyone felt the warm spring breeze blowing in their hearts.
Gilgamesh was confronted a formidable enemy. Because the woman’s appearance was exactly the same as the god in the ziggurat of the City-Inana that he conquered some time ago.
She walked closer with a smile, laughed like a silver bell, glance at the vine on his hand, and said " The stray lamb, you really surprise me! How to use such a common Magic Tools to kill high-level mage, so good capability! I guess he never dreamed that he would die so egg!”
Gilgamesh didn’t know what she want, without a word, he just looked at her coldly.
Then she said softly “I’m the Goddess Istar, convert to me, pray to me, deify me as the god of Will, I can fulfill all your wishes.” The tone was sacred and solemn.
“scram!”
Istar’s face was frosty, “ I kill you as easily as crushing an ant!”
“Then what are you waiting for! Come on!”
The conversation between them was blocked by Istar mana, and everyone didn’t hear.
“I have a question, since you were born, who raised you, counseled you, and who protected you, taught you, and made you king? God Willier esteemed you so much and gives you glory, how can you be without him? And you blasphemed him! Who avenged benefactor? Who was inferior to a beast?” Istar returned to the sacred and solemn tone she had just now. Although his tone was not high, it reached everyone’s ears.
The square started to be noisy.
“He betrayed his race because of his own selfish desire to become a god, and because of his own advantage, thousands of people died.” Gilgamesh said through gritted teeth.
“Well, why was the army of more than a thousand people wiped out, but only you can come back?” Istar challenged.
Someone in the square suddenly realized, as if they knew something, and immediately whispered to others.
At this time, Gilgamesh had been unable to send Divine-mind, unable to pass on the situation at that time to anyone. Even if he can, they are difficult to believe that the god they believe in is so evil.
“You shrew, a lot of nonsense, talebearing, are you Willier’s concubine….”
Before he finished speaking, Istar raised her right hand to the Gilgamesh, and a golden light burst out. Gilgamesh blocked with a side axe, and the surging mana instantly knocked him into the air. He was like a stone on a trebuchet, thrown out of the city, the scene was very embarrassing.
For a moment, everyone was stricken dumb with astonishment.
