The worst part about playing rdr2 again is knowing who's going to die, how they're going to die, when they're going to die, and not be able to do a single thing about it

Fake Voyager Episode: Tuvok gets kidnapped and forced to compete in an arena where telepaths fight one another to the death for a shot at fortune and prestige. He was initially kidnapped as 'fodder' - the aliens who run the arena will grab any telepathic alien they can find regardless of skill and they're essentially just there to be killed by flashier veterans of the bloodsport. The episode is mainly Tuvok showing off his tactical know-how and combat skills. We also get several flashbacks to him as a young man, learning how to fight both on Vulcan and in Starfleet. There's a concern that he will lose himself when forced into this seemingly endless battle, surrounded by violence, but in the end he prevails and manages to escape without killing a single person. He leaves the arena after giving a message of peace. Patreon | Ko-fi
Unnamed Goon: [Laughter] That puny 'Vuulcan' didn't land a single hit for all his bluster. Once I sealed his telepathic powers it was over! Huh huh huh… If I keep up this pace I should have him crushed beneath my fists in- What...? I can't move...? Tuvok: By now you have surely noticed it.
You are certainly a formidable opponent. Most would assume you to be a simple bruiser but that is not the case. You are a knowledgeable telepath - able to not only bolster your own physique but nullify the telepathic capabilities of your enemies.
However. You rely too much on one tactic and are too proud to allow yourself to look 'weak.' This was the ultimate cause of your ruination. While you gleefully battered my body about the field I was able to locate twenty two out of twenty four 'kobat sfek' on your body - points which will render you immobile for approximately…four minutes. More than enough time. It was a shrewd precaution to nullify my telepathic ability. However. I do not need them to best you in combat.
Even now, I am ten times stronger than you. Unnamed Goon: T-Ten...TEN TIMES!? [Imagining the sort of gruesome end that might await him, the unnamed Goon faints - leaving Tuvok the victor.]

thinking about the fact that elq seems less confident in english than in spanish, and how most of his arguments in the debate sounded word for word like things qq has said before thinking about how his closing statement sounded much more calm and slow like elq and how it was the most convincing part of his performance in the debate thinking about how after the debate he basically stopped talking (and therefore no longer had to speak english)

headcanon that Regulus can’t deal with long silences when he’s around people he’s comfortable/ fells safe with, even if it’s comfortable silence. He always has to fill it somehow.
i love the headcanon that he just has a box of horrific facts in his brain somewhere so these silences would be a perfect time to use them.
or, he just leaves and goes and does smth hoping when he gets back he’ll have either thought of smth to talk about or the silence will be over and they can continue as normal.

do you think the fact that its never stated that anthea and concordia's last names are "harmonia gropius" like it is for n and ghetsis is intentional. like it may just be because they're severely underutilized, but n and ghetsis had their names specifically stated in the directors columns and a fan meeting respectively.
n mentions he was given the name harmonia, did ghetsis withold that name from anthea and concordia on purpose? if he did, why? he'd still need them to trust him, so they'd keep raising n in his place. not sharing that name is maybe an effort to distance himself, maybe he only cared about n having that level of trust with him?

Kazumaji really is real because it’s said and shown that Majima is the chatterbox that never stops especially when uncomfortable and Kiryu, who is said and shown to be sparse with his words, never comments on it

I think today is the first time I've ever been told that I've tried really hard to advocate for myself. I'm very anxious and sometimes I can't speak (which may be related to my autism? not sure), so I always feel like part of the reason people treat me the way they often do is because I don't advocate for myself properly or "enough".
But my therapist told me today that he thinks it sounds like I've tried really hard and in proper ways too. I'm just dealing with lowkey shitty people. (He didn't say the last part but I think its true and also his face is kind of expressive so I don't think he'd disagree.)
I've never heard that before though and it feels good? to hear? Part of me knows that even if I was the world's shittiest self-advocate, I wouldn't deserve any of this but hearing that I'm not is still reassuring in a way I didn't know I needed. I'm not absurdly bad at telling people what I need or setting boundaries; people just aren't listening to me.

edgeworth-maya friendship is the best thing that never actually happened in the series. but they are. to me. intergenerational different as night and day very weird little besties.
I want her to talk him into watching a steel samurai marathon together. it sends edgeworth into a complete conflict of “specific forms of socialising are difficult at the best of times, let alone solely with one of wright’s young peers” and “oh, I REALLY want to watch and talk about this subject I deeply enjoy with someone”. maya knows this. she knows she’s making a good offer, she’s got him in her grasp. she’s enjoying that a little, too. but mostly she just wants to watch steel samurai.
