filled this out the other day for these two cause idk felt like it. I referred to them as just friends with benefits but theyre in a weird spot where they might actually be dating but no ones sure not even them. heres a few links from my bookmarks folder full of HTML and CSS resources that i used when first making my neocities website because i want other people to make their own sites as well because its fun :)
how to actually do html and css
web design in 4 minutes - this is the site that really made HTML and CSS click for me, following along as the author describes what’s he’s doing to the webpage and showing how it changes the presentation (you don’t need the book he shills at the end. i did without)
w3schools introduction to html - takes you through the very basics of creating a website, lesson-by-lesson. big goldmine for code to grab and scaffold off of once you have some basic skills
mozilla’s html guide - also a great beginner’s guide by the people who made mozilla, although i didnt use it as much as w3 schools
brackets.io - this is the program i use to write the files i use for my website. lets you do splitscreen to work with two files at once, gives you a breakdown of all the files in your website’s folder, and will let you autofill commonly-used tags and files in the code. supposedly has a live preview function but it doesnt work that well for me when i’m using a second monitor, which i normally do when coding. just save the file and refresh the page instead.
(side note: i work in a software external to neocities instead of directly in the neocities editor because 1. local files update with a refresh and neocities has to update the cookies AND download all the website info again once you update, and 2. it effectively gives you a mass undo button if you fuck up because you have your files hosted in multiple places (local and online). yes its kinda annoying to have to manually upload all my files especially bc you cant upload whole folders AND you cant move their locations once uploaded but i prefer it to working directly on the site. if you have a neocities pro subscription ($5/month) you can mount your website directly on your machine as opposed to the neocities dashboard, which basically means you dont have to manually upload the code every time you change something -- it’ll update automatically)
codepen - if you prefer something browser-based to work in then try codepen, i used it a little bit at the beginning when trying to troubleshoot some code i didn’t quite understand. you need an account to actually save your work and im not sure if it actually lets you upload folders bc i never signed up lol
premade engines/sites/themes/etc etc
neothemes or eggramen or templaterr - if you wanna get a quick start on a neocities site, you CAN use a theme generator/premade theme. if you go this route i would still heavily recommend trying to learn HTML and CSS, and then go into the guts of your own website to try and pick it apart and change it to your liking
zonelets - a static blogging engine that uses HTML, CSS, and javascript. made for use on neocities but theoretically useable elsewhere. takes about 15 minutes to set up (if you use a default theme, but its pretty customizable if you know what you’re doing) and requires you to 1. write blog posts in html and 2. modify some code in a script file every time you want to upload a post, but it will automatically let you browse posts in order once you get everything uploaded
rarebit - a neocities webcomic template — havent used it yet but looks cool, and seems to operate off of the same principles as zonelets.
glightbox - this is the lightbox javascript code i use when i want to display a lot of images on one page. i found this code via clicking “inspect element” on a neocities fanpage that the webmaster drew a lot of fanart for. you should click inspect element on neocities pages that you like so you can understand how they do what you like (you can even look at their css by clicking the style.css link you have to include at the top of your page)

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER SEASON 2 EPISODE 19 I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU EPISODE OF ALL TIME!!!!!
for real this ep is up there among my whole show favourites because of how directly it engages with buffy's self-blame over angel losing his soul through, of all things, the medium of genderswapping ghost possession. this is gonna get Long just to warn you
the way this episode is set up is so so so genius. they could've made it a very simple story about an evil abuser and an innocent victim, but instead they recognised that the situation demanded more than that. real life rarely follows a simple story, and it can often be hard to recognise a relationship for what it is when it doesnt fit that template. buffy finds it very hard to think of herself as a victim, and she blames herself for "killing" the angel that she loved and turning him into the monster he is now, which is why she hates the ghost of this boy as much she does - she fears that she has done something worse than just murder her lover. she could have all her friends and family tell her this wasnt her fault and i dont think she would fully believe them, but through the possession she is told that if it was her fault, if she did kill angel, she would be loved and forgiven anyway.
the role that gender plays in this episode is Crucial. despite setting out to subvert the horror movie blonde cheerleader victim trope, btvs often falls into a pattern of men as monsters and women as victims. in this world, no male character is exempt from seeing women sexually, even gay characters like larry and andrew perform misogynistic sexual degradation of women that's played for laughs. it's just "how all men are". conversely, as evil as women can be on btvs, their sexual violence against men is never taken seriously (see all the times xander is assaulted that just never get addressed). this episode complicates the binary of men as monsters and women as victims as part of its overall complication of these roles by having the final possession play out the way it does. angel, the "man" who is textually a monster, becomes a woman who was a victim of a crime of passion, while still remaining the older person who got into a relationship with a teenager despite knowing it was wrong. buffy, the innocent young girl, becomes an angry murderous boy, while still remaining an emotional teenager making rash choices in the name of love. the disruption of these concrete ideas of monster and victim (and their gendered natures within the show) allows buffy to realise she needs to forgive herself.
obviously this whole plot is doing fascinating things with gender, but the ending stands out to me specifically because of how angel reacts. textually he feels disturbed by the reminder of his humanity and feels the need to go out and do evil vampire things to feel affirmed in his monstrosity, but i also think its interesting how buffy, who often feels robbed of her sense of girlhood by her role as the slayer, isn't perturbed at all by briefly becoming a man. the subversion of gender roles was central in their relationship prior to him losing his soul, with buffy being the strong capable hero, and angel her damsel in distress -- buffy has for the most part reconciled with the perceived masculinity of her strength and doesnt feel that it makes her any less of a girl. angel, on the other hand, who has now had to take on a more masculine role as patriarch of the vampire family (in darla's absence) is freaking out not just because of the reminder of humanity but bc he was briefly literally buffy's girl -- something he wants more than he can let on, soul or no.

Sometimes a chicken isnt a good fit for being a house chicken! It really depends on the bird. This is about a Polish named Karen who i rehomed quite quickly after acquiring her. Rehoming is sometimes a taboo subject in some places but really that decision is almost always made with the animals best interest at heart and that also goes for this bird below. So if your someone who may need to rehome breeding birds (or perhaps a pet when circumstances change) maybe this positive story can ease some anxiety and give you a good template for how it should go.
Karen came to me in 2019 to retire here as a house chicken since she had slowed down laying for her breeder and he no longer wanted Polish. She was a good hen to him and he wanted her to go somewhere where she would be pampered and taken care of so she went to me especially since at the time my silkie (also from the same breeder) wasnt integrating with my other birds. I wanted to get him a familiar friend so Karen was the best option.
Despite being raised as a confined bird who was raised in a building Karen was very stressed living in the house. She would stay very still in one place or she would constantly make very upset noises that were very loud and sounded like a kookaburra. The other birds accepted her gladly but she was uncomfortable around them and did not adjust well to a house chicken lifestyle.
I knew she wasnt enjoying what was supposed to be her peaceful retirement so i reached out to a friend who has a very well taken care of flock and arranged for him to take her in. This person had bought birds from me before and was very kind and gentle. They were known for taking in special needs birds and didnt mind older laying hens so when he saw her he was very happy about taking her in. I really like this family as they spoil their birds and have a lot of outdoor space for their free ranging flock
At her new place Karen was very nervous at first since not only had she been moved twice but i also gave her a "haircut" so she could see better which could be quite different then her typical obscured vision. Eventually though she warmed up to her new place and now she is high in the pecking order and going on 8-9 years now which is an old age for a Polish. She likes to boss everyone around and loves to complain when the weather doesnt suit her which delights and amuses her owners. To this day Karen is a happy girl who is enjoying her perfect retirement and is a great example on how rehoming can be the best decision for a bird.
Below you can see her upset protests that were much louder in person and very grating on the ears
When she got to her new home she followed their dog around for a bit and even came inside
She even got to learn the "joys" of being rained on (she did not enjoy it and as you can see she went indoors lol)
Eventually she established herself and is a very happy
And when i rehomed Nebby and Baby bird i knew who would be the perfect home for them and Karen welcomed them gladly <3 I am so thankful Karen welcomed them so kindly as chickens can be quite mean to new flock members.

can i just say that i love how relatable your ginny is? in many stories ginny is perfect and harry is messed up, but in this they are both a hot mess. and what i love is how you do a great job of portraying ginny’s mindset in a way that not only shows that she blames harry, but also makes the audience blame him. but if you really think about it, she’s just as much the reason if not more that they’re so messed up. not saying harry’s not a complete wreck 24/7, because he definitely is, but our girl’s got trust issues, understandably so cough cough childhood trauma, and she’s all HARRY RUINED EVERYTHING HE DOESNT LET ME IN WHY IS HE LIKE THIS meanwhile this beautiful badass emotional trainwreck of a human is actually blocking him out even more then he’s blocking her and she’s creating problems in her head and making everything way worse for their situation. like harry’s got issues but he’s over being sad and is ready to snog the living fuck out of her and hold her and protect her and be there for her and she’s like why must he be so closed off and push me away and be unwilling to try meanwhile she gets angry every time he so much as breathes and avoids him at all costs but also loves him but has convinced herself it’s all 100% his fault and then gets pissed that she has feelings for him and tells herself more reasons why he sucks. self sabotage at its finest.

when i first set out to start the path from you, i knew the story i wanted to tell, but i knew it had to be a long evolution of both their internal thoughts and their views of each other. because we can make inferences and interpretations of their deepest, most intrinsic thoughts from the source material, but it's really fun for me to ask how does that change after trauma..?
and i knew (I KNEW) i wanted them both to be the most unreliable narrators imaginable. because that's how we think right?? or at least that's how i think, i can't speak for everyone else i suppose, but we rationalize and try to put puzzle pieces together that don't actually fit. and if you look close enough, ginny is such a PERFECT template for this kind of storytelling because she is so strong willed. she is open and emotionally mature with most everyone, except herself?? now a lot of this is me filling in the blanks between CoS and OoTP/HBP but i mean how does a girl spend an entire school year possessed and then just casually go on to be the most well-adjusted, well-liked, social butterfly?
she suppresses. she suppresses HARD.
and with that habit of suppress and overcome, all the sudden she is falling in love? and providing emotional support and a delightful sort of stability to a person who has never felt that in his entire life.
so i ran with it! i sat down and wrote out pages and pages of what ginny thought of harry, and what harry thought of ginny, and how ginny thought harry saw her, and how harry thought ginny saw him... and its the second half of those questions that gets *really* interesting.
how does ginny think harry sees her? how does ginny react when she thinks she can't be that ever again? what happens when suppress and overcome doesn't work anymore? what is she going to do when harry actually decides to open up about something for the first time in his life?
ginny has created this narrative in her head that blames harry and absolves her of guilt because the alternative would be admitting that she has kept him as far away from her as possible because if he saw her (the real her, after all the shit) then she thinks he wouldn't want her anymore. and that is just too devastating for her to even contemplate so she doesn't bother, and she goes along heightening all harry's mistakes in an effort to dampen her own.
and let me tell you... once harry looks outward and stops focusing so much on his own internal war when it comes to his feelings for ginny, he starts getting real tired of it.

A while ago I did sketch some ideas for a mutant Rando but he's so hard to make designs for since I love his design how it is. Changing it while keeping Rando Vibes is the toughest thing. But here are those sketches:
I really like the idea of him being HUGE and gentle but prone to emotional outbursts. The main thing was figuring out if I should keep the mask on him or show his face. This got me thinking tho and I just whipped up a new design sketch that mixes both his face and the skull mask design:
He isn't nearly as big and he still looks off to me, but it's just a brain vomit idea :p

Yo I'm sorry to rant in you ask, but all this weverse crusade makes me angry..
It's hella counterproductive because spamming about the issues very much frustrates people and infantilize fans AND idols who probably already know all this horror.
Also it's not like anyone will address the issue (we know kpop)... and it seems so third world problem compared to journalists and children being murdered, libraries being bombed etc... if people really want to act, they should call their representatives or donate to humanitarian funds instead...

I wonder if part of it is landscape of media at the times, because I don't recall this being the issue when 2011 rolled around and a whole new audience was introduced via the show. It very much was a fun time of analyzing the story as something more meaningful then gritty fantasy.
But then the show got worse over time and around season 5 and 6 there was a shift in perspective. Because it did become more about the killing and unexpected deaths as the focus, and people then took that lens and put it on the books. So they're looking at the books with a lens of a story telling method that isnt there.
But because it's also so popular it means these people all look at their own stories to tell and use that mistaken lens of dark and gritty as their focal point when it is not about the death. Neds death wasnt there to be shocking and author kill happy because SO many moving parts had to come together and lead up to it.
But people were shocked by it, and that mistaken their shock as authorial intent and it has started a chain reaction of souring story telling as gritty sells. When it doesnt. GoT only did well when it had thr heart of the story in mind, as soon as it became about the death around season 5 did notably was not the cultural phenomenon it once was and nothing thing to mimic that grit has succeeded like early GoT.
If you read agot and then adwd youd be like "are these even the same story?" Because so much of that world was meaningfully filled out in between. Robbs death wasnt memorable because it was shock value, it was memorable because if EVERYTHING that led up to the character he had grown to be and the tragedy of having it taken away.
I think part of it is just really, general audiences only took away the violence and shock value and mistakenly decided that has always been the intent. When asoiaf and even early seasons GoT were using death and violence as a tool to tell a greater story, not to be the story itself. But that became the popular take away of the series and people both use it to wrongly judge asoiaf and also use it as a template for their own stories when that takeaway is entierly incorrect.
I think you're right and the dividing line you have noticed is right where D&D lost interest in adapting the books after they finished A Storm of Swords. There was still a great deal of misreading of the series before that, but they went completely off-book after that point and the series became exactly what I'm complaining about: feeding characters into a meatgrinder for shock twists!!! and not to serve the narrative, and not progressing character development past the point it reached in ASOS. Just repeating the same beats after that. Lack of follow-through on consequences of anything, like Cersei can just blow up the Vatican with the president and vice president inside it and there's no fallout. Everyone reverts to roughly where they were at in Book 2 having learned nothing. Big setpieces that wrap up in ways that are visually dramatic but make no thematic sense (I'm still mad about Arya killing the Night King, wtf was that). Etc.
I think it's entirely possible to misread the books this way all on one's own -- just visit reddit -- so I wouldn't blame it all on show-onlies. But the TV adaptation did not help, absolutely.
edit to add: I very much remember the "evil santa" and "GRRM loves death" memes in the early years of the show, though. I don't think that was new, it just got worse.
#I'd be really interested to see which creators were book fans and took this approach. otherwise it's hard to tease apart#but take for example The Walking Dead which very much uses this Anyone Can Die template until you've just pulverized the audience#but it didn't start out that way! it turned into that on a timeline that directly mirrors GOT I'd argue and that's when it got popular#even Saga (a great comics series) relies on this too much#death is not the only way to progress your story!!!!!! come on

holaaaa welcome to my closeeet
its 5 am this thing probably has misspelling on my own fucking language BUT felt like i put my thoughts a bit in order. the template looks HIDEOUS but i had to make this with my eyes half open. english translation:
Pyke -> Wants to study marine byology. Both studies and works so he can pay the apartment hes staying over since his parents kicked him out of the house (he doesnt really talk a lot about it). He has a little fish in a roundy fishtank :) he loves it very much
Illaoi -> Wants to study to become a physical trainer. Lives with her single mom, they are slay queens. Wants to become a physical trainer only for women to support and create a safe community for them. She has no pets but shares same interest as Pyke in ocean creatures.
Braum -> Wants to study nursing. He lives in a student's apartment with roomies, he cooks for everyone, hes a blorbo. In this AU probably poros could be translated to hamsters...? He has a big, roundy white hamster, very cute.
Sarah Fortune -> Incredibly, politics as canon (edit: said just because Sarah wants to achieve the ruler of Bilgewater position in Ruined King, if she doesnt go into politics in this au shes probably going to study to become a social worker). Probably spends her life in students residence since her mom was killed, at least until she is able to move out with Illaoi. She cant have animals in the residence but she probably would love to have a bird, a parrot / nymph / cockatoo / etc.
Ahri -> Wants to study psycology. She lives in an apartment she inherited like a rich girlie, but she doesnt speak about her family that much, but she spends quite a lot of time in Yasuo's house. She owns a pomeranian... it just makes sense. She walks the dog with the group members and the dog always gets ton of pets. Cute little thing.
Yasuo -> Orchestral musician. He lives with her divorced mother, she obligated him to enter the conservatory and he ended up liking it. His mom doesnt let him have any pets, but he has a lot of attatchment to Ahri's dog. Their fifa dad and their hot cheeto mom.

A) Why are you excited about this character?
I love all my ocs so much,
Jamie makes me excited because I just really enjoy them as a character, theyre a vessel to explore darker thoughts and mental health aspects, while also just being fun and silly and overall a joy to play around with. I absolutely love drawing them and designing fun outfits for them, and thinkin up both the joyful and horrific scenarios I put them in.
Alex makes me excited becase he's really fun to do stuff with. Theres a lot of projection aspects on him, as well as things I'd just Like to explore. Having a character who can just be Blunt and Angry means a lot to me, and I enjoy writing him in situations. He's also just.... nice, themes wise. A guy who's been through a lot, but still stands to break the cycle. who still manages to be caring, despite it all.....
Josephine is, again, a character I just really enjoy. The exploration of the complexities of grief is, well, important to me. Loss is a constant in life, something while not exact, a feature ive had to deal with. the themes of grief and moving on, and the struggle with that, is something that really gets me thinkin. I also just enjoy doing the sciency stuff with josie, its so fun to have a character who geniuenly enjoys stem and engineering in general, and josie is just so fun to play with. i love my mad scientist girl so much <3
I get excited with Aurora for The Violence. she was created with the intent to be powerful and bloody, and boy howdy, does she live up to that. A character who doesnt care about (most) others and is just purely a plot device can be SO fun.... but also rory is a lot more complicated then that! and i get really excited whenever that topic is broached (see: people encouraging me during the reflecion talk) she's a character with a whole lot more issues:tm: then just a base template villain.
aaaaaand this is long so ill just do quick summarys for the others
Gabriel: exploration of identity issues and what it means to be who you are
The housestaff trio: exploration of the working class in the victorian era and the complexity of below stairs
Inspector Lewis: making fun of cops is 10/10, always excited to do that

Rules: Make a couple characters (or just one! as many as you want/have time for) from your WIP. Use whatever Picrew suits the vibe best—just make sure to link it. Tag a couple people to do the same.
I used the same template Quo did. This one
im doing this for my murder most unladylike wip which is untitled at the moment , ACTUALLY DONE!!! (also like 4 months ago i forgot i did this) it is called spreading our ashes in the sun and you can check it out of ao3 by clicking on the title just here!
It features my favourite people - the cambridge crew! (specifically Harold and Bertie) [includes exam mental breakdown and tea]
now this fic takes place right after an exam and like in the 1930s (technically, I did my best) so theres not much room for fun costumes and such so ill be making two versions . 1 - as in how they appear in fic and 2- another version which is just how the characters mentally would dress (excluding stephen and alfred which only have the latter) (i have included analysis to go along with the picrews as well)
this is going to be long bc i like extracting meaning from the smallest things and like referencing my fic obvi so its under the cut!! also spoilers for the fic as well
Harold

Harold has not thought of changing his clothing since coming out of that exam, he is only clenching his teeth so hard it might explode which is why he is wearing a plain jumper over a shirt. the circular glasses are the most south asian thing ever (for me at least) , so thats a reference to that. he is very much trying very hard not to express his emotions, because he knows in the grand scheme of things it is only a "small issue" it doesnt really matter , the past is in the past and he should be done with it. but really he cannot stop thinking about it (shown through how there are stars in the background like explosions you can say but are faint). the white i think was also a reference to the "hot white breathe" of panic. green in regards to this references bile. he is somewhat disgusted with himself i think, and also haven't not eaten his stomach is not feeling great. the scars i think were references to his "night climbing" pasttime , but also in my notes i mention a doorway - who knows what that was about but.
feeling picrew
HE IS EXHAUSTED that is the crux. he is mentally lying on his bed , drifting and then crying into his pillow and curling into his blanket. i always imagine harold with frog-esque things becuase he is very cottage core to me (and also like part of the me thinks he really loves the creatures living in the bottom of the garden), (also gardening is a theme within the family ala my bad gardener george headcanon ,as those on the discord know) . but on another level it is also Harold trying to cling onto comfort, which he cannot get in the actual fic , because he is denying himself it. the scars on his face match up with the actual fic version , his hair is messier from mushing his face into a pillow and he is wearing a cardigan because i think of him as a knitter or that sort of craft aligned and when he is stressed he creates clothing (but thats technically not in this). there was additional purpose behind the sepia filter as well, that i cannot remember at the moment. but right now it reminds me of how harold feels somewhat like a faded photograph destined to a dusty cupboard past his prime (as i say in the additional tags it is much like the outro of olivia rodrigo's teenage dream - "they all say that it gets better/ it gets better the more you grow/ they all say it gets better/ it gets better but what if i dont?")
Bertie
fic picrew
Bertie here is trying to give a comforting smile at Harold, however his smile is wobbly, becuase he has also have other things on his mind (reeling from a letter from stephen, terrifed of hurting harold and on another level making him more upset (its bc of stephen) but also just being "urgently concerned" , bertie is full of multitudes). this is also referenced by the background in which according to my old notes before finishing this fic is a reference to now Bertie is also exploding with emotion , except with worry instead of panic.
with new eyes however , i think it also reflects how Bertie is also hiding his emotions as well (colour choice to me blends into the background more) because he is so focused on the task at hand, it is natural to him that his other emotions are set to the side in the background so to speak.
onto more miscellaneous details
-he has a scrape across the mouth from a childhood accident and has a cut across his cheek from his shared night climbing pastime. ---he also has sticky outy ears because i say so -he has the twinkle in his eyes because it is goddam Bertie Wells and he is full of charm and charisma, it is the same twinkle somewhat of the one that Felix, his uncle is reported to have. (he has been trying for years to have it , he has not noticed he kind of already does. nobody has told him)
another note: the green is bertie colour (because his "green trousers" and the blue harold but they have each others because they care for oneanother alot and are focusing on the others concern . harold feels like a very blue person to me (also besties)
feeling picrew
literally not much here other than a more visual manifestation of what he is actually feeling. background is darker bc he has also the holdover from being whipped up wiht emotion since reading the letter form stephen. brighter stars is a "fizzing like a rocket" reference
the moustache change is an oversight, but now i like to think that its a manifestation of how much he feels like hes aged since the events of arsenic for tea and his relationship with stephen (this is like literally pulling stuff out of nothing but like still). the heart breaking , kinda goes two ways: breaking for harold as shown in the fic and also somewhat breaking from stephens letter (also referenced through the picrew through the shooting stars on his shirt like their relationship which was actively not really healthy, and very quickly crashing and burnt through)
although that isnt explicitly shown throughout the fic i did want Bertie's inner turmoil to be an undercurrent throughout.
the pjama shirt according to my old notes has soemthing to do with how raw Bertie is feeling throughout the fic besides him just being worn
Stephen
Stephen is interesting, as although he's very much explicitly not in the fic he is very much guides Bertie's actions throughout. i honestly dont know why i decided to create him as a picrew as he isnt in the fic but i guess i wanted 4 picrews.
background is a grid bc mans in JAIL LIKE HE DESERVES.
hair is two coloured because i always thought stephen with black hair but the in the books hes got brown? so now hes got two coloured hair bc i wanted to pay homage to that.
stephen was always the type of person to be somewhat perpetually upset with Bertie or actually something or rather , and in Bertie's mind that is the image that is left of him, which is why he looks like hes sulking.
he's sweating because he actually does feel quite guilty and Bertie cannot find in himself a way to fully hold a grudge against him at least thats what it says in my old notes
now, i actually have no idea why he would be sweating maybe prison is hot
clothing - couldnt find prision clothes and wanted some sort of variation so orange on orange is what you get
Alfred
i have no notes post this point so we are in the vast deadlands now.
jacket literally just feels like a jacket alfred would wear in a modern au, same with the shirt also the eyebrow he would have a slit eyebrow
the heart i think is something to do with the fact that alfred actually really cares for harold (whether harold knows it or not)
only thing i truely remember is for the spotlight background its yellow because he's the one who goes "why the hell are you in the dark" and makes them turn on the light

3. (worst take you've ever seen): im sure these arent what you were looking for because theyre not actually affronts against nature theyre just affronts against me specifically, but i saw someone say amy would watch a lot of youtube poops and i literally havent slept soundly since. it made me so annoyed. no she fucking wouldnt???? its part of the whole thing where people who don't like how amy is in canon try and give her generic 12 year old traits without any actual consideration for whether those traits even suit her or not. its def not the worst take ive ever seen but its one that haunts me. another one that haunts me is someone saying surge would like illuminati hotties and i KNOOWWW that one just bugs me because i have a hyperspecific vision of what music surge likes but like be for fucking real. no she would not. she listens to music that makes her feel evil and like she could kill people.
11. (number of filtered fanon related words): 8, which i dont feel like is THAT much but since i have an immunity to the "i've seen this thing so much now i hate it on principle" i dont feel the need to filter stuff toooo often. except for one of them its all ships i dont like, specifically ones that lead to the worst mischaracterization
13. (worst blorbofication): its amy and silver. ive talked out it so fucking much so i wont go super into detail but it is absolutely amy and silver. ik a lot of people would say shadow and i think thats true to a Degree but the thing about shadow is that people tend to understand his general VIBE. he's the most frequent victim of getting his arm twisted so people can draw cutesy template ship art but like. outside of that. theres a general consensus about how his past impacts his current relationships and how he interacts with (MOST) people. might not be always perfect but it doesnt make me want to kill anyone. but with amy and silver people really do not even know where to begin. with amy, no one is pleased with the way she is in basically any canon so they make shit up about her then get mad when it isnt true. you all need to come to terms with the fact that amy is written poorly everywhere all the time. and with silver people have zero sense of middle ground. im actually WAAAY more annoyed by people making silver tough and ruthless and "SILVER MUGGED TAILS" than i am by people making them sweet and cutesy, though obv being too overkill with the Too Sweet Too Pure For This World is also annoying
