The night was young and the moon was full. We sat at the bar knees touching and eyes flirting. The air around us was static and I felt for her more and more with every intoxicating laugh. I was sweating in my tux from the dancing we did but her skin was cool to the touch. It made her stand out against the crowd and the scarlet dress didn’t help either. It hugged her curves in all the right places. She smiled everytime I would stare at anyone watching her. Male and female. My jealousy was in full on assault mode for this woman I’ve only known for 20 minutes but the feeling she gave me was as old as Adam and Eve. Couldn’t take my eyes off of her and when I did she was on my mind. She threatened me to leave but bated me to follow. She left 30 piece of sliver behind for out drinks and as I took the steps after her I could feel my chest go hollow. Maybe it was all the alcohol I had. As I closed the door behind us I catch a glimpse of a gorgeous girl in a red dress sitting at the bar talking to someone in a black suit. The three of us make eye contact and the guy frowns. That was the last night anyone ever saw me again.
