Hamato Family’s First Visit to the Hidden City
Story request by @rottmntrulesall. Hope you enjoy the story, bud! ^^
"C'mon, everyone! Hurry up!" Michelangelo's impatience was obvious in his excitement. He and his siblings were finally going to show their dad's relatives for the first time to the Hidden City for two reasons; one: to view the many wonders of the other world and two: to have a formal, proper meeting with Draxum's parents. The latter part had instilled some unease into the Hamato siblings, especially Saki who was wary about stepping foot into a mysterious world and was about to see for himself the father and mother of the "monster" who altered his younger brother many years ago.
"Are you sure this place is safe?" Hamato Kenji asked. Raphael glanced at his uncle, understanding his uncle's concerns. "We've been there a lot, Uncle Kenji! We did encounter a few dangers there before but other than that, the people there don't usually attack humans unless provoked." Raph assured his uncle.
"There are a lot of places to visit like the many resorts and spas if you want to have a massage and ooh, Señor Hueso's Run of the Mill Pizza where they make one of the best pizzas! I know the manager of that place, we're amigos~" Leonardo took the chance to quip in.
"I can't wait to see Grandpa Mons again! Wait till you guys meet him yourselves, he's the nicest, sweetest grandpa you'll ever meet! He's still as strong as he's gentle!" Mikey said happily.
"I wonder if Grandma Chemia has some wicked new inventions to show me!" Donatello exclaimed.
"This would be my first time seeing my grandparents, Arachne..." Ariadne whispered to her best friend, Arachne.
"You've never seen them before?" Her friend asked.
"Once when I was a baby... I haven't seen them for years." The yokai femme told Arachne.
"Alright, kids, you've shown us all that you're excited to bring us to visit the Hidden City, Mikey, can you open the portal now?" Splinter asked.
"Sure, Dad!" Mikey got to work quickly.
Draxum felt a tinge of anxiety inside himself. He could not recall the last time he visited his creators ever since he moved out of home to pursue his alchemy researching, away from his parents' constant arguments, half of which is about their preferred methods of raising him. It was a surprise how those two still manage to live under the same roof despite their obvious clashing personalities. He guessed that they tolerated each other just for his sake. His parents had never produced any more offspring after him and one of Arachne’s parents...
"Hey, are you okay, Dad?" A female voice asked him. Draxum jolted from his pondering to find that his daughter, Poison Ivy asking him out of concern. He just gave a small smile as he ran his clawed hands over her helmet. "Am fine, just thinking about your grandparents." He assured her. He marveled how Ivy much had grown from the last time he scientifically created her with his and Lou Jitsu's DNAs; she being so tiny as a developed newborn infant growing in a liquid chamber to a young lady around the boys' ages. From what he knew later on, Splinter raised her along with the Turtles. Ivy had lived her life at first as a normal human teenager until her yokai genes started appearing. The initial discovery of her origins did shake her world but over time, she had learnt to accept and use them to assist her brothers in their adventures. She was intelligent like Draxum and his mother with his father's gentle, mature nature as well as Splinter/Lou's sassiness. She loved to study on botany and coincidently, her powers involved using vines and summoning plant like monsters at will. She recently revealed her sexuality preference as a lesbian and had a girlfriend who is a fellow classmate and witch trainee/apprentice in disguise. Both her creators and siblings were happy for her. As of now, she was cradling her younger sister, Venus de Milo was giggling and squealing as April, Ariadne and Arachne cooed and tickled her belly.
The group watched Mikey draw a symbol on the wall at an alley. Once the symbol was drawn, an open portal revealed. The Hamato siblings' mouths went ajar, not believing what they just saw. "if you think that's mind blowing, you haven't seen nothing yet!" Mikey grinned. His three other brothers and the three girls each took hold of one of their Hamato uncles and aunts's hands. The moment they all jumped into that portal, they found themselves staring at a massive part of a what seemed to be a huge city. The sky above was unlike Earth's skies; instead it was orange with some brown. The architecture of the buildings there were monster shaped with some tall, castle like structures far away from the city. There were a lot of people of all shapes, sizes, colors and appearances walking, running, passing by each other, buying their needs or doing their usual business trades. The Turtle family allowed their Hamato relatives to take in their first view around them. Saki's eyes were bulging out of his sockets, he could not believe for his life what he was seeing. Anthropomorphic, mostly consisting of animal, everyday objects, monstrous and supernatural like individuals roamed every part of the streets around him, he felt as if he was having a strange dream that defied logic! Nori on the other hand, looked right and left, taking in interesting sights that captured her attention. Underneath a calm façade, Kenji was freaking out internally at the new, foreign view. Hiroki was squealing in delight similar to a child had just discovered a world made of toys and sweets. Her twin, Hikari was a bit calmer than his sister, feeling a thrill of danger running through his veins. Last but not least, the youngest Hamato sibling, Mei's stance looked poker face yet she looked around to see if there were any Gothic like people that she can interact with. The Turtles and the girls grinned, seeing the reactions of the others.
"What do you think? Surreal, huh?" They ask.
"Amazing.."
"Fascinating..."
"I can't believe what I'm seeing..."
"Someone please tell me that I'm dreaming..." Saki mumbled, still not believing.
"No, you're not," Draxum replied, going straight to the point with an indifferent expression. "May we please hurry to my parents' house, I bet they're waiting for our arrival..."
"Oh yeah!" Mikey clapped both his hands once. "Lead the way, Draxy!"
Draxum sighed as he took the lead of the group. Along the way, there were a few whispers around and behind Draxum coming from the city people but Splinter and Ivy took hold of both his hands and gave a comforting, assuring squeeze, making him feel better. Ariadne gave her uncle a comforting hand on to his shoulder. They were soon out of the main city square to a further distance into the woods. They had to climb up a hill for a while until they reached a big mansion residing there.
"We are here at last. My childhood home..." Draxum said, looking at the grassy, serene valley below, reminiscing the times where he as a little one ran galloping around the field, cartwheeling with glee among the flowers and his sire teaching him the basics on how to defend himself the predator way. Both father and son spend their days in the early years, sparring with each other...
"Draxum, my son!" The former alchemist warrior villain snapped out of his memories to find himself being engulfed into the arms of none other than his dear, loving old father, Monsrage who brought his only son into a crushing bear hug which knocked the wind out of his lungs. "How have you been, my little baby boy? It's rare that you visit us but it's so wonderful to see you bring your family along! How delightful!" the older yokai gushed, his bushy tail wagging with unlimited enthusiasm like an excited puppy. Monsrage was rather huge and muscular with perked up, pointy ears, silky straight black hair unchanged through time and a fairly long beard to match. Like Draxum before, he wore a battle mask. He had a significant dark upperlip. His body had different shades of blue just like his son, Draxum when he was armored. Monsrage's eyes were the same like Draxum's. His feet in particular, was a noticeable difference. Unlike his wife and son, his feet were shaped like a lion's paws, fitting for him coming from a predator species.
"Father, it's great to see you... but can you please let go now? I can't breathe..." Draxum choked out, being smothered by his sire's busty chest. Monsrage immediately loosened his grip, apologizing profusely while checking to see if he had accidently broken any of his son's bones. Draxum shook his head, smiling a little. His sire had never changed all these years, still a concerned worrywart. And he bet his mother had not either...
Chemia on the other hand, was greeting the rest of the visitors with feverish energy. She was a redhead with shades of pink for her skin colour and her ears, long and drooped. Her eyes had a little twinkle in them, a part of her eccentric personality and plump, red lips. Like her husband, she wore a mask. Donnie, April, Arachne and Ivy were given a whirlwind hug the moment they came in front of her. Monsrage went back to the mansion with his son to give the new visitors, the Hamatos, April, and Arachne a warm greeting as well as welcome his beloved grandchildren with his signature bear hug and proceed to pepper their faces with smooches which they were delighted to have especially Mikey, Ariadne, Ivy and Venus. Monsrage and Chemia ushered them all into their humble abode. The Hamatos were initially skeptical about meeting Draxum's family but they were soon warmed up to them. Later on, the mansion was filled with guffaws of laughter as Monsrage showed them all baby pictures of his son which embarrased the poor warrior scientist. Donnie, April and Ivy were treated to Grandma Chemia's latest creations. Monsrage himself had a blast, playing with Venus and sparring with the Turtles and the girls. Arachne was delighted to meet her grandparents as a young adolescent, telling them about her achievements, adventures and that her own parents are doing well. The Hamatos became comfortable talking with Draxum's parents over some snack delicacies. Overall, everyone had a wonderful time at the Hidden City.
I had fun writing this! Was tiring but oh so worth it.
The Hamato siblings (minus Lou/Splinter) and Venus de Milo belong to @rottmntrulesall while Ariadne and Arachne are the OCs of @mikeykawaii/@mikey-ho. Monsrage, Chemia and Poison Ivy along with the mention of the witch girlfriend belong to me, @mefiman. I hope you don’t mind me incorporating your girls into this story, @mikeykawaii but I’ve been dying to add them in, especially Ari meeting her grandparents! ^^

Teetlez in Highschool
Just some dabbles or headcanons on what I feel like the boys in April's school would be like,🤷🏿‍♀️ so let's start with one the leader Raph.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Human Raph is heavily inspired “Almguav” their blog is awesome so go check it out, I nearly died when I saw Raph have waves. Being Black myself with brothers I can tell you that brushing “with” the grain is a must. And now all I can think about is Raph going to the barber to have his lines shaped up and his fade on point.
Raph is often judged due to his size, and high school was not a pleasant experience at first. I also offer up for your consideration Raph having dimples. Once entering the hallway, students and teachers alike moved out of the way, his hulking figure taking up space in the already crowded hall.
6ft tall wearing a red during, black tank top, and red basketball shorts, his black Nike's squeaking against the clean floor. His face planted into his phone, trying to understand his class schedule. He could feel people staring, and it was a bit unsettlingly, especially since April said people wouldn't even notice new kids.
It was probably the scars showing on his now caramel-colored skin. His arms and hands had the most markings from years of punching stuff he shouldn't have. The rumor mill already at work on why the new kid look like he punched a truck a won.
And then it happens...some poor scrawny nerd carrying heavy textbooks slams into Raph’s back. The entire hallway goes silent, everyone waiting with bated breath for the inevitable fight...well not a battle with the new kid's size it would be more of a slaughter.
Realizing what had happened, the nerd doesn’t even bother getting up again. His glasses were off somewhere on the floor. Oh well, they were probably safer on the story anyway. Closing his eyes, he waited for the inevitable punch to the gut or the face; he found himself being slowly lifted into the air by his shirt single handly.
“well here it comes I’m either gonna be shoved into a locker or tossed into a trash can again.”
Only the hit never came, and he was gently set back on his feet, glasses placed gently back on his face. Taking a chance, he peeked one eye open to see on almost puppy dog look on this giants face.
"Hey, little buddy, you alright? You should be more careful, try carrying your more with your legs than your back." He said as he stacked the fallen books back into his hands.
With that, Raph turned back around his focus once again on his phone. He quickly trekked down the silent hallway moving passed the stunned students. People's jaws open from the lack of violence.
and the only thing the nerd could say, speaking for almost everyone who had witnessed the scene. "What the Fuck?"
Raph is a godsend to the Football coach and the team. Never in his 30 years of coaching had he seen an enormous player move so swiftly and gracefully. He was pretty sure this Rapheal kid never touched the ground once during tryouts.
Surely he's been playing since he was a kid and had transferred from another high school. The coach nearly fainted when he said that this was his first time playing on a football field and had been homeschooled for the past 16years.
"It's probably from all the dancing I do, especially the ballet, Mikey's better tho.
And the surprises kept coming when Raph entered his math class the teacher felt he had dealt with Raph's type before. He was no doubt the standard jock who slacked off during class but still wanted to play at next week's game.
2 weeks in and Raph was the most attentive student in the class, while not being the best at math anyone could see that he tried his hardest. He asked questions during class, stayed afterward for tutoring and tips, and did his best to stay awake and pay attention.
And the day Raph answered a problem in class and got it right, the teacher could swear he saw stars in his eyes. And when his test grades went up from 65 to an 80, he immediately was out the door dialing on his phone. "Donnie, you won't believe what I got on the test!"
Raph joins the knitting club, and the members nearly fainted when they saw him in the doorway.
"Hamato, why weren't you at the game on Friday? We needed you! "
"But coach, I told you that the knitting club competition was on Friday and that I couldn't make it."
Coach *Surprise Pikachu face*
It quickly became known the Raphael did stand for bullying of any kind as would be quick to call anyone on their shit, especially his teammates
Raphael ‘Hiroki’ Hamato
16yrs old, Junior
Quarterback, Vice President of the knitting club, member of a local boxing club
Hiroki meaning “abundant joy and strength”
Voted most likely to miss a game, because he wanted to pet a stray cat.
I like to think that Splinter gave them all Japanese middle names that fit them well.
Did you guys like it? should I even continue? lemme know because next up is Donnie.

No problem, I loved that ask. Actually, can you do a drabble of Lou introducing Draxum to his family?
I think I can whip up a little something~ ^v^
---------------------
It was just a few months before their wedding now. One would have thought that he would have ‘met the in-laws’ long before this.
“It’s... complicated,” Lou had admitted, after an afternoon of pacing around their house, talking in Japanese over the phone and his tone ranging from aggravated and sheepish to sincere and even a bit excited. As it turned out, his handsome fiance had siblings. Not just one or two, but six.
“Wait wait, we’ve got other uncles and aunties besides just Shen?” Raph had said, his brothers looking just as confused.
“You do,” Lou had sighed before explaining the story. Some things, like Lou’s poor relationship with his father, his mother passing away when he was young, and he and Shen running away to Tokyo when Lou was 18, and then to America once they started making a name for themselves, remained the same, being the same story he had told Draxum years ago.
What he had neglected to mention was that he also had three brothers and three sisters, all ranging in age. He got along decently with all of them - though he admitted that he was sometimes creeped out by his youngest sister, and his oldest brother could be stern and a bit of an ass at times, but there was still love and care there with all his siblings.
Still, being a bitter teenager just barely on the threshold of adulthood, Lou had lashed out on more than one occasion, insulted that not all of his siblings believed he would make it on his own. They hadn’t completely supported his dream of becoming a star, and a couple of them like Nori and Saki thought he still needed their protection. So, Lou had cut contact - first out of spite, then because he was so busy with films and being a celebrity, then out of depression... It had been a couple months after adopting his boys did he finally remember his family, and wondered how they were doing now.
Still, between the distance between them and the frayed strands of siblinghood, they stuck to letters once or twice a year as their primary source of communication, despite a couple of his siblings pushing for more. But, it would seem that the tabloid’s exposing his and Draxum’s engagement was the straw that broke the camel’s back, as it were. His siblings were coming for a visit, at Saki’s stern insistence. Lou would see his siblings again for the first time in years, his boys would meet their aunts and uncles...
And Draxum would be meeting his in-laws. Not just ‘best friends who were practically family’ like with Shen, but actual in-laws. So, here he was, standing by the door with his family, dressed in a teal blue dress shirt and a gold tie, hoping to make a good first impression.
Lou opened his door, and his siblings practically piled in. Even if they all had their own unique features and styles, Draxum could already see a bit of family resemblance. Still, the fact that Lou was the only one in the Hamato bunch with a pompadour made him smile a little.
Lou greeted them all in Japanese, giving hugs and handshakes while answering questions, also in Japanese. Japanese that, despite a few years of trying to learn, his boys just couldn’t hope understand due to how fast their relatives spoke. “I’m gonna start speaking Spanish if they don’t stop speaking Japanese,” Leo mumbled during it all, pouting a bit after trying and failing to translate. Draxum sympathetically patted his head.
Thankfully, Lou didn’t take too long to notice that the rest of his family was feeling a bit out of the loop. So, clearing his throat, he got everyone to quiet down. “Alright. My brothers and sisters,” he began, “I’d like you to meet, my oldest Raphael-” He touched the shoulder of the eleven year old in red- “my ten year old twins, Donatello and Leonardo-” He gestured to each of them, not wanting his siblings to mix them up- “My youngest, Michelangelo-” the nine year old in orange grinned, happily waving at them, “and finally... my beloved fiance, Dr. Benjamin Draxum.”
Draxum bowed slightly at them. “It’s a pleasure to meet you all.”
“It is good to finally meet you as well, Doctor!” one of Lou’s brothers said, smiling at him.
Draxum chuckled. “Please, just Ben is fine.”
“Very well, I-”
“He is Kenji,” another brother, obviously the oldest, said as he took the lead on introductions, “and I am Saki. And this-” he gestured to each of his remaining siblings in order of age, “is Nori, Hiroki, Hikari and Mei.” Each of the siblings nodded at their brother’s fiance before turning their attention to their nephews.
Nori took a knee so she could look the boys in the eyes. “It’s very nice to finally meet you four,” she smiled, “We have much to catch up on, huh?” The boys smiled back at her. She may have been a total stranger, but her kindness and friendliness was already reminding them of their Auntie Shen.
“We should sit,” Saki spoke up, before adding, “if that is alright. We can’t exactly have a proper visit in the doorway, after all. Unless you are planning on kicking us out already, Yoshi.”
Lou sighed a little, shaking his head. Same old Saki. “Make yourselves at home. Sorry there isn’t much seating, but I can grab a chair from the kitchen if anyone needs one. I’ll also make some tea - you all still like ginseng, right?”
They all settled in the living room, and within an hour, they were already getting along like family. The boys took most of the conversation, telling their aunts and uncles about their favorite things and sharing stories. Lou told the story of the day he first met his boys, and then told the story of the night he and Draxum first met - with Mikey butting in when necessary to tell his side.
Kenji chuckled. “It almost sounds like a movie!”
“Believe me, I’m well aware of the irony,” Draxum quipped, chuckling along with him. He felt Mikey hug his leg, the gesture feeling nostalgic given that the boy hadn’t done that since he was six or seven.
“Yeah, Ben is a great dad,” Mikey said, glancing up at his soon-to-be father, “I know I’m definitely glad I found him instead of someone else that night.”
“Well, he’s not your official stepfather yet,” Saki mumbled, quiet enough for the children not to hear him. Nori still elbowed him for it.
The Hamatos shared stories as well, tales that Lou remembered from childhood as well as new ones he hadn’t heard before. It was slightly bittersweet, with Lou silently wishing that he hadn’t stubbornly waited to get in contact with his family again. Still, this wouldn’t be the first time he had to fix mistakes he made in his youth, and at the very least, Lou was certain that even after his wedding, there would still be plenty of family visits.
When suppertime came around, Saki insisted on ordering giant platters from a New York sushi place that they could all enjoy, thinking it appropriate to splurge for an occasion such as a family reunion... And he volunteered Draxum to help him pick it up.
Lou gave his oldest brother a bit of look, but Draxum agreed without hesitation, standing up from the couch and following Saki out the door. Despite the difference in weather and setting, he couldn’t help but feel a bit of deja vu, being reminded of that Christmas Eve nearly three years ago.
“You and my brother get along well,” Saki said finally, after driving in silence for several minutes. Even though he kept his eyes on the road, Draxum could see the sharp sternness in his eyes. Not from malice, though, but from fierce protectiveness. Saki was easily the most serious in this generation of Hamatos, and he took his family very seriously.
Still, Draxum didn’t flinch. “We do,” he said, a small smile on his face, “I’ll admit, I wouldn’t have expected it either. But we-... I connected with him almost instantly.”
“Oh?” Saki said, though it sounded more like a statement than a question.
“...There was this one time, during a first few months of dating,” Draxum began, “Lou had done an interview, and somehow - not his fault, but the fault of a very nosey talkshow host - word got out that we were dating. It was... stressful, to say the least. I met more reporters and members of the paparazzi that week than I had in my entire life, and I nearly had to get a new phone number. ...We almost didn’t make it, because I wasn’t sure if I could handle the stress of, well, that whole situation that came with dating a well known celebrity.”
“...” Saki spared him a glance. “Then what made you stay?”
Draxum smiled again. “I missed him... Him and the boys, and it was then that I decided that I would rather deal with the rough and sometimes aggravating times with him and his family by my side than have peaceful times on my own. Lou made me happy, like no one else had, as did his children. And so, I decided that I was going to try and make them as happy as they made me in return. I wasn’t going to be a coward, and I was going to fight for the ones I loved. ...The ones I never knew I needed until they were nearly gone.”
Saki said nothing, just kept driving. Draxum didn’t mind, he had already said his piece, and if Saki still didn’t approve of him... Well, so be it. He still would try and connect with Lou’s relatives as much as he could of course, but he wasn’t going anywhere.
However, when they arrived at the sushi restaurant, Saki stopped him before they went inside. “My younger brother and I... we have not always seen eye-to-eye,” Saki began, his eyes losing their sharpness and instead taking on an air of fatigue, “But I have always cared about him. Try to guide him, protect him, even when I was angry or frustrated with him... When we did not hear from him in so long, only knowing that he was still alive because he was still in films, and then even losing that eventually... I can not tell you how worried I was about him.”
Draxum gave him a sympathetic look, but said nothing, not wanting to interrupt.
“...Then, when I heard about him getting married - married to someone who could see his fame and fortune as the only reason for marriage, someone who could break my foolish brother’s heart... I became worried once again. ...However-” His eyes became softer now. “I can see that you are not that type of man, Dr. Benjamin.”
Draxum nodded, appreciating the respect. “Thank you, Saki.”
“Do not thank me yet,” Saki snapped slightly, scowling once more, “You still have a lot to prove, and like I said, you are not part of this family yet! Not until the wedding, and even then-! ...However, eventually... I think I could see you being a good brother-in-law, as well as a good husband and father.”
“I can assure you,” Draxum promised him, his voice unwavering, “I am going to do whatever I can for them, and that I care about them with all my heart.”
Saki stared at him, and then nodded. A sign of acceptance, if only a small one. “Come, before the sushi starts to get warm,” he said, heading inside the restaurant. Draxum followed, relaxing somewhat.
It wasn’t long before they returned, platters in hand. Conversation and laughter filled the old home once again as stories were shared and connections were strengthened. Even Saki managed to smile once or twice! At one point, Draxum felt Lou squeeze his hand, his fiance happier than he ever thought he’d be and wondering why they hadn’t done this sooner. Draxum leaned over to kiss him, silently promising him many more evenings like this.
They were a family, and even if he still didn’t have the complete approval of his in-laws yet, Draxum wasn’t worried. It was like he had said before, he was planning on staying by his family’s side no matter what, and he would do all he could for them to make sure they were happy. It was the least he could do, and he was happy to do it.
...Besides, even if he had wanted to, he couldn’t leave yet. After all, there were still plenty more funny and slightly-embarrassing stories from Lou’s youth that he wanted to hear, much to his fiance’s dismay.
THE END

(awww hell yeah @rottmntrulesall. hopefully i wrote them right!)(also everyone go check out their oc’s and au and art its so good)
It was a phone call Lou never expected to make. The phone number was one he had to hire a private investigator to find - he was just glad his family wasn’t off the grid, remote. He punched in the number and waited as the phone rang. Draxum sat close by, bouncing Mikey on his knee, but keeping an eye on them both.
Finally, someone picked up.
“Hello? How did you get this number?” the voice was gentle and Lou was immediately thrown back more than 15 years.
“Nori? It’s- It’s me. Yoshi,” Lou managed, swallowing the heavy lump in his throat. She was silent for a moment.
“Yoshi? You’re alright? Is everything-” she rambled on, asking question after question, making sure he was okay. Lou let himself smile.
“I’m fine,” he interrupted. “I know I left the family under...bad circumstances, to say the least but...”
He sighed. “I have a family now. I want them to meet their aunts and uncles at least once.”
“Oh Yoshi,” Nori cooed. “Of course - Saki won’t be happy about it but...when is he happy about anything?”
Right. Saki. “Get everyone and put me on speaker, sis.”
-
A month later, Lou paced the front room in his apartment - well, one of them, like he would give his siblings his actual address on the surface. His siblings, all of them from Saki to Mei, were arriving in the hour. Tang Shen, one of Draxum’s guards, and the gargoyles, in disguise for now, were bringing them all from the airport. Gargoyles for messaging if anything went sour, Shen and the Guard for muscle. It was important that everything went right that night. Lou even ditched the jumpsuit for something more conservative. A three-piece suit in dark gray, with a dark teal waistcoat and red tie that matched Draxum.
“You’re going to wear a hole into the floor, love,” Draxum said, gently stopping Lou and pulling him close. “It’s going to be fine.”
“I hope so,” Lou replied, pressing his head into Draxum’s neck. “If it goes wrong, this will be the last chance my family and I have to reconcile.”
Not that it mattered. He wanted nothing to do with them, with the Hamato clan name and the legacy that came with it. He just wanted a better split this time, one on equal terms and to properly say goodbye to the ones he missed the most.
“I know,” Draxum began, but the call bell rang. “There’s our cue.”
Lou nodded. “Let me talk to them, alone, and then I’ll introduce you and the boys.”
Lou stood up straight, adjusting his suit, and went over to the call bell and pressed the entrance button and speaker. “Send them up.”
Draxum disappeared into a spare room, and Lou stood at attention in the living room. He had already set out tea for a proper service for them. They just had to come in. And come in they did. Shen entered first, fist wrapped in gauze, then the guard who had a seething Saki pinned to his chest. There was a streak of dried blood smeared over his cheek.
“What the hell? Shen, what happened?” Lou asked.
“He was rude and derivative,” Shen replied, shaking her hand slightly. “So I punched him. I only feel sorry in that I stole the pleasure of punching him and breaking his nose from you.”
“Shen!”
“Maybe I had a short fuse.”
“Oh my god,” Lou pinched his brow. So much for everything going right. “Please tell me everyone else escaped your fist.”
“Well, obviously. They were polite and you don’t have any trauma attached to them,” Shen replied. The rest of them slowly filtered in and Lou felt his eyes well up with tears. Nori was the first to approach, gently cupping Lou’s cheek, looking him in the eye.
“Nori-” Lou managed to say before she wrapped him tightly in a hug. He slowly returned the hug, letting the tears fall onto her shoulder. He had always been the sibling with his feelings on his sleeve. “I missed you...”
“Yoshi, you will not believe how much we missed you too,” Nori replied. “We worried so much! But look at you! So grown up, famous and with a family all your own! I couldn’t be prouder.”
“A disgrace to the Hamato name!” Saki hissed. The guard squeezed him tighter and he wheezed.
“That’s my boss, sir. Refrain from insults until I put you down, otherwise I may not be gentle,” the guard warned. Lou took a shaky breath before letting go of Nori.
“Put him down now, if you please,” Lou said, voice smooth and even. The guard nodded and dropped Saki gracelessly to the floor. He snarled, standing and roughly smoothed his clothing. He glared at Lou.
“Yoshi. You’re still alive, surprisingly. And actually wearing decent clothing instead of some whorish-” Saki began to sling diatribes, but Lou held up a hand.
“Remember what we agreed to, Saki. If you keep acting like this, the meeting is over, I put you back on my jet, and we never see each other again. That I can promise,” Lou interjected. “And yes, I am able to wear different clothing. I had it made special for this visit.”
He turned his attention to the rest of his siblings and his heart welled up. “I missed you all so much. Please, everyone, have a-”
Before he could finish, Kenji, Hiroki and Hikari jumped him, hugging him tightly with a rush of words and sentences in a mix of English and Japanese. Lou could only make out “We missed you!” and “You got so tall!” and “I wish I could’ve helped sooner” from the babble, and nonetheless returned the hug tightly, picking up all three and spinning them around in joy. When they stopped, Lou made eye contact with the youngest of his siblings, Mei, who hung back, quietly watching the scene.
“Oh Mei, look at you!” Lou said, letting the three of them go. “Last time I saw you, you were only a baby!”
“I don’t remember seeing you except in pictures,” she replied. “I was told you were dead and disgraceful.”
“I see,” Lou shot a glare at Saki. “Well, I am very alive. Come, we all have a lot to discuss before I introduce you to the family.”
“Let’s just cut to the chase, Lou,” Saki said. “Let’s just meet the new members of the clan and go.”
“First off, no. They will not be members,” Lou replied. “Secondly, you will enjoy this tea service or so help me I will make you.”
Saki’s scowl deepened, but he sat down on a settee. Lou gestured for the rest of them to follow. The conservation between the siblings went smoothly, talking over the past missed 15 years, sans Saki as he sat and seethed over his tea. Shen looked pleased with herself as she sipped her own glass. The guard stood close at hand, just in case.
“So...you’re married now,” Kenji plied. “Who’s the lucky lady? And why didn’t we hear about it in the tabloids?”
“Well, for starters, we eloped and my publicist only just released everything to the press a week ago. It should be in tomorrow’s papers, including pictures of my husband and I, as well as a few snapshots of my children,” Lou let the bomb of eloping and having a husband drop quickly. The group went quiet for a moment, and Nori just stared at him both in disbelief and an odd sense of pride that comes with knowing that her sibling was like her. “Which is shocking you all more? My eloping or the gender of spouse?”
“No surprise about the running away,” Saki hissed. “But a man? Could you possibly be more-”
Lou and the siblings gave him a pointed glare and he went quiet with a scowl.
“I saw it’s about time we met him then!” Hikari said. Lou nodded, standing.
“There is another thing I should mention about my husband,” he began before calling for him. “Draxum, love? That’s your cue.”
A moment later Draxum appeared, with no disguise, face cool and stoic. His siblings stood in shock, ready to strike but Lou went up to him with a smile, kissing him before turning back to his siblings. “May I introduce my husband, Baron Draxum? And yes, he is a yokai, and no, there’s no trickery on his behalf to seduce me.”
“Yoshi, you’re more of an idiot than I thought!” Saki shouted, storming over. “You continue to disgrace our family! I will drag you back to Japan myself if I-”
A vine was quick to wrap around him. Draxum turned to Lou. “I’m assuming this is Saki, then? I hope you don’t mind if I keep him like this for the evening.”
“By all means,” Lou replied, and watched as Shen looked even more pleased. The vine moved Saki to another part of the room, out of Draxum’s way to the rest of the siblings. He shallowly bowed at the waist to them.
“It is a pleasure to meet you all,” he said. “I only wish it had been sooner.”
Hiroki was the first to break the silence. “Just like in the stories you used to tell me, Yoshi...”
Lou grinned. “In a way, yes. Draxum, this is Hiroki-”
He introduced them all, one by one. “The only people missing are our parents, but mom...our father is too old travel anymore.”
“I see,” Draxum replied. “But nonetheless, I am pleased to meet you all. Even Saki.”
“I would be pleased to be let down!” Saki snapped before quieting down. “Please.”
“Go ahead,” Lou permitted. Draxum let him down carefully. “But the moment you act up, you go back up. And probably out.”
Saki just gruffly nodded, sitting back down on the settee. Shen had never looked more pleased.
“Can we meet the little ones now that we’ve met your husband?” Nori asked. Lou nodded.
“I don’t see why not. Shen, keep them company while we grab the boys?” Draxum asked. She nodded, turning to face them.
“I have stories about Lou that you will all adore,” she began.
“Nothing too outrageous, please,” Lou laughed, grabbing Draxum’s arm. “Now, my boys are also a little bit odd. But...oh, you all will love them!”
The siblings didn’t know what to expect. Shen’s only word about them was to ask no questions. Not yet at least. A few minutes later, Lou and Draxum returned with four baby turtles. One was bundled in a blanket, two in onesies, and one in a pair of soft looking pajamas. Lou beamed with pride as his sibling stepped closer to peer at them. Lou slipped one of the onesie-clad ones into Nori’s arms.
“This one is Leo,” he murmured. “They just woke up.”
Leo blinked sleepily up at Nori. “Hello, little Leo...”
“And this one is Donnie,” Draxum said, placing him into Kenji’s arms. “Mind his back. He’s a softshell.”
Kenji nodded, cooing at the small turtles. Mei peered at the two curiously.
“They’re so tiny...,” she whispered, gently rubbing Leo’s arm. Leo grabbed her finger and Mei froze eyes wide. Lou smiled. Hiroki and Hikari stepped closer and Draxum offered the toddler over to them.
“This one is Raph. He’s still sleeping,” he said. “He’s big for his age, but that’s the correct size correlation for a snapping turtle.”
The two held Raph between them, cooing at the sleeping turtle in their arms and the teddy bear themed pajamas. Saki stayed back, watching from afar. Steeling his resolve, Lou cradled Mikey in his arms and walked over. Saki stared at him in shock. “Yoshi?”
“This is the baby. His name is Mikey and you are going to hold him,” Lou said sternly. Before Saki could protest, Lou more or less plopped the small bundled turtle into Saki’s hands. Saki froze, staring at the small bundle before relaxing slightly to properly hold him. Mikey woke up slightly, babbling slightly before sinking back to sleep.  Saki was silent for a moment before looking up at Lou, eyes wide and wet. “Yes?”
“He’s...they’re...I just...,” Saki stammered. “I’m sorry, Yoshi.”
Lou froze at that. “What?”
Saki looked away, ashamed. “I am sorry for everything, Yoshi-Lou. I never should have done all that I did to you. I shouldn’t have blindly followed orders. Look at what I tried to steal from you!”
“Saki...,” Lou sat down beside him, wiping his brother’s cheek. “Don’t get tears on the baby.”
The other siblings joined them on the couch, still holding their respective nephews. Leo still hadn’t dropped Mei’s hand and she followed along, unwilling to pull her hand away. Saki rubbed harshly at his cheek, shifting Mikey in his arms.
“I am sorry I put you through all that. I’m sorry I helped do all those horrid orders father asked, to you and the rest of you,” Saki continued. “I should have been a better brother.”
“Well, now is your chance,” Lou said, and the other siblings nodded. “And you can start by being a good uncle.”
Saki nodded. “I’ll consider it my highest honor.”
Lou smiled, and Draxum approached, resting a hand on his shoulder, which Lou held. “I’m glad...and I’m glad to have you all back.”
The evening had gone better than he could have ever hoped. He had his siblings back, and they loved his new family. Though there was much to work out and fix, all that mattered was that he had them back.

How does Venus handle both the 24 hr Kraang invasion in the good timeline and the apocalypse in the bad timeline? What’s her reaction to her orange brother becoming the world’s most powerful mystic warrior? Also, how do Splinter’s siblings react to learning that Leo nearly sacrificed himself?
In the good timeline: Now a toddler, she takes an immediate liking to Casey, (calls him CeCe) who's overjoyed to see her as a sweet innocent child. She's with April and Splinter when they face off with the female Kraang. But while her brothers lost their mystic abilities, Venus still has hers, since she wasn't there when the Kraang took them away...and she and Donnie have been practicing with them.
The female Kraang has Venus in one of her tentacles. Seeing the alien attacking her sister and daddy so viciously, makes Venus cry...then get MAD. You know how bad a toddler's temper tantrum can be. Using her intangibility to get out of the Kraang's grasp, grow bigger than her to pop her in her mouth chew her up like a wad of gum and spit her out, smash her up with her harden armored fist, split up into numerous clones to dogpile on the pink blob; Venus basically nearly kills the She Kraang until Splinter calms her down with a lullaby. Venus sleeps until she sees Leo go into the Portal with the main Kraang. She bawls her eyes out, thinking her blue big brother is gone forever. When Leo is brought back, she's happy and squealing his name.
In the bad timeline: Throughout the apocalypse, Venus has mastered her countless powers and is truly a force to be reckon with. She's taken down so many Kraang, but using her powers so much for too long drains her energy fast. She gets killed before Casey is sent back in time, Venus was trying to protect April and the other fighters.
As to Mikey being a powerful mystic warrior, she's thrilled and the two were a dynamic duo. Venus had fond memories of Mikey using his skills to make her laugh back when their little.
The Hamato Fam's Reaction: After the Kraang are gone for good now, the Hamato clan drop by for a visit. They get the rundown of what happened while they were. They were pretty horrified finding out that their family went through such an ordeal- WITHOUT THEM THERE TO HELP!
Once Leo told them about what he tried to do, well...
Saki yelled at him for being so foolish, but was impressed with his resolve and strength. Still said he was an idiot for nearly getting trapped in the Dark Realm with the Main Prime.
Nori scolded Leo as well, though more in a motherly way, like "You could've been seriously hurt, please don't worry us again." Hugs him out of relief and nearly snaps him in half.
Kenji checks Leo over and over too make sure he's still in one piece. Asks if he needs anything or if he would like to talk about it. Tells him not to do sacrifices like that again, especially when he's still so young and has his life ahead of him.
(Saki, Nori, and Kenji are parents themselves, so it makes sense they would freak out the most after Splinter)
Hiroki and Hikari both sobbed hard and nearly suffocated Leo in a group hug and asked if he needed any comfort snacks.
Mei didn't really react much aside from taking Leo's head and pressing her forehead against his.
~Leo is glad that he and his brothers have such loving relatives~

The fact that your Hamato OC, Hikari (Lou Jitsu's younger brother) is gay and the fact that my Monsrage (father of Draxum) is in fact gay too so why not draw them having the hots for each other, only they're too shy to admit they developed feelings for each other... XD
I imagine Hikari's twin, Hiroki would love to matchmake them when she notices her bro having something for the older yokai and vice versa for Mons. She supports her bro all the way and so would the turtles. How about Lou and Draxy, I wonder?...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@mefiman
I’m liking this pairing! Hikari needs some hot yokai love too! Hikari would be shy, but thirst over him from afar. And Hiroki and Lou would try to get those two together!
Draxum would feel awkward with his father dating his boyfriend’s little brother.

A Serving of Tea With a Side of Feelings
Hiroki always loved the pretend tea ceremonies she and Yosh- Splinter used to do back in their childhood. It was one of the very few good memories they had. And introducing her nephew to this practice was even more exciting.
Mikey was rocking slightly as he sat on the floor, clearly excited. Splinter, meanwhile was gathering the supplies and items needed for the ceremony.
"Back in historical times, Michelangelo, tea ceremonies were a ceremonial way of preparing and drinking green tea typically in a traditional tearoom with tatami floor." Hiroki chirped happily, "Beyond just serving and receiving tea, one of the main purposes of the tea ceremony is for the guests to enjoy the hospitality of the host in an atmosphere distinct from the fast pace of everyday life. The ceremony itself was called (茶道, sadō or chadō, "the way of tea" or 茶の湯, chanoyu),' she stated writing out the symbol so her reptilian nephew would have a better grasp of what she meant. "Nowadays, the tea ceremony is practiced as a hobby, and there are places where tourists can experience it, as well."
"That all sounds so nice," Mikey smiled, nodding a bit at her explanation. If tea ceremonies were just as much about relaxing and being social as they were about making and drinking tea, it was no wonder so many people enjoyed them. Watching his aunt carefully as she wrote out the symbol, he tried to study her brush strokes so he could try and write it out himself later. "I'm really gonna have to learn more Japanese," he told her, "the way you guys write is just so pretty-" he stopped, wincing a bit at how childish he probably sounded, hoping it didn't sound like he was mocking his aunt's native language.
"Aw, Thank you! It takes practice but it's very much worth it in the end! You're an artist, so I know you'll catch on to it fast!" Hiroki smiled. It was so nice to see the younger generation get in touch with their roots. Mikey smiled again, beaming at the compliment. He then heard his father chuckle as he set a plate down in front of them. "Another good thing about tea ceremonies? The tasty cakes you get to eat with them!" Splinter grinned, "Unfortunately, we don't have traditional tea cakes, but I figured cut up snack cakes would work just as well."
"It's still lovely. Reminds me of the many ceremonies we had as children." Hiroki sighed. Yosh-Splinter was the only one who was willing to participate in them with her. Saki thought her ceremonies were "Stupid, pointless nonsense' and she should be more focused on training. Nori was too much of a tomboy for it. Kenji just found them kind of boring, but he was nice about it at least. Mei would rather talk about summoning dead things. *shudder*
Splinter's smile softened. "I remember those as well... They were always pretty fun, I'm not sure why no one else enjoyed them. Who could say no to a good cup of tea and some cake? Though, spending time with my little sister was always nice too."
"Well, it's their loss. They probably would've spoiled the fun anyway. You were always the fun one, Yosh-Splinter. Hikari...he tried. But, it just wasn't his cup of tea....pun sort of intended." Mikey chuckled at his aunt's joke. "Well, I'm sure it'll be my cup of tea!" he told them, lifting up his empty cup, "What do we do first?"
"Well, a full, formal tea ceremony is a multi-hour event that starts with a kaiseki course meal, is followed by a bowl of thick tea and ends with a bowl of thin tea." Mikey blinked. "...Cool. So, we should start with preparing the meal then?" Hiroki smiled sheepishly, "Well, Kaiseki meals have a prescribed order to their dishes, most of which are prepared by using one of the common techniques of Japanese cooking. However, kaiseki chefs have considerable freedom to add, omit or substitute courses in order to highlight regional and seasonal delicacies and personal style. I don't think we have the ingredients for it here. Unless I could get it now if you wish."
"Mm, nah." Mikey wouldn't want her running errands when they were supposed to be having tea. "Maybe we could use substitutions? Like, have a NYC version of a kaiseki meal so you don't have to go all over the city for ingredients?" "OOH, that would quite unique! Let's see what we can whip up in the kitchen! I'll tell you ALL the traditional dishes we would have while your father finishes setting up!” Mikey grinned. "Sounds good to me!" Splinter chuckled again, patting his boy's shell as he got up and followed his aunt towards the kitchen.
"You three seem to be having a good time..."
"Hm?" Splinter's ear twitched a bit as he turned towards the voice. Hikari slowly stepped out of the shadows of one of the sewer tunnels. “Mikey is really getting into Hiroki’s tea parties.” Splinter's face lit up. "Oh, Hikari, it is you! Would you like to join us? I'm sure Mikey would not mind the extra company, nor would we." Hikari shook his head. “No thank you. You know I could never really get into the flow of these ceremonies. Besides this was more of a you and Hiroki thing. I always preferred just exploring the forest or pranking Saki with you instead.” Hikari said softly.
"Oh... Well, uh, there's a forest just outside the city. We could go there after the ceremony if you'd like," Splinter told him, "We actually have a friend who lives there. He is a bit strange but he makes really great lemonade."
"Oh uh...is he a mutant by any chance?", Hikari asked nervously. They've been to New York a few times now but Hikari still hasn't gotten over the fact that mutants and yokai were real.
"...Yessss," Splinter replied slowly, "But he's a capybara so, super chill. And uh, he has a bunch of normal, non-mutant puppies too, so..."
Hikari shrunk back a little at that, "Perhaps another time then. I probably would be a nuisance to you....like I always was." The last part he muttered to himself. Splinter blinked, his rat hearing still picking up on that last bit. "What do you mean?" Hikari glanced at his older brother, "I was a pest, a total pain that drove you away. That's...that's why you left us...left me."
"What?" Splinter's ears folded down, his eyes sad now. "No- No, Hikari, that is- I never considered you a pest, and you had nothing to do with me leaving."
Hikari's eyes widened, "I wasn't? but...Saki said...you hated us...and that I was one of the main reasons you ran away. I was always clinging to you and following you, like a second shadow. And that life in America was better than hanging around me for a second longer." Remembering those horrible words their eldest spewed at him when Hikari had asked for the umpteenth time where Yoshi was and when was he coming back.
Splinter scowled. Damn it Saki... it was bad enough his oldest brother was a bully and a pain, only caring about honor and tradition, but did he have to drag Splinter's name through the mud too?
"Hikari... It broke my heart to leave all of you behind. ...Well, all except Saki. But I had to leave - not because I was tired of you or annoyed by you but... because I couldn't be the Hamato Clan Warrior that Father wanted me to be." He scowled to himself. "I couldn't take the training, or the discipline... I could not take the pressure, or the pain of continuing to hide my true self."
Hikari's lip trembled as tears slowly formed in his eyes. "I had no idea, I didn't. I didn't know you were suffering so much. But why didn't you take me with you? You know I would follow you anywhere. We could've started over here together." Hikari lowered his head, "Instead we didn't hear from you in years until recently. Nori tried telling me you were off doing something important, but I had my doubts."
"Otōto..." Splinter stood up, walking towards his younger brother to hug him. As much as he had tried to ignore it, he had always known how much his leaving had hurt his siblings, but he hadn't known by how much until now. "I'm so sorry, Hikari... I would have taken you if I could have."
Wiping his tears away, Hikari hesitantly placed his arms around his Aniki. "Then why didn't you? Did someone stop you, was it too dangerous?"
"Heh..." He smiled sadly. "...Did Kenji ever tell you about the night I left?"
The second-youngest Hamato shook his head, "No, every time I asked him about your whereabouts. He just changed the subject."
"...The night I left... it was Kenji who helped me escape," Splinter told him, motioning for Hikari to sit down, "I had been locked in my room for a while at that point, barely been given anything to eat or drink. Father was trying to get me to break and submit to the Hamato way, to 'stop my foolishness' as it were... It was the middle of the night when Kenji woke me up, practically dragging me out of my room and off to the train station." Splinter blinked away a couple tears as he smiled softly at that memory. "If not for him... I do not know how long I would have been able to hold on. It was Kenji that told me to leave, while I still could. I did not want to abandon you all... but I also understood that it was my only shot - that it would not be as easy to escape a second time, and that Father would only be harsher as the years went on. So, I followed Kenji's advice. and I left."
Hikari didn't know how to react to that. He knew their father was an intense man, he himself had some rather scarring memories he would rather not bring up. But was Spli-Yoshi really put through such hell? And Ken Nii-San actually disobeyed their father to set him free?? His second older brother was always the keep the peace guy.
"Aniki...I'm sorry...I know how harsh Father could be...but I didn't know he would go THAT far. Nor did I think KENJI would do something so daring. He really saved you."
Splinter nodded. “He did... and as much as I missed you, my little brother, I could not afford having Father finding out where I was and sending Saki or one of the clan members after me. ...and, for what it is worth, while I would have loved to have you with me, it was probably better that you weren’t. I was in a new country, a new language, people who didn’t look or speak like me. Also, you don’t just become a big movie star overnight, after all. I had a couple of rough years trying to find roles and only getting bit parts.” It was a wonder he didn’t starve during that time, honestly.
"We probably would've been separated...or worse.” Hikari said. Everything finally made sense but that didn't mean the pain was gone.
Knowing this, Splinter hugged him again. “I am still sorry that I wasn’t able to see you grow up... or that I wasn’t able to properly say goodbye.”
Hikari hugged him back tight. "Aniki...I wish I was able to help you, I didn't realize you were in so much pain. I'm just happy that we're together again now."
"I am too, my brother, and please believe me that I want to spend as much time with you and our siblings as possible while you are all here with me. Both I and my sons do."
Wiping the remaining tears and snot (ew) from his face, Hikari started to smile.
"Is that offer to visit your capybara friend still open?"
"Of course," Splinter smiled, "We can do whatever you want."
"GET READY FOR THE FINEST CUISINE NEW YORK HAS TO OFF-" Hiroki sang as she and Mikey left the kitchen. Immediately noticing her twin and their older brother practically bear-hugging each other. And the slightly red eyes Hikari had. Hiroki immediately passed the platter of food to her nephew and rushed to her brothers' side.
"Hikari!? What's wrong? Why are you crying?? What happened, Nii-san?" Splinter took his sister's hand, patting it to try and calm her. "Hey, hey. It is alright, Hiroki. Everything's fine! We were just, ah, having a bit of an emotional moment." ‘More like a conversation that was long overdue.’
"Yes Hiro Nee-chan, nothing to worry about now.” Hikari sniffed, a relaxed smile appearing on his face. "Nothing at all." For the first in a long time, he finally felt at peace. 'I was actually wondering if I could join your little tea ceremony. I hear you're quite the chef, Michelangelo."
Splinter's smile grew at that, his own eyes getting a bit teary. "Wait, really? Well of course you can join us!" Setting his own plates down, Mikey joined in on the group hug. "And heh, yeah, I am sorta the family cook. Auntie Hikori was just teaching me how to make a traditional tea ceremony meal, and I was showing her how to add a bit of razz-ma-tazz to it."
"Razz...Tazz? That sounds...unique. Let me try this tazz." Hikari said letting go of his family and reaching for a piece on the platter.
Hiroki beamed and squealed, "I never thought you'd want to take part in my tea ceremonies, Hikari! What a pleasant surprise! But I still want to know what the tears were for from the two of you." She said giving Splinter a look.
Mikey giggled. "Help yourself!" he told his uncle, hoping he'd enjoy it. "I will tell you later," Splinter assured Hiroki. If Saki had told his little brother such things, who knows what he told his sister. Hiroki finally looked reassured and started to set everything out. "Now! Traditionally, we start off with bite-sized appetizers and a small glass of alcohol." She pulled out some apple juice instead.
“Since Michelangelo is underage, we'll stick to juice."
"Will you please present the appetizers, dear nephew?"
Mikey saluted before getting the plate, bowing slightly as he presented it to his father and uncle. Splinter sniffed it. "Mmm, smells yummy!"
"This is absolutely wonderful, Michelangelo. You really are gifted!" Hikari smiled. He wished for more moments like this. Just relaxing, chatting, and bonding with his family. They may not have had a great beginning, but he hopes that in later times they'll create happier memories to look back on. As the group of four dined and talked, Hikari sat closer to his beloved older brother.
Mikey beamed. If not for the plate he would have hugged his uncle again. "Thanks Uncle Hikari, and there's more where that came from! There's still a whole lot more where that came from!" They had a whole meal to enjoy, after all. Taking a sip of his apple juice, Mikey hummed and leaned a bit towards his pop. "You knowww, I am a mutant turtle, which means I don't HAVE to follow the law since I can't really get arrested, given that human cops don't even know I exist. So, if I WERE to have a bit of alcohol-"
"Mikeyyyy," Splinter said, giving his son a bit of a look, making his answer to the unasked question quite clear. The box turtle sighed. "Worth a shot."
"Why are you so interested in drinking anyway?"
"Rupert Swaggart uses alcohol in his cooking all the time! Plus I'm curious about the taste. I mean, it has to be pretty good if people drink it all the time.”
The twins stared at Mikey in confusion. “Rupert Swaggart? Isn't he that gross fat pig thing you boys were fighting the other day?" Hikari asked. "I bet he tastes delicious." Hiroki chimed.

Getting used to having turtle nephews was one thing, but how do the Hamato siblings react to some of their more, shall we say, 'quirky' traits? Donnie's fear of beach balls, Mikey's Dr. Delicate Touch persona, and Raph's fear of being alone/savage state, just to name a few. (Leo's the most normal one, lol) Also, SHELLDON and Buddy/Frankenfoot, I'm sure they get some interesting reactions from the Hamato siblings too, heh
This was fun
Donnie’s beach ball fear? Hiroki and Hikari would find it pretty hilarious (not out of malicious, it’s just so bizarre to them), until Kenji or Nori (mainly Nori) smacked them upside the head for their insensitivity. Nori and Kenji would try to help Donnie get over his phobia....it’s unsuccessful. But Donnie appreciates them caring. Mei would search up images of beach balls, studying them intently. Curious as to how a fear could manifest from a rubber orb used for ocean fun. Saki wouldn’t really react, it sounds too ridiculous for it to be real. Assumes Donnie is trying to be funny.
Dr. Delicate Touch takes them by surprise. The first to experience it is Hikari. He was panicking over accidentally breaking one of Splinter’s old VHS movies, so Mikey figured he should try to bring his uncle back to reality. “CALM YOURSELF, FOOL! GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!” Hikari, along with everyone is looking at Mikey like, ‘WTF’ at first. Hikari decides to keep a distance from Mikey for the next few days. Hiroki and Nori think it’s adorable that their youngest nephew tries to be all threatening and commandeering. Mei likes Dr. Delicate Touch and hopes to see more of him in the future. Kenji wonders if the artsy turtle has issues. Mikey promises that he doesn’t. Saki warns Mikey NOT to do that to him. EVER.
Finding out that Raph has fears of loneliness is heart-breaking to his aunts and uncles, so they make sure they each spend as much time with him as possible. (Saki would tell him to suck it up and he’s not a toddler, he sucks at being comforting). Raph’s savage state is a whole other thing. Hikari is scarred from the experience of Raph tying him up and trying to eat him. Raph apologized profusely countless times for that. Hiroki would try to make a fake nature documentary, it was okay and pretty amusing until she tried to upload it. Then Splinter snatched the camera out of her hand and crushed it with his tail. Mei makes bets with Donnie on who Raph will maul first, Splinter puts an end to that. It takes Nori and Saki to hold Raph down and Kenji to talk soothingly to him to snap him out of it.
SHELLDON is truly something to marvel at. The siblings even Saki can’t help but be impressed by Donnie’s intelligence. Donnie just eats it all up. He’s so modest (not). The younger Hamatos try to hitch a ride on SHELLDON. Saki, Nori, and Kenji are surprised that SHELLDON can actually hold a conversation with them. His surfer dude voice is bit a strange though.
Being a Former Paper Foot Ninja, the Hamatos understandably view Buddy as a threat and try to shred him. Thankfully, Splinter and the Turtles stop them and explain the situation. Despite some minor suspicions, they warm up to old FrankenFoot. He’s a good sparring partner for Kenji and Nori, though they have to hold back as not to break him. Mei likes how unsettling and creepy looking he is, she tries to paint him black to give him a more sinister appeal, Buddy innocently allows this. Hiroki plays all sorts of goofy pranks on Buddy, due to how gullible he is. Hikari friendly at a distance, he doesn't want to set Buddy off accidentally. Saki keeps a distance from Buddy too, but he’s a bit harsher about it. He won’t take any chances.
