soooo in order to keep y'all from sitting on the edge of your seats, i decided to put together a bit of a february road map. uh. such as i'm capable of having one, barring me being thwacked in the head by an idea i simply MUST get out, ahahhaa!

feb 14: leo valentine's day one-shot

feb 19: super secret project that definitely isn't a present for my roommate's birthday

feb... sometime: symphony 24 (will likely be before the other dates, depends on how quickly i can get them finished!)

the existence of the fear street trilogy is completely justified to me simply by how clever of a writing + editing choice it was to include both versions of the man who sold the world like thematically it’s THEE perfect song + ties to both nick and ziggy as characters but then to use a version of it that fits both the 70s and 90s plot lines respectively is SO GOOD

#and of course we appreciate the lesbians otherwise the movies are a bit of a wash for me but that’s just personal taste tbh #edit: i forgot my icon was from this movie HAHAHA deena is just so iconic that she transcends these movies #just vibes alone. we appreciate a classic bts final-girl-covered-in-fake-blood photo

Thoughts on the new volumes

There's no much to say about volumes 1 and 2,it keeps the same chapter order we know and love, I just praise Sensei for all the redraws,the background scenarios are more detailed and our boys more handsome (Klaus have more muscles! And wow Taki's face and hair! 😁😁😁)

The new opening scene is good, it establishes well our main characters personalities.

Now on the 3rd volume, I really liked how she re-arranged the chapters,it makes more sense and flows better.

I loved the extended dialogue between Klaus and Suguri,and that takes us to the Luckenwalde flashback. Maybe that was always her intention because they appeared as chapters 13-16 in the old order.

When the flashback ends,we will get back to Klaus and Suguri more heated "conversation", but where does that leave chapters 5-9,the Thorn Crown flashback? Will she put it right after that?

Sensei only used the new chapters 1-4,and there's still so much from the old material,chapters 12 and 17-22 are almost untouched.

Edit 10/06: She used the very first pages from chapters 17-18, the scenes with Katsuragi.

I liked that she's adding these short scenes:Katsuragi, Suguri showing Taki No Man's Land, in extras (named after the seasons) and Lupus et Flos is in vol 3.

I hope the kendo practice is not cut,and all that follows,please I want to see the curtain scene again! 😅😅😅
