So happy to finally show off my final piece for the Tome of Pacts zine I feature in.

This is Hagne, the Herald of Rot, and faithful servant to her Patron, Cicardia. Her look was inspired by several things -- death masks, pomegranates, worn bronze, flies and centipedes. The butterflies she carries feed on death and decay. Hagne herself felt the cold embrace of the grave, but was blessed to find herself given another chance. She will not fail.

I am so honored to have been a part of this project, and this is one of my favorite pieces to date. I hope you guys enjoy it as well. :)

Such a strange term straight entails.

I like to think I have been a straight man, regarding my moral and political ideas - although in no few instances were I to move back in time things would have developed differently - and devouted to common sense.

As for my sexual and romantic preferences, I have always dwelled with the ladies, be it in short-term adventures or long lived agreements of love and trust. Some who despise me think of me as a libertine and dongiovanni, but I trust no companion of mine has been hurt unless love had been involved - in which case both parts suffer. Neither was I ever entralled by the meek and weak telling of women as docile maids. Love has to be enjoyed and driven by both parties, and both must be able to live alone if needed - not to be dependent on each other, but to choose and devout one's soul to the other, it's the choice that makes love grand and sacred... (*)

That does not mean I have not been able to love men as well. That has been a different kind of love and adoration, more exclusive to the mind and character of the men who have bewitched me.

It is true I once kissed Wagner. He boasted about this sometimes, I'm aware. I'd though tell that this gesture of affection and sympathy on my part has been a weaker sign of love than what a cosmic sign of dis-love and peer trust has been old Wagner's entanglement with my daughter Cosima.
