Matching canvas grocery bags for me and my mum. She loves red, so she got the red interior.

The lining is also waterproof raincoat material, so she can just wipe the bag out very easily if something spills without needing to wash the entire thing. (My lining is just beige cotton fabric, so I don’t put liquid or meat in it LOL)

Hello! As you may have guessed, I am posting a bunch of projects as I have finally remembered to go through and share them, lol. In order, following the coffee care bear sweater I posted, I used the leftover grey and white yarns to make this bag. I didn't follow any pattern, just laid out a bunch of granny squares and connected them to make the bag. Started 9/26/23 and Finished 10/3/23

You know, as an afab individual, when your parental unit (usually mom) gives you pads and tampons and shit in a "trying to be inconspicuous, but really am just trying to fit the social norm of 'period bad and secret, actually'"? Yeah, well my mother does this via grocery bag.

Today she gave me one in that oh so secretive manner, and all it had was two cans of chickpeas.

i couldn't figure out why the tension on the rigid heddle was so bad, nor why it seemed worse every time i pick it up.

i think i've cracked the case.

anyhow, my next big-loom project was going to be tea towels, but now i think it's going to be a cat hammock.
