I took my frog to the library with me for my craft group, the women loved him and one kept putting flowers on his head, now I need to make him some flowers to wear!
I finally turned the Cursed Handspun into a thing! (I made a whole sweater with this, then realized I hated it, frogged it. Started another sweater, frogged it. Started a cardi and, you guessed it. 🐸 Then it sat in the stash for a few years. Was lange währt...)
Pattern is Outlandish Bodice by bron matheson, available for free! Unfortunately it comes in only a very limited size range. Fortunately, if you're like me and not doing the fitted version, it's a seamless modular knit and basically just rectangles, so it's very easily adjustable.
Mine closes with lacing because I was too lazy to sew in the 500 billion hooks and eyes the pattern calls for. I could have made it with a tiny bit more negative ease, but it's fine and overall I'm happy with it.
The new bag strap is done! It turned out just a tad shorter shorter than I had planned, but it turned out to be a good thing! It may actually be a bit long still. It's the perfect length for over one shoulder when adjusted as short as it will go, and when I adjust it to the length I need for crossbody, I still have quite a bit of room to adjust it to be longer still. Overall, I'm really happy with how it turned out!
your sylvanian customs make me feel crazy in the head i love them so much
Thank you very much! They're a ton of fun to make and I have endless ideas for more. I'm cooking up several new sets of them for the conventions I'm tabling at this summer (Furlandia 2024, Anthro Weekend Utah 2024, possibly Denfur 2024). Expect a big post showing them off in the next month or so, but for now, here's another sneak peek. :)

Finally built the squad captain of my growing Mecha army.
I call him "Captain Theseus" because his mech is built from the all the 'trophies' he's collected in battle. His mech is more recycled scrap than original parts.
Super proud of how he turned out. It was fun to add a lot of little metal plates and painting those hotrod flames on his side.
Plus his "Scrap Sword" came out great.
I also built another basic mech, this one with a rifle, mortar launcher and shield. Very classic Gundam.
i made a crochet pattern for the stars in fob’s claymation video reading stardust from dec 2022, would anyone be interested in the pattern? i’ve been writing it up and could upload it as a pdf for whoever wants it :) if there’s any interest, i’ll finish it up and post it!
