happy start of the week everyone! i had my 3 hour bio lecture today, we covered prokaryotes and protists and our lab on wednesday will be on protists and we’ll be looking at a bunch of different specimens! the last of the snow finally melted on campus so i’m not going to slip on ice from the walk from my car to class anymore, which given how clumsy i am, that’s a real fear of mine. i don’t need a concussion on top of all my other medical stuff lol

i had my lecture exam for bio today and i don’t think I did bad but i think i could have done better tbh. but i did a lot of studying so i wonder how the rest of my group who didn’t did. i’m working on finishing random tasks and I’m starting to bullet journal in german to practice more. my oma is coming from berlin in may and i want to be able to talk to her more lol. anywho have a good day yall

i’m sooooo ready for this semester to be over. im in the home stretch and i will finally be able to rest lol. im currently working on an access database project for my ITE class and i hate it. i hate it so much. at least im writing an essay about percy bysshe shelley for my british lit class lol

In the home stretch for the semester! Just have two weeks left and then i'm off for break and I don't have to worry about any school work until august, and then I'm only taking two classes instead of the 6 i'm taking now. I'm very tired but I'm gonna push through it, I know I can do it. Honestly the only final that I'm worried about is my ITE Principles of Information Systems class, but I got a 100% on my database project and my professor posted a study sheet so I think I'll be fine. I want to start studying sooner than I did for our midterm because I only got a 75% on that. Other than that I'm all good. I can't wait to sleep lol.

I got accepted on the President’s List at my college!! i’ve also been dissecting frogs and fetal pigs in bio and i’m weirdly enjoying it. like i like these labs more that the just paper ones. i only need one more credit and then ive completed my associates degree and i can transfer to my four year (im going to the College of William and Mary). i FINALLY completed my macroeconomics final from last semester (*cough* four months later *cough*) which is a weight off my shoulders. looking forward to a chill weekend bc i finished so much of my work this week. just a few more weeks until summer break and im READY.

BIG study day today! i have a lab quiz and studied with my group for about an hour (i’m in lab now) and then we study again for our lecture exam on monday after our lab is done. i’m super ahead in my classes because i spent sunday and monday doing a lot of work so i could have a chill week. i got some bubble tea packets from walmart and im so happy to have them again, tea in general is great but bubble tea is even better! feeling pretty good for the most part and its nice making friends to study with!

Day 89 • 100 Days of Productivity

i finally got an answer from my macroeconomics professor about how to do my final from last semester (i had taken an incomplete grade because of illness) and instead of having to do a 60 minutes timed multiple choice and four 10 minute timed writing prompts, she’s just giving me a document to do on my own time to answer 15 essay questions. it’s literally not even due until over a month. i am BLESSED. i also have been studying my ass off for biology and it’s paying off because i got a 90% on a lab quiz that a lot of people struggled with. you can see the screen that my study group did some quizlet questions on.

the food pictures are last nights dinner with a philly cheesesteak and this morning’s coffee. i’m completely out of rhythm with my food intake but not in a disordered way just in a too focused to eat and then when i am hungry it’s in classes where i can’t eat. at least i ALWAYS have a structured dinner with my family because we meal plan for the week on sundays. i’m trying to get into eating breakfast before school which is going well, especially because my club sandwich bagel tastes better than anything in the cafeteria on campus lol

anyway, back to studying so i can relax this weekend!

90% done with this challenge! i studied a lot today, i have a biology lecture exam tomorrow and i have a lot of memorization to do. i also ran some errands with my mom and got my glasses fixed after my dog sat on them lol. have a good week yall!

disappeared for a bit again so here’s a happy new year! the food is my new year’s eve fondue tradition my family has.

i start my next semester on tuesday and im excited for it!

i had to finish last semester with an incomplete in one class because i was sick for about two months straight and couldn’t finish all my work in time. my professor was the one who suggested it so i could rest over break and then turn stuff in once spring semester starts. i also was out of my adhd meds for two months and im finally back on them and by the gods do i feel worlds better.

back in the swing of things today! i was struggling a bit yesterday and monday to get work done, but i’ve been working for an hour now and i’m ready to just keep going. worked on radicals and now i’m moving on to complex numbers. i finally understand radicals! i never understood them before now! anyway, back to work!

today was a macroeconomics speed study! i haven’t had time to do my macro work because my other (in person) classes are taking up a lot of my time and i haven’t had much time for my online classes. fortunately i got everything done and i still have tomorrow before everything needs to be turned in so i can do some more responses on the discussion board to get more credit. todays work was about PPFs and opportunity costs

im at my volunteer shift at my local LGBTQ+ center! it’s a slow day today, we don’t have any events going on, so im working on some studying. i love this place so much!

so i’m having a medical scare at the moment, tests are coming back not great, so i’m just studying and reading to avoid stressing myself out. school has been a great distraction and keeps a routine for me that helps my mental health. also i added a picture of a zucchini/squash/veggie bake (one of my favorite foods) and also my cat tyler was being cute. i’m so glad i don’t have a math class this semester lol

Day 93 • 100 Days of Productivity

spent this week focusing on sociology because i had my first big test for it. the work was mostly the critical thought exercises and the central idea exercises which were 40 and 10 respectively (which i should have started weeks ago, but waited until the very last moment 😳). i was able to have a front and back page cheat sheet and all of the questions came from my book’s practice tests and the book gives the answers so i literally took 5 minutes for a 50 question test because i read through all the answers before the test lol. he even told us which vocab terms would be used in the matching section. i want all tests to be like this one holy shit
