OOOO OKAY so i actually hate doing top tens because i overthink everything and constantly switch things around SOO... im just gonna do a collection of five things bee likes SORRY FOR THE FALSE ADVERTISING 😭

1 City of God

i hate telling people this is one of my fav movies cus I don't wanna seem like that pretentious person who only watches foreign films for the sake of watching foreign films. This is literally my favorite movie because it's my favorite movie. I don't really watch a lot of movies and this just happened to be one i found and happened to like! I read the book first (dont. By the way. It kinda sucks partly because it got translated poorly so not it's fault but mainly because it's violence for the sake of violence. Like if the movie went just by book, i wouldn't like it. But it doesn't so <3 )

think of the movie and the book like No Country For Old Men. The book goes for shock and suspense and the movie goes to make it Art. It's a really pretty film and you kinda value it more knowing like. None of the actors went anywhere. They did their piece for the film then that's pretty much all. It's a good film of a bad film that made it good film? Like what happens is bad, but the bad doesn't happen just to happen and be Bad. IDK man !

YEAH SO. LMAO um 😭 let's get this clear i hate b*ll i hated him from the beginning righteous prick and i always skipped his parts in the show or used it to do homework when i was lil. I JUST REALLY LOVED THE ANIMATION!! the show and the movie is ass tho. BUT IT'S THE KINDA ASS... you Enjoy 😈. All intentions possible. I love love LOVE watching this movie with friends so we can make fun of it and point out the terrible writing, not in a 'we're better sense' but a 'LMFAO WTF WAS THAT????'

it's a very WTF WAS THAT movie and i love it 😭. Weird Harold, Rudy, and Otis (yall don't even know any of these people but especially Otis. All u gotta know is he's the best) carried. Dumb Donald has a great design cartoon wise but he got on my nerves. He's alright tho

the harder they fall's soundtrack is SO good. It's so cool, it's just a COOL movie. It's an action movie so some of the characters could've been written better (especially some of the women. They werent written horrible but they had more potential that you can feel wasnt justly reached), but the characters they spent time on, you could tell. From their stories and personalities and dialogue and interactions, very cool!!! Sometimes an almost anime-esque kind of movie? Sometimes shot like Scott pilgrim? Sometimes sphagetti western.. Sometimes action.. Sometimes comedy! It's a COOL movie that you can think about a little bit but not cramp yourself over. It's not a complete turn your brain off though. It's engaging in what it is! Which is a lot of things, so it's very engaging!!!

Blade!!!!!! The patron Saint of joth gf!! my first!!! my beloved!! my EVERYTHING!!!!! the movie's writing shows its time in only having personality in 'crazy side villain who dies' 'clever quip when someone dies' 'sad for short time when someone dies'. Maybe the new blade movie wouldn't be in such a fumbling state if i was in the writer's room with my divine, lifesaving advice of 'just make blade more babygirl'. Literally. That's all you have to do. It's not that difficult. ANYWAYS yeah he and the flash and hawkman were my 3 only childhood 'superhero' heroes. This is more of a personal childhood attachment thing like Albert than being a.. Good movie. BUT it DOES have its cinematography! You can feel the wuxia inspiration in some scenes

these two can sit in the same space because they're both childhood films as well. Boyz was better at leaning into characters as human (which i value a lot) and menace was better at showing the edge of what life can do to characters. They're both good films in their own right! Check em out! I liked menace way more than the other when i was younger but growing up im leaning more toward the other but they're AGAIN theyre both super snazzy

Some honorable mentions... to make up for the lack of a ranking system:

- New Jack City: NEWWW JACK! CIIIITYYY (NEW JACK CITYY 🎶 !!) older blaxplotation movie so cheesy, cheap, but like? Cool??? cut out the cheesy old cop crud and you get an entertaining villain with an entertaining mob. Also there's one death in the movie that's a brutal one, and it's offscreen. You just see a glimpse of the desecrated aftermath. Those are like the best deaths in a movie tbh. The imagination being our biggest friend and our biggest enemy. Love it love it!

- dead presidents: WAR IS TRAUMATIZING!!!

- mean girls: the Brutus speech about Cesar.. no essay can compare. Shakespeare shut the fuck up bitch

- clueless: 🥰

- little shop of horrors: open up here i come

- in the wood: STACY!!!!!!!

- Rocky: Apollo slayed and then he died

- sky high + high school musical: Disney peaked with these characters then never again

- FRIDAY + Friday 2: loved the 'you don't need a weapon' moral trying to be taught then using a weapon (brick) in the end. Seamless

- ratatouille: the wii game ratatouille was my red dead redemption

- baby jody: all manchilds need to watch this. It's hilarious and it's true. Don't be a manchild. Grow up. OH also the mom has a little garden and it's really cute. And she's super buff. People try to plant shit in her garden. Makes me so mad. We can never have nice things!!!

- coraline: the movie was so cool.. the video game on the wii scared me so bad i had nightmares from the bad game over screens. But the designs were great the elements the songs the using good characters abilities into their bad character abilities UGH it was SO cool!!! i hate people that like coraline though... it's like.. idk how to describe it. there's like two types of theater people... either really really nice or seems really nice, actually a huge usually passive aggressive or control freak holier than thou smart ass who thinks they're the stem of theater because their personality is loving hamilton (i fucking hate hamilto

- hot boyz: this movie is straight ass

- king of New york: this one kinda sucked too but the secondary villain was gay and awesome

- Good Burger: i watched a blossoming boy romance in a place that sells burgers. Good burgers.

- Monster House

they survived because they had sex

-Kung fu panda all of them except maybe not the 3rd: just gorgeous gorgeous movies. The animation is stunning

- Hustle & flow: Ludacris !!!!!!!!! Acts!! He gets his ass kicked but that's ok. I think in another film he also gets his ass kicked? I can't remember tho. He loves losing

- Se7en: themed kills that play with unique abilities 🥰🥰 i don't have the patience for a murder mystery so i don't remember who did it or what was in the box and i don't cool. Seven deadly sins awesome

- Barbershop: mollusk man and preppy man should've had sex. Hate sex specifically

- that one movie? 9?: i watched it when i was little and alone. The Bara fucking dies

- Johnny English Reborn aka THE MR BEAN X DANIEL KALUUYA MOVIE IM TELLING YOU THEY HAD S*X!!!!!!@ it's actually a mainly unfunny movie with some funny parts like most older comedies but it's gay so it's ok

- encanto: i don't like encanto like Some people like encanto but it was the first movie that made me upset, I can't even Identify why?? It got me in my feelings and i don't even know!! How!! Or what!!!! I wouldn't say it's my favorite movie in terms of i want to see it again because i Like it, but it IS a good movie!! Like objectively it's great

- night at the museum: gay

- white chicks: the dancing scene? Monster high wishes it could

- cars: the purple car was so hot

- mo' better blues: so much could be solved if hate sex...

- remember the titans: football polycule and mean man

- fences: father issues . The Movie.

- into the spiderverse: yes.

- the players club: her boyfriend's name was Lance who tf is called Lance who is real? Like a real person? Lance is for GTA Lance Vance who likes to Dance. He cheated because he was always fake. Like Lance armstrong.. they are not. Real people.

- NOPE: the spectacle idea is SOOOOO

- glory road: gay people gay people gay basketball people gay

- space jam: i thought this was the coolest shit when i was little but the part where Michael's manager got flattened gave me nightmares.

- Get Out: I liked reading the script a lot for this one!! Also gay. Loving gay couple who survived crazy white people and coparent a tiny dog very well. A well deserved happiness

- jump in: this movie is like fat albert to me

- Jason takes manhattan: my favorite character is on watchmojo top ten best Jason kills 😭😭 Julius gaw you should've won and i stand by that. Should've donkeykicked him in the stomach ROLL CREDITS!!!!

YES exactly omg like when i wanted to get into f+tm it took me forever to choose smth to listen to first so i just asked a friend what to listen to. yea ur absolutely right. she did she did and then acted like it isnt one of the most addictive songs on her discography??? when i first heard the bridge i thought she said he looks so pretty like a devil and that did me in but the actual lyric is everything too lmao YES hey taylor just make the longest album all a bunch of 10 mins song thanks babe lol

omg thatd be so fun!! they came to my country and we totally missed it and my mom was so sad ab it like she was all "why didnt you tell me they were coming" lmaodsjk and i wouldve loved to go as well. aww its ur "i thought they were boo-ing me" sorta moment (thats the first thing that came to me lmao). YES which is why im trying to get into other artists cause soon im going to have listened the hell out of all the discographies of my fav artists djskmdlm

yea dont fall for the peer pressure to watch them its a lot and not so amazing anyways lol. i mean yea but some of the plot is bit iffy for me like the cultural roots of the whole avatar people and that dash of white saviour stuff in the first movie so its like eh.

spoiler free thoughts on mugen train movie: it was great!! stunning animation, great new soundtrack, great voice performances (i watched subbed) paced the story really well. i went in with high expectations and wasn't let down! 10/10 can't wait for everyone to get the chance to watch it :D

spoilers (and more in depth) under the cut:

wanna say that i am being Incredibly nit-picky in some of this. the movie was truly amazing and i enjoyed every second of it. i'm just gonna graze through the manga chapters the movie covered to help myself remember / point out what i liked / disliked

the second demon rengoku killed on the train i didn’t really think was necessary? i think maybe they were just trying to fill up more time, have it make more sense why tanjiro & crew liked / thought rengoku was so cool (it did give rengoku a better chance to show off his power and skill to them for the first time)

the animation used to rengoku’s flames was GORGEOUS (of course) it looked so beautiful

the dream sequences were done so well!! honestly zenitsu’s dream was super cute and boss inosuke’s and his minions.. inosuke you are so important to me i hope he knows that. THANK GOD for shiny acorns!!! genuinely one of my fav parts in the manga it’s so cute and silly i love seeing inosuke being friends with nezuko

senjurou sounded Nothing like how i’ve been imagining his voice up to this point. i’ve always read his voice as very soft like a younger child since he’s so young and has a kinder nature, so i’m not gonna lie i was a little thrown off by that lol

tanjiro pulling himself into the water in his dream was so beautifully done honestly that was one of my fav scenes just bc it was so pretty

i was pretty upset that the detail about rengoku's spiritual core being brittle was left out, i feel like that's such a Huge detail about his character (since we only get to know him for such a short amount of time) maybe it was mentioned in the film and im just forgetting

nezuko's flames burning around tanjiro during his dream looked So Beautiful i was truly just awed throughout the whole film by how beautiful the animation was

tanjiro’s youngest brother crying when he was trying to leave the dream crushed me honestly that got the water works going lol i know the big moment of that scene was nezuko but; someone in the theater gasped Really loud when nezuko showed up in tanjiro's dream and it added so much drama lol so thank u to that person for upping the emotion

this whole part was the Real tear jerker of the movie^

i wish this scene had more been More? idk i was really looking forward to how this scene would end up in the movie and it was really just tanjiro screaming and then showed blood on the snow. i know it was shown multiple times later during the fight with enmu but. was hoping for something more i guess! esp i think the first time showing it should've been a Big Deal idk

during this scene tho i Loved that there was like a piano version of kamado tanjiro no uta and also a piano / softer version of gurenge; idk which played during these scene but i heard and picked up on both and really loved that

on another soundtrack note: the clarinet (or maybe bass clarinet) that played for what im guessing was enmu's theme was sooo good congrats to any composer that can get me to enjoy the clarinet lol

tanjiro's dream subconsciousness was sooo beautiful and so were the little fire spirits that lived there i think it continued to perfectly capture tanjiro's kindheartedness

tanjiro's nightmare was also so well done. i thought that was one of the best part of the movie tbh

actually my biggest complaint about the movie was how awkward and out of place the 3D / CGI looked compared to season 1 of the anime. the "guts" inside the train just looked really gross and poorly done

[anime vs manga comparison] (also my friend said that enmu made him think of orochimaru LOL)

another thing was the train being covered with enmu's flesh or guts after their head was cut off just looked so gross and weird, i wish that hadn't been changed / added in the movie

and with the weird / gross looking 3D it made tanjiro and inosuke's fight together to find enmu's neck just a little rough to watch. i think it would've been better if there wasn't so much of enmu's flesh all over the train

i wish this had been shown in the movie since it didn't make it into the story of the manga. the movie just showed nezuko burning inosuke and zenitsu with her fire (which is how she woke tanjiro up, so i guess it makes sense that it would work for those two as well)

after enmu was defeated i thought it was insane how clear of an image of kokushibo we got!!! we've only (barely) seen silhouettes of him up to this point in the anime, and since we also got such a clear picture of daki (with season 2 on the way) it makes me excited to think that we will see him in season 2 as well (along with the other upper moons; and hopefully get the whole series animated lol)

the fight against akaza was outstanding and amazing. truly have no words lol. unfortunately i missed a small part of the fight bc i had to go use the bathroom (my friend said i missed the coolest part of their fight) but akaza looked SO GOOD and the fight was so well animated and i Loved akaza's voice - not how i had been imaging his voice but it still fit him so well (wasn't such a major difference like with senjurou lol) and the music that played during their fight was great. the purposeful silence in some parts of their fight was perfectly placed to make it more tense and emotional (also rengoku blocking akaza's punches with his sword. king shit)

i really liked this detail, both with enmu and akaza, that their screams are apparently So Loud, i guess that's something you dont really pick up when you're reading

when rengoku's mother showed up and inosuke started crying that's what really did it in for me lol i tried to keep myself from crying too hard / loud in the theater but i know once i watch it alone im gonna be bawling

where the movie chose to end was really interesting to me. i thought for sure the movie was going to include tanjiro's visit to senjurou so im a little surprised that that's being held off until season 2. it really will make it mandatory for anime viewers to watch the movie before starting season 2

THOUGHTS ON D3

(some of these may be points about stuff we already knew going into it but like now that weve gotten to see it all together its easier to discuss)

- i like what they did with audrey’s plot. her and mal’s relationship did feel pretty unresolved after d1 so im glad they went this route. not to mention being able to bring her back after her being absent in the second. also i like the message that it gave off about being able to be good or bad regardless of where you come from

- i loved hades! he was so fun and i loved how things ended up with him. and DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO WAS AWESOME probably my fav song. but i cant say im a huge fan of him being mal’s dad. like i loved the way their relationship played out but while the descendants fan in me is happy the disney stickler thinks its a bit too much creative license for them to make a kid the child of two disney characters from two different movies. it also kinda like...almost invalidates her character of “maleficent’s daughter” now shes the daughter of two villains and it?? feels different?? if that makes sense?? could the other VKs possibly have another villain as their other parent?? who knows. also i wish they hadn’t made it so obvious so early like people guessed this A YEAR AND A HALF AGO WHEN THE TEASER CAME OUT. maybe had it just been a few months it wouldnt have been as bad but yeesh. it made the shock factor...well, almost non-existant.

- continuing on their relationship, i thought tackling the idea of an absentee dad was a bold move for a movie like this and i applaud it. not to mention with an upbeat musical number? they really did that

- i loved celia too!! i was afraid she was gonna be more bad news than she was but she was super cute and sweet. loved her friendship with dizzy. and loved getting to see more of dizzy! and even though dr facilier wasnt in it much he was fun. i thought it was sweet that he and celia seemed to have a good relationship. im also glad we got to see lady tremaine! but wheres drizella lol

- also in regards to hades and celia, i liked that they brought in two more movies into the universe that hadnt yet been acknowledged (not counting wicked world or the books). i love both hercules and princess and the frog and while i wouldnt call them underrated theyre not quite as mainstream as some of the other movies in the descendants universe so im happy with that.

- on the other hand, i dont really like it when they get more kids from movies that they already have kids from. in this case, squeaky and squirmy. gil seemed out of place to me when i first watched d2, especially cuz like why would gastons son be a pirate, but since he had some funny lines with ben (in this movie too!) it was worth it. but squeaky and squirmy had no lines with harry? THEY ALMOST DIDNT HAVE ANY LINES AT ALL??? so why couldnt they have had them be kids from a movie they hadnt used yet? the more the merrier imo. idk.

- mal and uma repairing their relationship was like the highlight for me ugh it was so good. i think we all had a feeling that would happen (not just from speculation but from set pics and whatnot) but it felt satisfying regardless. uma saying “im right here mal you got this”? love that

- WE LOVE MORE DRAGON MAL. EVEN MORE THAN IN D2. WE LOVE THAT A LOT.

- WE ALSO LOVE MORE DUDE. OK SO MAYBE THATS JUST ME BUT SCREW IT I LOVE TALKING DOGS SO IM GLAD HE STILL TALKED. DOVE CAMERON AND A TALKING DOG IN THE SAME MOVIE IS BASICALLY PANDERING TO ME OK

- WE ALSO LOVE MALVIE CONTENT!!! love that evie was the only one who knew hades was her dad AND LOVE THAT THEY SAID I LOVE YOU TO EACH OTHER LIKE DAMN. AND DURING MY ONCE UPON A TIME WHEN MAL LIKE CARESSES HER FACE??? LIKE HER INTERACTION WITH HER WAS MORE INTENSE THAN WITH ANYONE ELSE EVEN BEN??? GOOD SHIT

- OK I KNEW ABOUT THE DID I MENTION REPRISE AS OF A FEW DAYS AGO BUT IM A SLUT FOR PARALLELS SO THAT STILL KILLED ME

- any parallels killed me. especially, ofc, ending with “cuz were rotten...to the core” (tho i was hoping the rotten remix thats on the soundtrack would be in the movie)

- loved getting more harry and gil content. gil is so blissfully stupid and precious and i love him and harry is so chaotic and i love him too

- and just...love the sea three bonding with the core four. also it felt well paced. wasnt rushed, had its moments to slowly get us there (mal+uma, jay+gil+harry) it felt like it went just the way it was supposed to.

- the whole series of events felt well paced and well ordered

- tbh i think its hilarious how chad’s douche baggery never dies down. i mean points for consistency i guess

- (did anyone catch the sign on the isle that mentioned monstro? good easter egg)

- (im really going out of order ik)

- one kiss was fun and cute, but i never felt like doug and evie were like...behind in their relationship? if anything i thought as of d2 their relationship was more stable than that of mal and ben

- night falls was a little silly and felt a little too similar to its goin down to me but it served a purpose and it was still fun

- and ofc it was so bittersweet to watch cam. the dedications were heart-wrenching but beautiful.

overall it really could not have been better! great new characters, great development on the characters we love, great soundtrack, and, most importantly, a story that perfectly wraps up the franchise. its hard to get a trilogy right. i love a lot of trilogies but a lot of them have some major flaws. with like say the kung fu panda movies, the 2nd and 3rd feel like theyre about very different things than the first. it doesnt feel like its telling one cohesive story. some have a second that feels unimportant to be between the 1st and 3rd. this just felt like perfectly coming full circle. everything from the beginning of the first movie to the end of the third felt necessary to tell the story. no useless filler, all essential to the plot, adding more as we go and resolving more, but having a hell of a lot of fun the entire time. i remember d2 being one of the most, if not the most, satisfying sequels ive ever seen. maybe part of that has to do with descendants being such a main fandom of mine when it came out, but sometimes, even new additions to my main fandoms can disappoint. these sequels really haven’t. part of that may just have to do with my love for the franchise regardless of the direction it goes in, but i know that it also has to do with just a great job in storytelling. continuing the story and wrapping it up just right. when the first one came out, we didn’t know it would be a trilogy. it works great as a standalone movie, but when you see the third one, you would think it was intended this way from the beginning, which honestly gives it even more power.

it breaks my heart to let this franchise go, but ofc in mal’s words “this is not the end.” with it just coming out, that means its just the beginning of discussions, gifs, memes, fanart, and all that fun stuff. so lets jump right in!

and, as always, every bit of love in my heart goes to cam tonight. we still miss you endlessly and we always will.

The Killers are one of my favorite bands of all time. like. i adore all their shit so much. and most people only know them from "mr brightside" but like. EVERY album of theirs is fan fucking tastic. and Brandon Flower's own albums of the stuff he did solo is really good too.

Imploding the mirage is a fucking incredible album. and one of the songs features K.D LANG so u KNOW its good.

its hard to say what my favorite songs of theirs are cus i really love all of them so much. Dying breed. The Man. Battle Born. All These Things That I've Done.... those are probably some of my all time favorites.

and like i know this is something the kids say all the time, but Brandon Flowers gives me major gender envy. like. i wanna be him so bad. but like in a woman way.

I'm also a really big fan of Summer Camp. I've been listening to a lot of their stuff lately.

their album Beyond Clueless was done as the soundtrack for a documentary about coming of age highschool films. that alone should tell you everything about their vibe you need to know.

(the documentary, btw, isnt good. so dont watch it. but definitely listen to the album)

Romantic Comedy is also a good album of theirs. I hate how much i like You Complete me. that whole album is sappy in such a lonely way. Condale is probably my favorite album of theirs though, but honestly every album has so many good little songs.

they're not a very well known band, so PLEASE check them out. i dont know how to sell you on them but i think if you havent heard of them before you should hear The Fighters, and Down. and if you like those songs, you'll probably like the rest of their stuff as much as I do.

LET'S TALK ABOUT BAT FOR LASHES CAN WE PLEASE????

I loooooove Bat For Lashes. Natasha Khan, the singer and songwriter, is just such an incredible story teller through her music. all her albums have so much lore to them. and her music sounds like. idk. this sounds dumb but its like the music you'd hear a ghost sing.

speaking of ghosts, the album The Bride is one i actually didnt like at first, but its grown on me a whole lot. its all about a woman who'se husband dies in a car crash on the morning of their wedding day. its like... sad, obviously, but im giving you that context because that context is what made me like the album way more. gave me a new way to listen to it.

Don't listen to that album first though. Listen to Lost Girls. that album is about women who join a vampire clan. ITS GOOOOOOOD. The Hunger and Safe Tonight are AMAZING songs please LISTEN to them. please.

The Haunted Man is probably my favorite album though. just because it has the most of my favorite songs.

If you're still reading this, im sorry, i dont wanna overwhelm you with music recs. i'll try to speed past through these next ones.

Innouwee is VERY good? so why has nobody heard of them? Listen to the album Ghosts and Shadows. its short, and its all good. every one.

YLHCSD (you love her coz she's dead) is.... VERY difficult to reccomend. i gotta warn you, its nothing like any of the rest of these bands. its like. very heavy electronica. i dont think anyone will like it, but i really like Superheroes and Nowhere To Run To. if you're just starting out though, you should ease yourself in with Lilya Forever or Softer Cell, before you ruin your ears with the rest of their music.

Iiris is very good. If you were like me in middleschool, and got really into Kerli, you'll love Iiris. The Magic Giftbox is an amazing album, but the rest of her stuff is kinda hit or miss. i still think all her stuff is very good sounding.

Dum Dum Girls should definitely be your thing if you liked my Summer Camp or Innouwee recommendation. Too True is such a nice Album! and that doesnt sound as glowing as my other recs, i know, but i mean nice in like. just laying down staring at the ceiling kinda way. like the music is so good but so easy and relaxed. its nice. Trouble Is My Name is probably my fav song of theirs.

And finally i just wanna talk about Italians Do It Better.

no, its not a band. and its not a genre. its more like. an umbrella that a bunch of very similar bands are all under. and they all have a very similar style. I think Johnny Jewel is their main guy. he does great work, and he's composed a lot of original scores for a bunch of those freaky art house type films. and usually those movies he composes for will use music by other artists under the Italians Do It Better umbrella.

The main band, that some of you might actually have heard of, Chromatics, are... SO good. if that name doesnt ring a bell, then the song Kill For Love might... maybe.... if not, still listen to it. They have a BUNCH of albums, and they all have a bunch of songs on them, so it'll take a while to hear all their best songs, but definitely listen to Move a Mountain, On The Wall, and Twist The Knife.

Some more of the best of Italians Do It Better includes Desire and Heaven. But they have fewer stuff, so you only have to listen to Saturday, by Desire, and Truth Or Dare, by Heaven.

OKAY that's it. im done. i wont recommend any more bands to you guys (i didnt even touch on all the vaporwave i listen to, you're welcome).

Does this kinda defeat the purpose? Probably but I want to answer all the questions bc they’re cool & fun and I’m a newer blog so people can read this and learn about me if they want to!

Day 4: fav couple

Okay as much as I love Em & Rose, I lowkey really like Alice and Jasper as a couple (would like them more if Jasper wasn’t a confederate soldier). I like how they found eachother and just how they are as a couple.

Day 5: fav group

The Cullens. I don’t really have a reason why but probably bc we get to know them the most.

Day 6: when and how did you get into twilight?

After the first movie came out on dvd I watched it at a friends house. And I fell in love. I got my own dvd & the books shortly after that.

Day 7: fav soundtrack

Twilight. I dont think that needs an explanation.

Day 8: how long have you had your blog, why did you start?

Like two weeks?? I think. And I started it bc I like the nostalgia of it all.

Day 9: best villian

Victoria. Hands down. She has the most understandable reason to be a villain and she’s smart. Even though I do question her taste in men.

Day 10: Breaking Dawn, yes or no?

There are a few parts of this I really like but most of it I could do without. Like a vampire/human hybrid is cool but there was no way for people to even guess that was possible bc smeyer didn’t build up to it correctly. Also idk the wedding/baby plot kinda changes Bellas character. But I liked learning about all of the other vampires. The imprinting on a baby thing was also a definite no from me. So idk some of it yes some of it no.

Day 11: fav movie scene and book part?

Ummmmm this is another hard question. In the movies the baseball scene was obviously iconic, oh and that scene in twilight where they get out of the car and everyones looking at them, the reunion scene in new moon, Jacob showing Charlie he’s a wolf in BD, and the BD fight scene. In the books I liked learning about all of the vampires backstories (especially Rosalies). There’s so many more but those are my top favs.

Day 12: best music moment

Baseball scene. Prom scene. Wedding scene.

Day 13: vent about your least favorite parts.

I’ll keep this short bc this is already going to be a long post and bc this has already been said. But Smeyer letting her beliefs and prejudices influence her writing. Especially when it comes to the wolf pack & women. Also the imprinting thing.

Day 14: fav book quote

“I decided as long as I’m going to hell, I might as well do it thoroughly.”

“No, Emmett, I punched a werewolf in the face.”

“I’m really glad Edward didn’t kill you. Everything’s so much more fun with you around.” (Gotta show Emmett some love)

Day 15: why do you love Twilight?

Its hard to put in to words, especially since the older I get the more problems I find with smeyers writing. But at the time I first read it, the stories were so good (I was in middle school so this was the first series I ever read, I had nothing to compare it to). I loved learning about vampires and the atmosphere. Now I love it for the nostalgia.

Day 16: fav cast member

I used to be O B S E S S E D with Kellan Lutz back in the day. But now I my favs are probably Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Also I like how Jackson Rathbone is willing to revisit the series.

Day 17: team Edward or team Jacob

Team Edward baby. (Even tho smeyer did Jacob dirty)

Day 18: least favorite character

Literally all of the volturi

Day 19: fav and least fav book cover

Fav: new moon. Least fav: eclipse.

Day 20: favorite non-canon ship

Jacob and literally anyone who isn’t Renesmee. Also Rose & Bella.

Day 21: Rachelle Lefevre or Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria

I think both did a great job but I don’t think the role should have been recast.

Day 22: fav additional book

The only one I ever read was Bree Tanner so its that one by default but I do want to get my hands on the others.

Day 23: have you seen Twilight in Forks or Destination Forks?

Nope!

Day 24: fav cullen, pack member, human, and Volturi

Cullen: Emmett. Pack member: Seth. Human: Charlie. Volturi: none preferably but I guess Heidi if I had to pick.

Day 26: would you rather have Midnight Sun or the ability to read Twilight for the first time?

This might be the hardest question I’ve answered. But I think Midnight Sun.

Twilight & Eclipse for both

Day 28: which part of the series was the most shocking for you?

BD fight scene in the movie. Rose’s backstory in the books.

Day 29: how would you feel about a remake with a new cast?

I would be so down. I would be even more down gor a tv show.

Day 30: how would your life be different without twilight?

My middle school years (and probably the rest of my life) would have been so sad and boring.
