gotta apreciate that toh didn't follow the "oh if you kill the evil guy that has murdered, is murdering and will keep murdering people for merely existing, you're as evil as him" trope. that they addressed that not every villain can be redeemed by the Power of Friendship (TM). that there are assholes in the world that are evil not because they're being controlled, not because they think they're doing the right thing, but because they're selfish and are willing to sacrifice lives for their own ego.

It's kinda interesting to think abt how fan theories in TOH have changed between the end of Season 1 and the end of Season 2, as more and more things have been revealed to us.

Season 1: "Will Lumity be canon? Will they get together before the show's finale? Is Belos a Human? What if Good Witch Azura is a real person, and is a time-travelling Lumity child?"

Season 2: "The single most important event in canon was a knife fight between two white Puritans 350 years ago, Alador and Darius are exes, Belos has killed at least 50 clones of his own brother." Meanwhile no one even wants to touch the thousand-year drama between a race of space-time gods, a 5-year-old alien with creative mode, and that weird fucking owl-dog.

[ID: Comic with the character Belos from the cartoon show The Owl House, in his monster form. It takes place after the episode "Thanks to Them". Belos is back to the demon realm in his monster form. He is seen going in his cave, overhead some tubes are full of a green glowing magical liquid. He says with a distorted voice: "I will finish this"

Belos is kneeling on the ground, looking down at it. A green tube is planted in the ground. Belos continues: "I just need..."

Belos is slowly melting into the ground in a horrific manner. In the background a goopy hand is reaching down as it shows all the goop disappearing in the ground as a green glow emanates from the earth.

A last drop of goop is seen on the ground before disappearing completely.

Next panel, a hand emerges straight from the ground.

A grimwalker, almost Hunter lookalike, is halfway out of the ground, looking at his hand. He show signs of possession by Belos, his eyes are icy blue and some green and brown patches appeared already. He finishes: "... A proper body to work with"

The background turned to black. On it is written: "Right, Caleb?".

The next panel shows the grimwalker, currently Belos, with horns sprouting from his head. He is taking up his (Caleb's) coat from a chair, continuing: "Thanks to them, we can finally-"

"Do this together" He ends in the next panel, tugging on his coat and smirking menacingly as his horns fully grew out of his head.]

oh the entire episode when gus was trying to connect with hunter through bootleg star trek 😭 😭 😭 he brought it up completely out of the blue and immediately told hunter about the clone character 😭 😭 😭 and later he told hunter that the character gus himself dressed up as already knew he was a clone 😭 😭 😭 he was trying to talk to hunter what he saw in belos’s mind but he didn’t want to bring it up too suddenly in case hunter got upset 😭 😭 😭

Okay Caleb's and Evelyn's son is sooooo cute. Especially when Evelyn suggests that he should do his uncle's hair and Philip is just like "What?!", but in the end probably just rolls with it. That will most likely the worsr hair style he ever had, but hey Caleb gets his me time.

Anyone who has a toddler in their life knows that you don't really laugh at whomever is put at the mercy of a child's creativity. ESPECIALLY PARENTS, if you want this person to show up again and babysit so you can just, like... stand in a corner and empty your head with silence for a bit.. You don't poke fun at your substitute, lol.

Also, it's genuinely heart-warming to see somebody participate in your kid's playtime and development. Especially awkward and kind-of stoic people that struggle with being social. Yet, allows children to climb all over them.

Also....

I love that Philip looks like an archaeologist and Caleb looks like a pirate. The duality of the Wittebane brothers.
