I love traveling for work, probably more than for leisure, it feels like I am investing instead of spending.

I love traveling solo, it helps me to focus on myself, reset and reorganize my thoughts.

I love traveling as light as possible, it reminds me the difference of “must-haves” and mere “nice-to-haves”.

I love staying in cheap hostels & fly LCC, as much as splurging on high-end hotels and business class, it teaches me about market segmentation and what each group of customers need, more than any business course will, plus I believe life is much more enjoyable with changes.

So glad even though the pandemic is still here, I can start being mobile again to some extend!

P.S.: Kyushu is warm enough for flipflops now!

「やっぱり家がいちばんだね」

口に出したことはないのに、なぜだか聞いたことがある言葉です。旅行や遠出は、それ自体が良いのはもちろんのこと、自宅の良さをあらためて教えてくれる、という一面もあるのかもしれません。

居心地の良さとか、いつもの安心感とか、好きなものに囲まれるとか。この「やっぱり家がいちばんだね」の「やっぱり」が何なのかを考えてみると、より良い空間づくりができそうな気がします。

連休も、あとすこし。おうちでゆっくり、自分の「やっぱり」を考えてみるのはいかがでしょうか。近所の #インテリア専門店や家具のお店で相談してみるのも、もちろんアリだと思います。

そういえば、「家に帰るまでが遠足です」も、なぜだか聞いたことがありますね。
