Your best friend Jibeom woke you up. You were going to an amusement park. You weren’t looking forward to it to be honest, jibeom decided to tell you last minute he brought 3 other friends too. They were his team mates. You didn’t know them and you were looking forward to spending the day with him since it was ages ago. But you didn’t want to make a fuss since he looked so excited.

He’d wanted you all to meet anyways so he thought this would be the perfect opportunity. They would wait in front of the entrance. So when he could finally find a parking spot, you both exited the car and walked to the front entrance. And you saw three boys standing there. They all looked nice and the smallest looked really cute. They all introduced themselves and you learned their names are Jaehyun, Donghyun and Joochan. You introduced yourself and after that Jibeom started telling something, you didn’t really listen since you stared at Donghyun. “Helloooo.. earth to Y/N” and you immediately snapped out of it. You felt your cheeks getting warm and you hoped that Donghyun didn’t see it.

The five of you bought the tickets and walked through the entrance. An arm held you back and you saw it belonged to Jibeom. “I know you like Donghyun already.” And he grinned. “What how’d you know?” You said and he laughed “c’mon Y/N I might be stupid but I still have eyes.” “Wait did Donghyun see it too?” You asked him “I don’t know but besides that you two would be such a good couple.” The 3 other boys turned around and looked curious about what you were talking about. “oh its just that Y/N told me that Donghyun is cute.” He told them and and you looked at him “YA Jibeom I’m gonna kill you.” And you punched his shoulder. “Not that it’s not true tho, your actually very cute.” You said while looking at Donghyun.

“Joochan, Jaehyun let’s run….. NOW.” And so you were now left alone with Donghyun. You were kind of embarrassed but Donghyun took your hand and started walking. “C’mon lets have a fun day together, the 3 of them are annoying anyways.” You laughed “I don’t know about Joochan and jaehyun but I can vouch for Jibeom.” Donghyun chuckled at your statement. You two started talking and walking around. You found out that you actually have much in common. You both love gaming and get annoyed by Jibeom fast.

The day was almost over and you decided to call Jibeom. You would all meet up at the entrance again so you could leave with Jibeom. But before you were all together again Donghyun stopped you. “hey I just wanted to say I had a really fun day.” You smiled “me too.” “I was wondering if you maybe want to do this again sometimes?” You looked at him “Like a date?” He nodded “but only if you want it to be.” “i would love to go on a date with you Donghyun.” He looked so excited and happy by what you said. It really melted your heart.

“can I have your phone donghyun?” He looked confused but still gave it to you. You went into his contact and put your phone number into his phone. You gave it back and he looked at the contact name “Y/Nnie~ ,thats cute” then you pecked him on the cheek and ran to the meet up place. He looked at you leaving him alone.

a/n: thank you for requesting !! i’m sorry it took so long for me to write but i’ve been so busy with a lot of stuff recently :/ but it made me so happy to write this after having a semi-hiatus !! i hope you’re having an amazing day/night !!

kissing prompt 11: staring at each other’s lips, trying not to kiss, before giving in

the back of the library was always your favourite place to study, it was secluded enough to reduce distractions and you didn’t mind sitting on the floor.

the bookcase, brimming with novels, felt firm against your back as you rested your arm on your head, absentmindedly threading strands of hair through your fingers. you were trying desperately to focus on the words printed within the textbook that you held in your hands, frosty from the library’s lack of heating. frankly, you were bored out of your mind from scanning the numerous explanations of chemical equations.

you had always hated science, which is why you enlisted the aid of your classmate donghyun to help you. the main reason being so he could prevent you from falling asleep, a fate you had so often encountered and had suffered the consequences of in the form of ‘d’ grades and too many aching headaches to count.

you had propped your foot up on a shelf of the bookcase haphazardly, it was uncomfortable enough that you were almost certain you couldn’t fall asleep in such an intolerable position. your eyes flicked quickly through the information in front of you as you fought the heaviness of your eyelids.

however, remarkably, donghyun had read even less of the textbook than you had. he had spent the last thirty minutes stealing glances at you from over the top of the book, making sure that your eyes didn’t catch his, while carefully examining your face.

he had concealed his crush on you pretty well, he thought; you only really hung out with him for school and even then, you didn’t seem to act weird around him at all.

he had been studying your face instead of studying chemical formulas, which was ironic seeing as you were usually the distracted one. there was something different about you, he thought as you bit your lip in concentration, something that meant he couldn’t stop staring.

he had began to notice your habits after months of studying together; the way you placed your finger between your teeth when you were stressed, the way you tapped your fingernails on your textbook to a song playing inside your head, the way your hand curled around the strands of hair that had been blocking your vision.

he hadn’t registered that at some point within his trance, you had shifted your gaze to meet his eyes and noticed he was looking right at you so, feeling confident, you had stared right back at him. his eyes darted back to his textbook as you saw the tips of his ears begin to glow; all the while, your eyes didn’t move.

as he brought his hazel eyes back up to meet yours, he realised that yours were no longer locked onto his but had shifted down to his lips. he mirrored your action, his gaze deviating to your mouth as your bottom lip crept between your teeth. you were frozen in your stares for what seemed like a lifetime, even though you both wanted to lean in.

his ears were scorching as impulse brought his body closer to yours, the textbook tumbling to the ground as he did so.

you leaned into his frame as his hands found their home, one resting comfortably on your leg and the other wrapping around your neck to hold your head. you had never seen donghyun this confident before, it took you off guard how forward he was being but, you had to admit, you liked it.

as his head inched closer to yours, the smell his coconut shampoo overwhelmed your lungs.

his hand brought your chin closer to his lips as they melted together in a blur of messy hair and hazel eyes. every breath you took tasted like the warm sun of june, you could almost feel the heat of summer when his lips touched yours.

your mouths moved in sync while his hand threaded the hair at the back of your neck. you hummed in appreciation, melting into his embrace as he deepened the kiss. books pressed into your back as his body pressed onto yours; it would’ve been uncomfortable at any other moment but you were so lost in the taste of his lips that you didn’t even feel it.

as you crept your hand up to his waist to pull him impossibly closer, the sound of a book falling to your side made you break away from the kiss. slightly dazed, you looked to your right and realised that your arm had been leaning on a pile of books and, in your dreamlike state, you had knocked them all over.

donghyun regained his breath as he let out a small laugh, bringing his hand to his eyes as he shifted himself back upright. he held out the other, pulling you up to join him in laughing at the mess you had made.

your gaze moved to his face once again, his cheeks tinted pink and his eyes smiling as he continued to giggle at your misfortune. you couldn’t lie, he had you hooked and you were beginning to realise why you had asked him to hang out so many times.

through stifled laughs you managed to speak,

“stop laughing at me !! we still have work to do you know”
