• I currently am on Ennies Lobby (I’m an anime watcher but tempted to pick up the manga. I’m just terrible at reading) and while I am aware of spoilers, I would prefer to only play characters that appear before or during the arc. Yes I am aware that is at the beginning and it does lead to some characters like Law and Doflamingo being excluded so if this is a turn off for you I completely understand. If, not epic! That said, I am doing my best to get through the show quickly and know too many spoilers (… I spoiled a good chunk of WCI for myself cause I am a sucker for Sanji content) so you don’t have to worry about completely tiptoeing around spoilers with me.

•If you can’t tell by my icon and the talk about spoilers, I would love to play against Sanji. I’m just a sucker for this silly little guy man. That said, if you’re willing to play him for me, I would be down to play just about anyone for you in return as long as like I said, I’ve been able to see them on the screen.

•That said, this is not a requirement but I would love to have our OCs involved in the same plot rather then being in two separate stories because I am a sucker for OC interactions and the stories feeling connected. So I would be especially be down to play another Strawhat for you (especially Zoro since I feel like that could allow for some very funny interactions but I’m down for anything).

•While my pairing is MxF, I am lgbtq+ friendly so feel free to hit me with any pairing on your side

• I prefer to rp on Discord but am down to try other formats just inform me.

•I am a literate-novella roleplayer and often tend to write 2-3 paragraphs at the very least and have written some pretty long winded posts. That said, I never expect the same length. Just quality replies I can work with.

•I love OOC and headcanons. Please please hit me with all your ideas, memes, rambles. I beg. I will eat all that stuff up. All I ask is that we both show equal interest in each other’s stuff and it doesn’t feel like one’s OC is more important than the other. If you ever feel like that is the case with me, tell me and I, in return, will tell you.

•That said, you don’t need an OC prepared to respond. If anything, feel free to message me if you don’t have an OC at all because I would adore to bounce ideas off of each other and see what we can make together. omg i haven't watched the first episode of the new season yet but it looks like it ends with emma being rescued by mujika??? that seems like, kinda crazy to be in the first episode so i'm wondering what your thoughts are on pacing and what you think the rest of the season will look like, bc now i'm wondering if they're trying to end the anime with this season which would really surprise me.

I do agree, it was crazy to have Musica already in the first episode. Until the very last moment before the anime came out, I thought we wouldn't have seen bunkerman this season. In that scenario, the whole season would have been solely about the kids' adventures in the promised forest; yet here goes most of that arc, and just with the first episode!! What had me believe we wouldn't have been seeing bunkerman is the fact that his VA hadn't been announced (and hasn't yet)- which seemed extremely odd to me, but maybe that's just how anime works? I'm not used to watching anime as they come out, so it might just be a common thing I'm not used to.

In any case, the pacing of the first episode was so fast!! It kinda caught me by surprise- or at least I was hoping real hard they wouldn't have gone for that ¯\_(╥﹏╥)_/¯

You see, what I'm personally looking for from the anime is more children content: give me all the younger children filler episodes; give me Ray adapting to a life he never thought he would have lasted long enough to live; give me Emma's interior conflict born from killing other living beings; give me all the Gilda and Don content!!! That's my personal preference. Then, to see that many chapters fly by just like that was... Kinda underwhelming I guess. The thing is, I do get it in a way? A lot of anime onlys have excitedly awaited for the new season to come out; Having the pace slowed down with wholesome children scenes probably isn't what most people were hoping for... That's why - though I personally despise it - I eventually came to the conclusion that cutting the snakes of Alvapinera scene made sense: we already had a debatably boring first ten minutes, with the focus on the children adapting to the forest and deciding their next moves; even with that not being my personal preference, I understand the choice of the creative team to keep vivid the action rather than slowing it down with the snakes scene, which gave, although ultimately deadly, a calm and apparently safe place that gave the children a break from the dangers of the surface. I can only say that I'm hopeful they won't keep rushing things in the next episodes as well: the last arcs of the manga were already hella rushed, please don't give us a rushed anime as well. I'd much rather have more filler episodes than several arcs packed in eleven episodes, even at the cost to wait another year to get to Goldy Pond (╥﹏╥)

Ok now to the hot matter: how much of the manga is the second season going to cover. I've spent the last two days trying to put down, considering the pacing of the first episode, what the next ten episodes will cover; this is what I came up with:

I initially didn't intend to post this so it's probably not very easy to read; to summarize, here is the chapters that I'm guessing the various episodes are going to cover:

Episode 1: chapters 38-45

Episode 2: chapters 46-52

Episode 3: chapters 53-60

Episode 4: chapters 61-64

Episode 5: chapters 65-68

Episode 6: chapters 69-73

Episode 7: chapters 74-73

Episode 8, 9: chapters 77-86

Episode 10: chapters 87-82

Episode 11: chapters 93-95 OR 93-97

As you can see, based on the first episode, I'd say the second season will end either with the destruction of GP or with the children getting ready to go search for Cuvitidala.

Now, this is more or less what the second season of the anime will cover if 1) as I said, it will maintain a constant pace to what was shown in the first episode and 2) it will follow the manga as it did in the first season.

It's impossible to tell for sure if the anime will mantain the same pace through the whole thing. But, about the second point, I'm pretty sure the anime won't follow that much the manga storyline as it did for the first season? In the interviews they've repeatedly stated this season will contain more changes; Shirai is listed in doing series composition in the credits (differently from the first season, where he was only credited as author of the source material), and we know Demizu has collaborated to create new designs for the anime. For how I'm interpreting things, even though the first episode strictly followed the course of the manga, in the next episodes the plot is likely to take an entirely different route. The plot course might change, for example, after the kids have separated from Musica and Sonju, or when Emma, Ray and bunkerman are leaving the shelter. I think there's a lot of openings for them to intervene with changes.

Do I think this is going to be the last season? Mmh, I find it unlikely. The audience, and especially the Japanese audience, loves Norman, and since I predict him not having much space in this season, he will probably come back to be a main character in the next ones. Besides, The Promised Neverland is ranked as being the 10th Best-Selling Media Franchise in Japan for 2020, so they'll probably (hopefully) want to keep it going as long as they can.

Dating Headcanons Sero, Denki, and Kirishima

Sero

Sero is probably the most balanced boyfriend out of the three.

He has a very chill personality and is a GREAT listener which makes the relationship run very smoothly.

Disagreements between the two of you are rare because he’s always willing to hear you out and try to make compromises. He’s flexible so changing up his routine or adjusting his habits comes easily to him.

He doesn’t even expect the same courtesy from you but please don’t take advantage of that.

His love language is “Acts of Service,” so his heart melts whenever you do things for him unexpectedly.

Sero feels so loved every time he goes to take his spare Hero Costume to the dry cleaner only to find it’s already clean and hung up neatly in the closet, or when you offer to make his lunch in the morning so he can get a few extra minutes of sleep.

To reciprocate, he often attempts to cook dinner for you. His meals are a little iffy at first, but after a while he gets the hang of it and even starts to enjoy it.

Dates with Sero are pretty relaxed. He’s always down to get take out and watch a movie while cuddled up on the couch as long as you’re okay with that.

If you want to go out though, he’s a fan of leisurely activities like walking through an aquarium or visiting a Japanese garden.

His hero work takes a lot out of him so when he has free time he just wants to spend time with you and recharge.

It means a lot to him if you get along and hang out with his friends too. The Baku Squad is always having game nights, so if you can come with him and blend in with the group he’s going to be really happy.

Sometimes, in the evenings, Sero will take you into the city and use his quirk to swing you through the buildings so you can enjoy the sunset or night view with the pretty lights.

He thinks it’s romantic, and if you’re afraid of swinging around, he’ll just take you to a rooftop café instead.

Denki

Denki has two modes: the super cool confident boyfriend and the insecure boyfriend who thinks you’re out of his league.

All he wants to do is be the perfect partner for you, which is a nice thought but he sets the bar for himself way too high.

He never wants to disappoint you, so he’ll often do things he doesn’t want to that you don’t even expect him to do, just to make you happy.

Please keep the lines of communication with him open and remind him that he’s an equal part of the relationship.

It really boosts his confidence when you take his feelings and opinions into consideration.

Denki loves you so much and is going to brag about you to all his friends. He might be nervous about you hanging out with the Baku Squad though because he doesn’t want you to think less of him if they tell you any embarrassing stories.

Also, he gets really down on himself sometimes if he doesn’t do as well as his friends with school or work, so he needs you to be there to assure him he’s good enough. He needs lots of cuddles on these days.

Denki’s love language is “quality time.”

He doesn’t need you to buy him gifts or take him to expensive restaurants. He considers any time spent with you to be valuable, and honestly he can’t get enough.

If he could be with you 24/7 that would be perfect for him.

Dates with Denki always revolve around hobbies that you both have. Some things he likes to do together are reading manga at the bookstore or spending a couple hours at the arcade before grabbing something cheap and greasy to eat.

This boy is very open minded and adventurous too, so if you want to travel to some exotic country or just try out the new food shop that opened up in town he’s definitely up for it.

What Denki loves most is to make you laugh. Your smile is his reason for life, so prepare for a lot of corny jokes and cheesy pickup lines if he notices you looking sad or upset.

Kirishima

Kirishima is more than just your boyfriend. He is your very own personal hype man.

There will be no self-deprecating comments or behavior on his watch. You are the most amazing person he’s ever met and as far as he’s concerned, the world revolves around you.

Whatever your hobbies or interests are, he’s going to support you 100 percent. He’ll even try to learn more about them so he can understand how to help you if you ever get stuck or are having trouble improving.

To be honest, he can sometimes get a bit too passionate and you’ll need to tell him as gently as you can to calm down and give you some space.

He might also ask you to join him when he does his workouts or goes running. Do not feel obligated to say yes, but it will make his day if you do.

Kirishima’s love language is “words of affirmation.”

Any kind of praise or verbal appreciation sends him over the moon, so please do not hold back on the compliments.

Telling him honestly how much you enjoyed his company after hanging out, or that he really helped you out with a problem you had is going to make him feel really good.

Of course, the best words of all are “I love you.” He can never hear those enough, and he is not shy about showering you with love and compliments either.

Dates with Kirishima are very active, like him.

He likes to do anything exciting such as going to an amusement park.

Letter from 2012

Dear Future-Me,

Hi! How are you doing? It has been a long time hasn't it, since the winter of 2012. Remember when the whole world was spazzing about the 2012-Apocalypse? Fortunately, it didn't happen. And I hope it still hasn't in your current time!

I'm glad I found this site; I think it will help me find myself as a person. I don't know if you remember but currently, I am totally lost in who I am (as cheesy as it sounds). Everyday, every minute when my mind is not pre-occupied with something else, I think about my life, my identity, my future and what choices I should make. Am I still like that in your current time? I think, after writing this, I can focus more on the 'right-now' and worry less of the future. Well, I hope so anyways.

I have many questions for my future-self. I hope you won't feel bombarded while reading this long(ass) letter and I do hope you'll feel nostalgia (since I AM a sensible/emotional person...still?). And while reading and answering every of these questions, I want you to thoughtfully think over the experiences you have gone through and gained.

1. First of all: where are you right now? I haven't calculated the time so I don't know whether you have graduated already or are still in your last term of post-secondary education. Am I still in uWaterloo? Or have I decided to switch to Laurier's BBA program? Or maybe something completely different? If I stayed at UW, do I still hate the place as I much as I do now? Remember my first winter break from uni? I dreaded going back to school. Hated the Double-Degree program. What about now? I'm so curious...

2. Am doing something I love? I like? I tolerate? Or did I end up listening to my parents and stick with the DD program? In particular..how many courses did I fail? LOL.

3. Am I motivated now? In my current time, I am so not motivated and productive. I just spent the whole day today reading shoujo manga. And that's pretty pathetic.

4. Am I still thinking of writing? Have I written something? I hope I did. I would be really disappointed actually.

5. What was first-year coop like? Second, third. fourth, fifth year like? Did I get to try foreign exchange? I really hope I did. Where did I go?

6. How is my relationship with my parents? Mom? Dad? How are they doing? I hope they've finally understood how I feel. If not, then maybe just a bit?

7. How is Sophie Yin, James Jiang and Chuang Li? I hope you're questioning yourself "who are they?" right now. They are currently my dear friends, who have helped, taught and supported me during 1A.

8. How is Andrew Chan? I hope I haven't lost contact with him. And Sinheng Li? Even though I don't really enjoying being with her, there's still sense of friendship since she was my first friend back in high school. And my four besties: Crystal Wang, Zoe Chong and Alexandra Cui? I really really REALLY do hope we're still together after all these years. Have they all changed? Oh what am I saying; people change all the time!

9. Have I found a job? Have I secured one? Remember how I was always worried about my future and career? Thinking back, was I being a silly worrywart?

10. Have I found a good steady boyfriend? Please tell me I have dated at least once in university! (oh and...am I still a virgin? If not...what was my first time like?)

11. Have I gotten fatter or skinnier (I hope the latter!)? Am I living a healthier and more active lifestyle than I am currently living now?

I hope that took you down a very good road of memory lane. These past five years...I hope they were worth every second of it. The tears, the laughter, the heartache and happiness, the bad decisions and hard work. I really do wonder...where will I be in five years?

Have I found myself? Have I become a better person? Have I found what I'm looking for? Do I know where I'm going? In the December of five years from now, I'll be 23 - going on 24 in two months. Man...will I be old!

Last question: am I still scared of the future and life?

I really do hope I'm doing well in your current time. If not, then please hold on and persevere! Please, for the sake of the future-me!
