Wof fandom constantly says that the death of Arctic is the creepiest and most "not for kids" moment in this series of books. Although this moment took up a maximum of 2 sentences and was not described in detail.

But everyone still forgets how terrible Gill's death was. He was literally starved and dehydrated so badly that he went crazy and drank his own blood. Why the fuck doesn't anyone say THIS moment absolutely not for kids in children's books!?

You've been watching Peril just absolutely obliterate all your prison mates and then you get a front-row seat to watching a shit ton of NightWings slaughter 20-something additional gladiator prisoners then Queen Scarlet, from the best of your knowledge, mcfucking died by some assassin so after all that shit… You're probably like… no more than 19-20 years old

SeaWing Royals HeadCanon:

Auklet should look EXACTLY like Gill. I want Coral to look at her and see a ghost.

Also I think she should be largely raised by Anemone, who should go back to the Sea Kingdom to make sure Coral doesn’t ruin Auklet.

Gill had dark brown scales as well as light green underscales, like a turtle.

Tsunami looks a lot like Gill too. I also draw her with yellow highlights to remind everyone that she’s Gill’s daughter more than Coral’s.

Coral knew that Blister and Whirlpool were liars and actually hated her. She just BADLY needed their constant attention and validation after Gill’s death.

Orca was about to escape the Sea Kingdom and Coral’s weird way of raising her, when she discovered her animus magic. She thought she could save the tribe from Coral, so she challenged her way before she was ready. She never wanted to rule the kingdom.

Turtle is biromantic asexual (source: trust me bro.)

Gill just wanted peace, and was kind of a pushover. Resisting Scarlet took a lot out of him.

Gill recognised Tsunami’s wing patterns. He knew who he was and who she was for just a second before he died and he felt awful.

Scarlet also knew that they were father and daughter, and wanted to get Tsunami killed as soon as possible to avoid Tsunami taking over her tribe and removing the SeaWing from the war. She loved the idea of an insane Gill killing Tsunami.
