Yaay beetlewing oc!

Ok, to be honest this is my first post and I have no idea how tumblr works!!

This piece is to commemorate my 17th birthday a couple days ago and display my totally awesome WOF sona!! Which is a BeetleWing! (I know they are extinct as of now) but who said I can’t have fun? DA BABIES!!!!!!

Sunstreak and Clearsight are like...Clear strike into Darkstalker's heart. Love it.

I fantasized a little about what one of the first children of the Clearsight and Sunstrike could be like. The dragonets are not related to the canonical ones mentioned in the book, here I was just thinking about the design.

Pantala dragons are quite different from Pyrrhyans, and because of this, it seems to me that the first cubs could turn out to be either deformed or with some mutations, defects. I also took into account that the genes in the wof are mainly from the mother, and my own design of beetlewings. First Dragonet He is devoid of any abilities, he does not have star scales and antennae have not grown, in the future there will be a very thick horn on his forehead, some scales have not grown evenly and fall off from the general group.

The second Dragonet: He has grown a second pair of small wings that prevent him from flying, but he is trying to learn. Small wings don't move well. It also turned out to be a dirty color.

And the third one: He was born under two full moons, but cannot perceive other dragon's thoughts in words, sees only pictures that often confuse him. Mutated horns with growths and too small wings, with large wing elytras, most likely he will not be able to fly. There is a poisonous thorn on the tail.

In fact, it is possible to draw different characters with exactly the same coloring, but they may look completely different. I don't understand why Mike sometimes draws awesome dragons with different shapes, and sometimes he draws such crap that well...it would be better if it didn't exist.

Yay. Green Whiteout!

Arctic, Foeslayer, Darkstalker and Whiteout

Some notes:

Arctic isn't old, just wasting away from stress and animus magic taking a toll on his body, being in the wrong environment also doesn't help

He is the reason Darkstalker and Whiteout have ridged spiral horns, Diamond also had them

Foeslayer is so cute shdhdjdnn, lots of battle scars from being a top ranking soldier

Gave her red eyes, it fits her well

Made Darkstalker to have no fur privilege, also I like the idea of him looking more like his father so he is blueish and more angular

Also red eyes because it looks cool

I like to think Whiteout superficially looks more like her mother, rounder shapes and body, greenish scales, same horn shape even if spiralling. Stonemover's stone scales and Sunny's darker patches also make them look like her

I accidentally made her look like a Seawing cause I had trouble making her fur curly, but I like that and I like the fact she could kind of look like Orca, weird opposite parallels

I remember saying a long time ago that most of the hybrids in wof are in some sense disabled. And this is even understandable, because damn it... hybrids must have health problems, since they are a mixture of species that are very different. And when I once said this, people began to actively argue with me and say that I was wrong.
