There was an abrupt, urgent knocking at the doors one night, a young, Catholic nun stood before Cardinal Copia, the one who answered, stunned by the glittering tears in her eyes and the moonlight touching her wet cheeks. Bewitching. She mistook the church to be another sister monastery in her desperation and distress for help. A great evil had fallen upon her blessed little community. And much worse, her dear friend, Sister Velena, has been possessed by something evil, and is being held in the levels below their monastery. None of their priests seem to be able to exercise the demon, yet refuse to seek outside aid. Hearing the desperation in her sweet voice, seeing the way Natalia looked at him with so much earnest, coming to him in fear and with nothing but good intentions, how could he refuse her? 

But this was not a holy place, and the Cardinal was no priest.

And to answer your question, yes, the ex-Catholic nun is Sister Natalia! This little story is going to show how she converted to the church, as well as introduce how some other characters, canon and oc, came into this au.

Otherwise known as when you fall in love with the rat man that the other siblings warned you about. As for the rats…are they symbolic of/foreshadowing the four “little rats” Copia and her will one day have of their own??? Perhaps, only time will tell…(and so will I in the event that I finish writing all of this mf story)

I’m having trouble coming up with the rat names but I like to think that since Copia is a weirdo (affectionate) they would all have a lot of pop-culture inspired names (no matter how weird or out of date). So names so far: Lucci, Rizzo, Remy and Emilia.

Rizzo, after the muppets (this is a call back to my Popia at Disney headcanons where I said he’d really get a kick out of the MuppetVision 3D attraction there) I could just see him liking the muppets in general so idk it made sense 2 me in the moment.

Remy and Emilia (initially Emile) after, uh Ratatouille his the rats’ favorite movie of all time

Lucci (I was originally thinking Lucy like shirt for Lucifer, but???) after the soap opera actress Susan Lucci 😭

I just don’t know about these I really don’t. I also affectionately call Copia an Ameriboo and I like to think in his many, many, years of life he has traveled around and ya know…been places, been to America, been exposed to daytime television soap operas and Disney movies about rats so 🤷🏼‍♀️ (this of course, prior to becoming Papa)

Fast forward a long ass time and you find some cool satanic worshippers that dig the idea of conceiving your child for you and the Devil, but they actually fuck you over with the blood magic stuff they used and now your son belongs to them. You don’t find this out until you’re about to bless him during his dedication ceremony after the woman you trusted to carry your son has the baby, which you have never been happier in your existence about. Said woman has the audacity to name your baby “copy” since she used the fetus of her own baby with the current Papa to make an antichrist. You can’t tell him who he really is or who you are, and all like five of the demon kings that you hang out with that love you so fucking much can’t do anything either because of that drippy ass pendant Mr. Salty is wearing giving him Solomon top energy. Now you’re terrified of what they’re going to do with your son and wondering how long it will be until they kill him, and you can only interact with him while you’re in your silly little human cosplay. 

Oh, and your son is being raised by rats for like the first couple years of his life because his dad thought it was a good idea. He’s never seen The Omen, but if he had he totally would have given Copia a hell hound. Rats are rad too though. 

But it all kind of works out, because you really really like the current Papa’s oldest son, and so do all the other Lords of Hell, so you decide to sort of gift him/ dump a third fratellino on him AND give him a sexy vampire Prime Mover that you have blessed yourself. 

Now all the Unholy Mother can do is wait until the wrath of God can come down upon the church when Jesus arrives.
